If I could give them negative stars, I would. By far the worst airline I have ever encountered. Spirit airlines provides better customer service. I have been trying to speak to someone for over two months regarding my ticket refund and the only way you can contact someone is via email. No one responds and if you disagree with them, they do not respond. I purchased a business ticket for the ability to cancel and rebook my ticket. I had a medical concern, provided a doctors note and still no help. Their policy states that if you fly business or have a medically related issue, then you are entitled to a refund. I have met two separate requirements for a refund and they still have refused my refund. The worst was when their supervisor America Mateos tried to allege I had not purchased a business ticket. WHAT! Not only is Aeromexico stealing my money but also lying. UNBELIEVABLE. I filed a claim with BBB and they even stated I should go after them in court in Harris County.

I recently travel to Mexico and was very worry about the safety and cleaning in the airplanes. I flew down with United and thought they did a pretty good job on making the flights safe and clean to protect us from Covid, But on my way back to the USA with Aeromexico I was impressed by the cleanliness and the efforts from the crew to keep customers with social distance, bathrooms were sanitized every hour, making sure passengers were wearing masks at all times and not standing in the aisle. Felt pretty safe with Aeromexico.

Great price. Easy check-in. Helpful and accommodating staff. Liked the food. Appreciated the in-flight entertainment (movie, TV, and music options). Thankful they provide blankets, for those of us that get cold easily. This was my first time flying AeroMexico, and I will definitely be using them again. Enjoyable travel experience.

Today we called and were fortunate to have our call answered by Agent #4YQ, Louis Eduardo Soto. We had a bit of a complicated request and Louis was patient, courteous, and went above and beyond to assist us with our travel plans. He is a true asset to your airline. Prior to today, I had phoned three times over the weekend, I had to wait quite a long time and when the two agents that I did get through to in separate calls were trying to help me, the calls were disconnected. I had decided to try to call during the week, and I am so glad that I was fortunate enough to have Agent Soto help me today. Keep up the great work Eduardo!

This was my first flight with Aeromexico and I was pleasantly surprised. The plane was clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating in both Spanish and English. The on-board snacks and meal were offered free with the flight. Immediate content available on the monitors was relatively current and I was able to find something I could enjoy for the flight. At one point using the restroom which was also clean and comfortable. Overall and enjoyable flight.

I recently booked a flight for my grandma who happens to have a hard time walking on her own. This has not been the first time flying with the airline, when booking her flight I always ask for wheelchair assistance. Once we arrived at the kiosk to check in her bags, the rep stated that she couldn’t board the flight. We were appalled, she stated if my grandma couldn’t fend for herself she was not allow to board, in order for her to board the flight she needed someone to fly with her. They gave us two options which was either cancel the flight or find a random volunteer to help her board. The rep called the manager or the supervisor, who was not friendly or helpful. I was left speechless, I couldn’t believe their poor treatment. My grandma needed to depart from the country due to her visa, if she didn’t have a time frame on her visa I would have cancel her flight. We had no option then to ask a random person to help her to the gate. Luckily there are good people in this world and a young man and a older woman volunteer to assist my grandma to her gate. We were so thankful for their generosity. In regards of Aeroméxico They should be a shame of how they treat the elderly community, O’Hare has a company called prospect that assist elderly people to their gate, I understand it can get hectic at the airport, I worked for united airlines, but Aeroméxico should have used their tools to help and not leave us to fend for ourselves. Needless to say, shame on their staff, they need a better system in tact.

