Sunny is an extremely talented nail technician and really nice person. The atmosphere at the salon is pleasant and happy. I’ve never had my nails done so beautifully before. He did exactly what I asked for and made my nails look identical to the photo I showed him. Beauty Nail is my place in Charlottesville now and I’ll never go anywhere else!

The people at the salon were very nice and welcoming but the nails just did not turn out well at all. I asked for a basic french tip and I even showed them multiple pictures. The design I had on previously was also what I wanted just a different color. The end result was just bad. Each tip was a different shape and the french outline wasnt neat at all. I eventually just asked for them to color it all one color and they agreed which I am thankful for. However, the end result was also really really lumpy and not even around my nails. They just look uneven and thick. The tips also have weird indents in them probably from uneven buffing. Good service and people they just couldnt do a basic manicure or french tip for me.

My friend and I were looking to have our nails done and found this beautiful little salon with the most amazing and kind people! I recommend this place to anyone for all things nails and more. I’m absolutely in love with my nails!!

My nails were a MESS!! No exaggeration!Sonny gently removed what was left of my old tips replaced them all and then used dip. This was the first time I had dipping in done. I love them and I love the color. Thank you to everyone there !

Sonny did a fabulous job on my dip nails. He made sure I got exactly what I wanted! I came with my sister, her boyfriends mom, and our mom. We all got lovely pedicures. I would definitely recommend this place and come again!

I dont even want to give it 1 star. I made an appointment the day before. Im from out of town visiting my daughter. We waited a half hour and no one came to check on us to tell us how much longer the wait would be.Apparently they take walk ins and appointments dont mean a thing.The pedicure chairs were very close together with no partitions between. There was also a very strong smell of chemicals that made me glad I had a mask on.

Asked for a almond shape French tip showed them a picture they did for a previously client. Took two techs and couldn’t do it. I kept saying it was okay we could do a solid color but they insisted they were beautiful. Wish they would’ve just said they couldn’t do it. They worked hard and were nice just really bad at the nails

My new favorite place in Cville! I just went to Beauty Nail & Spa for a French acrylic manicure for my graduation, and this is the best french manicure I’ve ever had! When I arrived for my appointment, all employees were busy, but they took a few minutes to get me settled and started, and were SO nice. I had Sonny as my manicurist soon after, and he listened intently to what I had wanted, took the time necessary to do it, and it came out so good!! 10/10 recommend

I went this morning to get my previous nails taken off and to get a dip powder manicure. I’ve been getting dip for over a year and recently moved to Charlottesville and decided to try this salon after reading some great review about dip and gel. I called to make an appointment the day before and they told me they had availability so I went in for 11 when they opened. The technician doing my nails made me feel very rushed. I told her it was my first time there and I had to find a new nail salon since I recently moved, but it seemed like she just needed to rush me out. She was too busy counting money and putting it in employees drawers while I was waiting well for over 5 minutes with my nails under the UV light, which I have never experienced in a dip service. She just kept telling me to keep the light on and I felt as if she were just trying to keep me busy because she has more important things to do. Some of my nails have bubbles from the top coat and they were not smooth around the top so I had to file them myself when I got home. I did not feel like I could say anything about being unhappy with my nails because I felt so rushed especially as the technician was talking about all her other appointments in front of me.

I had my nails done here for my birthday and absolutely LOVE them!! Sonny made them look flawless and loving the neon pink color. Will definitely be going back. Thank you!

I had an appointment at 6:00 and didn’t get in until 6:45. I even got there early and sat there for over and HOUR people came in that didn’t have appointments and got in and out of the salon before I even got my nails done. Very nice people but Poor customer service.They do a good job but the wait isn’t worth it.

