Best car rental place! The first time I rented a car from here, I had tried other places w no luck & was ready to give up but after calling, they had a car available for me to pick up the next morning. Ive rented 3 different cars on 3 different occasions to go to Pennsylvania & have no complaints on anything, would highly recommend. 👍🏻

I have been renting both business & personal trucks/vans from Lance for 20+ years. They are the best in the business. In fact, you may not know this but Lance is actually the Doctor of Vehicular Rentology! Definitely the place to go for a solid experience.

I feel like the cars could have been more updated but good experience overall good customer service.

This place blows. My boyfriend rented a car to take a mini vacation and the first car he broke down bc the car was overheating after 11 miles .. so they bring him another car so we make it to our destination and we are going out to dinner go to get in the SECOND rental and the car will not turn over. Will not start nothing .. I will never rent or recommend anyone to rent from this place I don’t even no how this guy is still in business. He’s a cheap scam artist and it’s sick.

Thanks to Lance and Devereauxs amazing generosity, our non-profit was able to afford to rent their biggest truck and haul enough supplies down to NC for hurricane relief last weekend. Their customer service was amazing. The vehicle was top notch and the pin point vehicle for our huge fleet that went down from 3 states Follow the Budget truck!!. The supplies we took helped over 200 families and countless animals after they had lost everything. It would have been impossible without their help. Thank you for everything, and we will be calling you in the future, for sure!!

Highly highly poor service cars are always having red flags with their computer monitors going off for engine lights failure for the tire monitor system and the guy Lance the owner of it is a very very slimy guy weve run it what I mean by weave me and my uncle have rented for him for over 2 years now with his Impala cars and from the time being we practically could have bought every single one of his Impala cars that he has on his lots and hes charging a highly highly outrageous rental fee per week 367$ very very outrageously priced beings at the cars are exactly what the companys name is its a wreck there are a wreck almost every one of his car is break down within a month of renting its always something theyre overheating or the engine seizes up theyre basically what the name is all Rex Ive rented within the 2 years of doing business with this guy every one of his cars and as I said for $367 every week the cars aint even worth anywhere from $800 to $1,000 the most so within 2 weeks of renting one of his cars I practically could have bought them and Ive run it basically every one of his cars he owns for this business very very poor business guy and very highly would not recommend going to this place to rent a car unless youre willing to burn a hole in your pocket and end up stuck on the side of the road with a broke down car that basically you could have bought within 2 weeks of renting a thing

TO CLARIFY: THIS PLACE IS NOT A REFLECTION OF BUDGET.. WEVE RENTED WITH THEM BEFORE. RENT-A-WRECK CHERRY HILL RENTED US AN UNDRIVEABLE CAR. My husband and I rented a real dumpster fire from this place after our car got a flat in the week of Christmas (12-21-20)and nobody could order us a new rim in a timely fashion due to the timing. They lent out a car that was, first off, filled with chemical fumes. Since Im on Chemotherapy, Im extremely sensitive to chemical smells. That was a first and last on me getting in the vehicle. We originally had the rental for 2 days, but it took longer for the rim to come, so we kept it two more-note, at this point it seemed all of the issues with the car were cosmetic. In the total time we had said dumpster fire, at least the following issues arrose:1. The tire they plugged came unplugged. They came out to give us a new tire.... it was a donut. You cant drive over 50 MPH, or over 50 miles period. So.... thats really limiting (not to mention unsafe) when youve paid for 100 safe, drivable miles per day.2. The dashboard is only back-lit on the left side. So, at night, its impossible to read the gas gage or see the full speedometer.3. Oh, the big one.... The KEY WONT COME OUT OF THE IGNITION. So, you cant leave it in a parking lot ANYWHERE. What happens if someone steals the dumpster fire? Im not the keeper of the Ford Focus.4. The steering wheel shakes violently while you drive and when you turn, the column itself did not always stay locked in place.5. The top of the gear shift could be physically lifted out the bottom section, and would detach while attempting to change gears because the wires connecting the two pieces were cut....I could go on. But, I wont.We called multiple times this morning (12/26) only for my husband- the renter- to be continuously hung up on. After 5 documented phone calls, my husband asked if somebody was going to come get this piece of $hit from the end of his driveway. For some reason, Rent-a-Wreck (and this is a quote- the call was recorded) believes this voided the consumers bill of rights... and any responsibility they had to him as a renter. Luckily our bank and charge card companies disagree with them, and we have everything documented (including with the Cherry Hill Police, as well as the PD in our municipality). Anyway, pics for proof. At least some. Im willing to take this one to Court if I have to. Discovery and all that.Renter beware though, seriously. We get about 4 cars a year for short trips and vacations. Never a problem.... until this place. DUMPSTER FIRE.This place should have been a pandemic loss. Its a shame it took out so many real businesses and left us with creeps.

