I had to pay the bill just as soon as the plumber was finished. He said a receipt would be mailed right away. Eleven days later and still no receipt. You have one phone number on the website and two separate numbers in the yellow pages and claim to be open 24 hours. I have called all three numbers and each selection says I have entered an invalid selection!! So how is a person supposed to get hold of your service (especially if youre open 24 hours) and how do I get a receipt if you cannot be contacted??

Because their contract has a confidentiality clause that says you will be fined 500.00 for putting them on blast on social media, I wont give details except to say that if time is a factor, or customer service, or money, or if you have any intention of ever receiving a refund for work not completed, I would not recommend this company. If I could give it no stars or negative stars I would.

This company is a scam! They are better off in the customer service call center business.Paid over $4,000 to have our ac unit replaced. We felt cheated from the shabby job done by a begrudged employee (Michael) who left the company halfway into the job. After what seemed like forever, they had some other employee finish the install.This summer (less than a year after) weve resort to having our windows open for cooling at night despite having a new ac unit installed by this company!I would never recommend!

For the most part the customer service over the phone was good & the plumber that came at night, Mike, I think was polite & professional BUT it seemed like nobody was on the same page. Had to call a few times to status check & everytime I had to repeat the situation & address... finally had to go with other company. Seems like the call center is in a different area or state. Wanted to give a zero but everyone I did talk to was pleasant & not rude. I also understood no cash refunds

Made an appointment to have bathroom work in our basement on 7/9/21. Verified the address and appointment the day prior to said service date and the plumber would call when he is 30 minutes out. On the day of service, and after 3 hours had passed from the scheduled time, called to see what was going on. The lady said that Chris was behind on his 1st job and was bigger than they thought. Expect him within the hour. After another hour had passed, received a call from their dispatch (Brian) that he went to the wrong address earlier in the day because the zip code on file was 82007 and not 82009. Wanted to reschedule for the following week.My concerns with this company are; the address was verified the day prior. No one called on the day of service stating they were 30 minutes out to indicate they were on their way. This would have verified they were going to the right address. To be told two different reasons (behind on the 1st job, couldnt find address) why they wouldnt being doing service strikes me as both unprofessional and dishonest. Burned a vacation day and the only thing I got out of this company is a headache.STAY AWAY!

* The bosses ended up coming out and taking care of the issue their selfs. Our air started working ten minutes later after actually taking the time to figure it out! We appreciate that the bosses listened to what happened and took care of the problems. We are very appreciative of that!We paid to have a air conditioner installed. They installed it didn’t even check to see if it worked the 3 plus times they came out. 4,000$ later and they still don’t have it working and they don’t show up on time then want to talk about charging us after hours for work they could have done during the day but wouldn’t! This company is such a disappointment.

I called Marvs in the morning and a plumber named Matthew arrived about an hour later. The leak wasnt easy to find or fix, but Matthew didnt give up until it was fixed. Im very pleased with Marvs customer service and the work Matthew did.

Update to my previous review. The company called and apologized, and asked to make it right. I agreed to let them try and make things right. We scheduled the work to be done today. Once again, I drove from Loveland, CO to make the appointment in Cheyenne, and took time off from work to be here. At 8 am (the scheduled time) they were not here. At 8:15am, Marvs called me to tell me that the guy is out of town and we will now have to reschedule the appointment for a whole week from today. I am absolutely beyond disappointed at this point. My entire project is halted and waiting for this to get done. I am losing time, money, and wasting time from my job.

Furnace technician arrived earlier than scheduled, with advanced notification of time change. Displayed very knowledgeable and competent professional skills. Was very friendly and answered all question to my satisfaction. Indicated a US Army veteran, as one myself very pleased to see this company is veteran friendly. I have used Marvs on at least five occasions in the past and three of the five technicians were veterans. My furnace is almost on top end of safe operating shelf life, Marvs will be first company I call for an estimate when it is time.

After 3 different techs from Marv’s came to my house for a furnace issue, I was told I just needed my furnace replaced because it’s old and it “might” be the motor but they couldn’t get that part for 3-5 more days. I had to ask all 3 to wear a mask to enter my home amidst a pandemic. When I realized I needed a second opinion, I got a company over here who actually knows furnaces. My motor was completely fried and if I’d stuck with Marv’s, I’d have had to wait for 3-5 days with a fried motor and heat that wasn’t consistently working during what looks to be the coldest weekend of the year. Luckily, the other company had a new motor in and running within hours. Absolutely would not recommend.

