Let me give kudos to the bar and lounge and breakfast service, employees are friendly at amazing service, food is awesome. However, housekeeping is horrible. I am staying in a room for almost 2 weeks. HK didn’t service my room after 3 different appointment which is required to give 24hr notice to honor. My three services request were not honored. I escalated to the manager, they lie to your face. Front office staff are the worst. If you staying here opt for contactless check in ( front office staff are not used to see people due to pandemic, need retraining.) please stay away from hereRed roof inn across street will have better service

Arrived a little late and the app wasnt working right, but Kristina made the check in a breeze. After a long drive all we wanted to do was get something to eat and turn in. She told us where we could go to grab something to eat; how to get there and even upgraded our room for our troubles. Such a wonderful personality and pleasant smile to greet you as you walk in the door after a long day. Definitely will stay again on our next trip up to Virginia Beach. (College move)

This was my first time staying at Delta, and from the beginning I was impressed. Tyler, and Savannah both  greeted me with a smile. It was a nice environment to walk into.Tyler was fast, and efficient when looking up my reservation. He had everything ready to go in a timely manner. He was very thourough in explaining all the great amenities :24-Hour Fitness Center, Breakfast,Pool etc..that Delta provides.Due to the length of my stay Tyler suggested an item, and it was a great suggestion. He said he would put in a request. Ten minutes later the item was delivered to my room! Tyler is a Rockstar, and a great Ambassador for Delta Hotels!!The quality of the room is great! It is very clean, water gets to the appropriate temperature, and everything works.This is the spot!! 5 Star!

This hotel is what a next generation yet cost effective hotel is SUPPOSED to be. They also offer military discounts which is equally as attractive. The top floor is the best with a beautiful view and sound proof rooms. The staff is also very professional and nice. I was just here almost 2 weeks ago and loved it. Try to get a room with a walk in shower. That’s what I forgot to request last time. But I’ll be back at some point this year!

Checked in on Fri, inside the front, was beautiful at first glance. Came back down from my room later 4 wet floor signs in a row by the check in desk, leaks everywhere. The room was awful! Sheets were not made properly cheap fabric, a previous guess had a tall glass outside the door that stayed there through Sun when I checked out. Trash under my bed from previous guess, towels were worn and old. This Hotel is not worth the money. The pics online are a sham. Will not be returning. An the extra money they hold on your card is ridiculous!!!!

There a few things that are always in Flux with this establishment. The air conditioning is an issue and the multiple holds that they put in your form of payment. One microwave for the whole business, u less you specifically ask for one. There is no signage to let the guests know that you can request one. But the multiple hold placed on you form of payment is what really gets to me , there is no need for multiple holds placed on the amount for your stay in this hotel.The only reason Im using them is I dont have a house at the moment and I work in the 757. Other than that I would be hesitant to recommend for family and travelers to the area. Lastly, uniforms for the staff is an issue, as it is difficult to tell who is staff and who isnt. The front desk people seem to like to hide or shy away from customers. It seems management has centralized customers service making it difficult for associates to handle customers service issues

Positive: The bed is so comfortable. The hotel is clean. The staff is very professional. A great location. Negative: The morning of departure someone kept slamming the door constantly. I could not get any sleep. My peace and tranquility was interupted and I did not like that. I never had an issue with this hotel as its usually pretty quiet.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable. We would have parked out back closer to the room but it was too dark back there. We didnt know if the car would be safe. I was surprised the bathroom didnt have an exhaust fan.

I had a wonderful stay everything was sanitized and the customer service was great. The gym had to be reserved ahead of time. The gym equipment was sanitized and they have a Peloton bike on the premises. The bar was closed on weekends but open for limited hours during the week. I didnt have a microwave in my room but was able to use the one in the lobby. I was told I could have requested one. The Cafe serves breakfast sandwiches, pastries, yogurt, coffee and assorted drinks till 11:00 AM.

This was one of the best hotel experiences Ive experienced in a very long time and I book hotels often for work and travel. The hotel staff treated my family and I like VIP guests and somehow every staff member seemed to know my name and address me by it. This will definitely be my first choice whenever Im in the area.

Stressful check-in. After booking a handicap room, telling the reservation clerk my father was wheelchair bound, the room was NOT ADA compliant. However, the manager found us a room, that had a wheel in shower. We came for a funeral, already a stressful situation. Rooms are clean. However, the reservations and staff really need to be better versed on the rooms.

