Overall decent service and everyone Ive interacted with is friendly. However, it is a dealer so prices are higher than youll probably find in other places in the area. Theyre also not good at returning calls. I had the front bumper replaced and it fell off not even a week later when I was out of town. I was able to get it repaired at a dealer where I was, but when I called and Fox Ford and left messages to let them know and see if I should bring it back in or get any sort of compensation, they never called me back.

Excellent experience buying a pre-owned car!!! I went in with the intention of just wanting a quote on a Ford Escape, and ended up droving home!Daniel P. was a great help when talking about the features of the car, and allowed us to take it on a test drive! Once we returned from the quick trip around the block the process was quick and easy when putting down the deposit, purchasing insurance, registration, and plates.Within two hours of arriving at the dealership I was driving home in my new 2020 Ford Escape home!Highly recommend this dealership and their seasoned staff to anyone looking to buy a car!

I called about a used Ford Explorer and when it was sold the awesome salesman Lavern told me about an MDX that was for sale (needed 3 rows). I went in and he had Daniel help me with it. Daniel was awesome and made the whole experience super easy. I would definitely recommend Fox Ford, Daniel and Lavern if you are looking to purchase a new vehicle.

I bought a car a couple of days ago from these guys. It is last year model and was discounted, but offered as brand new vehicle. They kept me for four hours and gave me the keys 5 min before they close. For my biggest surprise when I get in the car I found it had almost 3K miles on it, 6-7 phones paired to the audio system and bunch of stains all over the seats. I called the next working day and they told me that a car is considered new for up to 6K miles on it. My understanding for a new car is not quite the same... I definitely DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. There are a lot of Ford dealers in the area, go somewhere else. I like Ford cars, but not liers.

If youre shopping for a new vehicle or having an electric vehicle delivered to this dealership, just dont. Fox Ford has the worst customer service, never responds timely, and is actively avoiding my calls to delay my delivery transfer. Avery Lawrence, the sales manager, provided false information that contradicted Fords corporate office, and wont provide information to which they are only privy. His manager, Shannon, has not returned multiple calls.Fords roll out of its electric vehicles should have skipped this dealership and delivered direct to consumer like Tesla. This dealership adds no value for the consumer, and if anything diminishes and tarnishes Fords brand and its electric vehicle launch. I would have my vehicle delivered to another dealership so I dont have to deal with their lies, but theyve made that impossible with the lack of help and responsiveness. A customer shouldnt have to resort to a negative review to receive a response. If you must shop Ford, shop elsewhere.Update:Don’t waste your time. Buyer beware! Read the terrible reviews and take your business elsewhere.I wasted hours on the phone with this dealer and with Ford Marketing to confirm my Mach E order was on time and even finished the steps to complete my purchase online . I arrived at the dealership today to find out the vehicle I had been waiting for since November 2020 was sold to someone else. It didn’t matter that I’d spoken with their finance director, Sam Hammad, less than a week ago to confirm everything was in order with the delivery and financing. Their sales manager, Shannon, said the confirmation and reassurance from the finance director didn’t matter. Their other sales manager, Avery Lawrence, apparently canceled my order after I’d asked him to transfer my vehicle delivery to another Ford dealer because his shady tactics rubbed me the wrong way. My suspicions were confirmed.Salesmen at Ford’s dealerships do absolutely nothing when it comes to Mach-E orders. I built the car online, paid the deposit online, applied for and was approved for Ford credit online, I completed the purchase online, and even submitted my trade in information and accepted Ford’s offer on my trade online. All this dealership had to do was get out of the way and let me accept delivery and they botched that simple task royally. They ruined the Ford brand for me. One can easily buy a luxury vehicle for what I was about to spend on the Mach E. I’m only shopping direct to consumer delivery because of this experience.Ford, its dealerships, customer service, and the Marketing Department that rolled out the Mach E is a mess. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing and the consumer ultimately suffers. There is no checks and balances between Ford Corporate, regional reps, and the salesmen at the dealership. This dealership runs rogue while Ford Marketing opens complaints tickets with no intention to rein in or resolve issues with dealerships.Long story short, avoid Fox Ford and save yourself the time and headache.

