In the many years of driving, I have never had to use roadside assistance. Today for whatever crazy reason I woke up to 2 flat tires, front and back tires on the passenger side. My plan was to remove the 2 tires to take them to the tire repair shop myself. I had such a difficult time removing the tires so after many attempts and the weather getting worse I finally decided to call roadside assistance. I was very clear that I had 2 flat tires on the same side and I was asked if I had jack stands which I said I did. I was relieved when they said that they will send someone to remove both tires. After a couple of hours, help finally arrived but instead of removing the tires, I was given advice and about filing a police report and that it would be best to call a tow truck. All I wanted were my tires removed but he insisted that a tow would be best and went ahead and submitted a request for a tow. Fine, order the tow... all I need are new tires before the shop closes. I then get a call from the roadside assistance stating that since I could only use the roadside assistance once during a contract I would have to pay out of pocket for the tow. They stated since the technician came out it was technically considered a service even though he didnt do anything but look at my tires. The tow was not my idea at all, I wanted the service I requested but I guess the technician didnt want to do it and I was trying to explain this to the representative but that went no where.Now, I call Insure on the Spot to of course complain and tell them how awful their roadside assistance service and policy is and to see if they can resolve my issue. I was told by the representative that all managers were currently busy and that she would take down my information to have someone give me a call back and of course no one called me back. This is what I get for going with a company that is better known for their cheaper prices then their actual service. Yup definitely done with this company and Im just gonna have to pay extra for real coverage with a better company.

I was insured with them and got into an accident on April 6 After 2 months of waiting for them to fix my car They didn’t and when I cancelled my insurance with them to go somewhere., they sent me a mail saying since I cancelled my policy they can’t fix my car. They are real fraud.

Always sending e-mails saying payment due with wrong customer. Always accepting money and then sending E-mails saying payment due when you already has it. I will no longer be a customer 7 months of nonsense is enough.

After receiving all of the information they required in a timely manner, they came up with a lame excuse as to why they denied my legitimate claim after still being with them for a long time & all monthly payments were made. I got an accident last month and I talk to my lawyer and also my insurance and after a few weeks when I need to get my claims ( I got a letter from them and it said that I have a FAILED TO DISCLOSE MY PAST ACCIDENT) which is NOT TRUE. I’m not sure where they get that information. And I just call my PAST INSURANCE AND TO TALK THEM IF I HAVE A ACCIDENT ON THAT YEAR AND MONTH AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I DONT HAVE A RECORD FOR ACCIDENT.( that month and year)And now this company they took my CLAIM. And when I go back with this insurance company and I just talk to michelle. She’s so rude and yelling at me and she transfer me into another line which is no one can answer it and I called them like 10x and nobodys answering. Worse service ever!I went over to request a cancellation my insurance like a month ago and just recibe a email saying my payment is past due? Like how? I called took an 1 hour to answer and find out what happened to my sheet I sign in person of my cancellation and another min of hold and just wasted of time so they can tell me they can’t find it or they lost it. I purchased a policy today with them. I was at the dealership, excited I just bought a car and after declining the salesman and his insurance, I went with insure on the spot. I purchased a full coverage policy for my new car, I needed insurance to pull of the lot. After purchasing the product i was then denied on repeated occasions my policy. I could not believe it, I called in 6 times, each time having to verify everything and give the same information and they did not send me my policy. After the 3rd call they would just put me on hold over and over. The dealer over heard the situation and gave me a 3 day rider because he felt bad for me and so i could go home after being there a good part of the day. Im a disabled vet with PTSD who doesnt handle malignant intent to upset me very well. I imagine this happens on Saturday because management is not there. Michael and Johanna, this is what your employees do on Saturdays. This company has lost my business and that of the people I have refereed through the years. Disgraceful, at this time I have yet to receive my policy.

