Maris is A-1 in our book! We had two large windows added to our family room last month by Kevin and Brian. Their knowledge, customer service and level of craftsmanship is to be commended! The windows simply look wonderful! From the initial meeting with sales, calls with the scheduling team and through the installation process we were impressed with the well coordinated efforts. I would recommend Maris for your home improvement projects!

We have used Maris Home Improvement Inc on more than one occasion and have referred them to others since they always have good products and have very skilled technicians.The project was equally rewarding experience, had some scheduling issue due to COVID-19 but all supply chains have been impacted so that is not necessarily the fault of Maris. With that said, I cannot say enough good things about Kyle (salesperson), Josh (project manager) and the two installers Antonio and Abraham.

Maris installed a deck for us in April 2020. The company did an amazing job from the beginning to the end of the job. We were very impressed with the quality of the finished product. The deck looks great and is very well constructed. The Maris team were very professional and handled all of our questions. We called for several minor service issues since the deck was installed. The service team were very friendly and took care of the issues quickly. We highly recommend Maris for an exterior deck.

I used Maris for a deck on my new home. They had the best quote by far out of the three companies I got quotes from, and their service was superior. They kept me updated on every part of the process, including the HOA approval, I will definitely be using them for other projects on my house in the future and will recommend them to anyone I know needing home improvements projects done.

Maris replaced my deck in June 2021. From the initial consultation/bid they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Maris designed and built a new deck that is beautiful yet fits in with my neighbors decks. They dealt with my not-very-responsive HOA, got the plans approved, and started work immediately upon receiving approval. When they ran into some issues with rotting wood they fixed those problems to ensure the new deck would be safe. Maris did a fantastic job, and I could not be happier with my new deck!

Maris did a great job on our replacement deck from teardown of the old deck to finishing touches on the new composite deck. This is a late review but better late than never.When the country started to shut down the company I work for set us up to work from home. After looking through the windows of my house for about 3 weeks I decided I wanted new windows. I called several companies. The last one (there were 4) to show up was Maris. The salesman walked the perimeter of my house like all the rest. The salesman spoke outside like all the rest. The salesman arrived on time like all the rest. What made him different is that instead of selling me some windows he sold me a gutter. He mentioned that my right gutter looked bad...asked if I got water in my basement at all and then told me that it might be wiser to get new gutters than windows. I was sad and didnt have the money to get a ton of windows and knew that I probably didnt have the money for 2 gutters. Not a problem. They worked with me. Sadly, the salesperson whose name escapes me was super nice and understanding.When the installers came to do the work they were very fast and tidy. They were super polite.Maris EVEN sent people to fix a spot that leaked on part of the other gutter. NICE company.Why the 4 out of 5 then? Well, I wasnt called as to when the installers were coming. It would have been nice to know that rather than them just show up.Would I recommend and use Maris again?ABSOLUTELY!!!

Maris did a great job on our new deck. Completion was done on time and in a very professional manner. They even went the extra step and installed replacement siding where the old deck was originally installed. They did a great job and I am completely satisfied.

First, the visit from Karen, an efficient company representative , gave us some professional ideas for the deck project. Next, the Maris office/building staff kept us informed regarding the final measurements/ Product Ordering/permit/Inspection process. After H.O.A approval, the Maris construction team went to work, removing the old deck structure and presenting to us our new 22 x 12 composite deck . This is the worse company. I will never use them again. They dont show up when they are supposed to. Dont bother trying to make an appointment, they come out when they want to. When they want to come, they wont call first. It took 8 months for them to come out to fix the fence. I had to keep calling them to remind them. They leave their scraps. They have left my garage door open and they dont ask to use the electricity. They arent respectful of my time. It seems once they got their money, they dont care about customer support.

Their designer actually took time to listen to my description of what I wanted. Their construction crew were true professionals who executed the plan above my expectations. The result is a beautiful addition to my home.

Wed had several estimates, but no one took the time to really explain the process from beginning to end. They took care of our HOA approvals and made the process a breeze. They contacted us prior to delivery of materials to make sure we were ready and always kept a clean work area. The quality of the material used is very high. Were constantly getting compliments on our deck and fence! Lastly, wed heard horror stories from neighbors and friends that materials were scarce and wed be waiting months before work started. Due to being short staffed it took longer than expected to finish our deck. The project manager responded quickly to concerns with errors in installation. Everything was fixed properly and we are very pleased with the quality of how everything turned out.

From the initial visit to give us a quote on our new fence to the finished product, Maris was FANTASTIC! The representative even suggested options that we never thought of that saved us extra money. In 2019 We had a few windows replaced in our home. The rep was knowledgeable and was it was not a high pressure sales pitch. They understood we were on a budget and did not try and sell us something we could not afford. The installers did a good job. The install was done quickly and they cleaned up well after themselves. I actually just called them to install some more windows in our home. Good company and reasonably priced product.

