Beautiful community settled in Deep Creek. Great peace with plenty of non-invasive nature for your reading sessions while sitting on your screen enclosed terrace. Excellent maintenance staff, quick to resolve issues. Highly recommended.

The apartments are a 10 with a peaceful and friendly environment. The staff goes above and beyond to help the tenants. I would highly recommend this place.

This place is overpriced beyond words! The company raised the rent and added a $30 fee for amenities during a global pandemic. They could careless about your concerns. The walls are super thin, parking is horrible, abandoned cars take up spaces, the buildings are filthy; to include the breezeways, and landscaping has been defunded. This place use to be a great place to live when the original owners were here and actually cared about the residents. I do not recommend this place for the price they charge for rent and the utilities/admin fees that are ridiculously billed to the residents each month. We will not be resigning our lease.

Avoid this management team. They are hostile to children. And they hit you for the cost of new carpet when you leave because they UPGRADE. Our carpet was spotless. We were hit with a bill over 800.00 for new carpet. I found out from other residents, they were replacing everyone’s carpet upon vacating. My son had friends come visit and the manager didn’t like the cursing one of the children did, so they sequestered the children who didn’t live in the complex. They WAY over reacted. Also, they fussed at my son (12 years old then) for coming into the club house area TO GET WATER FROM THE WATER FOUNTAIN!From the public club house area!! It wasn’t off limits to any one AND he was clean. He was respectful. They are not nice people!Apartment itself was very nice.After we moved, we LOVED Kingsbridge Apartments. Very warm, friendly and quick to take care of any apartment need. Usually responded to our call THE SAME DAY and apologized if they couldn’t be faster! I was floured. Cottage Trails mgt responded with “ Fill our a work order, and we’ll get to it.”!!!

Happy at first but this last year totally changedThey started raising rent way to much you can buy a house and your mortgage would be less than the rentMy lease was up and I gave my notice on leavingAt walk through yo make sure I left the apt in great shape I was told I had to pay 50.0040.00 fir carpet cleaning which is outrageous shy should we gave to pay that also got charged a extra day for water bill when I didnt live there anymore and slso got hit with paying 10.00 move out on the water bill they should handle that shame on this complex and what they charge when leavingNot worth talking about nothing will changeStill ticked off about paying 1 day more for water when I was already gone and 10.00 for move out feePlus carpet cleaningYour responsibility not mineAgain shame on this complex no other place charges this when leavingDont wait to refund my deposit asap I paid you for all on time

The staff here is wonderful and the grounds are constantly maintained. Small community that feels like it’s away from the world and quiet but still only 2 miles from the interstate. Can’t say enough great things about Maintenance man BR, always willing to listen to residents and take the time to understand the issue and go the extra mile to fix the issue! & Brittany in the office is an real advocate for the community and it’s residents. Highly recommend :)

Beautiful community and a quiet neighborhood. I love my apartment, it is so spacious and has an amazing kitchen. The office staff has been very friendly, I like that they know who I am immediately when I come in or call. No place is perfect, but of all of the apartments I have lived in this has been my favorite by far.

Beautiful neighborhood. Very quiet.

Ive lived here for three years and I thoroughly enjoy it; it definitely feels like home. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely for walking with my dog. I dont hear my neighbors and I never have. These are the only apartments with screened-in porches in Chesapeake, which is great for sitting out in nice weather; my cat loves it year-round. The grounds are kept nicely and I dont have to cut the grass! Having downsized from a house with a yard and established trees, this is a plus. Its a little pricey, but worth it to escape urban noise and congestion.

Loved our time here. Beautiful spacious apartments. Wonderful staff. Great neighborhood. Only complaints would be about other tenants. The people above us smoked weed and anytime we left or cam back home, wed have to smell it in the breezeway. Also there are some people that dont clean up after their dogs and when maintenance mowed, itd sometimes make the sidewalks not so pretty. But thats not anyones fault but the other tenants. Still a beautiful place.

I used to love it here and I really dont want to leave this review, as I was really hoping things wouldve improved but the recent water/sewage bill matter (mentioned below was the icing on the cake) so I dont see a choice. I really wish the new management cared about their residents. The old management that used to be here were the best hands down. I guess when you are selling a business/property to a new buyer, quality doesnt really matter; its the money that talks. From the time the new management came on, up to now, it seems that a lot of things has been going downhill. Examples are the grounds arent maintained like they used to be, the buildings are in need of power-washing, the stairwells need cleaning, etc. More recently there has been a major change in the water charges which caused a major increase in sewer charges. The water charges is extremely low compared to the sewer charges. A word of advice to Cottage Trails new management: provide direct answers to your residents by being transparent, have an attitude of genuine concern towards your residents and not have an attitude of well its nothing I can do, maintain the property neatly and ensure that its up-kept as such. The residents living here, dont pay pennies to live out here, so high dollars spent, should be top quality rendered.

We lived in Cottage Trails from Dec 2016-Jan 2019, it was everything you could want from an apartment complex at first. Maintenance/Front Office seemed to know everyone and their dogs by name. It was great, up until management changed from Drucker & Falk to Steadfast in the summer of 2018. Maintenance became an issue, were not very friendly, and seemed as all he did was ride around on the golf cart smoking cigarettes all day. The pool went from having an attendant every day, who sampled and kept it clean to it hardly ever being clean enough to even want to get in. The grounds werent kept up like they once were. Doggy trash bag canisters would sit empty for days. Dog park is nothing but a place people let their dogs go and not pick up after them. Sewer charges going up. We couldnt wait until our lease was up to move out of there. It is not a cheap apartment community, the pool should be cleaned and taken care of, the grills should at least work, the dog park usable, etc. etc.

I have lived here since 2013. When the new owners came in July 2018, it was the beginning of a nightmare for many of us. Communication is little to none; changes are made and accounts are charged with no explanation or contact. Sewer fees are 3 times the charges of water. Those of us who live in the apartments pay a trash disposal fee monthly for the entire community (and those who do not live in the community) to dump their trash. It is frustrating when you want the convenience of apartment home living with this many issues. My experience has definitely declined and I am very disappointed.

DO NOT MOVE HERE THE WORST PLACE EVER ! CARS GET BROKEN INTO AND THE MANAGEMENT DOES NOTHING. THIS COMPLEX IS TRASH PAY TO MUCH MONEY TO LIVE IN A BAD COMMUNITY THE MANAGEMENT DOES NOT ANSWER CALLS AND WHEN THEY DO THEY HAVE. NASTY ATTITUDE I LIKED THE OLD MANAGEMENT COMPANY. NEE CHARGES THAT YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF JUST DONT MOVE HER

Awesome apartment with alot of space!

When I initially moved into the complex in March 2017 I absolutely loved it! Communication was great, my neighbors weren’t noisy and move-in was done quickly without any issues. Since then management has changed twice and the communication and understanding had declined each time. I am a clean and quiet tenant. I have complained several times about extremely loud noise and nothing has been done. There have been several break-ins in vehicles and apartments thatvwe are onlyvaware of my talking to other neighbors. This is an expensive complex and there is absolutely no security for these issues. I’m sure the complex will not care if I renew my lease or not because someone else will probably move in shortly after so this will be the end for me. Good luck!

If you dont mind dogs barking all day and night then cool.
