Best service at any marina in the area. Friendly knowledgeable people. Great restaurant. Large retail store inventory everything you could ever need for the water. I just love hanging out at this place!

Looked nice from what I could see. The Lakeshore Grille was busy. The outside patio is pet friendly.

I found the people at Lakeshore Marina to be accommodating, flexible, and very friendly. Thats not typically something you get when trying to find a place to keep your boat. Im very appreciative of the staff for helping our family! Their shop is in the process of being renovated, so everything you need on the water is RIGHT THERE, and then some. Cant wait to have a much needed summer filled with fun memories here. Great work!

Had a great time but the boat we rented died a couple times. It had no anchor or fire extinguisher and we had to request life vests. Not impressed.

The food is absolutely amazing and the wait staff is very friendly and kind. The view is spectacular. They also bring delicious chips while you wait. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Ask what the special of the day is, you will not regret it.

Dry storage is a complete joke. They rarely put your boat up until days later. They rarely return phone calls. The facilities look awful. Basically, go anywhere else.

We rented on two different days here. We rented a boat and a jet ski. The service was good and friendly, they were knowledgeable about the boats. The prices were very reasonable and the location is right on the lake. Would definitely use them again if in the area.

We have our own boat slip but needed to store our trailer. Since this place is 1 minute from our home, we chose them. Unfortunately, while they quote you monthly rental rates, you are locked in to a year contract with a discount if the year is paid in advance (and not from the date you rent but from their own annual year, May). We eventually sold our boat and I called to see about a refund on the unused 10 months of my prepaid trailer storage. The girl who answered the phone said no problem just come on in. I did come in but found out NO REFUNDS. I did talk to the GM but he said if we did refunds everyone would leave at the same time and they would go out of business. His logic made no sense to me. I ended up paying for almost 3 years of trailer storage when I actually only needed under 2 years. They will never get another penny out of me as I will always take my business elsewhere. Dont bother writing to the owner, Charity, as she never responded. I guess Charity starts at home!(update) The same day I posted this review, I received an email from the owner. She told me that if you someone is storing just a trailer, you are eligible for a refund. They did write me a check prorated, which is fair, and I have picked it up. Now she just needs to make sure all employees realize what the policy is so others dont have to jump through sas many hoops as I to get a refund.

Update since my last review. i was able to get in touch with the owner. She responded back to me quickly, personally came down with an outside mechanic to speak to me and take a look at the supposedly the brand new motor both was very nice and helpful which i cannot say for Martin and Rocky. We was able to come to an agreement to work out the problems and to hopefully get my boat fixed and running like it was suppose to have been originally. not sure what the name of the girl working the counter the day we picked up the boat but a BIG THANK YOU to her for giving me the owners name and contact #. i really appreciate her, Charity and Gerald. i would definitely give them a 5 star for stepping up and doing whats right!! Thanks again!!______________________________________________________________________Would not recommend this place at all for mechanic boat service. I first received good service, but after the boat was suppose to have been fixed and ready to go it wasnt fixed at all, and they tried to give me the run around and charge again for labor when it was already paid for. confronted both the general mgr and service mgr on what they told me verses what the motor company told me, and they shewed us out and wanted us off the property. they would not give me the owners name, and refused to help at all. very rude, horrible customer service. they got their $6700. and something dollars and I still have a boat that dont run.

Our family enjoyed a day on the double decker boat with slide. We had kids and adults on the boat and we loved it! Experience was definitely worth the cost. Only suggestion would be to put a bit stronger motor on the boat. It was pretty slow (could have kayaked faster), but it made us take in the scenery more! Blake, the guy in charge of telling us about the boat, was so funny and patient with our questions. When we came back into the marina, he spotted us and bolted across the marina jumping over jet skis like parkour stuff! Haha! Very polite to our family and great customer service. We will be back!

I was traveling down from Knoxville on a 45 trawler, BLUE MOON. We had called ahead for a transient slip for one night. Did not arrive as fast as planned but Charity and her employee helped us into a slip after dark and closing hours. Thanks and hope to see you again!!for

Thank you.—————————Unfortunately had a really tough time with management here renting a boat. I believe his name was Glen we rented a boat that was in safety mode meaning would not go over a certain speed which was very slow. We also returned the boat pretty quickly after we cam to the conclusion there must have been something wrong. The manager on did not apologize once and told us that he would refund our money the next day, the next day came the money was not refunded until we called and had to argue with the new manager on that day.The bottom line is that we paid money for a promised service (a normal functioning boat), that promise was not met. We should not have had to work so hard for a refund.The man that worked inside the marina behind the counter was very apologetic and actually seemed like someone with some customer service experience. I say fire Glen if thats even his name and give the man behind the counter a raise. An apology and ownership of a problem goes a long way.Seems like a nice place, some of the rental boats are in a little rough shape but I can not stand horrible service like we had from the manager.

