The windows themselves are really good. The installation was not. The pictures show how we were left. Now we will have to get another contractor to fix the job Universal windows should have did. Our gutters do not drain properly will have to have them fixed too. The only thing that was done acceptable was the sliding glass door.

I have five windows replaced in my home, double hung and one fixed window. They arrived ahead of schedule and did a great job removing the old windows and installing the new ones. The windows are a bit expensive, but the quality seems to be much better than my original windows so I think it was worth it. Everyone from the salesman, customer service to the installers were very polite and took care in cleaning up after the install.

This company was awesome! We had 11 windows installed in one day!!! Wow! The 2 guys were had were very professional, worked all day and left everything as it was! We love our new windows!!

Staff that came to install windows were experienced and professional. Very happy with the finished product. We had 9 windows replaced on the front of our house. There was a long lead-time to fabricate and get the windows ready for installation, but that was communicated up front.

We had been talking about getting windows replaced for a year and we ran across these folks at the Dixie Classic fair. We set up an appointment for a quote. And I have to say, start to finish this has been a really great experience. The sales guy who came out was professional, friendly, and fun to talk to. He spent over three hours with us, answering all our questions and going over all our options. I came away feeling like he genuinely WANTED our business (of the other two we had appointments with, one didnt even bother showing up and the other seemed bored out of his skull and was done in under an hour with his presentation). The guy who came out to do the second measurements was also very professional and informative, told us everything we needed to do to get ready for the install. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks to get the windows but they were ready in about four! And then the installers who came out were GREAT. They got the job done in a single day, did fantastic, and they were so funny and polite. They made it so easy and painless and treated us very well. The quote was competitive (about in the middle of the range we got, but the cheapest guy was some private contractor and the most expensive guy was $7k more and super rude), the quality of the work exceptional, and we LOVE our new windows. Ive been recommending them to my friends who are interested in windows because weve been so happy with the process from the get-go.

The windows are great, but with spending almost 14,000 dollars we are VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE INSTALL and after 4 different times trying to make it right (every time making them look worse then the time before) the workers just got in their vehicles and drove away. Havent heard back from the company and now we are stuck with this disaster... DEFINITELY DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

I gave universal windows a five star rating, but theres only one negative that you might be aware of in the future. From the time that I ordered my windows until they were installed (if there were one window or five windows) 14/16 weeks is way too long for the homeowner.

Chris came out the same day we scheduled him, with no wait turnaround at all (which was wonderful since we need a new window urgently). He was very professional and explained the product in great detail, including a demonstration with a blowtorch! We appreciated his investment in the windows and his knowledge. Thank you Chris!

UWD product is not durable. I brought a fiber glass entry door November 2019. The door was installed January 2020, I was so happy! By May 2020 the window inside of the door started to melt. UWD replaced the window I thought that was the end, could have possibly be a defective product. Within 5 months the same problem happened, but even worst. I am still waiting to replace the window. Was told by the salesman to replace my storm door with a low E storm door. Which I did, but that didn’t help. This door is a hazard, it smell like melting plastic that’s about to catch on fire.I thought about getting Windows from this company but after my continuous problem with this door, I changed my mind. THIS IS UNSATISFACTORY.I have attached pictures of the door. This is cheap, cheesy product for high dollar price.

We had a very large project (34 windows, front entry door with full sidelights and transom, and French door to slider in back of house). Everything from start to finish was great. The Sales Representative Vincent Adams sold windows to my neighbor down the street and they referred him to us. We couldnt be happier with the whole process. Juniors crew did an outstanding job with the installation, and they were extremely courteous answering any questions we had during the two day installation. I would recommend Universal Windows Direct of Charlotte to anyone looking to replace their windows or doors.

Chris did a great job during our consultation. He helped us understand the difference between Universal Windows and others on the market, he explained in detail the differences in both quality and warranty. They go above and beyond in all aspects of window design. Who knew there was so much about windows that I had never even thought of! The whole process was simple and easy, they worked with us on our budget to make sure we were comfortable and we are very happy with the decision we have made.

Installers were timely - - arriving within the two-hour projected timeframe to arrive. Three men were assigned to the job. One installer approached the door and immediately introduced himself, and introduced the other two installers. They immediately assessed the job and informed of how they would proceed. They worked consistently and professionally ... completing the job as anticipated. Very pleased with the outcome to include the the use of wood filler to seal holes/gaps from sashing removed and caulking as a sealant.Finally ... I was provided opportunity to inspect the work to assure satisfaction before signing papers for job completion.I highly recommend Universal Windows. They did an outstanding job.

