Pretty clean store has all the products you need. But the samples always have no one working there. And today we were standing In a isle and a worker with bright orange hair was walking through us saying I just want to do my job so move and we were shocked she said that we didn’t even say anything we were just standing there looking at the apple sauce.

Out of chicken but coming up soon nice and fresh. Not to busy, checked right out!

Customer service is always good here. So good, I upgraded on my membership!! Ill continue coming here and recommending Sams because its well worth it. You can also find discounted memberships on Groupon. If youre not ready for a membership, go to customer service and ask for a shopping pass. Let them know youre not a member but you want to shop and see what they have to offer, but ask for the details because you may have to pay a small fee in addition to your purchase (not quite sure).

After the pipeline scare gas was scarce here in Charlottesville at my third attempt at calling they finally had gas but the line was backed up and it only took me about 30 minutes to get through and get gas! Several store associates were out directing traffic and their efforts were greatly appreciated! Thank you Sams club!

Sams Club is constantly improving and striving to become your place to shop. Their produce is fresh and they have a great selection. There are many cheeses to choose from and their wine selection is excellent offering both value and wonderful taste. They always have a great selection of clothes and the prices on these are excellent as well. They also have extended their selection of eggs including the availability of free range organic eggs. They have reduced package size for some eggs so you can only buy 1 dozen.

As usual, Sams Club had everything that I needed. Great service from the staff as well.

The service at the tire center was awesome! They fixed up my leaky tire for free super quick. They answered the phone when I called and Ron provided awesome counter customer service. The store is always clean and the associates very friendly.

It was very hard to get around. The aisles up front are congested and hard to get around. Seems all the Sams are going this route.

This is your standard run of the mill Sams Club location. Its a little tucked away behind a car dealership and off the main road, so it can be difficult to navigate to. The parking lot is alway a fiasco. It seems there is constant congestion between the fuel area and the regular parking areas, so navigating the tight spaces can be a challenge. As COVID-19 numbers are on the rise in the area, this location has also sold out of toilet paper. The checkout lanes have improved recently and wait times have been largely eliminated. Overall, this store is usually in stock on most items, but I find that the store layout doesnt flow as conveniently as others. Good for monthly stock ups of consumables. If you shop here weekly, you need to rethink your consumer strategy.

In non pandemic times Id give Sams Club 5 stars - always well stocked, good prices and friendly associates. I dripped a star on this review only because of many out of stock items. There were no canned vegetables except for the giant size, several frozen items I often get were out and other pantry type items as well. They did have toilet paper, paper towels, a great produce selection, and all dairy items that I normally get there.

Super easy to get in and out when you use the scan and go feature on the app. Love being able to skip the line! If youre a plus member, you are able to gain early access to the store which is also amazing not to have to jostle around people!Staff are all super friendly and helpful! ⭐

I am a Sams fan. So you buy in bulk, not fun, but the quality is worth it. The meat is the best and price is great. You just have a freezer full, but it is great quality.

Poor customer service at the front desk. Waited in line for 10-15mins to sign up for a membership. I was not able to do it online as I kept receiving a message that I had to renew a membershio alothough I have NEVER had a Sams Club membership. Lady at the front desk didnt know what to do and said theres nothing she could do to help me. She didnt even try and rushed me. Yeah Ill stick to Costco.

I was on vacation visiting the skyline drive and had a tire blowout. Ive called several places for the right tire size but had no luck. Being a sunday it made it worse. I was not able to get the tire I needed in my mercedes because it had to be ordered and it would take a day or two. However, Daniel from the tire and auto section was VERY helpful in getting me info on what my options would be. I became a Sams club member because he convinced me that Sams would go the distance to help people even if it meant I was going to end up getting my tires elsewhere. Ive worked in retail and customer service before and always believed that you treat people the way you would want to be treated. Daniel is genuinely helpful and kind. Knowledgeable and professional in his trade. I would like to just say thank you and for those in need of tires, Daniel is the kind of person youd want to entrust your hard earned money with.

