I love August 1st! They do a great job of making me feel valued as a client. They do not overbook themselves and try to rush through services which I greatly appreciate. They are very professional and friendly and do beautiful nails! They also have an excellent color selection! I love Jason!

This was my first visit to August First Nails. Jason was so welcoming and offered me a beverage as soon as I sat down. Jason also gave me the best dip manicure I’ve had in a long time. He listened to my requests and delivered exactly what I asked for. He got very close to the cuticle at my request, which is important to me because my nails grow very fast, so I know this manicure will last much longer than usual. I will be back when I’m ready for a refresh!

They were amazing! My younger sister got a manicure and pedicure, they were super kind to her and did a great job. I got a set of acrylics and she was amazing!!! She executed the nail art even better than the picture and was super patient with me! Super reasonable pricing as well!! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my time with Jason and Trang. They really treated me and my guest to a wonderful pedicure. The pedicures were relaxing and well worth the time spent. I especially enjoyed conversation about boba tea and pho!! And they have the most glittery polish ever! I left with toes looking like diamonds dancing. All love and hugs to August First Nails.

Jason and his wife are both so talented and provide exceptional service!I even came back a few days later to get something fixed and they were very sweet and kind about it. First time trying August 1st after reading such great reviews and will definitely be my last. The lady who did my pedicure was great. They did not have an exact match in polish color for the powder I picked, but that’s the least of the issues here. The lady who did my powder dip nails was atrocious. Let’s begin with her walking in to work late, didn’t bother washing her hands. I should have left then but my nails were wrapped in foil... then to remove my previous set of powder she DRILLED them off after soaking in an acetone wrap... I get powder nails bc they are healthier and LESS damaging... not when you drill them. As she’s drilling, there is still old powder still on my nails which she just sloppily powdered over. I usually get tips however today I am leaving with short nails bc I did not trust how tips would look. I’ve attached photos and will be starting my search for a nail tech closer to my house ASAP. Edit: apparently I was wrong about the good pedicure as three hours have passed since my pedicure and my toenail polish is still wet... a huge waste of $70...

Best nail salon in Chesterfield. Jasons dipped nails are the best. They last a long time and if you do break one, hell fix it for free. It has a wonderful family atmosphere. I highly recommend August 1st.

I have gone to pretty much every nail salon in St. Louis it seems like. The luxurious ones, the hole in the wall ones and everything in between- I will literally never go anywhere else in St Louis now that I go to August 1st. I have had acrylics on for nearly 15 years and hands down, this is the best salon to get your nails done no matter what you’re looking for. Jason, the owner, does my nails- and he is friendly, professional and genuinely amazing at what he does. Every time I come in to get my nails done he exceeds my expectations and then some. I have never EVER had an issue with cracks, breakage etc. I am being 100% genuine when I say this is the only spot I will go. Thank you Jason and family for all of the times you’ve made my nails amazing!!

They do very well on my nails. Last a very long time unless I break them. I wish they would massage more on the pedicures an give the feet some much needed love.

I got the pointy shape and a rose gold color and I can’t stop staring at my nails. This is one of the best nail shop i had been to in the chesterfield areas. I really like getting my manicure and pedicure done there they are so good at what they do. I also really like the way they do healthy nails. It always come out so nice and natural looking. The worker there are all good at what they do and a plus that they are all so friendly and helpful making me always feel welcome when i visit. Must try this shop out everyone, you will agree!!

Stumble upon August 1st Nails on my way back from the outlet mall, my first impression was the welcoming atmosphere here. Everyone working here is so friendly. Even before sitting down, you would get offered a water bottle. They are so accommodating with the design I brought in. Overall, beautiful job and very satisfied experience.

The stag was very friendly and kind. I went in to have dip done for the first time and my oh my do they have a great selection of colors and options! I wanted ombre mermaid nails and got something better than I imagined.

August First served me with the upmost respect with an outstanding manicure including many additions (wax, back message) that most places do not and all for the same price. They went above and beyond my expectations. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend.