Had gurgling noise that was getting loud as time goes by in the pipes. Brad came over and helped with plumbing issues in the pipes and helped identified what I was missing for the home as the house had some short cuts in its work. Brad was very helpful and personable. It was great to receive the customer service he provided and explained the process, step by step. Not too often I do write reviews, but Brad definitely earned this one. Thank you Brad!

Last December (2019) we went without a furnace for three weeks because Marvs would send out a tech to look at it, each time we called about no heat a different tech would come out. The technicians thought they had it fixed, which wasnt the case. We had space heaters of different sorts for heat which sky rocketed our electricity bill. Meanwhile the water to the house froze and remained frozen.. Finally after many conversations with Scott (manager) they installed a new furnace.This year when we finally had to turn it on, it worked a couple of times then started going out. We called, the tech called us back with a few ideas. So now when it quits we turn it off for a while then back on. It seems the worst on snow days. Marvs talked about raising the chimney (which was not a problem with the old furnace) due to it being winter (2019) they decided Spring would be better to raise it. Almost a year later it hasnt been done.This company is based out of Colorado now. Before it was sold we never had problems like this. I would not recommend this company to anyone. This is our experience with Marvs, others may have a better experience.

We had an after hour emergency and they worked throughout the weekend unclogging huge root balls from our sewer line and also checking a few drains. The original reason we called them with our kitchen sinks backing up into our dishwasher and washing machine line still isnt fixed.They had to leave for their next customer and said boiling water would fix the problem. Here it is 2am, 12 pots of boiling water later, now Im out 1200.00 dollars, a kitchen sink, dishwasher, and washing machine that I cant use. Thank you for your help. Broke and plugged.

Incredibly disappointed. I called yesterday morning, was told a tech would be out between 2-4 to help fix our furnace, so us and our children don’t freeze again over night. They were a no show! I called closer to 4 and was told the service manager would call me. Called again at 445 and was told the same thing. No calls from the service manager, no show from the tech, still sitting in a freezing house. I heard better things about this company. I suppose I was mistaken to give them a try. We will freeze out the weekend and figure it out Monday because now everything is considered Emergency hours and I’m guessing time and half is where they start and those rates at, if your lucky enough to get someone to show up or return your call. Disappointed to say the least.

Had an appointment window today from 2 to 4 for a backed up sewer line. No call no show.*edit*After a no call no show, I called the dispatching agency a few minutes after 4. They couldnt provide me an ETA for anybody to come out that day. I canceled the appointment at that point. At approximately 5:30 I get a call from the dispatch saying there is a contractor outside my house. They came uninvited anyway 1.5 hpurs late. Bull ridge Plumbing was already at my house and finishing up by then. As of today, 19 Jan 21, nobody from Marvs has reached out to me.

Mainly inspected very small leak on water heater. Told us that everything looked to be in great shape and that this leak was common and not a sign of water heater failure. We appreciated the honesty of this answer instead of just selling us a new water heater that we didn’t need yet. We continue to trust Marv’s for all of our plumbing needs.

However, I would recommend the company provide him with a shirt and/or jacket such that when he appears at your door step that you know what the person is all about. Had our furnaces and fireplace checked and cleaned. About 2 weeks later, the pilot light went out in the fireplace and we could not relight. This had not been a problem before the clean and check. Called and asked for the same serviceman to come back. Was told it was not a problem. He would be there the next day. Didn’t happen. A repairman we had previously given a bad rating came. Said we needed a new part. Put it on, and borrowed some of our tools. Two days later the pilot light is out again and again we cannot get it to light. Fed up with Marvs, but feel like they owe us a repair job.