I was in the market for a new truck in order for my family and I to make a military move to Jacksonville, NC. I told Mike what my budget was and within minutes he was able to show me all the trucks within my price range. When I was about to drive off the lot with the truck, he stopped me and said it was not washed to his standard, which I though was fine, talk about customer service! My family and I had a awesome truck buying experience from Fox Ford Chicago and we’ll definitely be buying another car/truck from there, especially if Mike is still there!

I have a Ford that needs constant maintenance which isn’t fox fords fault but for seeing them almost weekly you would think they would try to develop a relationship or treat me with respect. Instead it feels like Boris at the service department goes out of his way to keep my car from working properly as much as he can. My last few service visits have been over 2k for my Shelby you would think when I drive up they would be smiling. I’ve gotten to know Boris pretty well and I feel like the more often I see him the more he does his best to ruin my day. After every service I get a text asking to rate Boris and that an email will be sent where I can rate him. After 5 or 6 service visits I never received the email, if I were Boris I wouldn’t have sent it to me either.

Had a terrible experience with Ziegler lincolnwood buying my wife’s Buick a few weeks ago, so I didn’t know what to expect today buying out my lease on my f150. Great service today from Wade Sims. No funny business and the fees were legit(government fees, doc fees, etc). Great salesman and great storyteller. He didn’t waste my time or my 7 month old who tagged along, and he’s got great stories to tell. Ask for Wade and get treated like more than just a commission.

Edit for Fox Fords Response: You said that I should not hesitate to respond and that you look forward to talking to me, but you did not leave a contact number or email. This seems to be on par with the service I have been receiving here. I also submitted a review through your website, but have not received a response. Saying customer service is your #1 focus does not mean it is. Actions speak louder than words.I have had nothing but a terrible experience trying to reach someone in the service department, and get answers for when my car will be fixed. My cars transmission module is broken. Several weeks ago I tried calling the service department, but no one would answer, so I had to call sales to transfer me. I eventually got through after over an hour on the phone, getting disconnected, etc. (the mailbox of the service department is full, so you cannot leave a message). I was finally able to get it in 3 weeks ago, and they said the part was on backorder, and it should be in in about a month. I figured they should have an update by now, but after going through the same BS on the phone that I did several weeks ago, I finally got through, and the service person on the phone was less than helpful and couldnt give me an update on when I can expect my car to be ready since the parts are still on backorder.On a side note, I am also in the market for a new car, and wanted to see if they were interested in buying my car, and reached out to several people, and sent a few emails and text messages, but I got 0 responses. I know that the used car market is pretty hot right now, but they dont seem to want my business. There is 0 chance I will sell to this dealership even if they had the best offer.

I contacted the dealership regarding the new plug in electric hybrid escape. I mentioned I know its delayed related to the chip shortage. The sales rep that responded told me they do not have the plug in hybrid escape and made it sound like they wont get one. My question was asking if they knew when it would be dropped. So I called the Webb Ford in Highland that my family and I have used in the past. They have my contact information and will contact me for the sale when the vehicle I want comes in. I was willing to wait and I was planning on leasing a vehicle if it was going to be past the time that I wanted to wait. Shameful service.my family works for Ford so I get whats going on but I know what I want.

I had a flat tire at the worst possible time. I managed to reach Fox Ford where Tom the Ops manager and Danny the tech were SO kind to me. All the technicians had left for the day. But Tom and Danny were willing to help in an emergency situation. I dont know what I would have done without them. I was able to make it home. God Bless them!