I love my windows. I put half in last year and just finished the rest of my windows today. They have helped my electric bill go down and they are true Quality Windows that are easy to clean and are made well. An absolute horrible experience. I spoke to 2 different people on the phone and got the creepy vibe of a time-share sales pitch. They wanted to come to my house in the evening and wanted to make sure my spouse was available. I told them I did not want a high pressure sales pitch or a time share presentation and they assured me it was nothing like that. I scheduled the estimate. The salesman showed up at 6:55 pm carrying 2 large bags, a book bag, and binders. When he came in, I again said I only needed a quote for replacing windows and he said, OK, I will keep this quick then proceeded to take out binders and start the pitch going back to the company founding, the accolades they have received, the history of the founders, etc and we werent even a quarter of the way through the first binder. He stopped at that point, about 10 minutes, and ask me if it was a company I would like to do business with. I told him I wanted a quote for windows not a presentation and told him we were done and he needed to leave. Such a disrespectful company and horrible business model. How could anyone think this is OK after repeatedly being told by a prospective customer that this is NOT what was wanted? Would never recommend even considering this disrespectful company to come anywhere near your home project

We just had our in-home estimate with Chris, who was extremely professional and enjoyable to work with. He spent a significant amount of time educating me on their product and process. It’s obvious that Chris knows his product extremely well and stands behind the quality, as well as his installation team and lifetime warranty. I hope we get the windows sooner than estimated but certainly recognize the supply challenges that have been caused by COVID. I would recommend anyone to give an hour to Chris, he never pressured me into making a decision and was happy to answer all of my questions. If the product matches the quality of Chris, we’ll be happy campers.

We had eight windows replaced, the instillation crew did and excellent job installing the windows. We will have to see over the next few weeks how energy efficient these windows are, along with noise reduction.

This is a quality window. So much nicer than a $150 construction grade window. The installation is quick and they work swiftly as a team. We had old wood windows and replaced all but our 3 new single hung construction grade windows in the remodel. 4 years later I was frustrated with the lack of quality of those construction grade windows. I had to lean on the window to latch it, for example. And it had no security feature to prevent entry if we cracked the ground floor windows. They looked great but they were cheap. We decided to go ahead and replace them to match. The crew was in and out in about an hour. They did good work and cleaned up fairly well. They were even early. Great warranty on the product.

The installers arrived on time and wore their masks the entire time. They were professional and got the job done in a quick amount of time. This is our 2nd time using Universal Windows Direct and we will definitely use them again for future projects! Their products are well made and they stand by their warranties - we had a window replaced after getting cracked by a rock and they were able to replace the window free of charge!

From the Sales person that came to my house right to Greg and Scott that did the installation, it was a very professional job. Greg and Scott did an amazing job and didn’t waste any time getting it done. They picked up all trash, vacuum inside the house and even cleaned the windows which they didn’t have to do. The windows came in on time and Greg and Scott didn’t stop until they were done. Universal windows will be replacing the rest of the windows without a doubt. I recommend them to anyone needing windows replaced.

Terrible in every department, unless youre looking to schedule an estimate it will take you all day to get ahold of someone. Sales is especially incompetent; sales guy promised a custom door and delivered a standard one instead. The sales manager wouldnt correct the situation stating they satisfied the contract. Installation is poor quality, had to tell installers to stop smoking in front our toddler, installs are inconsistent, installers will install your windows and leave rot in the frame if you dont keep an eye on them, giant gaps between framing and window + door even when paying for a complete reframe. Lastly very poor character of nearly everyone I dealt with their #1 priority is profit and Im not sure customer satisfaction is even on the list its dead last if it is. This company taught me a valuable lesson . . .who not to do business with.