I wish I could add 1/2 a star! Usually when I call in for roadside assistance the customer service is adequate but today I had the worst experience yet. One of the guys was very rude from the start and then tried to make me pay when I have full coverage. He hung up on me when I said I shouldn’t have to pay and then I had to call back and then the CSR when I called back was just as rude! They hire anybody to answer those phones. Couldn’t be more disappointed.

I had terrible experience with this insurance. I wouldnt recommend them!I was involved in an accident, and so far its nobodys fault. I have a brand new Nissan, only 4000 miles on it. I took my car to Nissan to be fixed, but they told me I dont have the right to choose the shop, that I have to go to their preferred shop! Axle was broken, it took 6 weeks to get fixed, and of course they didnt pay rent a car. They were extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone, but thats only when they would answer it.They told me, that I will pay $450 of my deductible, that $50 is going to be on them, but they didnt say why. Two weeks after I get a phone call from the shop, they were asking me if I wanted my bumper to be fixed, because they are not paying for it, and thats why those $50 were on them.This is NOT cheaper option!

The place is like have trust issue. The open counters that i know from this company in suburbs have replaced it with thick glass mirrors. I cud barely hear the clerk. Then the blinds were so poor that it let the sun in and it was trapped inside roasting the clients or customers in the process. The clerks were nowhere to be found once u enter. I wish they can do better and get rid off their dividing mirrors and get a better blinds to block the sunlight.

Low cost insurance which offers a lot more than the others for your money. Never had to use them for an accident and hope I never will. You do have to watch them though because they will try to over charge you if you dont pay attention to your bill. Plus I never understood how an insurance company can sell anyone insurance that dont doesnt have a valid drivers license, but they do.

Called for a free quote to renew my insurance, not only was the woman rude but she hung up when i mentioned her quote sounding a bit high. (Mind you i was respectful on the phone and was going to call back and proceed if i didnt find any better options) . Extremely rude and unprofessional .. Called back and waited forever to speak to a manager to inform them and finally i get told that she was sorry and will speak to the woman for the full story. Full story? The woman hung up on a customer with a clean driving record and continued her day like nothing! This place is a joke! Thankfully i went elsewhere and was treated with the respect i deserved!

Dont believe on this company. Is been over a year and they couldnt reimburse my deductible. Another driver with state farm insurance hit my wifes car and they denied to take the fault even though the police report stated that it was the other driver fault. Insure on the spot told me if i want my car fix i had to pay out of my pocket or wait until the got an answer from state farm insurance it was a nightmare after 3 months of back and forth my car finally got fixed. This is an insurance agency they look for small insurance companies that can offer cheaper or low cost insurance, I didn’t know that at first but this is my first try with this company. So far I have been hearing couple of different information from 2-3 people I spoke with from their end. I have full coverage for my car but car rental service wasn’t included, I thought the lady who gave me the quote already has included that but then she didn’t. Also you pay extra if pay online, thru phone or even CS even if you pay on time.. The staff who processed my payment yesterday at office wasn’t so accommodating she was just saying I can give you anew quote for blah blah blah.. It’s all about money of course. Well we shall see if I’ll keep them for my renewal in next few months..

Buyer beware: this is not an insurance company but an insurance agency that sells insurance for substandard insurance companies that horribly handle claims. While cheap, this company is not worth the headaches that will occur once you actually need them.

I purchased a car recently and through a dealership, and I got insurance through this company. It started with the high rates for full coverage(I have a spotless record) : $200 dollars when many other insurance companies Ive talked to were averaging $50 dollars cheaper. Then, hidden fees came up, such as $31 dollars to change my address, and a $20 dollar late fee after six days (though their packet states after 7 days). I do not recommend them.