Writing a review midstay because i didn’t want to forget to do it. Things started off rocky as there seemed to be issues with my reservation and misunderstandings on both parts. Everything was cleared up and rectified in a quick and courteous manner. Kristina was fantastic and made me (and my pups) check-in as smooth as possible. Here for a little longer but thank you Marriott staff for your hard work and hospitality. It can’t be easy during a pandemic.And don’t worry, there is a bathroom area for pets on the side of the building! 😁

Tried to check in and after giving my money, I was not made aware that you have to be 21 and I am 20. Front desk clerk seemed unapologetic and unhelpful when I asked her what my options are, and frankly didn’t know how to read my ID in the first place. “You just turned 21!” My birthday is in April, it’s July and I am 20. Should’ve just went with it.

I originally really liked this hotel, which I why my family and I chose to stay a second time. Upon arrival, our room was unkempt...not what you would expect, the bed looked as if it had already been slept in. So, I went to the front desk and the woman very promptly moved us to another room which was great. However, we quickly learned that our toilet lever was broken...I called the front desk and they sent someone up to repair it, once again...great. Then when my family and I returned back from dinner, the toilet once again would not flush it was a defective handle. I called the front desk again but I was told that the engineers were gone for the night and there was nothing that could be done, and that someone would be sent up in the morning. Understandable, but this was also a major inconvenience, I paid $200 to stay one night in a premium hotel as descried on the website, and my family and I couldnt even so much as use the bathroom. No one came up to fix it in the morning. I called again, I spoke with a very pleasant young woman named Erica who told me the manager would give me a call when she got in. However, when I checked out I spoke with a very nice-nasty brunette and all she could tell me was that because I booked through a third-party site there wasnt much that could be done and that the manager was not in yet. She (the brunette) was not helpful at all, her demeanor was less than desirable for her role...i left feeling very confused. She acted as if I was looking for a refund, or discount or to get over...when I was just looking for genuine some genuine effort, concern and hospitality as I am a very understanding person. Of course, I never received a phone call from a manager. I called yesterday on behalf of my deposit, which I was told would be returned, however, upon checking my account this morning it has been deducted AGAIN. To say the least, I am very disappointed in my stay and the overall customer service of this establishment and I will continue to pursue this matter...

I’m not even sure where to start.. I first want to recognize Ryan the General Manager and his whole staff team. They went above and beyond for my family. We stayed a total of 4 days. The rooms were spotless as well as the bathrooms ,we stayed on the 4th and 7th flirt with beautiful views I love the the argan shampoo and conditioner. They have VIP parking for elite members which is great because we parked by the door. The hotel is local by restaurants and greenbrier. It was such a great stay they made sure we were taken care of. This hotel will always be my go to when I’m in the greenbrier area. Thank you again to Mr. Ryan and the whole delta staff. If your wanting to stay here don’t hesitate.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a couple of issues in the beginning. One being that they didnt change the shower curtain you could see spots of colorful body wash on them. Also, our toilet had a small leak. We called the front desk and they immediately moved us to another room. Other than that our stay was lovely and peaceful. I wouldnt mind going back.

We had a large group staying here June 25-27 & we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even though we stayed during the Covid stage 3 lift, the services didn’t lack in any way. Savannah at the front desk was more that courteous and helpful. Keep up the great work, you all are awesome! The location is great and close to local shopping and dining as well

You can’t go wrong with the consistent quality offered by Marriott and Delta just adds luxury.- Breakfast is pricey- Great interior- Indoor pool- Conference rooms- Staff are friendly- Comfortable roomsThere are few brands like MarriottThat carry their quality no matter the city or state. If you’re a cross country traveler like me, you know the value of consistency. I’ll pay extra money for a room as long as I have some idea the photos aren’t telling me a bunch of lies (I’m looking at you, La Quinta).You’ll enjoy your stay here and it’s at a nice central location. You can drive to several food spots nearby with ease.

We must have stayed in one of their older rooms because the shower leaked, the air/heat unit didnt operate properly, and most of all, the beds were horrible! Not worth the stay AT ALL! Next time well book with Holiday Inn Express across the street.

What a disappointment. Besides the pleasant staff, this hotel is sub par. First off, I understand COVID and the safety of guest. However, with ALL the amenities closed, there should be a discount.Secondly, everything was broken. When we initially arrived for our four (4) night stay, one elevator was broken. This made waiting times longer. Next, one day into the stay, the second elevator stopped working. (Water was falling through the door opening) Nevertheless, we then had to use the service elevator for the duration of our visit. Imagine riding in an empty dumpster. Its literally like that! It smells horrible with stains everywhere. Its not fit for staff!! To add insult to injury, the ice maker on our floor stopped working. We then had to make several trips to another floor! This was probably the worst experience Ive had with Marriott. Save yourself the headache. Try the Holiday Inn Express across the street!

