I dont know anything about this company at all except that this driver pulled up right in front of the docks so as to make it difficult for others to back in to load. He went and checked in and is still sitting right in front of the docks. There is a 3 acre lot on both sides to park and plenty of room.Not professional at all.He was still in the exact same place an hour later.In reply to owner,It is not my job to tell your drivers how to have common sense or courtesy. The only reason youd have written back what you did was knowing that had I said something your driver wouldve been offended and one or both of us would be in jail. Wouldnt it be easier to just tell your drivers the simplest thing is to just pay attention. Look around. Dont do things you wouldnt want done to you.If it were me Id just tell the driver to look around and see if there is a place to park that doesnt hinder progress but thats me. Ive only been doing this for 25 years.Another thing. I didnt say you were only worth one star as a company. I stated that I dont know anything about this company except this one incident. Now I have 2 incidents to warrant a low review. For the fact that you did respond, I will say 2 stars because the management payed attention enough to reply. Only 2 because you are wrong in that it isnt my place to tell YOUR employees how to do their job. It is yours.

I have been driving since 1996 and I have had my share of trucking companies. This company by far is the best I ever worked for. The equipment is new, the staff are so nice its unbelievable. The pay is top of the line, you never sit and wait for loads. I love it here and will probably retire here. There is a driver advocate name Bailey who will fix any problem you have , yes any problem. ..........if you want the best then here it is.

I want to let everyone know that HMD is the best company I have ever drove for period. Consistent miles along with top of the line equipment. I also recently had a family medical Emergency with 1 of my little girls, I was 750miles from home and it was midnight also I was loaded and out of running time. I called dispatch and in 5min I was told to start my truck and head to a trailer drop point and then head home. Really only 5min and I was on my way to my little baby girl, once I was home they never once bugged me about getting back to work they just left me alone and let me take care of my family. They did check on how my daughter was doing everyday. So if you want to run miles and work for a company that actually cares about you then give HMD a call. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

ABSOLUTELY loved working for this company. Dispatch was awesome. They work with you. Great dedication for teams. We got home on time every time. Even in an emergency they were able to get me home and ask how I was doing with what was going on. Everyone in the office was amazing. Very fair with pay. Great up keep of all trucks. We hated to leave but had to for family reasons. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Challenging and well paid. The managers are awesome. The truck is also equipped with optional camera. It is active only as long as the truck is moving. Top and experienced drivers make 2-3k$ weekly.

I have been with Hmd for maybe a year now and the experience has been absolutely amazing! I’ve never worked for a more Cooperative company. Everything here has been fair. The dispatchers treat you well as if you are more of a partner of the company instead of a employee. The staff have all been very great to work alongside including the mechanics which do a very great job with maintenance of our vehicles and also when there is an issue they are very efficient with getting everything functioning correctly again. Most important they care about what the driver thinks, feels, and needs and does everything in their power to make us feel we matter here at HMD! I have also met the owner and he’s nothing like what you’d expect an owner to be like. He is very down to earth! I haven’t had many problems here but the few I did they were quickly resolved. No companies perfect but HMD is 😌. Think I’m lying, come give them a try yourself!

If you want to work for a company where the staff and owners want to see you achieve your dreams and goals HMD is the place. The equipment is fairly new, and well maintained. Safety has never been issue with me. The money is good either for beginner or experienced driver and necessarily want to note I have never waited for a load.

Let me start by saying we have been to alot of companies over the past years. Recruiters tell you what you want to hear to get you in the door.... not here, everything that was told to us by the recruiter has happened. They have exceeded our expectations. Any issues we have are immediately addressed! It is great knowing that people have your back. We have never had to wait longer than about 10 minutes for responses from dispatch even on the weekends! We are not numbers here. The equipment is essentially brand new. They keep it maintained properly and we have not had an hassle getting things fixed like at other companies.

Theyre a good company to work for except the 1099 I dont like the way they treated me Eddie repair shop took over 1500$ from me for something that happens in my absence they say I didnt took pictures of the previous truck that was taken to the dealership for repairs so any damages to it was my fault the air deflector was damaged and I was charged.

One of the best companies to work for. Top pay and get you the miles that you want. Theyve always got me home on time and got mehome a couple times for emergencies. Dispatch always answer the phone when you need them and get the job done. The drivers relation manager at hmd is the best in the business. When I have a problem shes always there to help or sit down and talk it out and resolve the problem. Other trucking companies have tried to hire me away from hmd they cant even come close to the pay. Theyre laid back as long as you get the job done.

Productive and fun work place. I’m a Fleet Driver and get $0.55 cpm plus $0.04 cpm additional for Hazmat or Doubles. I drive a newer Peterbilt with low miles It is a decent job for me with decent conditions!

I just left this place like last week only been here almost a month. For starters they big sign on bonus of 500 they advertising on web and trailer is really a settlement ADVANCE if not there for 90 days. Your pay is held 2 weeks before a check. U will get 100.00 bucks for orientation but it will come that Friday as a check. The 509.00 bonus the next friday and finally a check the 3rd. Monthly or Quarterly bonus is only if camera faces inside Truck on, forward and 2 sides cameras. If no 2 weeks notice given they take your escrow which is 2000 or 2500 for there truck. Theses people are a joke and crooks. I pray they hit ROCK BOTTOM.. AND I DO HAVE THE PAPERWORK FROM ORIENTATION TOO BACK THIS FOR THOSE WITH THESE FAKE POSITIVE COMMENTS..
