We finally had our postponed reception this past weekend and our DJ, Will, was the best. He listened to my music choices and interpreted them really well. He kept the dance floor hopping the whole time and was able to switch music if the crowd wasnt feeling it. I couldnt recommend powerststion events enough! Very accommodating and easy to work with.

Amazing staff. I had to postpone my wedding to next year and then decided literally 4 days before this was it for us in our backyard. Todd was our original DJ but had that day booked but was able to have Rich call me right away and set something up. I will forever be grateful. We had the best night ever, our guests are still saying how much fun it was. I highly recommend these guys!!

Rich was extremely helpful while we had to change almost everything around for our wedding. He offered different services, expertise and a calming voice. Our small outdoor tented reception was perfect, and the whole tent was lit up beautifully. Rich is such a wonderful DJ and just all around great person who made sure that we still had everything we wanted. Thank you, Rich!

I got married 8/22/20. Yes, in the middle of a pandemic but Todd was GREAT throughout the entire process of everything! Always there to answer questions! He was great at dealing with a stressed out bride! In the days leading up to our wedding, we had a phone meeting to discuss details. He was very thorough and made sure he didn’t miss a thing. On the day off, the music was GREAT! He’s a lot of fun and interacts with everyone! He’s funny and has a great personality! I HIGHLY recommend PowerStation Events especially Todd for DJ! He’s great at what he does! Your guests will not be disappointed & they’ll have fun!

Everything we could have ever imagined and more! The whole team at Powerstation had our back throughout the entire year and a half of wedding planning. They were quick with email responses and helped us while we had many many changes and requests. Christi was our DJ and she was AMAZING! She played all our favorite music and our friends were all out of breath from dancing so hard - totally perfect!

We have moved our wedding date multiple times due to COVID and Powerstation has been nothing but exceptional during these stressful times. We booked with Kevin as our DJ and work with Sara (InBloom) for our florals. Both have been awesome regarding communication and help with music/flower selection. There is no doubt they will blow our reception out of the water when the time comes. Rich has been so helpful, kind, and professional when we have had to change our event dates. Our wedding was originally supposed to be in CT, very close to Cheshire where Powerstation is located. COVID forced us to move our location to Cape Cod and drastically reduce the guest list. Todd was our DJ and when I asked if he would be able to accommodate the change of location he made no hesitations and was happy to do it, even though it was so much further away. Todd was fantastic, making sure everything went smoothly from a sound and music perspective. He facilitated the setup and sound for the ceremony, helping with our live musician and easily handling some last minute technology issues. My wife and I had no idea as the ceremony went off without a hitch. He absolutely nailed the reception as well, playing a great variety of songs and keeping the energy going throughout the night. With no dancefloor there was a different feel to our wedding, but Todds music selection and energy made it all seem perfectly normal. Multiple guests came up to us afterwards to compliment our DJ selection. Todd really helped pull our wedding together from start to finish. I would highly recommend him and Powerstation Events

Todd was the DJ for our wedding. He was AWESOME and knew exactly how to get everyone up and dancing. Before the wedding we met with him a few times and he really fine tuned every detail that we were looking for. He is fun, will make you laugh, and really makes sure every detail is perfect. Sleazy business team. We had to cancel our wedding due to covid-19 and they are trying to force us to reschedule or give us 50% off the balance of our bill. All of our other vendors let us cancel and lose the deposit without issue... our deposit for this DJ was 600 dollars, I’d say getting a free 600 dollars is good enough but apparently not for these guys.Asking for more money to perform NO services is wrong and it doesn’t matter what the fine print of an agreement says. Everyone else seems to understand that.Do not book with these people unless you like having people try to stick it to you.power station events should be embarrassed.

We used Powerstations as our DJ for our wedding and we were so pleased with them. We had Rich as our DJ and he was so nice and wanted to make sure our reception was exactly how we wanted it. He played most to all of the songs we asked him to play beforehand and did such a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor. All of our guests said they had such a great time dancing at our wedding.I would highly recommend using them as your DJ for your event.