The Delta hotel is one of the better hotels in the Chesapeake area. It is also one of the best values anywhere. The rates are excellent, the staff is very friendly and the restaurant food is very reasonably priced. It has a nice bar area to get a drink after a busy day. I will be staying there whenever Im in town for business.

This was not a good stay. The longer I was in the hotel, the more issues I found. First, it was the mold on the shower curtain. Next, it was the diverter that had to be held up to work. Then it was the handle on the toilet that had to be held down to flush. Lastly, the air filter had not been changed since 02/18/2020 and was disgusting. After telling the front desk clerk, she said sorry with no emotion or care at all. I am really disappointed, especially during a pandemic.

Where do I start with this hotel... I pay $400 for 2 nights to get away from the ship. The first night (8/3) a fire alarm goes off around 11:00pm. Not to mention the weed smokers and loud music throughout the night. Sure they offer 10% off that night or free breakfast, cool somewhat of a compensation. Then the next day (8/4) power goes out for 11 hours. From 5:00pm to 4:00am, no A/C and no power. Next morning I ask if there is anything to compensate “No, the manager isn’t going to be in until later.” Okay, fine, cool. I go to work I call after and they aren’t compensating for it! I had to call 2 separate corporate numbers to finally get compensated for last night. It shouldn’t have come to that point! Whether or not if it was the hotel’s fault for the power outage they should’ve been more understanding from the customer’s point of view. Never coming back to this location.

When heading into the lobby to your room it feels very luxurious without the crazy high prices. When I noticed my room was next to elevator, I was hesitant in past hotel experiences, but I never heard the doors or elevator movement. Beds are extremely comfortable and rooms are amazingly cleaned. Housekeeping does an amazing job on every touch to take care of their rooms.

The Delta Hotel was a great place to stay for business or pleasure. It is a beautiful and clean space for reserving rooms for any event. There was a wedding going on while we were there and they were busy but staff was still attentive when I needed help. The food is excellent and affordable in the restaurant and Sequoia has a great personality. If you ever stay at the Delta Quinton or Joslyn will take care of your every need from the service desk. The location is also in a decent place and we found the traffic noise minimal while access to outside entertainment amenities being easily accessible.

We travel a few times a year and this was our most pleasant stay ever. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. Room was very clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The quick grab and go breakfast was tasty and fast. We were attending a conference there and the conference only allowed us 45 minutes for lunch and the restaurant fed us a nice meal and we got back to the meeting room within the allowed time. Staff throughout hotel was always friendly and asking if we needed anytime. Overall it was a great experience.

Quality service, clean linens, and hot water. I left my shoes behind and kept them there until I could get back to retrieve them. My only complaint would that their was no microwave in the room so I had to go from the 6th floor to the 1st just to heat up my leftovers. My husband surprised me with a trip to VA beach for valentines day, and planned to take us on a beautiful evening. We were not able to have said evening because of the wonderful and caring staff members who sought fit to over charge us for the deposit; where the deposit policy is clearly written and placed on the check in counter stating that a $50 deposit will be applied and held during the duration of your visit. Well, our bank account shows otherwise. The concierge proceeded to charge us for a deposit of $96, not just once, but twice, making it a grand total of $196; much more than the advertised $50. When we told them about this error they tried to say that it was an additional fee from booking with a third party company online. However, we never booked through a third party, it was a booking directly from their website. The total cost of the room was $217. And yet the deposit for the room is $196? We were dismissed with the horrible logic of You will have the full amount refunded in 3 - 5 business days. That does nothing for someone who travelled from another state with a budget specifically planned for $50. This hotel has false advertising, and they steal from their customer with fraudulent charges. We authorized a one time transaction of $50, not two transaction of $96! We are not a bank! You are not going to use our bank account as a reserve for your other transactions! We had to contact our bank and put a stop payment on the duplicate charges for $196. However, because it is a holiday we still cannot access our funds right away, thus making us miss out on the main event we were looking forward to experience. I will be posting this review on the social media accounts, as well. NEVER will we stay at this hotel or any sister brands because of the sneaky and FRAUDULENT activity with their customers!

I stayed here for 28 days. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel gym is far bigger than most places, theres a nice patio to sit at after getting drinks from the hotel bar and there is also laundry open to the guests. The rooms were kept clean and new bottles water was delivered daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel for short or long stays!

When I travel to the Virginia beach area I always stay at this Delta Marriott chain, although Im thinking about broadening my horizons a little because this delta is getting kind of relaxed in the housekeeping area. My stay was great I had to re clean my room because it was dusty & there were some issues in the bathroom. I wont say this was my last stay I will stay again because I did voice my concerns to the hotel, lets see if they listened and do better in that area if not then yes I will have to find another hotel to stay in.