If I could take stars away I would. The service department at this location really doesn’t care about it customers and is just in the business of making money. Go to another Ford dealer. If you have a warranty that is not ford they still will try to find away to over charge you. I paid for a aftermarket warranty on my truck that cover 100 of my repairs. They wanted 170 dollars too do a Diagnostic on the computer this is something that AutoZone does for free and when you go to the emissions they check your air flow. This is 10 minute process it automatically gives The vehicle codes in less than five minutes but they want a whole hour of service too read the codes. My warranty was willing to give them 30 minutes they refused and said I had to pay the rest of the 30 minutes because they want an hour of labor that’s the minimum.I asked the clerk to clarify how long it took to read the codes four times she refused to tell me how long it took. I had also paid for an oil change out of my pocket and a tire rotation which was already $109 plus tax the warranty was going to pay some money and their oil change the works is supposed to give you an inspection (wouldn’t a check engine light come up under the inspection).They say they going to give you a report but then charge you an extra $170 to get the report.I had to call them for this information because, I simply only came in for oil change and then said (could you check my engine light out) they said maybe then wouldn’t release my vehicle because the check engine light said my oxygen sensor was out.I had already read the codes before coming here and I had a scheduled appointment to fix it underneath the warranty for the following Tuesday. It’s Friday and they said they won’t release the vehicle to me after my oil change because they don’t have the parts and oxygen sensor seriously they said they can’t release the car after a diagnostic without repairing it. What if you want to get service somewhere else they’re not gonna give you your vehicle back you have to do service with them this is totally wrong and Unacceptable.

They made a lot of false promises in order to convince me to buy my car from them and went back on those guaranteed benefits, such as an oil change in 30 minutes or less or else it is free, in less than just a few short years. Those service guarantees were the main reason I purchased my car from them and they would not honor them. After being pressured into buying a truck, because it was first come first serve...and someone was coming tomorrow!.....we took delivery on a truck that was not ready to sell. Absolutely no recalls were performed on the truck, they didnt get the chip in the windshield fixed in time, its missing the splined lugnut socket....which apparently was never put back in the vehicle after they serviced the tires. We were clearly just a sale to them. We live an hour and 1/2 away and were not making a 3rd trip to get this deal done. Lots of lessons learned.

My mask triggered these employees.1st time at this location & the employees were beyond rude.I was told my car needed to be left there for about 6 hours, with a $89? Fee just for my car to be checked.... I was not told any of this over the phone.I left within 10 mins & took my business elsewhere, where I paid a total of $75 and my car issue was fixed within 45 minutes. 🙌

I would not recommend to buy a car from here. I called in to see if the car was here. First I talked to a woman who barely spoke english, told me the car was there. I believe her name was Maria, I made an appointment with her. I get a call on a Saturday the day of the Appointment, to confirm the appointment. His Name was Laverne, he told me the car has sold. I wanted to cancel my appointment, but he kept trying to push me for another car. A car i didnt want. Laverne made me so uncomfortable and tried to force me to come in, I was so uneasy i didnt want to step foot there. I ended up going to Zeigler, where i didnt feel pressured into coming in to see a car, i didnt want.

I came in to test drive a car that was about $10.5k. The sales rep was ready to sell it to me that day and told me that the price would not change. After test driving the car and talking with the dealer, they changed their tune and stated it wasn’t ready to be sold. Came back and it was priced at $16.8k. Wouldn’t work with them.

This is regarding the Fox Lincoln service department. I’ve previously had great service from them. But over the last 3 weeks now I have requested a Pick Up & Delivery appointment, receive an email acknowledging my request and that someone will reach out to set it up, and never hear back. I even emailed the customer representative about the issue and they said they would follow up with the service department and have them reach out, but still nothing. I used to be able to just book the appointment using the Lincoln app or website but it looks like that has been disabled for just this location but still available for other Lincoln locations.

