These guys are awesome! I’m sure I got on Amy’s nerves today calling so much but each time she was so patient with me. We wouldn’t use any other roll off can business for our tree service. They have the most competitive price in town, and you cannot top their customer service!

Not sure what the negative reviews are all about. These ladies have been very courteous and polite with me every time Ive spoken with them. They show up every Thursday and even put the lids back on my cans instead of just throwing them on the ground and leaving. Ive never had a negative experience with this company.

They are very rude if you ever call to talk on the phone. Highly unprofessional. I used the service for two years. On July 12 on chambers street one of there drivers ran me in to a yard. When I called to let the company know they have drivers like this. The lady on the other end of the phone acted as if I was lying to her. Needless to say I canceled my service. I do not recommend this company.

Friendly, Reliable and unlike Republic Services (which I used to have) I NEVER have to pick up trash out of the road after they leave and HALF the cost!

AWFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, INCREDIBLY RUDE!!! My husband made a mistake and put carpet and the padding in trash bags and in the trash bins along with out trash for pick up. He canceled the service because we are moving. They dumped out the bins in front of the house and left the actually trash. I completely understand leaving behind the carpet and the padding. Not disputing that, that was our error, but dumping out the trash and leaving it behind?? Why?? Common sense, would have been OF COURSE leaving the carpet and the padding behind, but taking the trash. Even so, we paid them take the trash. The service they provide is trash service. The lady that answered, was incredibly rude. Kept talking over me wouldnt let me say anything, said a fake apology. Accused me of cussing and yelling at her, and hung up on me. I never ONCE raised my voice or cussed at her. I was frustrated, and angry that they just dumped the trash out in front of the house and left it. I filed a complaint with the BBB detailing the entire incident and stated the word I used that she also said as well during the conversation prior to hanging up on me. If I cussed at her, then she cussed right back at me using the same word. She also argued with me about what type of trash we had. She said her guy had taken a picture of the pile of trash he left, and I had left coke boxes, the carpet and the padding. I told her, no it was a cereal and pizza, she said coke. We had pop cans inside a bag of regular trash. So much for a supposed Family Business. We chose them because of that. We should have listened to my Brother and Sister in law from the beginning They said to use the City trash service, they take everything from them and never had a single problem and were nice.

I cant even begin to explain what a RUDE and horrible experience I have had trying to deal with the passive/aggressive person that Pat W. is. Ive had enough. I dont need a grown woman speaking to me as if I were a deaf/mute child and harassing me! Apparently Pat has just ran over people so much that she thinks its ok. Well, Im a grown adult also and know that I have options so I will no longer be using this service.

It has been an absolute please to work with K&K. I work for a roofing company and we need several roll-off dumpsters a week. Often times we need them next day and K&K always delivers! They are very responsive and the office staff (especially Amy) are awesome! Highly recommend!

I called a few weeks ago and asked about a 30 yard roll of. With the recent storms, they told me they didn’t have any available but would reach back out to me on July 1st. I needed it for the 4th of July weekend to do some cleanup on my property. July 1st came and Amy called me. I booked it. They delivered on Friday the 3rd and picked up bright and early July 6th, just as we discussed. I could not be happier with the service I received. They were professional and punctual. Also, the price was a couple hundred dollars less expensive than other local companies. I’ll certainly use them again and refer them without hesitation.

Been with K & K for several years now. Lost our garbage can during the Easter tornado, they replaced it as soon as things were clear enough to get through. The lady who has answered our call, then and previously, has never been anything other than nice & helpful.