I will never be returning. I’ve been going there for almost one year. I made an appointment for 11:30 for a gel manicure. I arrived at 11:20 and was taken back at 11:30. She started on my nails and by 12:30 she still had not finished. Two people came in around 12:30 asking to get their eyebrows done and had no appointments. She then left me for 25+ minutes to go do their eyebrows. They had no appointments, I had an appointment and she chose to leave me sitting there for 25+ minutes for other customers who did not have appointments. She came back and by 1:30 she still was not done with my nails. I had to leave with my nails half finished because I had been there for 2+ hours and had a meeting. She still made me pay the full amount $70+. No apologies were given, no discount was given for not finishing, no refund was given. Worst customer service I’ve ever had at a nail salon. A good majority of the employees are rude to customers and do not wear masks. It is not clean: there’s food, dirt and dust everywhere. I would not recommend this place. Overpriced, horrible quality, no customer service, lack of care for any customers. Go somewhere else.***update to sonny response: I was not personally asked if she could go do eyebrows or if I cared. She said Ill be back then came back ~25 minutes later while I sat there waiting in the middle of my appointment. I made an appointment for a reason. The eyebrow customers should have been turned away with no appointment. I agreed on $65 price at the beginning for the specific design i asked for (smiley faces)...... after 2+ hours and 5 nails not finished I could not wait any longer and had to leave with 5/10 nails not finished because I did not have time to sit any longer (not final/finished agreed upon design for the $65). I paid $65 + $14 tip = $79 TOTAL for a design that was only 50% completed after 2+ hours. I expected a discount on the design price, etc. as original price agreed upon for design was not finished for 5/10 fingers. Disappointed in the customer service and response. Masks are not always worn by some employees while customers are there. Many other customers were asked to wait for 20+ minutes after their showing up for their scheduled appointment times because the manager accepts appointment requests the small staff can not meet. Go somewhere else where they honor their appointment times with much cleaner facilities and friendly staff. Sophie is great nail tech and always friendly, but Im extremely disappointed I was forced to wait 25 minutes in the middle of my scheduled appointment.

An older man did my pedi today. He was doing everything in a hurry. He put oil on one foot, but not the other, he was just rushing through with the whole process. I watched another younger technician and the lady he was working on was there before I got there and he was still working on her feet. This young technician was thorough and patient. I wish I couldve had him do my pedi. I would have given him a huge tip. He was good. I did not give the older man a big tip, because I did not feel like he deserved it.

Pros: Anh was able to execute the design perfectly based off a picture I showed her. Nice staff.Cons:They only had one technician available to do designs at the time.Overall good experience.

My appt was at 530 pm.they finally put my feet in soak. 15 mins later and a white cople walk in said they had a 6pm apptointment the Manager send the two girls to work on them first so i wait very patienceand i did t get do e until aft 8pm i dont care how good you are my money is green.

Check these out ladies! Tony hooked me up and you wouldnt believe all the different colors! Depending on the light source, theyre purple, pink, blue, navy and more with lighter shades AND deeper ones. Techs will make recommendations for your nail color and shape if you ask. Customer since October 2018. A shout out to Sonny, Tom and Kelly too! Great work! 😘

I come here every 2-3 weeks for Sofia to do my nails , she is awesome and takes her time and is very sweet ! The whole staff is nice to be around. They do an awesome job on my eyebrows also. ❤️❤️

This location is one of the best nail shops I’ve ever been to I refuse to go anywhere else and when I do I regret it this place is clean friendly and they practice all the Covid precautionary measures. Everyone is required to wear a mask and goes through pre-screening before they’re even able to sit down with the technician. And not only are they safe and clean they’re funny and friendly while getting your nails done.

When I say I have tried multiple nail salons in the Charlottesville area I mean it! This by far was the best experience I have had. Anh Did my nails beautifully and I also got a pedicure.

I visited here on a busy Saturday with my daughter and grandmother for pedicures and manicures, despite being busy, they were able to accommodate us all while providing quality and friendly service. I felt the establishment was very clean with covid guidelines in place. Looking forward to our next visit, recommendation for myself and fellow patrons; schedule and adhere to appointments (seems to help with traffic flow and covid precautions) :)

I wouldnt normally go here because they dont do the fancy designs I like. The price however, $35 for a refill and polish is ok compared to what I normally pay.Gel polish is 5$ extra

My daughter and I got pedicures, and I also got a full set.... EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE!! My daughters polish had chipped before we even got home. I asked for the tips to be the length of my original nails... Theyre not (much shorter). I got them matte, which you can see lumps and also the lines from the polish brush. Overall we spent $110 for some garbage! This was by far the WORST nail experience Ive had.... Wont be back!!

My friend made an appointment that they did not honor, they ignored her for 45 minutes and she just left after an hour. When she let them know how long we was waiting, they offered for her to come back the next day.

This is the absolute worst establishment I have ever been to in my life. I will never patronize this establishment. Very rude and unprofessional staff and are not deserving of my hard earned money.

