Super helpful tire repair. They didn’t have the tires I needed in stock but we’re available nearby and they were in the shop within an hour or 2. I’m very satisfied and will use this shop again and again for all my tire/auto needs. Very helpful staff and affordable, fast service. Highly recommended.

I called a few places to see if I could get my exact tire replaced because I got a flat. This was the only place that was able to get it. They were very accommodating and communicative. I didn’t even have to be there when my car was towed and they made me feel very comfortable and confident about that. They also took care of everything quickly. Will be using them again.

The staff was very courteous and respectful. I dropped the car off about 12 pm they informed me it shouldnt take more than a few hours its is 4:30pm and the car wasnt even looked at. Maybe because it was only $25.00 bucks. Either way if they didnt want the $25 or didnt have the time to fix it they should have stated that at 12pm.

I had a screw lodged in my tire. They were able to quickly check to see if it penetrated beyond the tread and get me back on the road.

Marc and his team were great with helping me out! Found them through my warranty company and they are repair pal certified. Got my back brakes and rotors replaced on my Lincoln truck and they did a really good job and finished in a timely manner, the price was good and if you have a luxury vehicle I recommend taking your car or truck here!

I purchased a 2012 Fiat 500 last year from a private party. I needed a reliable shop that works on foreign vehicles. City Tire was my first choice because its in the neighborhood, and better priced than a Fiat dealer. They completed a full inspection, and was able to get back with me in a timely matter. We went over their findings, and collaborated on what was urgent and non urgent. They were very understanding of my needs and completed my repair request. I was very please with the work completed.Just recently went back to have other work serviced. I dropped off my Fiat on a Thursday. It was done the next day....The guys at Just Tire were understanding that I couldnt pick up til the following week. Had a huge nail in one of my tires and City Tire Corp took care of it quickly! Nice shop, easy to schedule an appointment, nice folks. Definitely recommend - especially to anyone in the Hyde Park area. They do tire, suspension work and oil changes (probably other stuff that I didnt notice as well.)

Mark and his team were very kind and courteous. Although he couldnt fix my car because of proprietary Ford software issues he took the time to explain it to me and didnt charge me for looking at it. I wish they could fix it because Id love to give him the business. Definitely recommend coming here to anyone else.

I had a wonderful experience at City Tire! I had to get my front brakes and rotors replaced due to wear and the technicians were able to get it done within a very short timeframe and the service charges and details were all explained to me patiently and thoroughly. They even followed up a day later to check if everything was up to standard. I dont think Ill be going anywhere else in Chicago for auto-work any time soon!

A very well run business. I was not sure whether I needed a tire repair or a replacement. Everything was explained to me in very clear terms, I made the decision to replace the tire, and the change was made quickly. I was treated courteously and professionally. City Tire contacted me the next day to ask if the work was completed to my satisfaction. It was!

I mentioned that i came from another shop and was told, “ take that somewhere else, we can’t help you here”. I was not going to compare prices or ask for anything lower, i just wanted to tell them what they said was wrong with my car. I went to City Tire Corp based on the recommendation of 2 different friends when my car needed some general repairs and was having break problems. The staff at City Tire Corp were extremely professional and they made all the necessary repairs in a timely manner for a great price. I am always nervous when going to a new mechanic but they did a great job. It has been 2 months and my car is running perfectly. I will definitely continue to use City Tire Corp. They also took appropriate safety precautions for COVID which I appreciated.

The staff is very friendly. They even made sure to send condolences about my father’s passing not only to me but my brother who is also a customer. It meant a lot. They did a fantastic job informing me of all my trucks issues and explaining what needed to be done and why. They did the work in a very timely manner.

I have been to City Tire twice now for brake related issues, and I will continue to go to them when I need service. My car brakes like a dream now, and while it took a little longer than expected, its only because they were very thorough. Their indoor waiting area is closed right now for the pandemic, but they have chairs set up outside for waiting and they regularly checked in with me to give me updates on the process. Overall, a very professional business run by competent and caring people.

These guys were very professional! I have not met them in person, but that did not matter. My car was towed there. They gave me an estimate and sent pictures of the damage. They did the work and quickly. They kept me abreast when it was taking longer than promised. I payed the bill via text. I was able to pick my car up after hours, without taking off work. I highly recommend them!

The shop is a hidden gem of the neighborhood. I went for a tire balance and oil change. Upon entering the shop you notice how neat and clean it is. The staff was very friendly and straight forward, no hidden fee’s or shady business. They have free water,juice, and coffee for the customers. They have a free old school video game to keep you preoccupied. The absolute best part was the massaging chairs that give you a full body massage!! While I sat for my car to be complete I was able to get a (Free) body massage while scrolling on my phone and relaxing. I love shops that don’t try to make you get extra work done. I recommend this auto shop. You will get your money’s worth..