I have never had any issues with this service. I have been at the same residence for about 6 years now. There have been multiple times I have slacked on remembering to put the trash by the road the night before for pick up. The truck that runs our street has an amazing crew because those days I have forgotten to do my part and put the trash out, they have grabbed it from where it sits and still pick it up. With a lot of families having possibly one or both parents working from home right now and having kids all day everyday, the trash seems to build faster. I am definitely trying harder to remember the trash the night before, but I’m grateful for the team on my street that has grabbed it when I’ve forgotten. Y’all are awesome. I spoke with the Office Manager..Pat..and she was very rude and insensitive after speaking to her about my garbage service. We did not receive service for over 2 weeks due to all the tornado damage. When I inquired about that missed service, she talked all over me and asked me when was I going to pay my next bill...although we didnt get service for 3 weeks. I asked to speak to her Supervisor, and she told me there wasnt one. I told her, I may call back to cancel my service, if I found something better. She told me my service will already be canceled...although I did not order the cancellation. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Im surprised to see she is still working there after reading multiple reviews about her awful customer service skills. Thats money walking out the door over 1 persons lack of effective communication.

Trash service is inconsistent, the lady with customer service (Pat) was rude and very quick to help us disconnect. There are too many options in the area to have to deal with unprofessional customer service and dereliction of duties.

Dissatisfied with their service. Always have An issue with them of some kind. When I call in to them they are rude and when I say I’m gonna change company’s I was told they dont care. I asked for a supervisor to call me back with no reply.

I have been at the same location (Mahan Gap/Hwy 58 area) for over 20 years. At first we were with a different company and they were very good about picking up extra bags and boxes. But after some time they went to trucks that only have a driver and a mechanism that empty the cans. They would no longer take anything that was not in the can. And their prices kept going up.I finally got fed up and switched to K&K about 10 years ago and have been very happy with them. They still have actual people that ride on the trucks and empty the cans. They will take extra bags on occasion as well as boxes that wontt fit in the can. Also their price is good and has not gone up in a long time.The guys that work on the truck that services my street are always friendly and helpful. Got to be a tough job in all sorts of weather but they always smile and wave if I am out there.I have only had one interaction with the folks in the office that I can remember. My can broke and the lid would not stay on correctly. I called and they brought me a new one pretty quickly.There are several other companies out this way but I have had no reason to consider changing.

We have been customers for almost 5 years and we have always had great service. Even when I call to make payments, sometimes late, they are always friendly. The only wish I have would be more options for recycling, but they do get our cardboard.

Do not believe the obviously FAKE 1 star reviews! Notice how a lot of them have left only 1 review (or very few) and most say rude somewhere in the review? LOL. Probably the same person over and over. More than likely written by their competitor(s) - ANYONE with a Gmail account can write a review and you DO NOT have to be a REAL customer!I have been a customer for almost 2 years and service/price is GREAT! Once I even forgot to put my can out on time and I called to ask if they could swing back by. I did not expect them to, but the lady on the phone immediately radioed the driver and had him swing back by. I have even had a couple of extra bags by the can and they got them as well. AWESOME! Again... IGNORE the fake bad reviews! There may be ONE legitimate bad review, but I seriously doubt it as this company is awesome!

The first time I was a few weeks late on a payment, I gotta a call from them asking if I wanted to continue using their service. I said yes but explained that money was really tight at the moment. I was asked when I could pay, and I told her that I could the following week. She told me to go ahead and put my trash out and it was picked up the next day even though I was so behind on my payment. Great service and friendly staff.

As a former employee K&K doesnt care about customers. All they care about is there customers money. Most of the trucks dont work properly. And drivers will speed through your neighborhood.

Wow. NO idea whats going on with these other people. Weve been customers for 3 years and never had a single issue. Theyve always been super-nice on the phone. We get great courteous service at a good price and have no plans to switch.

I have been doing business with this company for over 10 years. Never once had a problem. They have even sent a driver back to my house to collect my trash when I forgot to put it out. I have used the roll off dumpsters for multiple flip houses and construction projects. The only time we ever had any issues is when the card my auto pay is on expired. That was handled professionally by friendly people in the office.

Highly satisfied customer! I have been a customer for several years and I have NEVER had an issue with K & K. They are always sweet and helpful when I call to pay. I even received a compliment that I was a great customer. I can only assume that the previous nasty comments are from terrible customers. You get what you give is all I can say!