He was prompt for our appointment and managed the likes of our various personalities including several sophisticated women and a nit picky engineer.Tyler more than competently explained the features of the windows in a simple and clear cut manner. Demonstrating his expertise, we were able to see the benefits of the low-e glass, the construction of the window frame, as well as design of the glass panels. I have never written a negative review about a company before because I work in a similar field and know the impact a negative review can cause. After a lot of thought and no response from the company I feel left no other options. It has been 5 months since the original install and I am still unhappy with the work that was done. It took many phone calls over a month to get someone to come out and discuss the issues I was having. She was nice and agreed that the windows had not been wrapped properly and that she could fix them. A month later she was finally back to re-wrap all of the windows but didn’t get to finish that day. It took another month for her to come back and finish the last three windows. The work still isn’t what I expected and what I feel I was sold. During this time I was put in contact with the “warehouse manager” who I was told is in charge of the office, and after 3 separate phone calls never once even opened my email with the pictures of the issues so he could have an actual discussion with me. I then wrote an email to my sales guy and receive a call back from the sales manager who seemed understanding and explained my sales guy was no longer with the company. The sales manager is actually who set up the site visit for the service call to re-wrap the windows. I attempted to reach him again when I found out that it would take a month to return to finish the re-wrapping I was unable to get a response from him until I called the customer service line very upset. He called me back, 3 calls later, and told me that I was not a priority because he was the sales manager and I had a service issue. I attempted once again get him to put me in contact with someone else who would help me deal with my service issue and he flat out refused but also refused to help me any further. I have asked everyone in this company to just tell me who it is I need to speak to and no one wants to take responsibility or put me in contact with anyone that will. I am stuck with windows that do not esthetically meet my expectations, one window that is actually damaged and no one will replace and the large front window shakes when you walk through the living room. I made the decision to go with this company without knowing that they are run mostly out of Ohio and those in the office in Charlotte clearly do not care once the windows are in. This doesn’t include my broken solar lights, the flowers that were trampled to the point that it’s just dirt now, the spray foam that was sticking to my patio furniture and the left over metal was thrown into the yard disposal bin sitting next to the trash can. Over all I have turned family members away from this company and I would highly suggest everyone else think twice before signing this contract. I will say the windows themselves are beautiful but every other part of this has been a terrible experience.

He showed us the difference in the quality of Universals windows versus the other companies and did side by side comparisons. When they finally came out to do the installation last week the installers were very professional and clean. They did an amazing job installing and cleaning up after themselves when they finished. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get new windows installed.

UW replaced my windows a year or so ago. I ordered a warranty replacement window for one someone had accidentally cracked. After many weeks of waiting the window finally arrived. Unfortunately, it was the wrong style. The grills were missing. Tech said office would reach out to me. After waiting 11 days I called. No record of wrong window. They got it ordered again. Well see how long it takes.7/13/21 - four weeks and still no replacement window. Called UW. Got message that no one was available to take my call. Left message. Dropping one star.

Although the salesman was pleasant, and the doors seem to be if good quality, it has now been 4 1/2 months since our initial order, and our project is still not complete! They had to come out two times as the doors werent measured properly, and return a third time after they ran out of caulk. I have had to take a day off of work without pay three times now for this project, and at this point weve been waiting over 2 months for more grout to be ordered to fix this ugly mess that the installers left behind (which well have to take another day off of work for) . . . this is what $8,000 will get you for two doors . . . We will never use this company again!

Sylvester Harris is the rep who came today. He is very excited about his product and interested in making home owners happy with their new windows. He is professional, learned, very funny and personable. This is the second time we have used Universal Windows Direct of Charlotte. Our first experience is the reason we wanted to do business with UWC. There was no mess, there was no delay, the installers worked diligently until the job was done and suited our needs. BTW we have an older home that has tricky window but Universal was able to accomplish installation.

Chris is very knowledgeable about the product. Everything was thoroughly explained, and we received a great price. Highly recommend this company.

I had Universal Windows Direct come to my house to give me a quote on 8 windows. I loved the product and features of the windows. I had setup multiple appointments to get quotes even as the sales rep tells you to. As we get through the sales pitch and get the prices there were 2 huge differences. If we signed tonight without having a chance to get other quotes we would save basically 1/3rd the cost of our project. If the salesman walked out our door we would have a 30 day price at almost $4,000 more expensive. That put a bad taste in my mouth with the company. Also before he could leave he had to contact his boss like it was a car salesmen to offer anything else. I really didn’t enjoy that and seemed very unprofessional, if you quote me a price and say it’s your best price then shouldn’t have to sit around waiting for a call into your boss/owner of company. I’m still working on getting other quotes but Universal windows direct is so far the highest quote because of the walk out door pricing.

Do not give them your number, email, or physical address. They will call and harass you all hours of the day and night. Five calls in one day. One. And this is with me being on their “no call list”. Also get email and mail mail constantly. Ridiculous. Already had to have them back out too because the window had mold all around it. The window they replaced? My kid’s. Yep she’s living with mold now. So basically paid to infect my kid and be stalked.