Utter incompetence.Stood for 40 minutes with one guy not wearing a mask.The kid didn’t know how to run my credit card, resulting in multiple failed attempts.I called ahead and told them what I needed to move. He tried to rent me some thing that very clearly would not be able to move what I needed.They voided the rental then tried to run it again, but were unable to, probably because they just cancelled a rental. So, here I am I need to move and I have no truck. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!Edit: I ended up driving over to the Uhaul by Mid Atlantic Retina on 70 and was able to get a truck in 5 minutes. Much better experience.

Bankrupt or not? You be the judge...

We had a lot of trouble getting into a rental car after our accident we contacted several major rental car companies and because of our debit card status we were not eligible even though the accident was not our fault we were hit by another driver and left there our brand new car scattered in pieces we were completely distraught and didn’t know what to do we sat in several offices waiting told that we were going to have help and then did not help they complicated our situation more we spent about $60 in Uber‘s back-and-forth between the major box rental companies the minute we got here we were greeted with smiles and answers we were not in there very long and they had us on the road Don’t always believe what you read our experiences here Has been nothing but pleasant the owner Lance assured us that everything would be fine and he did not let us down one bit we would definitely reuse this company and recommend anyone who’s having trouble to give them a call they will Have you on the road and moving along your way there a short phone call away and we highly recommend them thank you I hope this helps with your Decision

Ask for Dove shes extremely helpful or Lance hes the owner there a little company but they make big things happen if youre having trouble with other rental establishments give them a shot you wont be disappointed its always best to try places out for yourself despite what some of these reviews may say this business will have you moving along the way within minutes of entering the building regardless of your credit history their main priority is you driving out of there and having you on your way I definitely recommend renting from here there more then helpful they are life savers

This place was awesome. I had to go to NJ last minute and couldnt find a car in the area. They had a car for me, it was a pretty good car too. Not the prettiest but it ran great and the AC ran cold. I was thankful to have it. The staff was very nice and friendly. I would definitely use them again.

Im not able to use booked car with Rent-A-Wreck in Cherry Hill, NJ, because of locality of their business and mileage restrictions that are so strict so I cant even pay over limit. The worst thing is that I paid upfront and they refuse to refund saying there are no refunds.. haha, looks like a trap :). This is just not fair, the word wreck is there for a reason, I guess. Stay away!

Let me start by saying if you ever need a quick rental at a very good price come see Dove and Lance. Since the first time we rented with them over 3yrs ago they have been nothing but courteous and professional as well as very compassionate. We just recently lost our vehicle and had to rent again and without question Dove was more then willing to accomodate our needs. Dove is the most inspiring and positive woman I have ever met. Lance will go above and beyond to make sure youre happy and satisfied with your rental. I own a hair salon in Philadelphia and lost my car I a hit in run accident last year. I rented from them the end of November to March, and they were life savers to me. I was able to be on a flexible weekly payment plan. Once they realized how long I would have the car they gave me a better rate plan.....which was unbelievably nice of them.This Family Business was Awesome, in ways they didn’t have to be. I highly recommend them to EVERYONE! They also have moving trucks...so I’ll be calling them today for that.

Rented a car from here when my car was in the shop. Was able to stop in before work and get a car for the week. Fast, easy process. Had a Chevy Impala which ran good. Friendly staff, zero issues.

The cars are old n smelly. They rent used cars and the one I got smelled of cigarettes. It was unbearable. I used to spray perfume every time I used to sit in it. They also dont give unlimited mileage, which most of the other companies do. Spend some extra money and go for a good car rental. Also, the customer service is bad. The lady there behaves as if you are renting the car for free. Doesnt know how to treat the customers.

The staff here are very friendly, but that is where the good part ends. The car I rented from here was so bad I literally thought it was going to fall apart. How the heck do these vehicles pass inspection? I only drove it locally, but youd better pray before taking their vehicles on a highway. They arent kidding when they call this business rent a wreck. Their prices are on the low end, but its not worth it for the product you receive. Pay a few more dollars (its not much more) and go a major car rental agency.

This place is great theyll get you what you need, youre treated like family. I didnt want to finish our business together. If you need temporary transportation, something hauled or need to take a quick trip Rent-A-Weck is your place. I would give them more stars but 5 is all they have..

Good prices for rentals, moving trucks too. I went for an Insurance inspection of my car. Was in and out in 5 mins. Very courteous staff.