The driver was exceeding the speed limit by at least 20mph, weaving around cars, and tailgating.I called the number on the side of the truck in hopes of bringing this dangerous situation to an end, but the operator told me, I doubt theyre driving like that, then hung up on me.I called back and asked to speak with a manager. Then a lady got on the line and told me I was wrong. Their vehicles dont speed and they confirmed with all the drivers that no one was speeding. Then she hung up on me after suggesting I was just causing trouble.I was shocked to realize the companys total disregard for public safety. I would never call a company to report an issue unless there was one.Let this post serve as a warning for when a tragedy occurs.THE COMPANY WAS WARNED AND THEY DISREGARDED THE INFORMATION WITH ABSOLUTELY NO CONCERN WHATSOEVER.

This service has been horrible from the get go. They did not drop our can off the day they said they would. I had to call again to get the can. The first 2 weeks of service we had our garbage out the night before pick up and then never picked up claiming we didnt have our trash out. The manager stated that if our can wasnt out that the driver would call them, and they would call us. Week 3 we put the garbage out at 7, not knowing what time they came because they hadnt come the first 2 weeks. When we called, the lady who answered was incredibly rude. Because we were upset SHE decided SHE was cancelling my account and picking up my can and hung up on us. Ironically I find myself wondering how long it will take them to pick up the can considering the many phone calls it took to get them to drop it off. Dont waste your time or money on this service.... Its, well.... trashy.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have never met such a rude, disrespectful office manager in my life. As managers ourselves, id never imagine talking to any customer in this manner! We have had multiple rude phone conversations and disrespectful voicemails left for us. The most recent incident is the final straw. We had items set aside, on the opposite side of the driveway as our garbage can, WITH A FREE SIGN IN FRONT OF IT. She had the nerve to call us the night before our pickup and leave us the nastiest voicemail stating that she received a picture of the amount of garbage we had and that unless we cleaned everything up, they werent going to be able to pick up our garbage.I understand the inconvenience of having extra trash, even though we didnt in this situation. A polite voicemail asking us to call her to discuss the situation would have been appropriate. But instead, she lectured us for three minutes in such a disrespectful tone. I will be canceling my service immediately. I am definitely looking forward to speaking to this office manager again. UGH!If you know what is right for the future of your business, you would be replacing your office manager. I will be heading to Express Services. I look forward to being treated with excellent customer service for the same price as I pay for this horrible service.

Do not use this company! They only pick up trash once a week and are inconsistent at best. They do not even pick up yard waste. They will spend more time digging through your trash to remove bags of leaves instead of just taking the entire can. Ive had to call on multiple occasions because my regular pickup was entirely missed.

Customer service/PR was superb. However, the arrangement agreed to was canceled due to poor in-company communication. 😩Two and a half stars only.

Have used K & K since I moved to Tennessee in 2011. As of this writing 3 years later in 2014, no problem, trash is picked up promptly (morning for me). No trash left on the ground around cans. Have never missed a pickup. Im satisfied. I have had to call on a couple of occasions and was treated courteously by whoever answered the phone.

Cheap, service is excellent! Customer service has gotten so much better. I just wish they had a way to pay online.

Tried to get me to pay for a month and a half of service I did not receive. When I tried to contact costumer service they were extremely belligerent. I tried to explain I shouldnt have to pay for a service I didnt receive but three different women screamed at me over the phone. Horrible customer service. I immediately called a competitor of theirs who were so friendly over the phone.

My grandmother has used their services for nearly 10 years. When she decided to move in with my mother , we attempted to get the services switched to the new address , the woman who answered the phone was very rude and after giving her the address she stated that they didn’t pick up at the address. We cancelled service and found better service for cheaper. Oh , and if you drive around our neighborhood there are plenty of K&K trash cans. Overall highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and knowledge they failed to provide.