Took my car in to Jessica Hernandez to get insurance repairs after somebody hit my car and insurance was covering everything to get it repaired I showed her the paper work and she kept saying it wasn’t valid and that I had to get a supplement form from the insurance when the insurance company already told me that whatever repair facility you take into will know how to deal with supplement form and that I wouldn’t have to do anything because all the instruction were stated in the paperwork I showed her the paperwork but she was too busy filing and trimming her nails that she wouldn’t even talk to the insurance company to get everything settled out then starts to get annoyed with me like I’m the one whose causing the problem. I made the insurance company contact her directly and she didn’t want to cooperate with them either. Made me waste $165 out of my own pocket for a diagnostics to see what’s wrong with the car and would not accept the insurance paper work then after all this she gives me the wrong supplement form and diagnostic which the insurance company doesn’t accept had to use my Ford warranty to get the damages repaired on my car. I WOULD AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH JESSICA HERNANDEZ ABSOLUTE ABSOLUTE WORST. Will never come back to this place ever again GO TO GOLF MILL FORD INSTEAD FOR QUALITY AND FAST SERVICE!!!!UPDATE‼️ Steve Vihnanek reached out to me and made sure I was well taken care of for this misunderstanding. Went in for a check engine light and brake change 4 months ago. They told me it was because a leaking water pipe so I went ahead and paid 1.5k for repairs. Fast forward one week and my check engine light is back on and the brakes are still grinding (convinced they didn’t change them at all). I called and let them know and they informed me “We still have to charge a you again to check because something might have happened in a week”. Went in yesterday to appraise my car since they’ve been contacting me to do so. Was told my car is in shambles and isn’t worth more than $500. After bringing up my issues with THEIR repair department I was met with a blank stare and poor excuses for how the model was defective from the start. I highly recommend you bring your business elsewhere unless you enjoy pouring your money into a money pit of deception and poor service.

I used to go to Jiffy Lube for my car service, but for the past two years I have taken my Fords in to Fox Ford for service and it has been GREAT!Brad in the Fleet Dept. takes car of me every time. BUYER BEWARE!! Bought the New Ford Bronco Sport January 25th. Warning lights were going off when I pulled out of dealership after purchasing the car. Has had 27 alert problems for car in less than a month. Powertrain malfunction, collision assist doesn’t work, says my windows & doors are ajar when they aren’t. Ford is not honoring lemon law & refuse to buy car back. Fox Ford has done absolutely nothing to help with buy back process. Mechanic had my car 3 weeks the first month I bought it. Really disappointed that they told me they don’t get involved in buy back, told me I was on my own. You need to be loyal to your customers.

If you arent aware of fords lawsuits on certain vehicles you should google them.. you may have missed the notice or have never received one as I Hadnt.. either way Im usually very understanding when it comes to service and repairs but the customer service here and knowledge of the advisor I was given was awful. She (jessica) was very uneducated in recalls and seemed to have no interest in trying to help out. Instead she proceeded to claim that my recall was in fact not a recall at all. We left the car to be fix only to later be called and told that the recall I was asking about was in fact resolved and fixed. No sh*t was my initial thought when hearing the voice-mail. We picked our vehicle up and what do you know, 3 hours later the car was back to driving even worse then when we had dropped it off.So we proceed to call the dealership and ask if it can be looked at again due new problems with stalling while driving. We arrive and to no surprise our advisor yet again is Jessica. We looked at each other and immediately felt, here we go again, this isnt going to be fixed or even given a proper look as she knows everything as she did our first visit. We explained our concerns and how dangerous it was even getting to the dealership with the new stall issues and felt our words go in one ear and out the other. All she could advise was that we pay $165 dollars to have a diagnostic run for something that we felt was at fault of the original visit or the current lawsuit ford faced for all of our vehicles recalls to begin with. Of course Jessica knew everything but the recalls and lawsuit for our lemon of a ford focus and proceeded to quote us $2500 dollars to fix an issue that was not an issue before our first visit. We are now contacting corporate to be heard and potentially a lawyer as this problem has only gotten worse and are car now stalls uncontrollably and at times wont even reverse.Best advice is to about his dealership and from this experience, avoid ford in general.

I just received an e-mail from their Product Specialist Ruben Garnica, who claims hes set aside a time to meet with me on Friday, February 26 (today) at 12:30 pm. It offers a map and driving directions. This e-mail acts like we agreed on some sort of appointment, but here in the real world, I havent spoken to this dealership in years, and I no longer own my Escape. Im disturbed by your way of attempting to get business.

