Neil and his team are the ultimate professionals. They came in, were fully prepared and took care of my AC replacement. They restored my air in less time than estimated and he even called this evening to check to see if it was performing as it should. I could not have asked for a better experience.

As a licensed realtor and a property manager, I held a high standard when I provide the service, and I stick into without integrity nothing works. Compare to so many technicians I worked with in the past, Neal was much more positive, kind and professional technician with a high integrity. He did a thorough job to check up HVAC system and boilers, gave me a certification paper and a lot of good advices. Also, he offered his further service to help me communicate with the Code Department. All in all, he would receive more businesses from us in the future because of being responsible.

They came when I called . If it wasn’t for them I would def be suffering in this heat. They were very good with pricing and showing us what was wrong and telling us how we can do it ourselves as well. They weren’t trying to rip us off . So happy I found them !

This company was called to fix a unit and when Neal was “ordering parts” that never came he kept us waiting for weeks. Kept delaying and stated that it was the manufacture not getting the parts in due to Covid. It was in the 90s all week and he showed little regard for the weeks of waiting. He eventually stopped returning our messages and ghosted us. He really had us believing the parts were just not coming in. We went through someone else and parts were in two days later.

Was very happy when the ac man came to our house in Chicago. He fixed our ac for a great price and didnt try to sell us a new one! They are my go to guys now

Very little regard for the elderly. My Grandfather had to suffer through the heat as we were being lied to by Neal who stated the parts for his heating system would arrive in a couple of days. The parts were never ordered for the unit after several weeks, even though we were told otherwise. Upon calling another service, it was addressed in two days.

Had a new Airtemp ac installed its so quite and it looks great they gave me a great deal and I did not feel pressured into anything like other companies.

Called late Monday evening because my AC stopped working talked to Neal said he could be at my home in a hour and made it in 30mins came in diagnosed my AC problem ordered the parts and was back out to my home on Wednesday to finish the job very impressed with the outstanding service and reasonable pricing I would suggest everyone use them if you want someone who cares about their customers!!

Had issues with my furnace and needed a part late after other shops were closed for the weekend. They not only had the part, and sold it reasonably priced so i could work on the furnace, but when the issue appeared to be more than just the one part, they made a trip out found a second broken part and replaced it right away. Excellent service and very prompt and friendly. reasonable and stand behind their work. Highly recommended

The company was very attentive to what was wrong and they found what was causing our furnace to keep going out. Instead of continuously fixing a part they found the issue to what was causing the part to keep going out. They didn’t come in suggesting us to purchase a new furnace. They came in, found the problem and gave us quotes.

I know very little about clogged faucets and these guys came out, cleared the clogged faucet, and didnt charge me anything because they were honest and was not out to rip me off. Works cant express how thankful I am for Thermal Heating & Cooling! I accidentally cut my copper wire with a trimmer and Neal and his dad came out within an hour to repair the wire. Today is 90+ degrees and will be 90 degrees all week, so I would have gone all week without air conditioning in my home! Neal saved the day! They are now my go to business for my air conditioner repairs!!!

I do NOT recommend this company! It seems I had the same problem that another reviewer had with this company. I called them to check on a gas leak in my home. Neal came out and checked it and tightened one pipe and put soap on another to check for bubbles. He said he saw none so he turned my gas back on (the gas company turned it off due to the leak). After Neal left the smell of gas got so strong in my home you could smell it outside the home. It was awful. I had the gas company back out and they said first of all, Neal was not supposed to turn the gas back on, only THEY can do that once they have turned it off. Secondly, the place that they originally found the leak that Neal said was not leaking, WAS STILL LEAKING. They also think he may have caused a problem with my gas regulator when he turned the gas back on causing the stronger gas smell. I called Neal back as he said they warranty all of their work. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be true. I spoke with Neal the next day after he said he would come back to make the repair. He told me he had been in a car accident and was now at the hospital. He said he would have someone from his company come back to complete the repair. Well what do you know, I cant reach anyone at their company and Neal is no longer returning my calls. All I can say is if you take a GAMBLE and use this company it is BUYER BEWARE because they do not do good work and they do not stand by their fake warranty. It has now been 5 days later and NO CALL or follow-up from Neal or this company on my problem and I still can not reach any of them on the phone. I will never use them again & would not recommend anyone else use them either!