My husband I went with powerstation as it was a preferred vendor of our venue. We had the chance to come in and see different videos of DJs playing at weddings and choose one that seemed right for us. Originally we had chosen Chris but after a couple changes (nothing big) we were asked to choose another and we selected Rich. He was awesome! He had the coolest personality and was so laid back. I felt so bad because we showed up to the final appointment with NONE of our paperwork done because I had fallen behind on things and he just went with it. Wasnt concerned at all. We had a do what you think best approach and let him pretty much do whatever he wanted and he DID NOT disappoint! The music was amazing! He had this really cool upbeat personality that got all of our friends up and dancing. He really listened to the kinds of music we liked and did great following the flow of that. He was available whenever we needed him. I would highly recommend Powerstation for your DJ! and especially Rich if you get the chance. Thank you for everything Rich!!

Other than playing good music and getting the party started I didn’t realize just how important a DJ is on your wedding day until my actual wedding day. The DJ keeps everything organized and makes sure your day flows perfectly. They are the right-hand to the wedding coordinator. For this reason, it so, so important to have a professional and experienced DJ who has done many weddings. We were SO lucky to have Powerstations. They were incredibly prepared and on top of everything including having back up music ready just incase something went wrong with our ceremony band, to having back up equipment, and rallying our guests and keeping our wedding moving and on time. Chris was our DJ. He was so helpful but also nailed our taste in music and played all our favorite songs (including “The Git Up” even though I know it slightly killed him inside). He read the crowd perfectly and knew when to switch it up. As a result our guests had SO much fun and the dance floor was full all the way until the end of the night. THANK YOU!!!!

Powerstation is the best in the business! If you want your event to have lighting that amazes and impresses your guests then look no further than Powerstation. We have hired their professional and superb team for several events for Hoffman Auto Group, the most recent one being our BMW of Watertown grand opening. The sound and lighting effects were top notch and our guests were treated to a beautiful evening. Thank you, Al, Liz and team for another amazing job!!

We had to cancel the event due to Covid and this company would not refund our deposit. We even offered to only get half of the deposit and they wouldnt do that. Stay away from this company, you will be better off.

Our dj was very nice but I do think communication was lacking. Any change I made I would send an email with specific details/ instructions. Day of the wedding our introduction song was not started at the specific part of the song we had asked. Mother/son and father/daughter songs were abruptly cut short, not even at the end of the song with no fade out or anything, I have no idea why. Wasn’t the best experience.

David and Todd were great to work with. We got so many compliments on our DJ and music choices, and none were really chosen by my wife and I; they were all chosen organically by David based on the suggestions we gave him. PowerSations music choice system and they way they set up their appointments produced a selection that meshed perfectly with the crowd, the venue, and what my wife and I wanted. Executed with perfect timing & mixing, I have never seen guests get up and dance as quickly as they did and sing along to the songs.

Aside from marrying my now husband, choosing Powerstation Events was the best decision I made for my wedding day!!! Everyone was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Their office space is welcoming and beautiful. Kevin was so helpful in helping me find the perfect DJ to compliment our music tastes--- CHRIS, who did not disappoint to say the least! Chris had an awesome energy, a calming but fun personality (exactly what you want on your wedding day) AND knew exactly what to play for each part of our wedding day--everyone truly had a blast. Kevin also helped me find our live musician for the ceremony-- Travis W., guitar/vocalist-- I have to say hearing Travis sing/play the special songs we chose for our ceremony was top 3 favorite parts of my entire day. His voice is incredible he played DMB, Goo Goo Dolls and Ed Sheeran for us and my guests told me all night how impressed they were, as was I! Last but not least, we used In Bloom Florist through Powerstation and they did such a beautiful job making sure our vision came to life. Helena and Jennifer were both such a pleasure to work with, you can tell they truly love what they do and it shows in the creations they put together. THANK YOU!!!