Paid for one month over the phone to begin service. The office person Pat was super sweet while she was getting my account setup. Once my bill got sent back to her by the post office for the next 3 months, she left a hostile voicemail. I called back to try to understand the issue, she wanted me to come to red Bank, get my bill and take it to the post office. I asked about an online payment option and there was none available. She became angry and immediately told me she would just cancel my service when I refused to drive to Red Bank to pick up my bill. I should have read the rewiews first before using this company.

Good family owned business

They did not deliver the can on the day they said they would, so I had to wait another week for my trash to be picked up. They also close early compared to normal business hours. I should have gone with a different garbage pickup company instead. They dont answer the phone sometimes or return messages at times.

Terrible service, if you forget to pay your $40 bill, they do not even bother to contact you and let you know. They just stop coming and let your trash fill up. People have alot going on in their lives and can easily forget a trash bill. Maybe they should realize that. Office manager was very rude and not helpful at all. Wanted me to pay for a month of service I did not receive, since I wasnt notified the bill was not paid. I guess I will call one of the dozen of so other companies that offer this service.

I have had K & K Disposal now for 3 years and I couldnt be happier with my service. Every time that I have called with a question, they have been courteous and friendly. Once I forgot to put out garbage and they came back that same day and got it. Definitely the best service around.

I really hate rating any company with one star, especially without ever having done business with them. But customer service is paramount in my eyes, and if it is horrible before even becoming a client, it is an indicator of things to come. I called this company at one (1) minute past 4:00 p.m. today to inquire on getting service started this week at my residence. I am assuming K & K Waste closed at 4:00 p.m., because the phone was answered, and was promptly hung up.....to which I promptly said, Well theres my answer. And I called their competitor, started up service, and paid for three months in advance. My bin will be arriving Wednesday. The gentleman helping me was kind, courteous, personable, and K & K would do well to employ similar individuals.K & K.....the person answering your phone at one minute past 4:00 on 3/26/18 just cost you a customer.

I have used K&K Waste for about six months. When I call to pay they are the nicest people I have talked to. Easy and reliable! Awesome service.

I have used this trash service for a year and a half. I have never had an issue and the customer service is fantastic. I highly recommend them for the Hixson TN area.

The woman working the phones is rude and condescending. Im pretty sure they charged me extra for the previous owners of my house. they make up extra charges it is truly corrupt. the person who wrote the other review clearly works there or was a customer when they had a different woman working the phones. I tried to explain why I thought they were mistaken. I was talked over and condescended to. She said they called me multiple times but I never gave them my number and was only sent the one bill. Naturally the number was not mine. I will be switching services as soon as possible.

Phoned K&K to request PU of their receptacle left behind by a tenant. Office Manager said their customer terminated service 2-3 months ago. Said theyd pick up the can but would dump any trash in it on the street. I said thats illegal! We do it all the time, she said. Asked to speak with K&K owner; she refused to give owners name or number.

Paid for pickup still havent received my container after speaking with pat she was upset that I wasnt understanding that they had issues and told me my container would be here sat. Well still no container I wish I would have read the reviews first. got Express they delivered my container the next day after calling late fri.

This company is the worst trash service that I have ever received. They missed pick up on my trash multiple times and still billed me for it. I am surprised that they have stayed in business this long. If there is another option for trash pick up. I recommend you go with a different service. K AND K IS aweful.

I know these guys have bad reviews, and I was skeptical about using them. I’m not too crazy about then not working on weekends. BUT... I needed them with very short notice... and they came through for me. I hope they keep it up, that’s why I gave them 5 starts.

I was long time K&K customer until recently. I had never had any issues until I left a piece of sheetrock in the can ,and instead of laying it on the curb beside the can it was tossed in my yard. I would not of cancelled my service for that simple act, I just called to ask why it was not placed beside the can. The receptionist was extremely rude and said We cant win no matter what we do If you have household trash and are aware of every item K&K refuses to pick up this business would be great to use. I simply refuse to pay for services to a company that employees will toss construction garbage (a unused piece of sheetrock that fit in the can) in my front yard and have another employee get an attitude over the phone with me. I will gladly pay more else where.