When I call, I am often told that I can bring it in that day. They get the work done quickly, so I usually have it back same day; and if not, it is always the next day.I trust them to only do the work that is needed and have an understanding of what it takes to keep a car running long term. When I’ve asked questions about whether something needs to be done, they give me a straight answer — usually in my case that I can wait.Really love these guys! Hope you do too.

I first found City Tire when I decided I wanted winter tires on my car. They are able to store my tires for me which is a huge help. They have since become my regular mechanic— I go there for oil changes, had them replace my catalytic converter when it was stolen, and they replaced my starter when I needed a new one. Marc and Alan are both incredibly nice people and I feel like they’re genuinely looking out for me. I trust that they’re honest and not trying to rip me off. Highly recommend! AND, I’m a big fan of the massage chairs in the waiting area 😜

Overall, I had a great first experience. Friendly on the phone, professional, honest, and punctual.Long story: I wanted to get tires balanced. I called ahead, the guy on the phone was friendly and affable, and said I could just drive in for that.Drove in, they do no/limited-contact right now so I called, dropped the key in the box, and was told itd be an hour or so.Almost exactly 1 hour later, he called and asked if I just wanted new tires because the tread was pretty bad. I was short on money, so said I need to get them balanced first, and he said no problem.He called back, and had me go with the mechanic (also friendly/professional), who showed me that a tire was bulging and it was beyond balancing. (And yeah, that tire was messed up!)I was given a quote, and not even charged! Ill be back there, and to get my tires and probably get more.

Ive been coming here for years. Despite moving to Albany Park from Bridgeport a few months ago, I made the trip to City Tire.Even with the show room closed, service was efficient and friendly. I dropped my keys, took a walk in the old neighborhood, and my car was ready when expected. I appreciate their concern for staff and customers. I’ve been coming here for quite a few years. They are efficient professional and thorough! I’d give five stars except for the location which is difficult with CoVid to navigate. Had to use Lyft back and forth so that was okay but when things are “normal” they have a very nice waiting area comfortable and easy to use laptop to get things done while waiting and never too long of a wait. Also they supply photos to show why and what needs to be done. Nice job keep up the good work and will surely see you again.

It’s a friendly staff and they do good work. They communicate clearly. Create an accurate expectation in terms of time. I always walk away feeling like I’m not being nickle and dimed. Started going here in 2012 when I lived on the south side, and now that I’m up north I still do the drive down. There are mechanics all over the city, hundreds I’m sure between where I live and where their location is, but these guys are the best I’ve experienced! And I’ll keep taking my car here.

I had wheel rims replaced because of road damage. City Tire got that done be while I waited. The price was very fair. I really appreciate that they take covid-19 precautions very seriously, so I could take my car in without any undue risk.

I have been going to City Tire for close to 15 years now. I keep returning because I trust them and theyre very professional. Last week, I took my car in because I had a nail in my tire. I also knew I would need a new tire soon. Instead of just selling me a new tire, they let me know that they could repair the tire and that I could probably get a few more months out of it. Love city tire customer service. The guys at the front desk are awesome! The mechanics in the back are sweet. These are the ONLY mechanics in the city I trust to work on my car. I have always been pleased with the service at City Tire. The no contact service was great also. Instructions on what to do upon arrival were clear and I was able to quickly drop off my car. Per usual they provided a detailed report on my car via a text link and I was able to quickly let them know what additional services I wanted completed. They promptly texted me when my car was done with payment information and pick up was a snap. City Tires service continues to be great even during Covoid!

I am happy to write a positive review for City Tire. We have been going there for several years for our regular car maintenance. I think what I like best about them is that they are straightforward and honest, and they dont try to insist that you get unnecessary work done on your car. Most other places I have been to in the past would always come out holding up some supposedly faulty piece of equipment from my car telling me that I needed such-and-such replaced, and I was always wondering if I was being fleeced. This never happens at City Tire! On my most recent visit they found an oil leak that needed attention and even suggested that I see if the dealer would cover it under warranty. CT consulted with me by reviewing a repair that had supposedly been done by another dealer to fix the issue already. But they made a point at CT to make sure I didnt have to pay them to do the work if I didnt have to. And they followed up with me later to make sure the car was running well. Definitely recommend this shop!

My tire light popped on so I knew there was a problem. Took my car in and was told I needed 3new tires (It was time). There was a rebate going on if you bought 4 tires. Even though it was for 4, Mark still gave me the discount since I bought one tire earlier in the year. Mark at CityTire always takes care of me. I was running late to closing time and they waited for me. Inside my car was a brand new bottle of hand sanitizer! They are excellent at customer service. If you want professionalism and good quality, City Tire is the best to go!