As someone who produces corporate events for a Fortune 100 company, I typically give praise where it is due and try my best to forgot those events and vendors that didn’t work out. Powerstation is an exception in my mind. Every time I visit Hartford the memories come flooding back. Suffice to say, there is no way I would hire Powerstation for an event of any size or scope. In particular, the incompetence they demonstrated with regard to audio on my event was abhorrent. For those readers who are technically inclined: the console was a Yamaha QL1...the “engineer”, provided at an obscene hourly rate claimed that console did not have a tone generator when I wanted to set levels for video record decks. Beyond that, he was unable to control feedback or even turn the correct mic on at the correct time. Their videographer was also a joke not knowing how to make an image look how it should at a corporate event. My recommendation to anyone serious about their message being heard and seen is to look elsewhere.

Wanted to say thank you to Powerstation and their team for doing a great job at our wedding. We had an Indian wedding that happened on December 2nd of 2018 and Sara from the decor team and Al Vagnini, the owner of the company, worked with us for entire year to make this wedding happen smoothly. Both me and my wife were very happy with all the Mandap and Reception Decor and we highly recommend Powerstation for all the future events, especially the Indian weddings!

If you want a fun, easygoing, professional, and overall fantastic wedding experience, then hire DJ Kevin from Powerstation events. They were so easy to work with from start to finish, which I especially appreciated since I live in Florida and needed their help in planning my Connecticut wedding over emails and phone calls. They were extremely organized, and always made me feel totally at ease with everything. Kevin interpreted everything that I’d requested with absolute perfection, and he kept our guests dancing throughout every minute of the reception. He has been doing this for so long that he gave me invaluable advice on a lot of details, and even took a dedicated song I’d requested for my parents, and turned it into an incredibly special moment by inviting all couples to dance with my parents to their special song. Little things he did like that pushed the experience to a new level, and added so much to an already special day for us. A large number of guests later came up to us and said that ours was one of the best receptions that they’ve attended, and I think that we’ve got DJ Kevin to thank for that. We can’t thank him enough!

I got married this past weekend and Todd was our DJ he was amazing! Played everything we asked for and kept the music pumping till the last minute. Ladies DJ is key for a fun night and Todd is on top of everything even went over pronunciation of everyones name a few weeks prior with us and again as we were lined up for introductions. This company is so professional that they have video clips from all their DJs so you can pick one that best matches your style also, if something should happen to your DJ while they are on route they have a back up DJ ready to go! The organization of the company is every brides dream! If I ever need a DJ again in the future I will definitely go with Todd from Powerstation!

Dave did ny wedding and the experience was phenomenal.

We used Kevin as our DJ at our wedding. He was AMAZING! We knew right away that our personalities would be a match and werent worried at all. But the night of the wedding, he went above our expectations! He kept everyone awake during dinner (I was very against slow dinner music) and kept everyone dancing all night.It was a unique situation beause my husband doesnt dance and we dont like a lot of attention so we elimiated most of the classic wedding stuff (bouquet toss, first dances, father daughter dance, etc.) and Kevin was very understanding of this. At one point he announced that we would like all couples to join us on the dancefloor which was such a good idea. Everyone joined in and we were able to have our first dance without everyone watching. Our JP was also a family friend and one of our wedding guests so Kevin had the great idea to thank her again and have everyone clap for her! She told us that no one had ever done that for her before which made us even happier than Kevin suggested it.A lot of people can play a preselected playlist, but not many people have a talent to be able to read a crowd and choose songs accordingly like Kevin. There were no awkward moments and our guests had a great time.Thanks again!!

Its been 3 months and I have nothing to show to people from my wedding. Pam our photographer told me it would be 1 month for my pictures and its been 3 months. I never got an email from her with any updates or reasons why my pictures were taking longer than expected. Every time I called and ask they tell me that my pictures will be ready soon.its been 16 weeks and I have been waiting for the last month for the DVD of all of the pictures that I paid for almost 2 years ago. No one knows whats going on at this company, and my husband and I are the ones who loose in all of this. I have elderly family who could not be at the wedding, and its very sad that I am unable to show them the pictures after this long amount of time.This company was not cheap, and I went with them based on others good reviews. However, now I see that the reviews are only for the DJs and not for the photographers.
