Excellent experience! The pedicure was very relaxing and my legs were killing me prior to from being on them all day. Much better! Very friendly folks!

Get in and get out. Pretty straight forward for me as I dont go to get toes and nails painted lol! The environment is relaxing and they offer refreshments. There is usually a nice conversation that can occur if you feel like talking. Often I use the massage chair and close my eyes!

Every visit is pleasant, Very friendly and professional. Tan is my favorite technician. I get the dip on my own nails.

Great place - clean, beautiful atmosphere - both times I have gone, my nail tech did a great job on my nails - very neat edges, uniform across the nail bed. Tan was my nail tech the first time (the pink nails), someone else did them the second time - the red nails (didnt get his name). Even after a few weeks they still look fantastic. Ive bumped/knocked them against things and got some caught in a wire crate, but no damage was done - they hold up fabulously. The nail techs do not rush - they take their time and file my nails evenly. Once they even repaired one that was broken by adding a tip (I fully expected to be charged for the repair, but I wasnt).

They are very kind and they usually are very quick depending on what you want.

I went to star under the impression that they were good. A recommendation was given and so I went ok my techs name is Mary and her fingernails were not clean she took her tolks out of her draw I dont know if they were cleaned or left in there. All I know it wasnt very cleanNever once did she ask me to wash my hands I had to request it. Then during my pedicure she cut me and tried to pull the skin from the side of my big toe ouch it hurt 😫. Never going back!

Talented people. However, the day after I got my acrylic set two nails broke off. They were all off within two weeks. I went to get them fixed but they still kept breaking off without me doing anything hardcore to break them. I asked for fill ins but they said they couldn’t do fill ins. I kinda feel like I wasted $90 for a set that only lasted two weeks, and other sets from other nail salons last me around four months with fill ins.

They currently have a 10% off till 4pm Mon-Thur. Plenty of pedicure opinions and they offer something to drink while getting serviced. Very friendly... Ill be back!!

I went here for my first time at the beginning of the month for a pedicure, it seemed nice at the time. Now here I am 3 weeks later and my feet are peeling and bleeding horrible. Going to the doctor for this, but just wanted to warn people because I am miserable.

This place is awesome. Lovely environment and they serve coffee, juice, tea.... My nails ALWAYS turn out fabulous. Im impressed with the service and would recommend them to anyone.

Went to get a set and 2 nails off each hand came off within a week. Went to get it fixed they said they would fix what was messed up for free, but the whole set was messed up ans they charged to fix the whole set. It shouldve been fixed for free cause it dont make sense to keep some nails from a bad set so they can fall off later and I have to come back anyway, while I have some on from the fix. And its not my fault the whole set was bad. Not recommending this place.

This place is amazing. The salon is very clean and good relaxing music. They are so nice and friendly, great services. They do a great job. They take their time and very meticulous, I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to find a place for relaxing and release stress after a long day of work. I’ll definitely be back soon. Can’t find an other place better than that.

My new favorite place. I was a walk in and they were able to get myself and my wife right in for a pedicure. They were all very nice and gentle if you have sensitive feet. Complimentary drinks and tv for entertainment and comfort. T was great!

Had a great experience. Their work is meticulous and their service is excellent. They just opened and are one of the very few places open on Sundays. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great experience. Ive already made a follow up appointment... it was that great.

I could not be happier with the service! My daughters father took her to have her nails done somewhere in RVA and turned out awful. On the way home, we stopped into Star Nails to see if they could fix her nails. They were extremely accommodating. Fixed her nails and did her sisters nails without an appointment. Their staff is great!

I got mymy nails done less than a week ago! The gel is already cracking. I told the tech that they still felt tacky and all he did was put another coat of top coat. Worst nail job Ive ever had.

I have been looking for a good nail salon in the area for months now. I decided to give this place a try and I can honestly say I was impressed! I get the dip and a pedi. My dip nails broke (several of them) 6 days after I left. I went back and they fixed them! Free of charge. I did tip the person who fixed them tho. The pedi depends on who/what you get. I got a basic and it was awesome...got a deluxe and it didnt last long and the girl seemed not focused. I have had a OK experience with the pedis but Susan does my nails and she is awesome! I will say I dont think they should charge for scraping your feet. Any place I have been it was included but over all I like the place and keep going back:)

Been there 3 times now and have not been disappointed. I’ve been trying to find a consistent nail shop around Petersburg with timeliness and great service as well as technique. This place has it! Everytime someone different has done my SNS or pedicure and they have all been great !

I came in to get a fill and asked that one of my nails be soaked off because i hit it the tech put glue under my nail it was still sore i had it soaked off and my aint was green and infected because of the glue and was broke to where it couldnt be fixed i will never come to this place again

First time coming here based on reviews. Very clean and the guy who started my acrylic fill-ins knew what he was doing. Now, before we even started I asked if they could do the design I found online and the guy asked another girl and she said she could do it...by the time we got through drying my nails (gel polish), she told me she couldnt do it and didnt have the stuff to create the design I wanted. I spent a lot of time and energy going through pictures on my phone trying to find a design that she could try but every one I liked, she said she couldnt do or she tried and it didnt look good. She then proceeded to get mad at me because I didnt like the way she was doing the designs and I made her take everything off because the color was wrong and her designs were messy. Dont waste peoples time and money if you cant do a design they ask about from the very beginning. I will not go back just because I want someone who has experience doing hand designs and who can be creative when it comes to following a picture or just their imagination. They had no nail design samples either which I shouldve checked for.

Told me they was busy. It was 4:50p.m. and they close at 6 p.m. and no one was in there but they said they was busy. Definitely bad place to go

$27 for a standard pedicure and then an extra $5 charge for scraping feet because it’s “extra work” stick to the nail salons you know!! First and last time trying somewhere new
