When I learned that that the house fire down the street was caused by a lint filled dryer vent I got very nervous. I called Abbott Air Duct for dryer vent cleaning. They were great. The technician showed up the next day and worked from outside and inside and removed a pile of old lint. I will never let it go that long again. It was so reasonable I will have it done every year.