The guys who came out here to do our bathroom remodel were always on time, worked very hard, they were professional yet friendly, did good quality work, & always let me know if they had to shut the water off so I could prepare for that. Loved working with Maris from beginning to end. I reached out to them after reading great reviews. They came out and gave us a free estimate for a vinyl fence and didn’t use any of the typical sales tactics to get us to give them money right away. They were extremely respectful in allowing us time to make a decision. They were not the cheapest company we obtained quotes from, but it was worth every penny! When it came to obtaining permits, they handled it all... we never lifted a finger. Once we received all necessary approvals, they came out and had our fence up in no time and it looks beautiful! One year later, we still consider this one of the best decisions we have ever made.

I hired them to install a vinyl fence. Come to find out, my HOA will not allow a vinyl fence. We switched it to an aluminum fence. They ordered a straight gate instead of a slanted one. In order for them to install the gate they had to dig up my yard. I now have a large hill directly after my gate. It looks horrible and I cant even open the fence.Update: The owner and Paul came out and talked to my wife. They proposed a better solution and performed the work. The new gate looks a lot better than the first attempt. I have say, they really went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the end product. As a result, I am changing my review to 5 stars.

Marris did a fantastic job on a 13x10 deck that we had. I did the tear out to reduce the price a bit and left them with an open area to build in. I couldnt of been happier. The entire decks is amazing, of great quality, and was completed quickly. My representative was Ken (the owner). Hes a bit cooky, but he knows his stuff. I keep calling Marris Home Improvements back every time I want a quote I can trust. In addition, the admin ladies are the best in the business. Theyre always so nice and understanding. I had to move a few appointments about siding but they just kept up with me and moved them. They were always great to talk to.

Very happy with the sales and building of the deck. Sales was not pushy gave us several types of decking material to choose from. Some less costly than others. WE HAD OUR BATHROOM REDMODELED FOR WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. NOW THAT ITS DONE I LOVE THAT I CAN JUST PUSH MY HUSBANDS WHEELCHAIR INTO THE SHOWER . JASON AND KEVIN WERE GREAT CAME ON TIME ,TOLD US WHAT NEEDED CORRECTING AND DID IT, EVEN TOOK PICS, OF WORK JASON DID IN ATTIC THAT WE COULDNT SEE. ITS A RELIEF TOO FIND A COMPANY THAT WILL CORRECT THE PROBLEMS WHEN JOB IS DONE.

We had a Garden Window put in, replacing our old one from Home Depot. The window is much better quality and provides a much better insolating value. They did the job in minimal time, cleaned up, and the window looks great. BTW, the window was custom size, so it did take a bit of time to get in, but was well worth the wait.

We have had two projects done by Maris Home Improvements now and they are great to work with. They are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They were not pushy, but they are not afraid to let you know that your plans are going to be expensive. However, the cost for our projects were very reasonable. I definitely plan to use them again.

I had Maris install a staircase and fencing last year. Their crew was top notch, worked like pros through the heat and were extremely nice. Results were great, no major issues and the minor ones that came up were resolved in a timely manner. Would recommend!

Getting Maris to finally come start the work was a nightmare. At one point I called and asked Monica what the holdup was, and she said St. Louis County hasn’t approved the permit yet. So I called St. Louis County and they hadn’t received a permit from Chesterfield yet. So I called Monica again and her reply was, “I meant Chesterfield hasn’t approved it yet.” Then magically, it was “approved” by Chesterfield an hour later.The overall process was about 4 months, between signing the deal and construction being completed. My next door neighbor signed a deal (for a bigger deck) 2 weeks after me, and his deck was finished a month before mine.Other than that pre-construction stuff, the rest was good. The deck looks good, they did good work. They were also very receptive to the minor things I wanted fixed before my final payment.

Im writing this review primarily for the very professional manner in which they attend to potential customers. I submitted a request on Home Advisor for a fence installation. After about 2-3 minutes, I already had received a phone call to set up an estimate visit. For that visit (which was scheduled that same day), Eric was very informative and personable. He had me with him while he did his measurements to verify exactly what we needed. When he was finished, he sat down with us to go over very specific details and to understand fully what our hopes and expectations were. Other fence companies have either not returned our request for an estimate or are not able to schedule even an estimate for another month or longer. We have not made a final decision yet on who is going to do our fence, but this has been a very pleasant and professional experience to this point. I will do an addendum if we go with them regarding the work/material quality.

We moved into a 25-year-old house with the original wood deck and it soon became apparent that it would need to be replaced. Maris was helpful in suggesting a more simple, and more economically conservative, design for the new deck. They tore down the old wood deck and replaced it with a new composite deck. They were quick and professional. The new deck looks great! Maris will be at the top of our list if we have any other home improvement projects.

From the moment I reached out to Maris, to discuss and schedule an estimate for a new deck, I was impressed by their level of customer service. Sephanie was extrememtly helpful, very efficient and was able to get an associate out to me quickly. The sales associate, Jeff, was very thorough, was not pushy at all and just an absolute pleasure to deal with. Unfortunatley, I was unable to proceed with my project due to some very unexpected events but when I am in the position to resume my project, Maris is the first company I will turning to for my home improvement needs.

