I was very excited to get my graduation nails done. Since I am not from around the area, I searched for the nearest nail place, I found Dannys Nails. I go inside the nail salon and asked for a manicure. I then told the lady what color, and we proceed. Through the entire time, she seemed like it was a problem to do my nails or if doing my nails bothered her. Through the process I told her I had requested a manicure, in a calm way. She replied back, with a loud and hostile attitude and I did not know how to react to such disrespect. To top it off, she started mocking me and I told her she was being rude and that she should feel ashamed to treat a new customer that way. I sure enough took my business somewhere else, where I had a better experience.If you are looking for a good nail salon with friendly service THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! I will never go back again, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, rude staff, and messy environment.

Dannys is my favorite nail salon, I dont need a fill-in for 2-3 weeks, anywhere else Ive been I have to get a fill-in weekly. Im also ALWAYS happy with my end result.

I went to get my nails done. I moved to brainerd and usually went to serenity nails in hixson, so I wanted to try this place because it’s obviously closer and had decent reviews. I had got a gel set and picked my colors. The lady who did my nails did an AWFUL job. The powder she used was apparently transparent. I did not know this and was not warned. I kept waiting for it to get darker and it never did. When she finished I told her I wanted it to be darker and she told me it’s a transparent color. I said “oh okay, well can we add on a darker pink?” And she told me no. I went to the car and sat in the parking lot for 2 minutes and went back in and asked to speak to the manager. They guy points to the lady who did my nails. She comes up and says “we did not pick the color, you did. You should have told me on the 1st or 2nd nail but you didn’t. I can’t do anything because all 10 are done and it would take a long time to get the color off.” I told her how I didn’t know it was a transparent color and that I didn’t say anything cause I was waiting on it to get darker. She told me all that in a rude tone and refused to fix the issue. Now I have ugly nails. If you’re gonna own a nail salon, or any business for that matter, LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I was not rude or mean to her and didn’t deserve her rudeness back. DONT COME HERE. I was told by 1 person and another at the salon they only let a guy named “Danny” do their nails. THAT SAYS A LOT ABOUT THE LACK OF SKILLS AND SERVICE THIS PLACE HAS. This is my first review for a place and that says something. I can deal with bad customer service to an extent. These nails are NOT worth $40

These individuals are not Christians! They will not speak to you while performing your service, they speak to one another in their own language, and their work is subpar at best. Why are they still open? Who knows. Maybe its a money laundering operation or they are trafficking Orientals! Do. Not. Go. There!

I just moved here and was looking forward to do my eyelashes like i do back home. I called ahead just to make sure they had someone that was there for lashes. He scheduled me for 1:30 when it had been around 12:40 when i called. So as i sit there no one has greeted me, or asked if i had a appointment and what i was there for.. I sat down waiting, as another woman came in with her kids. 20 min later the owner while finishing his cigarette, looks at me and says,have you been helped? . As im sitting there and say no not at all as im telling him that i had a appointment already scheduled. He then responds me tell me your gonna have to wait shes finishing someone elses nails. So i tried be calm, as i wait another 25 min goes by and she finally takes me back. She asked me what type i want,as I said not too long but an in between of medium sized individual lashes. She says okay, as shes finishes my eyelashes i get up and see that i ended up looking like a drag queen. They did not look natural long medium. I honestly thought this was a joke after i tried to tell her that i didnt like them. She then told me there was nothing she could do and since they are already on i still needed to pay.My lashes were clump, thick and looked as if i bought them from a cheap store for $2 bucks. This was my first time feeling disrespected in a whole new place. As i was messing with the lashes she calls the next girl back and lies her on the chair as im still standing their telling her these are too much i dont want this. I start to walk out as she follows me to beat the owner to the register to then tell me only $20 dollars, i said oh so your still going to charge me for not wanting them AND not liking them? and cut the price $10 dollars down to make it $20 instead of $30, thats fine ill be leaving a review everywhere i can to let people know how you do POOR business. As i went home and took them off, i realized why she stated that she couldnt take them off. These lashes did not come off as individual, the entire set came off as one. Listen to reviews and dont go here. I was referred to this place from one friend. As soon as I walked in the door the lady had an attitude and acted as if she didnt wanna help me. As I sat there for a while, she began to smile but just a little bit. When I got up to sit under the dryer she did not help me with my things and therefore, my jacket fell on to my toes and messed up the big toe. Instead of removing the Polish and repainting them, she painted over them. I sat under the dryer for to out 20 minutes. I went on about the rest of my evening and about 2 hours later I bumped up against something and it took the pain off. I went back the next day expressing that I was on my way out of town and asking them as she could repair it They told me I would have to wait 2 hours. It was actually her fault because she should a did it right after the polish was messed up. Even if she asked me to pay for I would have. This place is horrible and they seem racist and I will never go here again.

