Quality: 1/5The wrap was fine. No complaints.The tint is awful. The first attempt, all four door films had scratches at the edges and needed to be reapplied. Travis agreed that all four door windows were heavily scratched and needed to be redone, but when we went back to look at the second attempt, nothing had been done to the rear drivers side window, even though that was the worst one. After their third attempt, all four door windows still have issues. The back window film is scratched. I dont want this shop working on my wifes car anymore.Additionally, when we went to evaluate the tint application the last time, the car had ants crawling in it.Punctuality: 0/5It took two days for a roof wrap and tint the first time we dropped it off. The second attempt took four days to redo three windows, and the third attempt took five days to redo four windows.This shop had my wifes car for several days at a time over the course of a month in order to do an unacceptable job that still needs to be removed and redone by a professional.Professionalism: 1/5Travis was somewhat helpful at first, but doesnt know how to manage a schedule, manage expectations, and lacks basic customer service skills.Travis provided the quote and mentioned that the roof wrap we wanted usually includes mirrors. This later turned out not to be the case, which was fine but is part of a pattern of miscommunication and unprofessionalism at this shop.When we went to drop-off the car the second time, at the time suggested by Travis that I agreed to, the shop was closed and no one was answering the phone. Travis later said he didnt know the schedule had changed. We thought he was just the scheduler but he later told us that he is the manager.When we went to pick the car up the second time, after they agreed to replace the tint on all four door windows, Travis brought the lead technician out for us to show him what we were not satisfied with. We first pointed out the rear driver side window, and he said it looked perfect, so they didnt redo it (picture attached). He then stated that he had 30 years of experience, that my wifes car (a Mini) was a challenge for him to work on, that lighting conditions in the shop were different from sunlight, and that his squeegee was old.Travis doesnt know how to manage a shop schedule. He told us to drop the car off when the shop was closed and he wasnt there. We dropped the car off for the second attempt on a Tuesday and it wasnt ready until that Friday night, as the shop was closing. On Saturday morning he told us that the third attempt would be completed the same day, and when we called to follow up near the end of the day, he said Tuesday. On Tuesday he said it would be ready at 6:00 pm, so we agreed to pick up on Wednesday afternoon so we could see the windows in the sunlight. My wife and i got there on Wednesday at 4:15 and the tints still werent completely done and the car was only brought out when it was dark out.Travis repeatedly took phone calls mid-conversation, spoke to us as though a neat tint application was an unreasonable thing to expect when that is what customers pay for, and initially denied the existence of obvious flaws in the tint application as well as the ants that are now in the car. Eventually he admitted the ants were there but defended the tint quality. He said that he couldnt tell if the scratches were in the film or the glass even though you can feel it if you gently rub the back of your nail across them, and both previous and current applications were and are extremely flawed. He told us that he would relay that we were unhappy to the owner, but this goes beyond being unhappy. This was a terrible experience and we were provided a poor service.Value: 1/5We wasted $1000 and a month on a roof wrap and for the windows still needing to be tinted. Only the roof is fine and now we apparently have ants. I will be taking her car to a professional because I dont trust this shop anymore. Save your time and money and go literally anywhere else.

You will need a lifetime warranty with these dudes This is the fourth time installing tint.on the same vehicle. they have one installer and if he fks up u have to wait for him to correct it..made no sense of urgency to get it done right.. dont waste your time even if you hav time to waste....i paid for the installation and it is still costing me $because I have to miss work for something that should have been done right the first time. THIS IS SOME BULLSHITe waste..

Tint Daddys long term review. Full disclosure, We had two cars tinted by Tint Daddys, one a year ago, and one approximately 6 months go. i did not submit a review immediately after the work was done. Not due to the quality, expertise, or satisfaction. Both applications were outstanding, The skill, materials used, and the attention to detail was the best. I wanted to experience long term tint during all seasons, and weather. My results is spectacular. Both vehicles, (Acura and Subaru WRX), look so much better. Interior temperature is perfect, only use A/C on the hottest days. The tint looks perfect. The same as the day as it was installed. This is one of the best after market upgrade i have used. Will use Tint Daddys on our next vehicle. Great experience, great product. Best tint in town.

