They take the stress out of tax filing and are knowledgeable of tax credits and stay current with the new tax laws. They really have taken the tax filing stress off of my plate and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I have a few small businesses. I was recommended to Ryan Hood & talked thru the businesses in detail 6 months before the taxes needed to be filed. He quoted me $600-900 for all the intricacies of my taxes. When it came down to it it was almost 4x the quote in charges. He wasn’t really involved from my end, had to schedule over a week in advance just to ask a question, then was billed $225/hr for an hour for a 6 min discussion. They did make a mistake that they later fixed, yet at first I was billed for the time it took. Ryan did remove those charges after I brought them to light. His workers charged $95/hr for each 5-20 min question. He did in the end coming down to near the original quoted range and was fair in the charges. His employee Tracy was very friendly and helpful, although I wasn’t aware each text or short question was being billed at an hourly rate. I think this may be normal with CPAs so this is also a learning experience for me.