This company is not honest with you .make sure to whom are you talking remember his or her name plus managers name at the time of calling.i cancelled my policy on march 6th and money was refunded on my account since i paid full at the beginning .by the time they told me they will send refund by check after almost 6 month when i called she told me no refund because you did not send letter after cancellation!!!!!!!.day after that i called american heartland they mentioned your money was refunded to insure on the spot then i called them again and finally they accept to give my money by check and when i got check the money was less than expected and they to persuade me they deduct from whole and i told this is miscalculation she denied to accept and said stay on the line and after 5 min said this is finance charge when i told i paid in whole she said this is money we got from company she wouldnt let me talk to manager and try to explain their miscalculation again and again.i insisted talk to manager and finally manager said there is difference because of adding new driver later(another interesting reason plus those i mentioned before) .However they confirmed adding driver with no additional cost when they added driver.they bombarded me with several reasons that even none of them had no logical explanation behind themselves.if you want put yourself between wall and rocks go work with them but no complain about honesty and trust!.i was lucky to get my money which was credit to them and they wont give to me back. you might be know manager answer it was .THIS IS WHAT IS IT such a nice answer from her.

I pay 142$ month for Insurance. After 5months i paid 187$ for restatement fee. Just overall bad insurance!!! If your car needs to be fix they send it to the cheapest autoshop!! Bad customer service!!! One Manager name Becky, She never give you a call back!! They transfer you about 6six times just to get to bottom of things!! While theyre quick to take your money for your insurance, they move at an extremely glacial pace for everything else! Also, keep a close eye on what youre being charged for, or if youre due a refund (as was my case).After making me travel to their location on Elston (even though there was one located less than 10 minutes from my home!), to pick up a refund check (even though I originally paid by credit card, over the phone), I noticed, upon arrival, they shorted me by about $93 !!!! So when I brought it to the attention of the cashier, she did notify their corporate office, and they confirmed that I, indeed, was shorted. Initially, her onsite supervisor informed her to have me come back later in the day, to pick up the difference, but I told her about the inconvenience this has caused me. It wasnt until I threatened to call corporate and report them to a manager, that I was told they could miraculously produce a check, on the spot (no pun intended) for the shorted amount.Yes, their rates are lower than most, but their customer service is also lower than most, as well...so you get what you pay for. And they dont offer GAP insurance either, which was ANOTHER inconvenience, as I had to go w/ a second company!

Like anywhere else, they WILL try deny you on the spot, but for me its been okay so far sometimes u will get a good one,sometimes u will get a f@#$ing idiot on other line but its up to u .. I am a brand new customer and was referred to this place by my mom. According to my mom, she said she only pays less than $100..only for liability, not full coverage. Since I am a younger, female driver and I pay more for insurance than older people.. I thought it would be a good idea to try Insure on the Spot because she pays so little..which is shocking because of her driving record. My mother has SR22 and on top of that a few car accidents. After calling..I was a little displeased.. only to find out I had to pay 150$ a month for NO FULL COVERAGE for a vehicle that isnt expensive or new. On top of that, I havent been in any car accidents and no crazy tickets. I decided to go with this company only because my previous insurance expired and this insurance was 20$less than my last one. So the biggest reason why I have decided to make a review was actually my problem with the girls in the front who work customer service. I came in the next day to get my printed insurance cards. The two ladies were mad about something in their personal life and I heard the girl use the F word not once, but several times and including the B word. I was shocked because I was sitting and waiting and she wasnt even trying to hide it. It is SUPPPER UNPROFFESIONAL and embarrasing! What kind of women talk like that in the workplace.. I hope the manager can please retrain the employees on behavior as what I saw was unacceptable. I have never, ever been somewhere where employees were dropping such words like that.

One of their customers rear-ended my Ford Edge on June 26. His drivers license was revoked. After a very long wait on hold, Miguel told me that Mr. Olvero was not insured with On The Spit at the time of the accident. He wouldnt give me any other information, instead telling me to turn it in to my own insurance company. Anybody who deals with this fly-by-night company should be arrested for stupidity. They have on-way pockets, collecting your dollars but finding ways to deny claims. Dont waste your premium money here.
