Honestly,the person who answered the phone is not professional, and does not give proper information, being blunt and poor etiquette, there isnt any legal advice, very rude Ill mannered, very dimmissive, though the answering service have a much more proper and professional demeanor. My family has called Illinois Lawyers twice. The first time was for a personal injury case and they connected me with an attorney I thought was amazing and got me the result I was hoping for. The second time I called was regarding a business issue and Mike was very straight forward and honest telling me he didnt think I had a case worth pursuing. I really appreciated the fact that he did not string me along into thinking I had a case just to get a paycheck. I have recommended Illinois Lawyers to a few friends and they have told me they were grateful for the introduction.

Mike, the guy who called me back for my initial consultation, was incredibly rude and dismissive. It was surprising because according to the reviews hes supposed to patient and helpful...Then I took a closer look and almost all of the good reviews were written around 11 months ago, from users whose only reviews were for Illinois Lawyers and Law Offices of Michael J. Helfand LLC. It makes one question the authenticity of such reviews

This place is just ludicrous. I called them and Mike who answered the phone couldnt even let me finish a sentence. He kept rudely interrupting me literally every 20 seconds. We talked for less than 3 min, and most of the time he was talking. How can one make an assessment in 3 min?If you dont want to have your time wasted then say it upfront mate, and charge for a proper consultation in your office. Dont shout in my ear as I am trying to string together a sentence.STAY AWAY from Mike and get yourselves a serious, professional and articulate lawyer.

Was disappointed to find out this is not a real law firm, just a referral service. Also, called the number and they are just downright rude, when I asked a legal questions they almost seemed insulted. Not good! I dug a little deeper I figured out this simply is not the route to go.

I do not recommend these guys! The guy was rude, and combative on the phone in the initial conversation even though i was calling him for advice.. I felt disrespected, go somewhere else!!!!