Weve had two projects performed by Maris in the last year. First we had our houses windows replaced because the original windows were builder grade aluminum that were leaky and didnt all lock. I got at least 10 quotes and Maris was by far the most reasonable combination of quality and cost. The windows are great and are exactly what we were after. (We replaced about 30 windows in our home)The second project was having our house entirely re-sided. The installers were top notch and busted their humps this summer in the heat. They were communicative, quick and very attentive to detail. I went out and spoke with the crew regularly and they were fantastic. At least 3 of my neighbors have already asked for Maris information. We had siding replaced, soffits enclosed and facia wrapped in aluminum.

I has a gate made and installed by Maris. it was not an easy spot to fit a gate. There were some odd levels to account for and the people at Maris did a superior job of fitting it just perfectly.

We just had our master bathroom gutted and rebuilt by a Maris crew (Tom and Kevin). They did excellent work and were a couple of real characters, fun to have around. All the materials they used were very high quality. They put protective covering on the floor and cleaned every night and at the end. Mark, their supervisor, designed the details of the project and stopped by every day as the work was being done. He even pitched in to help. The plumbing supplier delivered the wrong toilet, which I didnt notice until near the end of the project. Mark persuaded the supplier to open the warehouse on a Saturday and gave us an upgrade at no charge because the supplier didnt have the one we ordered in stock. During the final walk through, I pointed out that the guide on the sliding door had to be raised, and Mark ran out and bought the materials and did the work himself. I went into the project thinking granite for the shower and vanity top. Im so glad Karen, the sales person, changed my mind. The crew installed a material called Onyx, which is a blend of quartz and polymer. Its much easier to keep clean. Finally, the price was extremely reasonable. We are thrilled with the result. up after themselves every night and at the end of the project. The work was in the room where we slept every night, which made the project more difficult, but they kept the intrusion to a minimum.

But for the quality and easiness of the whole process, that higher price tag was well worth it. They handled all of the permits and HOA approval, contacted Dig-Rite to come out, etc. We just answered a few questions, and wrote a check... they did everything else. The fence is beautiful, they were quick and efficient, and we have zero complaints about the whole thing. Ben, Monica, Paul, and the fence installation team were all extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.

Maris recently replaced our old wooden deck with a new composite Deckorators product and we could not be happier with how the project came out. First off the Sales presentation was great, more options than we had seen from previous companies. The product started on a Monday and was completed by the following Tuesday, the deck removed was 20x18 and multi level so a large removal. The new deck was 20x15 with stairs, all completed in just over a week and we could not be happier. I am sure there are cheaper options out there, but we would highly recommend Maris.

We used Maris to fence in our backyard with a 6 vinyl privacy fence. Maris provided excellent service and quality. From our first interaction with the sales staff to the completion of the project, all members of the team were polite and professional. They did all the work to get our HOA approval and to check about building permits. We were kept in the loop about the project the whole time. The project was completed on time as well. Although, the cost was slightly higher than competitors, the quality and craftsmanship cant be beat in my opinion. I would highly recommend Maris!

Maris did an excellent job in building our deck. It took them 3 days to complete the job. They used the exact materials as was agreed upon with a 25 year warranty, which I think is fantastic.

Maris did a terrific job on our siding and windows. They were patient as we made our selections, and attentive throughout the process. Their people returned every call, kept every appointment. Their installation crews (windows / siding) were professional and courteous. But most important, they were highly skilled. Both crews were efficient, but not rushed. The results look fantastic.At completion, the installation manager, Paul, said if you need anything, just let us know. We might, we might not. But we will feel comfortable asking should the need arise.

Our second story 23 X 8 foot deck job was completed early, in extreme heat, and still done to our specifications. A year later one post cap was damaged by hail. One call to the job manager, (Paul), and a new cap was dropped off the next day. We will use them again if a need arises.

I was looking for ballpark pricing on windows in January 2018. Home Advisors said they could provide that, and collected my info then never delivered. Instead what they did was provide my contact info to several businesses. Maris Home Improvements was one of them. They started contacting me via text. I expressed my displeasure with Home Advisor and asked for a ballpark window quote. They would not provide any pricing over the phone. I told them that was fine, and when I was ready to purchase, I would contact them and provide them the opportunity to bid the job.Fast forward a year, I have saved and have cash in hand ready to purchase new windows. I reached out to Maris on a Thursday to setup an appointment to get a quote on the following Saturday. They said they would call to confirm the appointment the day before. I never received a call. Never received a voicemail. Never received a text. Then on Saturday, they failed to show up for their appointment.The following Monday, I reached out to let them know they missed their appointment and was meet with excuses and lies. First they claimed they called several times, then they claimed they texted several times. I was trying to be nice and understanding and inquired about setting up a second appointment, but was met with such hostility I decided not to.If they cant get an appointment setup without failing, I dont feel confident with them installing windows in my home. I can only image the attitude and difficulties I would have faced if they were chosen and something went wrong! Dodged a bullet, and hopefully this review will help you too!