I had my car tented and a radio installed prior to my deployment to Rota Spain. Although they did a good job with the tent. The audio technician installed my radio microphone near the air vent, crack my dash board and the radio they sold me touch screen stop working. The tried to get me a replacement dash board, but I still have not received it after countless call with the manager Nick. I did not have a good exitance. Again if you want to just have your windows tinted, not a bad place, if your looking for good customer service try somewhere else!!!

Probably would not recommend unless you have been here before. I had windows tinted here, every window on the vehicle had flaws, tint was poorly cut in some locations. Had them redo it no cost. The tint is cut better no more large gaps. All work comes with a lifetime guarantee and they do stand by it which is impressive.

Scheduled an appointment to get a remote start done. Ive lived in this area all my life and seen a lot a business come to this location and go. I decided to give Tint Daddy a shot. I set an appointment and 20 minutes before my appointment time they call and say the installer cant make it. So, we reschedule. I come out the 2nd time and they cancelled on that one as well but they waited until I already arrived to tell me they cant do it. The guy even made a joke about i if this is funny. I instead went to Audio One off battlefield and they done an amazing job. Scheduling 10 more next month. Will never get my business again.

I took my 2021 Ram 1500 to Tint Daddys, not only did they do a fantastic job they had my truck back to me within a couple of hours. Professional, fast, courteous and very friendly. Like I told them I will be bringing my wifes car to get her windows done.

Great place to get window tint done. They did an amazing job on tinting my car windows and got them tinted quickly. I will be taking my car there for any other things I may want done to my car. They also do other things besides tint cars. They tint house windows, building windows , and any other windows you may need tinted. They also put car alarms in and work on vehicles. The staff there are awesome people and very nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to my friends and family and anyone else . Very affordable also. Give them a call , you wont be disappointed that you did.

Wow. Hands down the best tint I have ever seen! This is the place to go in Hampton Roads for the best prices and the best service.They also sell car stereo and remote start systems for the same great prices as their tint.Dont go to a cheap place because you will get cheap tint. Also I recommend getting ceramic because of the heat blocking. Its worth the extra cost especially over metal because that stuff blocks cell signals.

Really bad experience the whole transaction was out of nonsense I wanted all windows very dark and I even showed the picture of my other vehicle so the person can get idea and than showed me percentage cards to which I pointed at 20% and asked him if it is the darkest tint he replied yes after over two hours of wait the out come was light and the tint job was not dark also he was out of something and he couldnt even do the front windshield I am not happy at all I spended 300 dollars for a rip off job tint daddy you really need a mom

This place is not professional at all. Must be under new management. I’ve had 3 vehicles tinted here before and had a completely different experience! So let’s start with calling to schedule the appointment. When I called the person who answered the phone seems bothered by my questions. I wanted to know what the shop was doing during the COVID-19 pandemic to minimize the spread of germs. His response was that nothing is required of the technicians. However, he did offer to add a note asking for gloves to be worn. Therefore, I decided to schedule an appointment. Fast forward to the day of the appointment. Prior to showing up I called and confirmed my appointment for that day. All systems go. Well I show up for my appointment and the guy proceeds to tell me my appointment time doesn’t guarantee my slot and I have to wait until the other cars in front of me are done. Keep in mind there is one truck in the bay and one car waiting. So I am a looking at a 2-2 1/2 hours wait. Well my problem with that is why wasn’t I told that in advance? I could have made an informed decision to cancel or show up for the appointment. I just think that would have been a more professional response. Needless to say they won’t be getting any of my business or referrals any longer.

I been calling for two weeks now & no one answered the phone & I even want up there & they was closed Monday- Wednesday .

