There are plug outlets in the building and outside and I always use them to charge my phone during the day and none of the staff bother me about it. In the welfare office itself, the staff are straight forward and helpful with your application. In usually in and out pretty quickly.

This system can use some help when it comes down to trying to call. In the notion of leaving a brief message and phone number where you can be reach, these people at the public welfare office do not believe in calling people back. As for going to the facility, the line is too long and one or two people will be assisting other customers. There should be a number system like they have at the Social Security Office, where you get a number be seated and wait for them to call your number, verify all information and why you need to be seen for that day. This would help speed up the process and no one would have to stand physically in line for a long period of time. As for the cell phone usage, neither text messaging should be allowed due to the fact that someone took pictures at the site and inside of the building; all well in done when this device has the same characteristics of talking and texting regardless of pictures being taken, what is the difference here?
Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone. I missed a telephone interview due to work,which might I add I put on my good case paper they ask you to sign if they cant get ahold of you. A week later I get a letter saying my stuff will be cancelled if I didnt have a telephone interview. I must of called and left messages for my case work Mrs.Cooper about 20 times and never heard back. Very unprofessional

Horrible!!!? The front desk staff is nice but some of the caseworkers are HORRIBLE they need new jobs....cause they are not there to help anyone...I hate coming to this office....DARBY OFFICE IS SO MUCH BETTER!!!!they actually care and do their jobs!!! I HATE THIS OFFICE WITH A PASSION!!! The caseworker that i was recently given to is tge worst ive ever experienced she was mean and short with me and spoje to me as if i wasnt smart enough to understand anything she was saying. Luckily her supervisor wasnt the same way.
I would give them a zero if possible. never answer calls, so unprofessional and rude, and somehow they said they lost my whole file with all my info on it including soc. complete scum all of them
When you need to get a hold of someone call the state wide number they will help you and it will get fixed

Everytime I have ever had to go to this facility I would stand in line for almost up to 2 hours. There are numerous issues with racial descrimination there. I am white, I stood in line for 2 hours with every other person who was not same race as myself being called up. They would say ,Next I would begin to walk up and I would be told , no not you, next in line !!seriously! 2 hours until a white worker arrived at the desk. Yes I know many people try and take advantage of the system but its not fair to racially discriminate against ppl. So my 2 little boys arent important they arent equal to the other kids there? They need to fix this system and corrupt facility who are discriminating severely every day! Horrible I hate this place!!