Found a van here that was 1/2 the price of any other place and the people are so nice it makes me remember the mid-west. They did mess up a couple things but were super helpful and went out of their way to make things right. Well use them from now on for our out-of-town rentals from now on just because they are honest, nice and low priced.

I have been using Rent A Wreck for a alittle over 1 week and 4 days had used them about 4 years Ive been used in Rent A Wreck for a little over a week and a 1/2 I used them 4 years ago for a total of almost 4 and a 1/2 months Ive dropped over 5 grand in this actual business I have never once had any kind of disrespectful,disrupted or very argumentative conversation with Dev,she is the counter,cashier,team member.If it wasnt for her the most loving and understanding person I have ever came across in a business aspect or Lance the business would not run as smoothy as it has ran. I had never been disrespected or had any kind of argumentative conversations with both Lance and Dev there to mazing people that I will definitely go back to time and time again this is one that I would actually tell people to run and go rent a car from very business very social extremely sweet and understanding this is the type of business.

Rented to me when no one else would. Hassle free. Friendly courteous staff. Reccomended. 👍

To any unsuspecting customers dev the manager is the nastiest manager to ever run a car rental establishment! I rented previously from this company. Today i call this specific location just to kinda ask a few general questions. She raised her voice at me, talked extremely disrespectful. Personally attacted me in the matter of 5 minutes. This location needs to fire Dev!. She isnt a good business woman. All these car advertised on this app are not the same cars they are renting. False advertisement!

Customer service was great, but on a one way trip to Alabama....we made it one exit on 295. Turns out the truck had a bad tire rod. Why dont they do maintenance? Our move has been seriously delayed. Glad we got full coverage insurance.

Clueless and unreliable. I figured renting a wreck would be cheaper than going with U-Haul, so I gave these guys a try. I was surprised when the price they quoted me was actually higher than U-Haul, but I went with it.I made a reservation a week before moving day. A day before, I called to make sure everything was good to go, and they had no record of my reservation. So they made a new one. Both times, the conversation went painfully slow as I spelled out my six-letter last name several times. The day of the rental, I arrived and discovered that there was still no record of my reservation or my phone call, so we began the process a THIRD time (spelling my last name out for them several more times). At this point, I was told that there was a $210 deposit, even when renting with a card, which no one mentioned over the phone, either time. I didnt have that amount with me, so there was simply nothing we can do.And that was that. Went home empty-handed on moving day. Thanks, guys!

Worst experience ever. So overpriced. They forgot to mention you get charged 30 cents per mile! And the store they run their business out of is about the size of a shoe box.the parking lot holds about 7 cars max and surprise surprise, they are all the rental cars and employees cars. Good luck with that one.

So they just called to tell me my reservation tomorrow morning is cancelled, because the truck might not be returned on time. I wasn’t happy but he hung up on me as I was asking if he could call me if anything changed. I was driving when he called and he didn’t like that I didn’t have a pen ready to write down customer service line to find a new truck.

They provide a variety of vehicles. I have rented economy cars and a van. They are professional. One time that I had the misfortune of renting a car that was overheating (which could happen when they rent older cars). They quickly and courteously switched that car for another one. I have rented at least 4 times and only 1 time had a vehicle with problems.

The only thing I give credit to this business is its name. They did rent you a wreck. The car I got sounds like its falling apart any time. The gas tank has some problem and the gas pump keep poping in every gas station. And if pick this place thinking its cheap, you will be disappointed because it is not. It claims to be $13 a day but I rent for a week and put 280 miles on it and it costs me $210.

Horrid. My wife and I are currently living in two different states as we transition job locations. She has no car at her location, so my brother-in-law and sister-in-law took her here. They gave her a hard time, wouldnt accept insurance with my name on it - I married her, she has my last name, and normally drives a car I own, in my name; cops even understand the concept of marriage when looking at these documents - and gave them a runaround until they were so frustrated they left.Terrible business plan. Go anywhere other than here.

I went from vineland nj to their cherry hill office and they said to go to atm up the street cause they wanted cash and when i got back 3 minutes after 12 they said the system went down at 12 so i couldnt get the car and they dont have much selections anyway it seemed the guy was being bullied by the lady poor service and nasty attitude so for me they suckkkkkkkkkkkk

I needed a rental asap when my car went down.They provided me with transportation immediately and they even knocked down the price of the vehicle.Now keep in mind that the vehicles are not new or even knew to the eye.Its a car that gets you from point A-B and I worked 37 minutes away so I needed something immediately.Grear customer service.
