I just moved to the area and was anxious to find someone to cut my hair after going to the same person for ten years where I lived before moving. Its worth it. Its the most expensive haircut Ive ever had and its worth it. Theres usually something tasty on tap. Go say hi to Giselle. Bonus points if you bring her snacks.

Miss Tina did it again! We went to her a few months ago after a bad experience at another place and she did so well with him, we went back again for a 2nd hair cut for his 3rd birthday and he did even better this time. She listened to what we wanted and delivered, plus all the employees there were so nice and made us feel welcomed and comfortable, you dont get that anymore at places. Definitely recommend them for any hair cut and definitely recommend Miss Tina for your little one.

I took my son here for his first hair cut. Appointment scheduling was easy over the phone. Tina gave my son an amazing first haircut. All the staff were professional and kind. Tina was considerate, thoughtful, and wonderful with my son. She was so nice and asked if we wanted to save a lock of his hair as well. We showed her a picture of the style he wanted and she nailed it. Should he want another haircut I will definitely bring him back here. 5 stars for sure.

I love this place. It will be my spot whenever I am in town. It has the feel of knowing the folks around you that has been lost at so many shops these days. It also has the amenities of the spots are fancy. Kelly is my go-to and will remain my go-to whenever Im in the area.

I go here all the time for my haircut and the ladies are just absolutely amazing 10/10 would recommend they also sell drinks (soda, tea,coffee, water, beer) and hair products they also offer massages and hair dying. Love it if you live here in this area go here no doubt its also right near food

We got stuck in traffic (wreck on 64 made a 20 minute drive turn into an hour) and missed one of our boys appointments but was able to finally make it for the second appointment for our other son. They were so great to find us a barber to cut our 2nd sons hair even though he missed his appointment. Both boys haircuts were spot on and the service was AMAZING. We will definitely be back!!

I had a great visit! It was easy to schedule an appointment online and they had me in the chair quickly after I arrived.Its worth noting that I got my haircut amid the later stages of the COVID pandemic, and all employees were wearing masks and were abiding strict guidelines. I very much appreciated that.As for the cut, I came in with no real idea of what to get but asked my barber to simply make me look nice. She did a great job and gave me a style I wouldnt have chosen myself but love very much. Now I even put product in my hair.

Great place! They take good care of you. Ive never been unhappy with a cut. If you have a well behaved dog, you can bring them too.

Pricy but good

Was in need of a new barber and definitely chose well in coming here. In fact I wish I had made this my regular barbershop a long while ago now. The staff are all very friendly and they have a great deal of experience between them. I friendly welcome as the door opens, a barber that sits you down and asks exactly what you are looking for and then does it, plus a seamless operation in general including being able to easily book appointments online. Well worth the cost as you wont leave disappointed in how you look.

I started coming to Anchorage after another local barbershop messed my beard up. Heather is the only person I trust to trim my beard and she does an amazing job. Its always extremely clean and the customer service is excellent.

Love this place! We took our 2 young boys there for the first time this week and were blown away by the customer service and quality of haircut. We were treated like royalty when we walked in ( even though their naps had run long, and I had to reschedule for a later slot ) and Laurie & Kinley did an amazing job. I’ve driven past hundreds of times and never thought about stopping in for my wee ones! Price was reasonable too.

Kinley is great with our pre-teen son. She listens to what he wants and makes him feel comfortable. Great consistent style.

An amazing place for haircut/ hairstyle for all hair types. My black kinky and curly hair is never a problem for Heather! As my favorite barber and the longest almost 3 year barber friendship I have had with any barber. All of the barbers and staff are extremely polite and amazing at what they do. I wont let just anyone touch my hair! But I wholeheartedly trust her with helping me maintain my everyday fashionable image.

The place is very clean and spacious. The ladies cutting hair were very nice. They did a great job on both my boys cuts, even my son with multiple cowlicks.

While it may be a little more expensive than some other barbers, IT IS WORTH IT! I am always greeted when I walk in and offered a free beverage before my cut. The haircuts are consistently great from everyone! Definitely recommend and continue to use them as my go to barber in the area!

Absolutely amazing! Ive been looking for a barber to trim my beard, and typically they take too much off or take liberties with my cheek and neck line when I tell them to just clean up the ends so it can grow. Not Kelly!! I told her what I wanted, and she did a phenomenal job! I couldnt be happier and Ill definitely be going to Anchorage for all of my future beard trims!

I dont think you will find another place like this in all of Hampton Roads. Outstanding facility, one-of-a-kind service and wonderful people. Offering a host of mens services such as hot shave, beard grooming and massages, Anchorage is really over the top!! I had my haircut with Ashley which included a razor shave of the neck line, shampoo and blow dry. And if your not in too much of a rush (Or going back to work) they keep a brew on tap to enjoy while there! Anchorage is my new go to for hair cuts, shaves, massages etc!! I have been going to Anchorage for around 6 months now and I cant imagine going anywhere else. The staff is all professional, fun, and very skilled. The straight razor shave is something hard to find, especially with a nice beer to pair it with. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

As I continue my voyage looking for the perfect barbershop in the area my search may have finally ended. Anchorage was able to get me in the next day as I had hoped and at a convenient time. Cost was very reasonable and I wasnt charged to pay with card. Stylist was very polite and friendly while not being overly talkative, which normally is hard to hear over the clippers.

Anchorage is great! I used to go see Ashley when she worked at another barber shop, butnow shes opened her own place!Whenever you walk in youre greeted with a smile and offered a drink, the service is always prompt and the place is always spotless! I have never gotten a haircut from Ashley and not felt great leaving, and shes the only person I let bring a blade near my beard, not even my wife is allowed to do that. I drive 45mins to an hour depending on traffic just to get my hair cut at Anchorage and not once have I ever regretted it!
