I own a Fiat and hence, have a lot of experience with various mechanics in town. After hearing all of the trouble I have had over the years, a co-worker told me about Bucaro and said they were THE PLACE I COULD TRUST with future repairs. Bucaro has exceeded my expectations every time-I am treated promptly and well, and their costs are very fair. I highly recommend them.

Really honest, professional and fast service! We bought a used 2017 Lincoln that had some problems. Took it here Wednesday, car was diagnosed, quoted and fixed by Thursday within 24 hours. They replaced all 4 brakes and rotors and ordered and replaced 2 tires. Will definitely be back. Fair price and great guys.

I read the reviews and Bucaro Brothers are all that and more. I had front and back breaks installed on my Audi and they finished on time and then one of the brothers proceeded to review the bill and work. Oh, and they checked my friends car who was having problems with a sensor on her Honda, they did it right there, customer service rocks! You’re the best Bucaro bros!

Brake job; Hyundai. Replace rotors and pads 2 axles for 25% less than dealer quote. In at 9 AM, call with quote at 10:45. Pick up in the afternoon. Just moved locally, so given the neighborhood location, I will be bringing them my service business moving forward!

This place is terrific! The team here couldn’t be friendlier or do better work. I’ve been going for 2 years and I’d only ever stop if I moved. They’re my choice over the dealer or anywhere else. If you’re looking at options, you can stop. This is the place.

Ive been using them since 2002 and have trusted them to repair and service my Corvettes and Range Rover Sport. They are professional, trustworthy, and always do a great job without trying to gouge you or charge for unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend Bucaro Brothers which is owned by Okan. There is a myth out there that you cannot trust your auto mechanic -- but you can definitely trust Okan and Bucaro Brothers. I have been going to them for over 10 years and time and again they demonstrate that they only do the work that is needed and nothing extra. Recently I got my annual check-up at the European dealership where I bought my car. And the pricing they were quoting vs. Bucaro was significantly higher. I trust Okan and his team and once you go to Bucaro you will keep coming back.

This place did a great job on my car. Brought mine in on Tuesday and they were quite busy (which is a sign of a good place), looked at it Wednesday and had it fixed and ready to go Thursday. Looks like i found my go-to auto shop in the city and will be coming back here the next time something needs to be fixed

The office seemed well organized and the administrator was very kind and professional. The shop was well maintained too. I felt the cost was fair. The diagnosis and repair was competed in a timely manner. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a genuine sense of hospitality which I much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this shop to others.

I went to and called several different shops to get assistance for an electric scooter which was in need of welding repair and everyone turned me down except for these exceptional guys at Bucaro Brothers. They were accommodating, professional, fast, kind, and downright wonderful people. I cant tell you how impressed I was and how different their approached was to my situation compared to others. The owner, Okan, took amazing care of us. I came to him after a poor experience at our Ford delearship and I am really glad we did. The service was very reasonably priced, very quick (same day), and I really felt comfortable and trusting of how to address the issues. I was taught early in life that you need to have a lawyer, a plumber and an auto mechanic that you can trust. I still havent found the lawyer and plumber but Bucaro Brothers are the mechanics I trust. I was referred to them by a friend I and I thank him often. My engine light went off twice and both times I took it to BB. Each time I took my car home feeling that they were honest and did a great job. Furthermore they did it for a fair price. I rarely write reviews but will for those companies I think deserve it. As for those people who wrote bad reviews because of a phone call... you definitely made a mistake because knowing a trustworthy auto mechanic is worth their weight in gold....

I heard about Bucaro Brothers from a friend and decided to take my car to them for my 100,000 mile service & oil change. I also thought that I might need my struts replaced and mentioned this going in. They called me within an hour to explain all the things they recommended I take care of and their price. I was actually a little surprised when they said that I could probably go another year on my struts before having to worry about them. I was impressed with their honest assessment and got my car back the same day. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Every time I have brought my car there it has been a positive experience. Theyre friendly, explain whats being fixed. When we first moved to Chicago we had to add a front license plate mount to our car, they turned it around quickly and even waived the cost, welcoming us to the city.

