Very nice place to have an event like a kids birthday party or baby shower.

The staff at this Rec Center are very friendly and accommodating. I only use the gym to walk, parking is great and it is very clean.

Most employees here are very friendly, equipment is pretty up to date, and the building is maintained regularly. There is a small play ground out back that most do not know about. Parking seems to be limited but this rec center does not see as much use so it is more then enough.

I wish the hours were more convenient and it would great if they have a bigger workout area with more equipment. There Stay and Play after school program is great and the summer program is too! My children are able to ride the bus from school to the center where I know they are safe until I get off of work.

The basketball court there is great. The weightroom is adequate, though itd be nice if there was a squat rack to freely move heavy weight. This place is easy to get in and out of and never gets overly crowded. If you can get your lift in using free weights and you dont like to wait, this place is for you. The price is UNBEATABLE. None of the Chesapeake rec centers have swimming pools, so they dont lost points for that. Would be nice though. Ive taken my kids there for summer camp a few times. Great price for the entertainment. A good place for the community all-in-all.

Nifty spot that ive been going to for a while now. Membership price is $35/yr with a $20 renewal for adults. Weight room is decent, but not ideal for extremely shy people. Its tight but you can get a good burn. Game room sucks, pool sticks are always broken. Locker room has showers and men who like to be naked in there so tread carefully.

Good kid friendly environmental stations! Great for after-school programs kids 11 and up.

Had my mothers birthday celebration their on 7/6/2019. Everything was setup for me. The staff was accomidating. The space we rented was perfect.

Went to vote. They do a good job. Nice enough. Looks like mostly senior events there, so I only really go to vote.

I belong to the senior center at South Norfolk Community center. I. Belong to the Niners senior club.there. We have meeting every Thursdays.

Great little hidden community center for fitness and educational/ meeting rooms.

I was not banished from that place, after winning a boon from the boatman of that dread river.I am not a son of Moab, and Astarte, and the many gods. I have not seen the sacred shrine, I have not beheld the monoliths and ziggarauts.Im just some fool from nawfolk that likes literature. Nice place, this Community center.