I had a hot water pipe leaking for almost 3 months in an extremely hard to reach area. Another plumber quoted me almost $750 and suggested I remove my shower for better access. Marvs technician Ken was early. He fixed it in under two hours and explained everything. Price was so affordable and I will be a lifetime customer. Marv’s to the rescue! We discovered a sewer line backup late at night, something no one EVER wants to see at any time. I placed the phone call shortly before midnight and the receptionist was very polite and understanding, plus she was ALIVE, rather than recorded - what a relief! She set up a repair appointment for the next morning (Saturday). Our plumber, Matt, showed up early in the scheduling window which was great to see. He was professional, polite, and knowledgeable - exactly what we needed. He completed the job in a timely manner and didn’t leave a mess. All in all, a job well done from initial call to packing up. Update: Ryan and Heather both reached out to me and were able to quickly resolve this! They were able to refund me for the 2nd payment. Thank you!Not a good experience. I am under contract on a home and used them for a plumbing inspection and sewer scope, which was fine. However, somehow they have double charged my bank account for the inspections and after several days of calling and being promised a call back from someone in billing to resolve this, I have yet to receive a phone call from anyone or get a refund for the 2nd charge. I’m not even sure anyone has looked into it at this point and I just keep getting passed around on the phone. Now I have a few hundred extra dollars in limbo with these people and they don’t seem to care that they are just hanging on to my money. I would not recommend doing business with them until they get their billing department straightened out.

As far as the repair... Im sure the plumber did an excellent job. But the cost and the way he left my bathroom was disappointing. I had paper towels in the bathroom but instead of using those to clean with he used my hand towels. Also leaving black marks on the wall and commode. Id just cleaned my bathroom on Friday and for the amount of labor that was billed he should have left it as clean as he found it. I was billed $163.50 in labor costs for 1.5 hours... Could have purchased a new commode just for the labor costs alone.Ugh

Alex came out on Tuesday to survey leaking sink and toilet. On Wednesday, he installed the new kitchen faucet we bought at Lowes. He even ran out to get longer hookups when the new ones were six inches short. Great work and professional. On Thursday, he came bsck and investigated toilet leak. Toilet installed improperly last August by previous plumber. Alex fixed it quickly after removing toilet off its base and reinstalling. Well done!

Being a resident here in town I had Mavs recommended to me by some friends in town. I called on a Friday and had an appointment scheduled for 10-12 today Monday. They told me I would be charged by the hour for this and gave no additional information. Knowing this I let me place or work know, and made plans to be home at this time. The plumber assigned to my home called at 9:25 while I was still at the office without leaving a message. The information I was provided did not have his phone number and so I was unaware that the plumber had even tried to contact me. I followed up with marvs after waiting for a while, they let me know I missed him and would have to reschedule at a later date and time. This was not an option for me given my current role in my career and thus I let them know that I NEEDED to have someone come today. After being on hold with customer service they let me know someone would try to make it out today in my time frame and would leave a message when calling to let me know they were ready. I never received a call and the plumber never arrived to my home. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I hope this review helps you decide who to use! :)

Our furnace decided to go out on New Year’s day (Wednesday) so I called Marvs and they were here first thing Thursday morning Scott was great in explaining to me what was going to happen how much everything was going to cost and he expedited my issues so I wouldn’t have to go without heat for a whole weekend. The tech that came out to install the furnace was at my house by 10 AM and had the furnace completely installed by 2 PM I now have heat and I could not be more appreciative. Seth is amazing. Everyone at Marvs is. We were having issues getting our furnace to turn on. Everyone else in town was booked solid for a month. Marvs got someone out to us that day. Seth was able to fix the issue. The furnace went out again and seth came back out really dug in and figured out the problem. He put a bandaid on it to give us heat and was back out today to clean our furnace and fix all the issues. Absolutely wonderful service. Seth was very prompt and respectful. I wont use anyone but marvs from now on.

Marv’s recently replaced our water heater . While the employees we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable, the lack of communication between all departments caused multiple issues with every step of the process from scheduling, to the work that needed to be done, to billing. The job should’ve taken a day (their estimate), but due to miscommunication (although one part of that was our fault) it ended up taking about six weeks from start to finish. We ended up with our new water heater plugged in to an extension cord for two nights when they didn’t realize the electrician services were included in the bid and contract, and not only failed to schedule an electrician but tried to tell us we had to do that (so we would’ve paid for it twice). Needs were not anticipated, which resulted in several trips to town as well as large delays due to items that had to be ordered. The team that came to do the work wasn’t even fully aware of the jobs that we had accepted bids for. We had also asked for a bid to replace our aging furnace and install air conditioning, but we will be taking that business elsewhere now. Despite multiple employees aware of all of our issues, no one from management has reached out to discuss the problems we had.