If I could give this place zero stars. First off I called ahead of time to a schedule and appointment , I scheduled it for the next day the guy was really nice over the phone. However when I got there I was not greeted i had to go find the employee myself. Once I found an employee the guy gave me an attitude. He didn’t explain the different tints to me , pricing or anything. So I decided to take my business to Advance Window Tinting in Norfolk where I was greeted with much more respect and explained the window tinting process & the different types ! Im all for supporting black folks but his funky attitude caused him to loose out on some money ! Do better have better customer service!

I took my wifes Volkswagen gti to get tinted. I got all 4 windows done including the rear window and sunroof. They left white residue streaks on all 4 of the arm rest doors, they did not care to wipe off. The vehicle also smelled like cigarette smoke after. The rear windows have scratch marks and now my headliner in the front is leaking water which wasn’t leaking previously till after i got the sunroof tinted.

I came to Tint daddy today to get some window tint. The price was the best in town. They got my car in a timely manner. They are very professional guys. They did an amazing job on the tint. I’m glad I came to Tint Daddy of Chesapeake.

I called a week in advance to make an appointment for the following week which had been made. So the morning of my appointment I called just to confirm as I do being the business woman that I am, and I was told they were booked. Then I asked, so even though I have an appointment at the specific time I was given? I was told that means nothing bc like I said we’re booked. He was VERY RUDE with me for no reason . I told him how unprofessional this was and I definitely wanted to make sure I left a review for other customers. And unfortunately I didn’t get the young mans name I could tell it was the same young man that made my appointment by his voice. Very bad for business and it’s sad a lot of our black owned businesses aren’t customer service friendly. All he had to say was Mam I apologize I know it’s an inconvenience and if you would like we can still take u at a later time or another day. But instead he was VERY RUDE and unprofessional.

27 May 2020, I went to Tint Daddy to get an estimate for a carbon fiber wrap on minor pieces of my car (side mirrors, inside and outside door handles and etc.) and a suede headliner. I got an estimate for the work, I agreed for it and put a $100 deposit. I was informed that they would put in the order for the materials and once they get it in the shop they will contact me to schedule an appointment. About a month later (June 2020) I got a phone call from Tint Daddy and was informed that they got all the materials in the shop and wanted to schedule an appointment. I agreed to schedule my appointment for 23 Jul 2020 at 5:00 pm.23 Jul 2020, I drove my vehicle to Tint Daddy for a drop off. I was informed that the work would take a full day and should be ready for pick up on 25 Jul 2020. A couple hours after dropping my car off I got a phone call from Tint Daddy and was informed that they didnt have the headliner. Which was confusing because why schedule an appointment if you told me earlier that you had all the materials. So because of this delay I was now told the car would be ready for pick up on 26 Jul 2020.26 Jul 2020, After almost the entire day being over and not getting any phone calls from Tint Daddy on the status of my car I decided to call the shop 3 times with no answer. I also messaged the Instagram and Facebook business pages to get a status on my vehicle with no response. Finally at around 6pm I got a call and was told they just started with the carbon fiber wrap and they still havent received the headliner. At that point I was a bit frustrated but still gave them the benefit of the doubt since they had good review ratings on Google. I gave them extra time and agreed to pick up my car on 28 Jul 2020.27 Jul 2020, I received a text message and was informed that they still dont have the headliner in their shop and wont receive it until 30 Jul 2020. But they got the carbon fiber wrap done and I am still able to pick up my vehicle on the 28th and schedule the headliner part at a later date once they receive it from their shipper.28 Jul 2020, I arrived at the Tint Daddy shop to pick up my car. Upon inspection I was looking at the details of my carbon fiber wrap and must say it wasnt that great. I saw some bubbling, incomplete closing on the wrap, incomplete wrapping on the emblem with the chrome still showing and even what seems to be a burn mark on my door handle (see pictures below). I wasnt satisfied with the job but at that point of them having the car for 4 days I was already frustrated and wanted to get my car back. I even had to cancel a doctors appointment because of their delays going beyond the one day work they originally said it would take.I personally wouldnt recommend this place. I had a couple of friends asking me if they should take their cars to Tint Daddy for a wrap job in which I told them to go look somewhere else. The fact that they couldnt manage their inventory correctly after 2 months of putting in the request and that it took 4 days to wrap minor details to my car. I can only imagine if I asked to wrap the entire vehicle how long it would have taken them to do it.In the end I canceled the headliner job since I couldnt trust them anymore. While the staff may be friendly its unfortunate that the scheduling, lack of communication, poor management of inventory and overall work was unprofessional. It also was causing me additional costs in transportation fees because of what was discussed in the job originally being 1 day into 4 days. I was extremely unsatisfied with the professional service.