Aeromexico ruined our family vacation. I have never been so disappointed and frustrated with any airline, as I was today with Aeromexico. I travel pretty often and today I had the worst experience of my life! The terrible customer service and lack of empathy of the employees was beyond words. A malfunction in Aeromexico’s app (which I used to check-in the night prior to our flight) left us stranded in Mexico with our 3yr and 8yr old boys even though we were in the airport 2 hours before our flight! When I tried to access our boarding passes at security the app wouldn’t work. I was asked to get the passes printed at the desk. After waiting in line for more than 30 min. we got to the front counter and we were told it was too late and that we couldn’t get out tickets printed. I explained what happened and hey said that any issues with the app was not their problem. That I needed to be there 3hrs prior to get my boarding pass printed! We were brush off by multiple employees and requested to talk to the manager, she refused to help us, she was rude and mean told us to take it up with the airline. I then called the airline, they also said they were not responsible for the app and that I would have to pay for a different flight since o was too late! Mind you this was still an hour before our flight took off, the flight hadn’t even boarded! I begged for them to print my boarding passes that we had been traveling for 6 hrs by road to make our flight, but they did not care! When I asked when the next available flight would be they said until July 11th, 2days from today! Needless to say they did not let us through and we missed our flight. I spent $1,600 for a flight back home through a different airline. Never again will book with Aeromexico!

I just flew Aeroméxico from ORD to and from Costa Rica and had no issues. It’s just like any other airline. In addition they served meals both flights whereas people I met flying United and southwest just got some peanuts and a soft drink

Horrible devious company. When you try to book online you see a lower price. The problem comes when you try to book online it won’t allowed you and says you need to call to book. Once you call you are charged a convenience fee. A fee that can easily be avoided by letting you book online. So in other words they purposely won’t process a payment online so that you call them and get charged extra fees which are non refundable by the way. Call your bank and cancel the payment, because this is a scheme. It bothers me so much when companies like this are devious and not honest which will gain them a buck but reputation is the key and your company has gained bad reputation. Never ever book with AEROMEXICO

Unprofessional staff, I bought two tickets from Chicago city,to my parents to flight from Mexico city to Chicago, When they arrived at the airport, the rude lady on the front desk told them that they cant have the tickets unless the person who bought the tickets and the credit card used to made the transaction were present, I made the transaction from Chicago!! how in the world could have been there,my mom was desperate they didnt have enough money to buy the tickets again but the airline didnt even care about it, They were mean,rude, I would never buy a ticket from this company again.I do apologize for my terrible English but please be careful I will never wish to others what happened to us.

This is hands down one of the worst airlines I have ever taken. Flew into mexico city and landed just to wait another 45 minutes. On top of that, we were supposed to take a connecting flight that we later found out was also delayed 3 hrs. The airplanes are in very poor condition and run down. The inside is crusty and the pillow they gave me was covered in gross hair and my seat was full of crumbs. 0/10 would recommend taking this joke of an airlines. Pay the little bit more to take a better flight.

Was a little disappointed when booking an emergency flight. It took me over 2 hrs. Decline both of my credit cards to the point that both credit cards got locked. Called directly and not very helpful, That the flight price had changed from $300 to $680. So I ended calling CheapOair, who worked with me from beginning to end kept me on the line until I confirmed tgat my booking was correct and booked the same flight with Aeromexico for $354.00. The sad part is that i often recommend this airline.Im giving 2 stars because of the great customer service I received from attendants service at the airport. I hope next time is much better and reliable.

They stole stuff from my suitcase from my flight Chicago to Mexico. I complained and they gave me a voucher to use in another flight. Which it was less money from the things they stole. When I tried to use the voucher, they made me pay with credit card. They did not want to use all the money available in the vauchet. Why would I have to pay from my own money when they gave me the vaucher because they stole from me? The voucher expires this month, so I would not be able to use the rest of the money. They also charged me for a “kit” I was never informed. In short they stole from my suitcase and made me pay for it.