Conclusion: This ford dealership and service center is out to take complete advantage of you.I called service multiple times and not only did they not answer, there was no way I could leave a message (mailbox full). With COVID I wasnt sure if I needed to make an appointment for an oil change-- its a good thing I didnt need any actual service because no one would have answered and I would not have been able to schedule it.During my oil change I got a text listing close to $2,000 of additional work that needed immediate attention. Off this list, I chose to have my alignment done and there were STILL issues with the alignment after they performed the work (they provided me with a report that showed the back right tire still wasnt in the green-- why did I spend over $100 for them to fix this when they couldnt?).Additionally, my car battery died a week after my appointment with Ford! Of all the things that were listed as needing immediate attention, Ford said my battery was fine! The absolute cherry on top is that when I was jumping my car to go get a new battery, I found what looked to be a CHICKEN BONE under my cars hood! Disgusting.After all this, I brought my car to an incredibly reliable mechanic in the area and they told me that I have at least a year left on all the things Ford had deemed needing immediate attention.Unfortunately, this is just one of three horrible experiences I have had with this dealership. Third time is the charm-- I will not be coming back and will discourage anyone from going here.

I had a great visit with Service Advisor Collins. The technician was great, too, he was able to fix my vehicle when AAA could not fix the issue (not the vehicle is about 20 years old, classic age). I recently was in the market for a new car and went for a test drive at Fox Ford. After test driving the car, I told the salesman and the manager that I needed to discuss things with my husband before I signed paperwork. I took the information on the options for the car and discussed with my husband.A couple days later I contacted the same salesman and asked if the white 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid AWD was available. I was informed that it was already sold but a similar car could be acquired from another dealer if I was interested. I responded to the email that I would be interested and inquired what would be needed to make this happen. I never received any response from the salesman at that point. I contacted the person that arranged my initial test drive to say that I had asked about a transfer. She responded instantly apologizing for radio silence and that she would contact the manager. At this point, it went back to radio silence.I then resorted to Costco auto sales to help me out with the search. Costco connected to me to Wickstrom Ford in Barrington. Normally, I wouldnt like the trip to Barrington buy the car but their communication was far superior.I hate to move business out of the city but the employees clearly did not want a sale or assumed I wouldnt follow through. In an economy where most businesses are trying hard for sales, Im surprised Fox Ford would blow off a potential sale rather than talk about options.My advice... Dont waste your time... Even if the location is convenient. It will leave you annoyed and more stressed out in a situation that most people dont enjoy already.

Bought a car from them a few years back but the service is absolutely horrible even can’t even get an oil change when they were at their old location never had a problem with an oil change or repair they moved to this big monster dealership and they can’t get their service department to work correctly not even a quick change oil worst mistake they ever did I have to drive to a dealer in Indiana if you want your car fixed absolutely horrible service drove it in today for an oil change nobody in the waiting room man said two hours and I’m the only one there Jiffy Lube could do it in 15 minutes

I just bought a used SUV from Fox Ford and I was super happy with my experience there.  I did a bunch of research and some really deep dives into what I wanted in a vehicle. I was planning on just buying from one of the online services, but after hours and hours of being on the internet I just felt overwhelmed and like I wanted to talk to a real person.I decided to give these guys a try and I am glad I did. I emailed ahead of time and told them the vehicles I was interested in and set up an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no haggling, upselling, or long drawn out trips to talk to a manager.They simply clarified what I was looking for and what was important to me. They let me take a few cars out, we talked pros and cons and I made my decision.Throughout the whole process I felt like my needs were put first and I never felt pressured. I would highly recommend these guys. I worked with Daniel initially and then one of their finance people named Jon.  They both gave great serviceI have always dreaded car dealerships, but these guys definitely have changed my mind.

