These people are amazing. They took in an abandoned squirrel I found and I knew that he was going to be cared for.

Called this place because i had a baby bird that was abandoned and wondered if they took in birds. They didn’t answer so i messaged them on facebook explaining the situation and was left on read. But you care about the animals right?

They are amazing people. They take in orphaned and injured wildlife, rehabilitate, and release them back into the wild.

Your mailbox is full and I can not get a hold of anyone I could not understand the man speaking in the voicemail it was very muffled but I am incapable of treating a bird with a broken wing and I can’t make it to any rescue center by the time I get off of work everyday I have a bird with a broken wing outside of the house in a blue dog carrier he has food and water I’m sorry to do it this way but it’s either this or I just let him go and I know he will not survive I wish I can take him somewhere but all the other rescues are 2 hours from me and I get off of work late so I would not make I put him there around 5pm on March 25 2021

Paws Critter Crossing is one of the best places I have ever been to. We first went because we found an opossum with her jaw stuck in a wire cage. We brought her in and they immediately fixed her up and got her rehydrated. Weve also brought plenty of baby raccoons and baby opossums to them as well. Theyre great people and if you ever needed a place to donate to, this is it. They do everything out of the kindness of their own hearts and they are literally the ONLY place in Cook county that will accept wildlife to rehabilitate

They rehabilitate wild life. They do not pick up. Need to call first to arrange drop off the wild life. Have a great web site that gives all the information you need. They are non profit. And, do take donations. Again, call or check web site.

I found a baby bunny that had been bitten by a dog. I called around to several vets asking what to do. Paws Critter was the only place that was willing to take the bunny in and care for it. Thanks!

Just by there yesterday. If I was a dog spending time away from their family. This is the Palace to relax at. Up to date, fresh and friendly. Both inside and out activities, training, R & R or just need time away. This is the place.I am a cat lover - but know I might want to be a dog if can visit PAWS.

I was in the Chicago area for the weekend when we saw an injured bird. We called Paws Creature Crossing SEVERAL TIMES for help but no one answered the phone and went straight to voicemail. If you going to run an animal hospital/shelter it would be great if there was someone there to pick up the phone in the middle of the day. Dont know what happened to the bird.