Me and my friends went there and got a full set and they charged us more for a shape. And are nails were all messed up and rushed on and was cut and not the right size. From that experience we will never be back no matter what. I had to wait a hour before getting mine done and three people that had appointments after me were leaving before me. They have rude people there asking weird questions and I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I would put a zero rating if that was possible but of course it isn’t.

I went to Beauty Nail and Spa with my mom and daughter. They did great with mine and my moms pedicure and Anh did a beautiful job with my daughters nails. Pricy in my opinion but the quality did not disappoint.

I reccomend Royale Nails near wegmans on 5th street these people (especially the manager and his assistant) dont do that job right.

They took me back 40 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I showed the nail tech a fairly complicated picture of what I wanted so I wasn’t expecting much but the girl who did my manicure exceeded the picture I showed her. They turned out better than I could imagine and I get compliments everytime someone sees them. 10/10.

My girlfriend and I came in on a Sunday to get pedicures. We were seated nearly immediately. The lady who did my pedicure kept us laughing the whole time as my feet where in bad shape. The man who did her pedicure was quick, very nice and did a fantastic job. All around would highly recommended this place!

I was charged $60 for acrylic coffin shaped nails that weren’t even that long, price for a full set is $32. I’ve had acrylics and a pedicure (together, at the same time) be less than that amount. He took over an hour on my nails and they look like a 6 year old did them, not a professional. The shape looks like it would barely pass for coffin, some finger nails are different shapes that others. I would not recommend this place to anyone for acrylic needs. They are nice enough but the quality for that price does not match.

I had a great experience at this salon! Sonny, Kelly, and David were very kind and welcoming. They took us in without an appointment and we were serviced right away. Sunny was my technician and he did an amazing job. This was my first time getting almond shaped acrylics and I am so happy with the results! My pedicure experience was great too, the spa experience was very soothing! I was very well looked after; appreciate the heart of the experience.

I went to get a manicure before my wedding. I showed them a picture and was laughed at and told they couldn’t do it. Anh then got glitter that I was not a fan of and told me it looked good and that I did not need extra length without even asking what I thought. They then preceded to talk about me the entire time I was getting my nails done. I was then charged 70 dollars and did not even get something I liked and I am upset about how they turned out. I feel like they were disrespectful and I will never be going back or recommending anybody.

I love going to this salon. They are very clean and have taken COVID precautions. They are very thorough with both manicures and pedicures. Their hand and foot massages at the end of their services are to die for. I had ombré powder done today on my nails and am very impressed.

Got the dip done!! It looked great for the first week but then it seemed like there was dip on the cuticle, which lead the dip on the nail to lift once grown out at a certain length! Had to come in for a repair! The tech reapplied more dip onto my nail! Tina helped fix my nail! She’s great!!

Best spa on earth(The massage chairs are amazing and Im just sitting here waiting on my wife!) We are here now getting my wifes manicure and pedicure and the staff here are awesome! The new employees need more practice. Everyone beside me was offered a water it other beverage I was not. She had no idea how to remove gel polish. She filed one foot not the other. There was nothing to the pedicure and I was charged 27 dollars. When I told the manager she said because I had gel was why the obviously inexperienced employee had a hard time and took over an hour.... She left scrub on my feet as well.... The other employees did a better job on their customers. DONT GO TO THE NEW GIRL.

I decided to go to a new nail place because my regular one is now much further from my job and home. I saw how many good ratings this location had and decided to try it. I really did like it. Everyone working there was nice and were cracking jokes on each other (in English so that we all were laughing with them). It was a nice environment. My nail shape looks great. I get normal acrylics and normal polish. Regular polish normally lasts me two weeks to three. I realized after leaving that the dark color that I chose was not so even, as if it needed a little more attention to detail on the second coat. The top coat bubbled on two fingers. They are such minor imperfections, but bother me a bit. I noticed these after I left and was on my way home after they closed. This is not a large issue and I do plan on going again. Overall it was a pleasant experience and my nails are holding up for a week and a day. They look as if they were just done yesterday.

Normally when i go to a salon i sit quietly and wait for my nails to get finished. Rarely ever does the nail artist talk to me. The woman who did my nails held a conversation for the entire session. Even though we only spoke about the birds and the bees, it was nice.

I am happy with the service you guys gave me so appreciate so much!