Love, love, love Sams club! The workers are incredibly kind. Their produce is always fresh and delicious. The bakery has delicious treats, as well as the cafe. I enjoy coming here every few weeks and filling up my cart!

On two occasions I ordered online for groceries, both times I alerted the store via text that I was there to pick up, as I was directed to by Sams Club staff. The first time I waited over 30 minutes for my order, finally an associate who was coming back from her break, asked if I was there to pick up an order. When she left it was probably five minutes later my order came out. The second time, same thing alerted via text that I had arrived. When no one responded, I asked an associate about how I was to get my order, and was informed that I needed to go inside to get my order. Why have online shopping to help people from getting in crowds when you have to come into the store anyway? And I had paid for both orders when I made the orders. I honestly think The ball has been dropped by Sams Club. Yes these are uncertain times but if you are to offer a service like online ordering with pick up at store then follow thru and do it. I dont recall seeing anything about having to come inside to get the order, but if this is the case maybe I need to shop elsewhere.

Always find what I need

Another terrible experience at Sams Club. Those working in the Optical department could use some additional training. I didn’t appreciate the woman who helped me lying about the date my prescription ended and trying to get me to buy a larger bulk pack of contacts that I didn’t need. Completely unacceptable. Just another incentive to use an online service to avoid unprofessional face to face encounters like these. I’ll be going elsewhere in the future.

Whoever decided it was better customer service to change the check out process is a no experience college IDIOT. Now when you go into Sams in the middle of the afternoon there are 5 check outs closed because they now require 2-3 staff to man one check out. If I choose to use self checkout I must either scan the items in my cart or load on the belt. So if I am willing to load items on the belt why cant I at a belt with a cashier? How is that improving customer service? This is a fine example of a decision made by an IDIOT at Corporate who probably never spent one day on the floor!

I was excited to try out Sams Club Pickup in July, but it wasn’t all I’d hoped. I wasn’t able to have my purchases brought to my car. Instead, I had to go into Sams Club and wait 15 or 20 minutes for the associates to bring them to me at Customer Service. I waited along with several other people who had purchases in carts they could see sitting there. I was aliso supposed to receive a discount for being a first time pickup customer and the associate was unable to apply it. I did receive a gift card for the amount of the discount, however.Sams Club just recently began offering this service and I am sure the process has improved with time.

Tire and battery section is decent when someone helps you but you’ll spend the majority of your day waiting for someone to assist you at the counter

I am an Executive Member of Sams Club. Most recently I bought a pack of three Rib Eye steaks from the Meat dept.. I paid approximately $35.00 for the package. It was definitely one of the WORSE cuts of meat we have ever experienced! The steak had grizzle on the outer side of the cuts of meat and was tough to chew. I normally have good experiences at Sams. It is because I have had good experiences that I gave it two stars, otherwise I would have rated it one star. Quality is very important to me. If I had company and served one of these Rib Eyes to my guests I would have been embarrassed. Should I experience another purchase like this I will take my business and membership to Costco!

Its inevitable that when the weather turns cold and snowy, my car battery gives up the ghost. Sams had the exact battery for my car with better specs than any of the auto stores for at least $60 less than the auto stores had it. The previous battery was from an auto store and was guaranteed for 3 years. It lasted 2. Customer reviews on Sams website describe people getting 5+ years of use and buying another. Hopefully, this one last that long. And it was a quick transaction. Bear in mind that when you go in, take the old battery with you to save the $18 core charge.

I just never got the whole warehouse concept thing. Yes they have a variety of things on offer but I just cannot find the savings that others mention. Also I wonder how much of the food that is purchased in these large packages gets tossed because it goes bad before its ever consumed. I would much rather buy a smaller package of a given item and use it up rather than sending part, or in some cases most, to the landfill.

This store is always clean and stocked. Staff are friendly and helpful.