I took my car here and instead of telling me what was wrong they told me it would be 130 just to look at it. I took it to Lincoln Automotive instead who did not charge me to look at it and instead simply screwed on a few bolts tighter for less than half their price fixing the issue. Of course i expect to pay for a service but im not going to blindly pay for something when they cant even tell me what the issue is. Would have loved to support this business but unfortunately could not this time.

Let me tell you, these guys are legit. I havent been in a auto repair shop this down to earth in a while. I recommend you go here AND trust their opinion, theyre here to help you. Trust and integrity is what their after, not your money. Thanks again Okan.

Extremely rude would be an understatement, tried getting an update on a vehicle in to be looked at a full day after it was dropped off. Rude, extremely short, asked for a time frame and told me to have the car taken somewhere else. Exact reason why people in the automotive industry have a poor reputation. Absolutely zero customer service, wish I could do more to encourage people to avoid this location.

Thank you for fixing the 2003 Mazda van yet again! When Eleazar noticed that I didnt have the right sticker on the license, he kept the van parked in the garage after fixing it, so I wouldnt get a ticket on the street. How considerate is that?

Had good reviews online so I decided to try it. Went in with a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation and they had me ready in about an hour. Right as they were going to drive my car around a brake line busted. Turns out I had 2 more that were rusted pretty bad and needed to be replaced soon. They told me theyd fix the busted one for free, since it happened in house, which I thought was great. I left the car and picked it up the next afternoon with all 3 fixed and ready to go. Felt the price was fair and they did a good job.

ABOVE AND BEYOND! I had an AC evaporator hose leaking for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and instead of charging me ~$1000 for all of the labor, they found a more efficient way at 1/4 the cost! Stand up place, will definitely be going there with any other vehicle issues.

Okan was able to put a new motor in on time as promised when a botched oil change by an oil lube center went bad. Even fit in a brake repair on our request and handled the payment from the responsible party without needing to get us involved. Good communication throughout the process.

I wouldnt take my 67 mustang to anyone else! The garage is clean and their skills span from classic american to new luxury cars. The bosses treat their staff well and as a result everyone is helpful and professional. Highly recommended for their honest, fair and excellent service!

Unbelievably great!!! No B.S.Follow up call to make sure youre happy. I came in for shocks on a 2012 Altima. Not only was i quoted half of pep boys i was told i did not need shocks. It was a trunk issue they quickly remedied.Love this shop!!!!

Fair prices good service

Was paranoid about some potential transmission or engine trouble, and was recommended this place by Cassidy (another great tire and battery shop). The staff was so nice and, after test driving my car, concluded nothing needed to be fixed--just a suggestion to put in some STP. No charge to look at the car, just an honest opinion. Unfortunately, they dont take appointments (first come, first serve), so get there early. Have been telling everyone about this place--the best auto care people Ive ever dealt with. Will be back next time I need any maintenance.

His quotes are always on par with that of the competition, and recommendations on the work thats required compared to the work that isnt quite necessary is reliable and appreciated. My daughter away from home attending Loyola University and her car broke down on Lakeshore Dr. After reading the reviews and checking BBB I chose this shop.The team there took a quick look at it and called me right away giving me a choice to repair it or pick it up. They removed the upper timing belt inspection cover and saw the belt was coming apart, then they bore-scoped the cylinder and saw bent valves. This was major and I had a shop back home that did related work on it a month earlier so I picked it up.The car had to sit there for 4 days, they helped me load it and showed me pictures of the internal damage and so on...when I asked for the bill they said no charge, glad to help a starving student and her step-dad!I appreciated the straight forward tell it like it is, no fluff or selling me on things I don’t really need (like tear it down to see the problem) and where a handshake still means something in the auto repair industry.The shop could have easily charged me storage, diagnostic fee and like every other shop you go to a flat charge for environmental reclamation whether or not any grease or oil was used.This is now our go-to shop because they do business the old fashion way where it matters, especially in a time where technicians are incentivized to sell more parts abusing the term “preventative”.Thanks, Guys! I saw the good reviews online and decided to patronize this place. I just called to see if i could bring in my car for an oil change, and the call axperience was awful. First off, he put me on hold for over 6mins, and then when he finally responded, he was really rude and told me i had to drop my car because he couldnt do the oil change servicing today. He wasnt even courteous at all and was in such a hurry to end the call.