Amazing food and staff with a breathtaking view

In reference to some of the bad reviews I know they changes owners around 2 years ago. As of today (July 2016) It is a pretty great staff and friendly owners. Always personable and willing to lend a hand. The restaurant above the deck is a great spot too, a tad pricey ~18 an entree, but good views and food.

Charity and her dedicated staff are excellent. I encourage everyone to make Lakeshore Marina your home on the lake.

Boater beware. New owners of 2 years have failed to provide basic needs of a boat owner. The gas dock is never accessible, especially on weekends as they keep their rental boats there. The pump-out has been broken for the previous 2 seasons with no apologies or promise to fix it. No amenities such as showers or laundry facilities, and they are now requiring boat owners to haul their trash to the parking lots. No certified mechanics are employed, but the management insists on approving anyone you hire to work on your boat. A new rule states that you have to pay a fee for guests to visit. The owners have now delegated operations to a new manager, whom we have not met and have not formed an opinion. All of this and rates continue to increase. The location is convenient. Thats the best I have to say about this place. I think the new owners had good intentions in the beginning, but the glamour wore off for them quickly.

Super friendly family run business. We showed up at the start of the season while they were working out some kinks and still had the boat in the water within 5 mins. So convenient! They have everything you need at the store and if they dont at the moment, they will order it for you! Highly recommend this business.

The new ownership has been great for us. Fast friendly service. Perform good work in a timely manner. We have been there for 3 generations of ownership, and previous owners have been sub par. Having a great experience with service and maintenance. 4 star b/c we wanted to move to a slip closer to the office and our request was overlooked

If I could post zero stars I would. Let us book a 20 open bow boat with cooler online two days prior. While on our way to marina received phonecall that boat was not available and she wasnt sure why the website let us book it. No other boats were available to us so we went to different marina and were able to book what we wanted for the day.

I am a tech here and highly recommend any who need service, repair or modifications to their vessel to stop by and see us. I am Yanmar certified and can perform any service you may require. If its in your boat, I can fix it.

Do not ever take your boat here to get it fixed!!! They’re a joke! They lie & have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They do not care about anything but screwing people over. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately this does not let me chose zero stars. I would not recommend anyone to take their boat to this company . They’re rude and very unprofessional. They set high prices for a job that does not even get done . And still want to charge you extra labor to look at a job that didn’t get done how does that even make sense . Ridiculous. And when asked for invoices and proof of the job they supposedly did they immediately ask you to leave the premises to avoid giving any information to you . Why ? Bc they’re crooks who take your money and make you think they did work on your boat when they sit on their tails all day and no nothing to help the customer out .

I will NEVER use them again! Rented pontoon boat for lake day after my wedding. Went out and noticed the motor starting to sound off and we could not go full speed. We got to our destination and spent the afternoon hanging out on the boat. Headed back and engine again started sounding different and unable to even go half speed. Took us twice as long to get back to dock ...luckily we were planning to come in at 5 so we were not late because I am sure they would of changed us for that. We told the dock hands about the issue and they take boat out and they themselves are trying to figure it out and say they arent sure and will not let me leave for 30 minutes as they analyze the problem. They finally say I can leave but not with my deposit because they arent sure whats wrong with boat and if its our fault or not. They then said it sounds like its a mechanical/prop thing and they are sure I can get some kind of refund. Well we had dinner plans with the group but now those were ruined since they would not let me leave and it took twice as long getting back. I hear nothing from Lakeshore as I was told I would. I contact them and rudely get responded to. Saying there is nothing wrong with boat and sometimes you just cant go full speed ( I own a boat and have been on 3 pontoons, never have they acted that way!) Why rent a boat you cant go more than half speed!! The way they respond to their customers is ridiculous. Dont rent from them if you want to have a good experience. After about 3 weeks and 3 correspondences (also horribly slow at responding) I realize they have no intensions of trying to make things right.

Spent 40 min on hold waiting on info for available slips. No one ever picked up, guess they didn’t want my $300 a month.

This pace is awesome. My brother Captain Wyn keeps his boat here in the spring, summer, and fall..and they treat us so good.

Rented the double decker pontoon boat for a large group. It was a great experience all around! Great service and friendly staff.

Showed up to get a rental boat and it was disgusting, nothing was wiped off or cleaned beforehand, and then before I left the key would not even start... So Im glad I got a full refund from this place. Never again.

