Excellent service at Kay Jewelers in the Galleria Mall Cheektowaga. Darlene the sales clerk was very courteous kind and attentive to my need! Darlene deserves a raise in pay for the outstanding service she provided. Great sales clerk!

When going to kay at Walden Galleria please ask for lindsay, she was not only awesome but worked with us to better fit our budget without sacrificing what we wanted. Great place to shop at a great price.

Ordered a ring, never got any updates about it: Finally got curious and called the store, and the response I got was Emails have been broken, and were a busy location so we probably never got around to calling you. What a way to make a customer feel important 🙂

Asked the girl to have earrings and ring cleaned. Wow I could have cleaned it better at home. No effort taken. Also had asked about upgrading the earrings and the girl showed a carrot smaller...like duh you see can ours was bigger. Again no effort.

Got a ring for my girlfriend for Christmas, after getting her sized for it to be fitted it took them more than twice as long as they said it would be for it to be returned back to us (About 6 weeks) and was horribly sized. It didnt even come close to resembling a circle and the width of the ring was inconsistent throughout. They were lucky my girlfriend picked it up instead of me, about a week and a half later a stone fell out of it. We calmly returned it since I have the protection plan for it. After being told we would have it within 14 days it took them 5 more weeks to have it back for us. Not 6 days after getting it back, guess what happened? The stone fell out again. Unbelievable.This isnt even concerning the horrible attitude of the saleswoman whos time I apparently did not deserve when originally purchasing it. She didnt listen to anything I was telling her about my girlfriend and kept trying to get me to take out a credit card to get a $15,000 engagement ring with a finance plan.Ive been a loyal customer of this company since I was in high school. Every piece of jewelry Ive gotten for my family and girlfriends has been from them. This experience has been so horrible that the next time I decide to spend my money on jewelry I can guarantee it will not be with this place. Theyve gotten a few thousand dollars from me up to this point but unfortunately for them are going to miss out on some of my biggest purchases in the future.

I went to the store looking for a very specific item, and I was greeted by an older woman with dark hair. She was helpful up until the point where after it was confirmed that the item I came for was, in fact, not in store. She took a very condescending tone (obviously due to my age) and then decided to infer that I could not afford other items in the store without signing up for their rewards program, which would ensure a discount on a product. The store in itself has wonderful pieces, but the staff was just a little too demeaning for my taste. I wouldnt even consider buying any jewellery from there again.

Ever since we got my wedding rings in 2014 it’s been nothing but problems. Most of the staff is rude. They sized my rings and they came back not even the shape they should be and weren’t centered or soldered properly. They sent them back out same thing but atleast they were centered this time. They wanted to send them out again and I refused. The manager is rude (now the DM) she called my mother a liar about the wedding band we ordered. Tried giving us the wrong ones.. just nothing but issues. Issues with a necklace. Then a pair of earrings and I went back right away and the woman told me I was putting them in wrong. I explained I didn’t want them because I just couldn’t do the screw backs. She was rude! On top of that I lost some weight and had to have my ring sent in to be sized and didn’t want to because of what happened before.. I did and it came back so horrible. My ring in literally ruined. They tried giving it to me ruined. My husband brought it home and I took one look and just started crying. The shank was so thin j couldn’t wear it or it would snap in half. It’s miss shaped and the rhodium dipping was horrid. I called customer care and all they’re willing to do is replace the rings because we sent them to a different store and they can’t be fixed. I’m just at a loss for words. They ruined my wedding rings and hardly care.

I stopped in to look at wedding rings. The manager Andrea keeps harassing me about buying something. She was very rude. Acting like she was on real house wives or something. She was rude to everyone. Customers and employees. How does this girl still have a job?? The review scores say it all. Obviously corporate is not worried about being a reputable business.

My experience at Kay Jewelers was good. The consultants were very helpful, especially when I had to get my husbands watch fixed .They told me that it wont be ready until 4-6 weeks .They will let me know when its ready.

Went in with thousand of dollars in jewelry to be check and cleaned the girl that was checking and cleaning didnt even finish checking all my diamonds and then put in macine to clean and dumped everything on paper and brought it over to me. I was and I was pissed told her what the hell all necklaces were pulled on and in with bracelets and earrings and rings. I told her I never ever saw anyone with such carelessness and that not the way I take are of my jewelry. Never again will she touch again.

Doesnt know to much about jewelry to my surprise. Lady didnt even know how to use the diamond tester correctly. Kept coming up as metal. Of course itll come up metal if you keep missing the diamond....

Guy agrees on an out the door price at 1,400.00 then adds taxes at the register and says he wont budge... what a dirty salesman ... out the door means when I walk out the door Ive only spent 1,400 not 1,521.00 ... low class employees

They dont tell you any information on payment plans, and there is always atleast a 20 minute wait to get any service at all. Besides that the staff are very friendly, and there is usually some sale running.

Out of all the years that Ive been shopping at Kays, this past year has been the absolute worst. Besides the Asian girl always being so pushy with sales and trying to convince you to buy the most expensive items, I never had much of an issue until now.I bought my husbands ring from here late 2014. Replaced two diamonds with sapphires. We didnt get married until 7 months ago. I always brought the ring in to get inspected prior to the wedding. Everything was good. After the wedding, we brought our rings in for inspection, one of my stones was loose and needed to be sent off. So we sent his ring out as well to get dipped in rhodium. Two weeks later when we went to pick it up we notice a change with his ring. It was brushed. We brought it to their attention and they gave us the option to send it back but my husband decided not to. Months later, after his ring finger kept breaking out, we figured he must be allergic. I figured Ill go buy a platinum ring for him and trade in his old one.....so I thought. I approached Aly, inquiring about buying a platinum ring for my husband. She stated that they didnt carry any in the store but that I could get one made just like the one we already had. Which wasnt true, so she proceeded to show me a Stellar book where I was able to pick out a ring from a very small selection. I went back two weeks later to pick the ring up and guess what.....it wasnt the ring that I ordered. This time Andrea K helped me. Needless to say, I was very pissed off. We looked through the Stellar book together to find the ring that I wanted, and she made a phone call. Apparently in the Stellar book, they have the same item number listed for two different rings, but the Stellar rep insisted to Andrea that the two rings were the same. Andrea debated with her on the phone for a while but nothing changed. So Andrea said that theres a ring that they carried in the store that was almost identical to the ring that I wanted and told me she can order it in platinum. Keep in mind that Aly never told me this. She pretty much just pulled the book out and said I had to order a platinum ring from the book. So now, Im really pissed. I had to put a decent amount of money down with Stellar to place the order only to get the wrong ring back. The store manager says that she will apply the down payment towards the new ring, which will take about 2 months to come back. And not only that, I cant even trade in the old ring towards the new one. Why, you ask? Because I had two sapphires put in the ring in place of the original diamonds. The trade have to be diamond for diamond, whatever that mean.Needless to say, once I get my husbands new ring, in two months, I will NEVER do business with Kays ever again.
