Our group traveled to Chicago to celebrate our company’s anniversary. We hired Chicago Corporate Photography & Video to photograph our dinner cruise event on the Anita Dee II. Jimmy Fishbein was absolutely great to work with throughout the entire process! He was challenged with the job to wrangle 65 employees on the top deck for a group photo. He was determined position us perfectly with the Chicago skyline in the background and also captured many great candid shots. Jimmy Fishbein was very reassuring on the phone. His staff was very helpful and his website showed some professional looking work. I hired him and his videographer to take photos and videos at a McCormick center trade show.In our agreement, I was asking for as much good content as I can get from the two days that they would be there. I also prepared a list of 50 manufacturers who would have booths at the show complete with names and contact info. Each booth had between 10 and 50 items displayed. Jimmy and his team were instructed that they can shoot up to five different images of each item. Even if things didnt go as smoothly as anticipated, I was expecting a few thousand files.What I received was:866 photos of which only 435 were of use. The rest were mostly duplicates or non-product images which were useless to us. Some were shot from a distance or simply not of the quality I would have expected. For example, the Waring booth had at least 30 items on display. Why were only around 4 photographed and even then, not from multiple angles.The videos were better but here too we received far less useable material than was anticipated.On a final note, I asked that the film clips and images be named with the make and model numbers of the products so that my staff would easily be able to post them near the correct items on our website. Even if they couldnt get the exact model numbers, we requested that the files be named with the manufacturers name and product type. We received a large amount of these image/video files with none of these identifiers.We spent an inordinate amount of time in house trying to make the most of what we received.

I attended Jetta Bates Vasilatos (outstanding) Elevate event on January 31st, 2018, and Jimmy Fishbein -- Owner of Chicago Corporate Photography and Video -- was the headshot photographer. I personally am a management consultant, but do side gigs in event photography, so I was very curious about the photographer and the setup. It was all extremely professional and literally by the numbers. Jimmy had the classic three-point lighting setup, everything was metered, and ultra high-end professional lighting equipment. Lets just say Jimmy was not working with your basic speedlights. Jimmy himself was very friendly, professional, efficient, and flexible. He had to take a large number of photos with a large number of people -- that is a LOT harder than it looks! I browsed the entire gallery and Jimmy did a consistently marvelous job in working with a diverse group of people. Lastly, Jimmy did a post-process for me and his turnaround was lighting fast.