We were evacuated from Miami for hurricane Irma and decided to visit family in Chattanooga. Weve had a great time here until we reserved a boat at Lakeshore Marina. When we called in the morning to ask if a small dog could come with us, they told us it wouldnt be a problem. Surprisingly, when we showed up (big group with kids) later that day they told us we could not take the boat with the dog. Of course, this was extremely upsetting since they had told us was fine before. The management/owners seemed completely unreasonable. After we started to pack up our stuff and we called again to speak with them about it, they told us they were going into storm mode and moving the boat to dry land. Coming from a location that is actually affected by the storm - our houses may be gone when we return- this came off as a pretty lame excuse. Especially since our dog is small and was unlikely to cause any real damage to the boat - which we offered to pay for if anything did happen. I understand it is important to have policies thar protect their boats but in this scenerio, where they could have bent the rules and decided against it, they seemed completely unreasonable. I wish this marina had 1) given us the correct info to begin with and 2) had been understanding of our unique situation and accommodated us.

I would recommend to not use Lakeshore Marina. I dry stored my boat with Lakeshore over the past year. Not only was my boat always dirty which is my definition of dry storage though this I assume could happen as I’m no expert. I called on the 19th of May to find out my contract was up on May 1st which I should have known but again assume paying them what I did one would think they would reach out to their customer. Again, might be my fault in 2019 thinking people care about customers. When I was told contract was up I asked to have boat loaded on trailer as I had already planned to bring boat back home for other reason than what I thought at the time wasn’t Lakeshore. I was told that they needed till Tuesday the 21st to get boat loaded on trailer which was strange but again I’m at their mercy as I don’t know their business. I called on Tuesday to make sure boat would be on trailer to hear oh sure that’s not a problem as it only takes 20 mins or so. I was called a couple of hours later and told I owed for the 21 days my boat was there plus loading fee which would have been fine had this ever been communicated to me that contract was about to up. Even though I called the 19th still owed the other two days due to them pushing me out nothing to do with me. I guess I should be glad they didn’t tell me 2 weeks. I went in to pay the storage $136 and loading fee of $90 to get my boat. I went around to get boat to find several issues one of which was trailer light pigtail to be cut off. I had two places on boat that was obviously done when they were taking in and out of storage as they are scraps as they were made went sliding in and out of location. I called back to office to inform her of damage as which time she came down and agreed that there was damage to boat and trailer. She made comment that she was sorry for the trouble I was having and called someone to come look at it. After paying $90 to get boat loaded on trailer, it was straight on trailer. He came out to where we were to say he was there the day I brought boat in a year ago so he has no idea in light cord was there or not which in the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard out of someone’s mouth in the customer service business. I 100% assure you my lights worked the day I dropped boat off. He asked me when I noticed damage on boat then to tell me there was no way it could happen in storage racks. I left the lot with lights not working, boat not properly loaded on trailer, and places on boat even being told owner would do nothing that he wouldn’t. So with all that being said, I again warn you not to store you boat with Lakeshore as my experience should tell you that you as the customer mean very little to them.

My husband and I rented a pontoon last weekend for my birthday. I had called and made reservations for 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM a few weeks prior. I had asked if we could bring our dogs and they said no problem so I didnt call around anywhere else. I was running late and called them at 10:00 AM to let them know. They said no problem. We showed up and the pontoon they had ready for us was in horrible condition. The seats were all torn with foam stuffing sticking out and the rear end had a couple of big dents. The fire extinguisher was stuffed into a cup holder that had broke and caved into the arm rest. The gates on the right side and front would not keep shut as the latch had broken. The deck boy tried tethering them shut with a frayed rope and was having a hard time so asked if we really needed them shut. With dogs on the deck, I said yes. The carpet was torn in the middle about 2 feet long and the radio was missing. We were told it got fried about two years ago although when I made a reservation I was told to bring my Ipod because they had adapters for the radio. The back padded deck behind the rear seats also kept coming detached anytime we raised the engine so we had to constantly pull it back on so it wouldnt fall in the water. The highlight of this boat was that it had a brand new engine in it. At least we didnt get stranded anywhere.The staff overall was very nice and we enjoyed our time on the water, but for $300 I think we will rent some where else next time. I also understand that when you bring dogs you are not always given the nicest amenities, but for the amount we paid the value was less than acceptable. We rented one a few years back that was dog friendly from the marina in Harrison Bay and it was nice. We will be going back to them next time.

Their main boating dock needs some serious maintenance. The last time I was there, I got a splinter in my foot that was so large that I had to go to the ER to have it removed.
