Had my nails done in Georgia about 2-3 weeks ago, she did a terrible job. I havent had my nails done in years due to my hands being in water all day doing hair. Peter fixed and made my nails fabulous again! Will definitely be returning!

This is my first time here(6/2021), and I love this place already! Vi gave me a pedicure and she was lovely, did a great job at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back!

This is by far the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. The lady who did my nails was rude to me and did a terrible job. The nails were sloppy and not all of my previous nail polish was even removed. I do not recommend coming here because its not worth anyone’s money.

Be sure to make an appt. This is a busy salon and they work very hard to take care of every customer. Am very happy with my pedi!!!

I never normally write reviews but this was just too bad not to say something. The worst manicure of my life. She rushed through the entire thing, did not clean up the nail polish on my fingers, and left me with a red residue on my hands. My fingers look horrible thanks to her carelessness. Save yourself the time and money and go to another salon

I have been going to this nail salon for almost a year now. I see Peter and he is great. I make sure to make an appointment everytime, or else there could be a bit of a wait. I did wait a couple of times for 15 min even with an appointment, but otherwise it has been great. The dog is friendly. Her name is Mika. If you feel they did not do a good job on your nails, tell them and even go back the next day if you have to/can. I have had a nail snap on me two days after being there only once and they of course fixed it for me at no cost. I recommend this place.

I was so disappointed with my experience at salon de nails especially after hearing such great things about the nail salon. My experience felt rush and frankly my nail tech was rough. My cuticles were nipped multiple times and I wasn’t even asked how exactly I wanted my nails to be done. It is now the day after my appointment and my fingers HURT. They are sore and tender to the touch. Being a stylist myself I know how important reviews are and I feel like this was something I couldn’t let pass by without voicing my concern.

Always clean and efficient. Kind and very good at pedicures and manicures and eyebrows! Very loyal to their return customers. My favorite place in town!

NOT WELCOMING AT ALL!!! No form of communication at all even when you try to. I was ignored the whole hour. Also, this guy who did my nails did not do a good job. Money wasted. Just stay away! First time here and THIS is Not Worth it!!! If I could give a ZERO star I would!!!!!

This is a solid fast casual restaurant. The salads are at a healthy calorie count (330 Cala for the chicken Cesar). I’m not sure why it’s always quiet when I come here or why it gets such mixed reviews.

Ive been going there off and on for nearly 3 years. Making an appointment is practically useless. Youll always wait at least 10-15 minutes past your appointment time. Requesting someone when you make the appointment will make you wait even longer. I can live with that though... What I cant do it accept my cuticles being cut into with one of the tools. I have EIGHT different marks from them picking too hard. My skin was also red under my nails for two days because he buffed them too hard. I had good service (other than waiting) up until this point! But injuring my fingers because youre in a hurry because your next appointment is there is not acceptable! The same day I saw them use the same tools on two different people without the tools being cleaned. Nasty! I wont be going back!

I’ve been going here for over 10 years. I had to stop when I moved 25 minutes away to Zions crossroads. I have recently returned because in my opinion no one can do nails better than Peter. Peter has fixed my nails when other salons have done a terrible job. I will now return going to salon DeNails Even though it’s 25 minutes away. It’s worth the trip to me because my nails last 3 to 4 weeks once Peter has done them. The staff is very friendly. It’s best to make an appointment as they are very busy and they are very busy because they are very good.

I walked into this place for the first time the staff is not friendly at all they work extremely slow when I asked a simple question they looked at me with stupidity and got very aggressive and rude! I walked out of that place quick I do NOT recommend them at all with all these other nail salons around here they ought to be more friendlier as they are not the only ones in that business just FYI you have been warned!!

After my experience today, I will never return here. I typically go to Salon De Nail once a month for a manicure or pedicure. I always tip well and am nice to the nail technician. Somehow my behavior warranted one of the male nail technicians, Peter, hitting my head to let me know he was ready for him.I had some time today to get a manicure and I asked if they had a long wait. They said no. I sat in the chair while Peter finished another woman’s manicure. I was playing on my phone, waiting patiently. The other lady got up once she was finished. I smiled at the nail tech and asked how his day was. He grunted and got up and smacked the side of my head and motioned for me to move chairs. I politely said, “I’ve changed my mind. Have a nice day.” I left. He’d previously done my nails and I had tipped 30% ($9 for a gel manicure tip). I’m really not sure why you would hit a customer. I’m still baffled.There are many wonderful nail salons in Charlottesville. The location is keeping them in business since this wasn’t my first negative experience there (but by far the worst experience) and many of my friends have had unpleasant experiences as well.

Poor service. Feet felt rougher than when I went in. Did not clean cuticles. Had unliscenced person doing my feet. Dog running around shop. Do not recommend.

I have been going to this salon for quite awhile now and I have also been to others in town. I really like these folks and I know that they can get very very busy! I found one manicurist there that I particularly like and now I dont just walk in but actually make an appt. Like them, very friendly, never a problem and they try to fit everyone in as quickly as possible.

I have used this salon for years for pedicures and have always found their service to be excellent. I find it very bad form to badmouth a business without going back to them first, especially when you are not even sure the problem stemmed from their service!E

Went here for waxing and was very affordable and quick. Basic facilities and not like a spa experience but gets the job done for half the price.

Ive always had good service at Salon de Nails, and I greatly enjoy the company of Mika, the salon papillon!

I got a pedicure and manicure a week ago Thursday. By Friday the polish on my hands started peeling off. By Saturday, all of my polish was off. Then the skin around my cuticles started peeling and bleeding. Probably the worst manicure I have ever had. I will not be going back.

Worst ever acrylic fix. They treat you as cattle and want it THEIR way, Im a paying customer whos been doing her nails over 25 years, I know what Im paying for!
