The bad reviews are obviously from employees or clients who were reprimanded accordingly and didn’t like the consequences or results.This place is amazing to work for and the staff and upper management really care about their employees and clients. They go above and beyond for everyone. There are squabbles in every work place and issues but this company reacts swiftly to deal with issues. I highly recommend Northstar as an employer and treatment facility!!!

Unfair work conditions. Fire people for standing up for themselves when client tried to fight. Even had a knife pulled on me as I worked there. They don’t care about clients or employees. All they care about is money. That’s why they have the same people coming back over and over for rehab. They have saved no one. An then they let people work there who go through there program. An the don’t do piss tests on employees at all! Some employees do drugs on the job. Not a good place for anyone!

5 star and its staff are the best of the best. Everyone staff and peers are there to support u through every struggle big or small. In my opinion you get out of any treatment what u put into it and accept that u deserve good or bad. There is never a time where u are alone in this program. Management has came to sit with me when i needed even late at night to support me and my recovery. Its not about the money or moving people through to make a dollar. Everyone here goes above and beyond and the client and their sobriety are the only thing that matters. If your serious About recovery and want to save your life come to five star.

This is Michelle Johnson this place saved my life and I wouldnt be who I am or have the life I do now if it werent for this amazing place. Recovery is what YOU make of it and thats the bottom line. No. This place is all about the benjies :D We once made craft animals in their art therapy, and the owner Rachel, after seeing them on the mantel in the residential building, threw them in the garbage.Thanks.I guess thats why you dont work directly with the clients. Its not a money tree... treatment. and rehabilitation. No.Quality over quantity is definitely called for here. Do you even have a degree? in anything?

Watch out for the collections a few years after... even though it was squared away

This place was a major factor in helping me overcome my addiction and they gave e a great deal of support in learning what to do ongoing in recovery. I really owe a great deal to the time I spent in Intensive Outpatient treatment here.

I have worked with Jason and his staff and they have been some of the finest people I could hope to work with.

This place helped me find myself.