My nails were not done correctly when I got a pedi as well she made a cut on my big toe and it’s been sore for days and still bleeding she clearly had no idea what she is doing do not go here and waste ur time or money I have pictures as well

Don’t recommend going it you have a shape to your nails, the guy that did it I was guessing he was the owner. Most of the gel polish were old and crusty. Paid $30 for a fill and gel polish. Hopefully when I go to another one they do a better job.

I used to love Dannys that was my go to... But when I get my nails done they singDont start messing up until like 2-3 weeks in... I got my names done not even a week ago & the polish is already coming off.. I had a full set by the way. My nails are shaped horribly ¬ even! The lady doing my nails was rushing. The bad part about it is.... I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN THERE! & it was only 5 something. Highly upset & disappointed because they used to be my favorite now theyre just terrible. :( what happened you guys?

Walked in at 6:52pm and the owner right away said their closed. Then asked me what services did I want I said nails and toes. He then talks it over with his coworker and says we are closed. Horrible customer service. Will never visit this location again!!

Terrible. The female owner at this location is rude and unprofessional! On 2 separate occasions I asked for a design displayed within their shop and was told Danny could not do it or he didnt have time (after they had already completed my polish). Danny sat there and never said a word. I will never spend my money here again. Who cares about the quality of work Danny can perform, if when you walk in the door the atmosphere is drab, ambiance is lack luster and most of all, his arrogant, condescending wife puts on a fake smile and has no customer service skills. If you go along, shell get along.

Dirty environment and implements. Old, sticky nail polish he kept thinning down with acetone during my manicure. Didnt even do a hand/arm massage but I didnt complain because he had long, dirty nails and a ragged bandaid on his thumb. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Terrible and awful customer service I was treated horribly because I’m Muslim I entered they didn’t even acknowledge me nor was there any customer inside when the Asian lady got up I asked her can I get service she was very nasty I said it’s ok I can go somewhere else she said go somewhere else

I went in yesterday at 6pm for a fill in. I asked the lady if she could do marble? She started speaking to Danny in her native language and then said aww honey.. he ready to go. My thing was i let her know i just wanted 2 fingers done in marble the rest just regular polish. After he went fussing on in his language i just decided not to get my nails done there. She had an entire hour to do a fill in, it doesnt take that long. What happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE?! Ill never go back there again to spend any of my money. And Ill make sure to spread the word.

Ive been going to Dannys Nails before they where there. Hannahs mother started off doing my mother and I nails for 8 plus years. I only go to Hannah to get any service! My experience may not be your experience, over all I love the work she does.

Will not be going back. New in town and needed a pedi, should have walked back out when I walked in and saw no customers at all. It was a woman that did my pedi and I had to ask her re cut my nails since they looked uneven and she acted completely irritated, there wasnt any kind of massage, she rushed thru it, and she did not do a good job painting my toes. I am also questioning the cleanliness of the place since all she did to the purple scrubber she used, was use a nail brush to scrub it off inside my used foot water and put it back in the bucket she got it out of! Hopefully I dont get a fungus! I was completely grossed out by the owner walking around barefoot.