The worst customer service I have dealt with in 30 years. I have never had an experience like this one. We lost our flight, due to they closed the gates an hour early. Then they give you wrong information, the supervisor didnt attend to us or find a solution to anything. Customer service over the phone,Now they dont even want to refund or reschedule other flights so we can get our moneys worth. THEN They blocked my account. Now they want us to pay penalty fees. This isnt the law. I lost more than $5,000, in flights. I alway fly out. Never have I been treated like garbage ever. And I was with my disabled child. No sympathy what so ever. MY PRIVACY WAS INVADED AND I WAS ROBBED BY AEROMEXICO LITERALLY!!!!The WORST experience I’ve had. I arrived to GDL from ORD early morning on June 4, 2019 on flight 661. I go get my suitcase and it’s not going through the belt so I patiently waited until the belt was stopped, I get nothing. I went to the Aeromexico “help desk” to see what was going on. The man claimed my suitcase was left in Chicago after I paid 30 dollars for my piece. How careless and irresponsible for Aeromexico to do that. Then he had me fill out a paper asking where they should drop it off the next day, to my surprise it was dropped off a few hours later. I look at my suit case and it had a different zip tie so I opened it and my clothes and necessities were scattered all over and I noticed 300 DOLLARS worth of cosmetics and my deodorant were missing! I BEEN ROBBED!! I calmly called customer service to see what they could do. The man on the phone said that we needed to fill out a claim form so I gave him all my information and then tells me there’s nothing Aeromexico could do because cosmetics are not “necessities” and hangs up. Like are you serious?! So Aeromexico hires thieves and it’s okay for them to STEAL anything as long as they aren’t “necessities”!?!?!?I also tried contacting them on their Facebook page. Of course I left a bad review, they got back to me but said nothing could be done. Then my comments were deleted and I was blocked from the page! How childish! They can’t take responsibility for their own actions and try to hide it!

Unhelpful staff at the counters. I literally ran to catch a flight and I tried to checkin 24 hours before. I got to the counter to get tma boarding pass and I got passed around, which is fine if their app would be clear on the timelines. Also, the last agent sarcastically asked me if I just checked in. I literally could have made that flight.Called their help number 2 times. They sounded so quiet and faraway that I had to ask then to repeat 3 to 4 times each question. I could not hear them. Then right when I thought I could move forward, I had to wait until the flight actually departed before I could change.So I waited until 3:40. I called back and i find their change fee is $200 ish and their customer service fee is $300 ish. And the only other option was a midnight flight. So I told them I would call back and search another airline.

This was the absolute worst airline experience I have ever had. I was traveling with a group of four, and one of us was running late due to his train being delayed, so three of us went through security and waited. When our friend showed up 58 minutes before boarding, he was told he was too late to check in and they would not let him in! We sat at that gate for an hour waiting to board and asked multiple times but they would not let him through, and wouldnt even explain why other than to say they dont accept anyone within an hour of boarding! Who does that!? He had to spend $1,000 on a ticket to take the midnight flight out to meet up with us.I would rather drive to Mexico from Chicago than fly on this airline again.

PLEASE DO NOT FLY AEROMEXICO! I was on flight 660 from GDL to ORD on January 13, 2018. When we arrived home to Chicago my kother and I opened our suitcases and found out that a lot of our personal items had been stolen. We called the customer service number which did not help, they have a horrible customer service. When I finally got a person to answer me, they told me that I had to go back to ohare to make a claim. When I got to Ohare the lady that was helping me said that there was nothing that could be done? This just seems crazy to me that an airline this big, does absolutely nothing to help their customers my family will never fly this airline again and I recommend you to don’t either.

We had the worst experience in Auromexico airline, from loosing our flight and have to pay for another flight in Mexico city to getting my luggage lost on Chicago OHare airport and having trouble checking in on our way to mexico and also our return in Durango mexico. The staff is not well trained, I had the worst lady at the mexico gate with hard attatude and not willling to help at all just evil and no customer service at all. I will not fly with this airline again. I put one star and is only for the flight attandants that we had no problems with. I will use Volaris, American or United next time.

No customer service whatsoever. They lost my son’s bag between Mexico City and Chicago O’Hare. The 800 number had him on hold for 30 min then he was told to use an email. The email was answered by a bot, then no response. A second email got another bot response. The messenger “agent” was a bot. We finally found a number on a massive complaint forum (that was a clue) and called twice. A representative said they would check and call back. They didn’t. This happened twice. Now the number rolls to a voicemail inbox that is full. Three days and counting and no luggage. Oh and the representative said if they found the bag it would take them four days to get it to us. So my son had to buy clothes and toiletries. This is seriously messed up and they don’t care.

The entire airport is functioning perfectly fine but aero Mexico crew arrived hours late then had to wait hours for the deicing engineer to arrive then the plane still wasnt decided for another hour. The entire airport was otherwise running on time. Aero mexico doesnt care about your time.
