Brought my laptop in after I had dropped it and it had begun to show signs of hard drive failure. Ernest helped me to quickly get the computer in to save whatever data he could - luckily I lost practically nothing! Big shout out to Ernest for saving me hours and hours of re-working some projects. Also for re-instilling in me the importance of backups.

Cheerful, knowledgeable, and prompt. I brought in an old laptop that was no longer powering up, and within a couple of minutes he assessed it as not economically repairable. So instead, it was a standard $79 fee for data retrieval, and I was pleased with the results. Will definitely return.

My older computer was dying, then died. I thought it was time to get a new computer. Decided to take it to ComputerFixx in Chaska. I was told the bulk of my problem was likely my online upgrade to Windows 10. I left my computer, so they could wipe it and reinstall. When I got my computer back, it was like a new machine again. That was several month ago, and my computer still working great. I paid about $120 for the work. If I would have replaced my computer with a new one with the same specs, it would have cost $800-900. Great work, fair price, very happy customer.

My recently installed Windows 10 software would not work properly and I was advised that it was normal with this version. I was prepared to buy a new Apple product but took the computer to Computerfixx in Chaska for their inspection. Within a short time they identified the initial set-up problem and corrected it and other disk issues with only a one hour labor charge of $69. The computer works great now and there is no need to replace it. If you have computer problems, this is where to take it.

Answered all of my questions and seemed like an honest guy. My screen broke and I appreciate the fact that he didnt try and upsell me on something I didnt need. Highly recommend.

Earnest fixed my computer within 24 hours and treated me well. He explained the difference between malicious, versus the non-malicious type of malware on my computer, saving me $100, where he could have instead laid a guilt trip on me. Hes honest!

Ernest is the only guy around Chaska that will fix solder joints and hes good at it! He did everything he could to help me fix the bad circuit board for the gauge cluster in my car. He soldered several joints that looked faulty/weak until we realized that the board itself was bad. He then helped me find a replacement at a salvage yard. 10/10 will go to him for any electronics issues!