The technician was early and even waited for us to return home after we had blown a fuse and had to go to the store to get more. He was very professional and courteous as well as knowledgeable. He had our furnace diagnosed and fixed within a matter of about 30 minutes. He then made sure he was able to post date our payment so that the card wouldnt be charged until we had money in the account. These guys are great! I would recommend them to anyone.

Teck was fine but thought 109 dollars to tell us what happened which we kind of figured did not solve our problem. That money should be applied to the job that needs done. Mide as well put a match to that money. Thought something would be fixed for that money. It is like paying a dr out of pocket to tell you what is wrong but does not help you in any way unless you go back and pay again. That is just how we feel.

Don’t use them! Ask other people about them before you do. I used Marv’s for a couple of flip projects in town. They did all the plumbing and heating and did a horrible job. I had to fight with them to come to the job after months and months, their work didn’t pass multiple inspections even after I had already paid for it. The last thing was the general manager Rich Ryan said he would cover half the cost of a new water heater for one of the houses after they did all the work. Well now we are 8 months down the road and they still haven’t paid and he won’t answer my texts, calls or messages at the office. I would not recommend them to my enemy. I’ll also have my realtor, the home owner and other people that have had work by them start leaving one stars and their reviews. I didn’t want it to have to come to this but I’m out the money the manager promised and can’t get ahold of them.

Marvs has been nothing but irresponsible and unprofessional during my experience. My property has had a SERIOUS plumbing emergency for well over a week. They have come out multiple times but have gotten nothing done other than breaking off a piece of their own equipment in our pipes—even after the manager guaranteed that they would get it fixed by a certain day. They have been rude over the phone, have not showed up when they said they will and have rescheduled days/appointments without telling me, and have been completely unconcerned about the fact that there is literal sewage pumping into my house and damaging my property. Even when I went out of my way to tell one of their workers about it when he was on the property. He acted like it was just to be expected and no big deal, and like I would just have to live with it, instead of even offering to come look at it and showing any kind of concern over the fact that it’s a literal health hazard in my home.I haven’t been able to use my toilet or my shower, or my kitchen sink at all during this whole time because there is human waste backed up and leaking everywhere. It doesn’t matter that I’ve tried explaining that to them more than once over the phone, and so has my landlord more than once. They still don’t seem in any hurry to get the job done and get it done right.Marvs always had a good reputation when I was growing up here in the area. But after this experience, not only would I personally not ever use them again if I had a choice, but I will be recommending to other people I know that they look for better service elsewhere.

I recently posted some concerns I had with service calls from Marvs. I was promptly contacted by an employee from Marvs who was genuinely interested in addressing my concerns and who was willing to listen to what I had to say. After a brief phone call,this employee was able to propose a solution that was satisfactory to both of us, and generous to me. I appreciate the time and consideration I was given. Its nice to know that local companies do reach out to address customers concerns.

Furnace repair. Service tech showed up at end of 2 hour window, looked at furnace and thought it needed a elbow on top of exhaust. He left for a while to go get a part, showed back up and it did t fit. (It’s a concentric exhaust, doesn’t need that elbow, has a built on rain cap) Then he went and checked pressure switch, said pressure was bad, and sounded like water was in blower. At this point he said he didn’t have time to fix it. So, he charged me the service fee, and left me with a still broken furnace, and said they would call and reschedule. The next appt would cost me another service fee + parts. They never called to schedule another appt. I had some one else come look at it, all that was wrong, was the drain was clogged, once cleared, water drained out and the furnace worked fine.

Property manager called “Marv’s plumbing “ yesterday because the people above us just moved in, every time they flush ,I have water coming out of a vent in my bathroom like a waterfall. The plumber claimed that it was from the snow melting and Going through the vents. Uh, I’m no plumber but I know that’s not true.. Hasn’t happened before or with anyone else. He also couldn’t even put the cover to the vent back on the ceiling, so that’s there hanging.. Great job on locating the problem *not*

If I could I would take away stars. Your business ethics and morals seem to be missing. I WOULD NOT let any of your remaining staff (the good employees have all left) touch my plumbing with a 10 ft pole. ALL of their good knowledgeable, honest employees have left due to circumstances. John, Korey, Wayne, Cody, Zander, Jeremy, and Nate have all left within last few months. That number of people quit in such a short time but they are doing great work there lol. Do not waste your money. The owner cares more about his looks than he cares about other people.