Used this service for a dumpster and was told to call when it was ready for pick up. Had the dumpster at our property for two business days and they just came and picked it up without any notice. Was only half full. We told the driver we weren’t ready to have it taken and he just avoided eye contact and drove off with it.

Rude people. If you accidentally put trash they dont take the workers start a vendetta and will throw stuff on your lawn everytime they come by. Switched to junk kings and never looked back

This has to be the poorest ran garbage company in town! I am not their customer, thankfully. However, I have had several awful experiences in dealing with their personnel on about 5 different occasions within the past 20 months. From being cursed over the phone on every call made to their office, to their employees leaving my neighbors trash can in the middle of my driveway so I would hit it when backing out of my garage - to the most recent issue. One of their truck employees literally picked up part of my neighbors trash, which was a big plastic mat, and dropped it into my empty trash can instead of his garbage truck. Mind you, I have a different a trash provider and mine was just emptied by my provider and sitting at the curb as well.K & K, your pick up activities are now being recorded at this location and I will not hesitate to share the next poor experience for all the world to see if it happens again.#pleasebeprofessionals

I have had this service since March and it’s horrible. They pick up when they want to, if they want to.I have never received a bill, but they are quick to call if payments aren’t made. They insist that they send bills, but how have I never received one?Customer service is open until 4:00, so make sure you call before then. I have had service for years never missed a payment. They didnt pick up last week not only mine but 4 others on my street. I had not received a bill and prob the other neighbors either. I called and was told I should know every 3 months I would get a bill, also it isnt their fault to take it up with the postal service and then said thats the way it goes. Needless to say I start new service wirh Republic rhis week. And they are cheaper

I have had BFI and star waste when they were picking up in my area then i went to taking my own trash to the dump i could haul it cheaper than they were robbing me at the other places ... well thanks to catoosa countys goverment selling out all our land fill space to BFI a few years back we in this county get RAPED when we go to the dump 20 bucks a pick up truck load up to 800 lbs then tonage rate past that or 2 dollars a large bag for household trash so it was time to find another trash service the people at k and k are kind and are what customer service should be modeled from they are always happy to take care of anything i have called about and pick up every time BFI would not even come down my street cause its a dead end road after 2 years of picking up my trash i cant say enough good things about the folks at k and k

Thier service is meh at best. My problem is cardboard. I drive a work van and there are times when i clean the cardboard out and leave it with the trash to be picked up. A few times they have taken the trash and then put the cardboard in the trashcan. This is unacceptable. I consider cardboard boxes to be garbage like the rest of it and they should take it all. I dont know if thats thier policy or a lazy trash guy but it ticks me off. Every truck is manned with different guys so everyone is going to have a different experience but this is mine. Also the lady that mentioned the rude phone lady was spot on. Shes got some people probs obviously. They have more than one phone person though Ive gotten another lady thats been really nice.

I have had their service for 3 years. They called me out of the blue wanting to cancel my service because there is no where to turn around at then end of my road. They are blaming it on where my boat is parked in my yard (which is not part of the road and is soft grass). And they are more or less blaming it on me for having to cancel on every one else on the road.

I have had this company for 5 months and I am already switching my service the lady that answers the phones is rude she hung up on my husband twice after belittling him. I was in shock after hearing how she spoke to him and then hung up. Thats is so disrespectful I wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

They skip my house all the time. I pay for them to pick up my garbage, and they rarely do. Its infuriating that I have garbage piling up out there and they constantly skip my house. Ive went out there one morning because I forgot to drag my garbage can the entire 2 feet to the curb from where it normally sits and the guys just looked at me and drove off. They are pathetically lazy. We are all human and sometimes for get to pull the can to curb and they will absolutely never make the minimal effort it takes to get the garbage anyways. What is the point of paying for this if they will ever skip your house even once? Could not recommend them any less!

There’s a snow day and you have to wait a whole week for another pickup... I didn’t realize that we were getting ripped off and that you followed the Hamilton County school systems schedule