Disappointing service at this dealership. Spoke with Wade on the phone about what I needed to come in for and made an appointment. After all the paperwork I was told that that the person who signs off on it isn’t in and come back next week. The second time I’m told I’m missing something and we can’t move forward even though I specifically asked on the phone that day if it would be an issue since I could wait a day or two and get what was needed. I was told that I could bring an alternative document which I did and was turned away when I got to the dealership. The service center is actually great, the dealership not so much

UPDATE 10/9/2020:Since this occurred, I have spoken with Steve who helped me out very generously. Not only did he offer someone to pick up my car but also offered a free rental due to the previous experience. When the individual picked up my car I asked if I could get an oil change as well if they had time. I was fully ready to pay for the oil change as well. But later on I got a call and was told the oil change was also free. They also brought my car back to me. Even though the first experience was a bit rough I do got to say that Steve went above and beyond what I was expecting them to do. I really appreciate everything. Thank you so much from turning a bad experience into a great one.Previously: I recently received a recall letter and have been calling for 2 weeks to schedule an appointment which was unsuccessful. I tried calling almost every day for 2 weeks, but no one seems to answer the phone. I have left a few messages as well and received no call back. Finally, I decided to be self efficient and book an appointment online. When I showed up and gave the service guy my recall letter I was told they were unable to do it for it was too late in the day (the appointment was for 2:30) and that the technicians leave at 3. But in the appointment I booked I specifically stated in the other section that this was for a recall and explained in detail which recall it is was for. Youd think someone would check the appointments and see this conflicting issue. BEFORE I wasted my time driving there to be just sent back home. Long story short I was then told to make an appointment for the following week... But I already wasted a pto day trying to get this done. Im not going to waste another one on an unreliable service. To whom ever is reading this I highly recommend to NOT go to this dealer for the service center. The amount of lack of customer service is astonishing. And yes, we are in the middle of a pandemic and things are weird. But as they say at my job (which is 100% customer service) -- its been 6 months. Its no longer an excuse for poor customer service. Its way beyond the time to figure out what the new normal is for your business. If I didnt need this service, I would never go here.

Very disappointed with the customer service at this location.We first came here at the beginning of December to check the inventory of pre-owned vehicles and possibly do a test drive. After a short conversation with a sales person we decided to do a test drive of three cars he recommended. We only got to try one. We didt like it as it seemed to have a problem with breaks ad making weird noises (even though we were assured before the drive that the car was serviced by their team and is in great shape - so either it was a lie or a service department is not that great).We didnt get to test the second one because someone else was taking it for a test drive. The third test drive also failed as a sale person was not able to locate the vehicle. Seriously you dont know where your inventory is? After we were informed about that the sales person handed us a business card, told us to come back another day and rushed back inside. We never received any follow up call or email.After almost a month we decided to give it another try. This time we scheduled a test drive of a particular vehicle (test drive at home). We received a phone call same day from the dealer with a question if we will be paying cash or check on the day of the drive. It seemed kind of strange as we wanted to check the car first and then make a decision if we even want to buy it. On the day of a test drive we got an appointment confirmation only to get a phone call one hour later that unfortunately the car is not serviced yet and they have to cancel.Overall very disappointing experience and we dont recommend this dealership to anyone. Maybe that was all due to the fact we are interested in a pre-owned car not a new one so obviously we would spend less money at the dealership than a client shopping for a new car.We run a business ourselves but we treat every single client with respect regardless of their buying power and the type of service they pick.I would give zero stars if that was possible.

Went in for squeaking of front axle of my truck. Told me that the entire swing arm need to be replaced for 4000 after I paid them 200 to tell me the problem.Had a second opinion and told it was only a ball and socket plastic that needed to be replaced for 200. Total cost with labor 400 and truck runs perfect.I find it highly offensive and dishonest that they not only tried to Up sell me and misdiagnose but also charge me 180 just to tell me the problem with the truck.ADDENDUM: Received a call from manger and his team. Very apologetic and we discussed the issue was the lack of communication. They explained to me the issue. They were very accommodating and are currently making strides to make it right.

I bought my vehicle here a few years ago. A good experience during the purchase and when we bring it back for service. This visit, I had some regular service and an accessory that wasnt working but covered by my warranty. They ordered parts and I took the vehicle back a week later. Installing the new part and after working on my vehicle the entire day, they discovered a hidden short circuit that was burning out the new parts as they were installed. They fixed the short and installed the new parts - as I expected.