I had seen this tinting business on the side of Military Highway on my commute to work everyday and decided to look online at the reviews before I made my appointment. Majority of them were good so I took my chances and called to make an appointment. I went in, got my windows tinted and was out of there in a little over an hour. Granted, I have a 2-door car. I love the way my car looks, especially in direct sun. I upgraded and got the reflective tint. Professional, courteous staff. I am very satisfied with my choice to come here. I will be back when I need to get rims and tires.

Got my 2012 Honda Accord tinted a couple of days ago and I love it! They did an awesome job! The price was only $139.99 compared to other shops that was a great deal. Only took an hour my windows look great! Will definitely recommend this place to anyone in need! Definitely live up to their rating, it should be 5 stars instead of 4.8!

If you have a foreign made car please dont take your car there...smh..the people they have tinting are horrible with there craft. Dont be fooled by the cheap prices and good customer service. It is only a mask for poor quality work. When you take your car somewhere twice to fix a problem that shouldve been done right the first time and they still dont get it right says it all. First tint job was a success so I went back. But this time wasnt so great. Tint bubbled up. They claim they have a lifetime warranty. Needless to say thats not exactly true. I went there today he they immediately started blaming/claiming that the window had been rolled down. Just not true. so I asked what could be done. They said that I would have to wait another WEEK for someone to fix it. Saying that they were booked. But when I was there ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was going on. Guys were standing around talking. So how are you guys so booked. I eventually just told them dont worry about it because Im not for all the back forth over BS. They ended being BAD BUSINESS 👎🏾👎🏾 All they had to do was just honor their warranty and they didnt do that

Good service but way to exspensive for basic tints

I really enjoyed my experience at 100% Tint. They helped to bring my 94 Mustang back to life. I came in on a Saturday and they serviced me right away. The cost seemed fair and the wait time was about an hour.Keep up the great service guys!

Decided to finally get the windows tinted on my 2006 BMW. I priced check a few other shops until my coworker recommended 100% Tint. They did a great job, there was no bubbles or anything. I had my boyfriends car windows tinted in 2015 and my guy loved them. 100% Tint & Custom Apperance did such a great job on his car that I came from Maryland to have mine tinted by them. They were able to get me in on the same day, and I do plan on bringing my suv as well as soon as Im back in town. The prices are real reasonable, customer service is excellent, they are professional, and this time I had the opportunity to meet the owner who is a very cool guy. He even sold me on restoring my headlight which made my car look amazing. Do yourself a favor and save time, money, and frustration by doing business in with the best in the Hampton Roads area.

Not a good place to take your car or truck to get your window tint. First day drop my truck to get tint they did not do the work, the guy in the counter told me that the person that does the tint call in sick if I can come back tomorrow and it will get done. Drop my truck next day did a real poor job on the tint the film had hold all over the back window and the door glass had pieces of residue of the cut film between the glass and tint film. I came back a third time and the same I gave up. If you want to give away your money this is the place to go, but in you want a good job TNT is the place to go they fix my tint and it look great!!! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