Air broke on the worst weekend possible (95) they were SO QUICK with ordering my unit and did a complete install indoor/outdoor and furnace in ONE DAY. great customer service, went 130% to accommodate me in every way (took old boxes and parts for me, filled out rebate forms too) wonderful people.

Neal came out on time. Figured out the reason the heat was not working and told me exactly what I needed to do in order to fix it, thus saving me some money. Would definitely use them again.

I am in the military and currently deployed. My wife hired Neal to install central heat and air a month ago, but now he won’t uphold his contract by coming to fix a leak in his poorly installed system or provide her with the formal invoice or money he owes. He won’t even return her calls and texts. She texted him when she was going to post her honest review if he didn’t resolve the issues. It’s interesting that at almost the exact same time 2 positive reviews were posted. Very shady! And to do this to her when I am not home to help deal with it is ridiculous.

These guys are awesome! We have had them out multiple times for various fixes. The most recent being a total replacement of our AC. They did it super fast and for an unbelievable price! Im super happy with the unit we got and how professional they are any time they are in your home.

Called these guys at 3 am on a 95 degree night and they were here in 1 hour and had my ac working the same night! Can’t be happier they saved me, my wife and the dogs form the heat. I paid for service on my furnace in January and thought the issue was fixed but a day or so later it was not working again. He came back and said it was a small issue but this should have been rectified on the first service call. I called back a few weeks later because the heat was still not working properly. I was promised that he would be there first thing in the morning but he never showed up and never returned any of my phone calls. I had to call another furnace company and pay all over again.

A/C failed on hot day and the Service tech, Neal and his partner worked together to diagnose the problem and had the part delivered and installed the same day. This was outstanding service. We had medical problems in the house and having the A/C fixed quickly was so helpful The fact that the management of Thermal Heating and Cooling understood that and acted so quickly was wonderful. DO NOT HIRE! NOT BBB accredited! Neal gave me a good quote, but it all went down hill from there. Installation was delayed due to the wrong furnace being ordered and the a/c came in with a dent. Installation took 4 days instead of the promised 6-8 hours. Originally he was apologetic and even refunded me a little on the a/c unit, so I wasn’t upset. But then the air conditioner did not work on day 1. He scheduled a day to come look at it, but never showed or called. I got a text 2 days later with a lame excuse. When he finally came to look he said there was a recall on the evaporator coil and mentioned putting in a temporary one until the replacement came in, which he said would only take a few days. Fast forward almost 2 weeks with me texting/calling and getting a few responses including an actual scheduled appointment that he never showed up for before this coil actually came in. The temporary one was never installed of course. After the coil was replaced I saw a pipe that was hanging loose and looks like it was never glued. Again poor communication, however he did come within 3 days to fix that. He was supposed to drop off a formal invoice and a refund for the coil. He missed his appointment for that without a call or text and I’m still waiting 14 days later. In that time I’ve also found a leak of clear oil. He ignored me for days regarding these topics, finally responded via text (which I believe was an accident as the text did not pertain to me) and scheduled a day to come fix it. That day has come and gone with no show, no call, no text. I tried to submit a complaint through the Better Business Bureau only to find out that despite putting the logo on his website he is not accredited through them! They are aware of this and have formally requested that he remove it to no avail. I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism and I hope my review saves someone else from this headache!

Neal was very knowledgeable and assessed the problem correctly. Prompt service even on a Saturday. Couldn’t get the unit up and running, but if there was a way it would’ve been handled. Hope you can waive the service fee for me.

Bad peoples to work I did business with them a yr ago an still waiting on them to come I’ve called thousands of times I’ve left message an when I finally got them on the phone a yr later they set a appointment still fall to show up they have been owed me $50 on a refund for over a yr now even when they came the first time they left a problem an never came back to fixes that problem an they study ducking my calls as if they always have phone problems this is a business u supposed to have had your phone issue fixed with then a yr jus call today an he screen called me actin like he couldn’t hear me constantly say hello smash bad for busy never trust the worker or owner whoever name is NEAL HE IS RHE THATS GIVING ME ALL THE GRIEF

I called Sunday the 20th 2019 to see if Neal could come to my property and repair my tenants furnace, it was out , and it was cold outside. He gave me a window from 10-5 , then said 7-8 , never showed , had some communications with my tenants, said he would come the next morning around 10 ish. Can’t trust this company at this point. Have another company coming at 11 today, it feels like -5 out..my tenants need heat!
