Just wonderful! In contrast to several other local rescues, Pets Alive gets right back to you, shows all options for adoption on their site and follows up thoroughly. They are very friendly, very organized, and very focused on healthy placements for their dogs. I am so glad I worked with them after adopting two bonded little dogs. Absolute darlings! Put an application in and never received a response and when I emailed them to ask if they ever received it, they never answered me.

We adopted our little Derby from Pets Alive only a week ago. We were super impressed with every step of the process. The application was thorough but easy to complete. they responded super fast and were able to match us with a dog who they were about to transport. They kept us updated on every step of the process and even brought him to us for his home visit. They provided us with physical and digital copies of all of this records including his vet history. Overall 11/10 experience. We will adopt from them in the future and recommend them to anyone adopting in WNY!

Wonderful rescue! They help save so many dogs from high-kill southern shelters (and locally). They really go above and beyond.

I wanted so badly to rescue my next dog/family member. Every rescue has you fill out a five page app. Then they have to approve you. If the dog you want if there after that great. If not you can look at others.When you connect with a picture of a dog you dont want to wait 2 weeks.

We had spoken with Marilyn about adopting one or two small female dogs. After a short time, she called and let us know that she had two sister poodle mixes. Within two and a half hours, our family grew from two to four. We couldnt be happier. Zoe and Emma are the perfect dogs.

The dogs are all in foster homes but their website has pictures and a write up on each dog along with an application.