The installers, Gary and Clint arrived on time and went to work on replacing our kitchen window. They were dilgent to lay out their protective covering before they began the extraction of the window. They were not bothered by my supervision nor by my questions. They installed the window, cleaned up within two hours upon arrival. We are 10+ satisfied with the installation of our new kitchen window.

We met with Universal Windows Direct today with Salesperson Chris. It was a pleasure doing business with him as he was very respectful, knowledgeable and kind. We put in a request for a free estimate on the UWD website and received a call from a representative (rep) as soon as we hit submit. The rep was able to schedule an appointment with a sales rep for two days later. Alex, was our sales rep. He arrived on time, was very friendly, and informative. He spent 2 1/2 hours with us explaining the history of UWD, providing information about the windows, showing us a comparison of window replacement costs in the area, and complimenting the company / owners. We signed a contract with him that night and scheduled an appointment for a UWD employee to come out and measure our current windows. Nate arrived ahead of our scheduled appointment time and was very diligent. We are now in the production phase, so we will report back in a few weeks to let you know about our final product and installation.

Great installation service. They were clean and cleaned up nicely afterwards. The windows look amazing! I love my windows!! When I had questions, I quickly received answers. Overall quality is excellent and process was painless.

Update: I have received a response to work towards resolution of the installation.Ordered windows in June 2020. Two installation dates later and windows were damaged each time. Windows ordered without damage remain to be installed. Requested a refund for failure to provide an undamaged product. I was informed they would only cancel the contract and keep my deposit. Attempted to call customer service three times while waiting on the second installation date from August with no call back. I had to call the home office to get a person to call me back. Still no resolution 4 months later. Complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau. I was informed 11 other complaints had been previously filed.

I had Universal Windows Direct Charlotte replace 2 exterior doors on 8/17/20. The doors were 8 feet apart, and were supposed to both have white exterior trim. They installed black on one and white on the other. They also damaged the area around the interior of both doors I noted these problems on the installation paperwork and was told by the installer they would correct this. I called them 4-6 weeks later and they said they had no record of the problem but would order the trim and get it fixed. Weeks go by with no contact and my wife calls and they say they have the trim there and they will contact to set up install date. Weeks go by again and when we call the trim is no longer there. A couple of weeks later my wife emails and gets zero response. I submit a complaint to the BBB on 12/15, and Universal calls my wife the next day saying they have the trim and want to set up installation date. I call them and they say the earliest they can do it is over 5 weeks from now! I paid them over $6,000 in August and they cannot do this job correctly for more than 5 months. Avoid, avoid, avoid! This is a terrible company to do business with! I implore you to use someone local because the service here is abysmal! Universal Windows Direct of Charlotte is incompetent at best, but possibly practicing unethical business practices.

Don’t ever give these people your contact info. They are the fungus of the business. They will never go away.!!! After telling them several times that we had abandoned the project, they call and/or text us multiple times every. Single. Day. Calls come from announced and blind numbers. I think they all have to go to used car salesman school to qualify for the job......

My daughter put these in her home and almost every one of the leak air. Her electric bill this year was almost $300 higher that previous year. The company sent out 2 inspectors 2 separate times to review and both stated the installation was shoddy and that one window will fall out. The company only will negotiate to take off a small percentage of the cost.. My daughter has been very patiently waiting for the company to be fair, but they have been insulting and rude. The windows are very poor quality in comparison with Lowes product and the installation is down right horrible.

Chris was very direct and honest, didnt try to haggle with us. Love the double lifetime warranty. Will update on completion.

Honestly if I could do 0 stars I would! The windows were mismeasured, so they are too small for the openings( most about 2 inches too small), despite their ads and tv commercials they(uwd-charlotte) does not have their own installers, instead they hire contractors to do the job. Your house and surrounding area is not cleaned properly, Im still picking up nails and small debris, they did not vacuum their mess inside the house.UWD of Charlotte so far does not seem to want to fix things and make right on their motto, just pay me to keep my mouth shut so they can sweep this bad experience under the rug.Now 1 week ago they were supposed to schedule for someone to come out and reevaluate the situation, no appointment yet, I will update that part tomorrow.At this point I Highly Recomend if you want/need new windows go elsewhere, UWD-Charlotte will screw you, they do not have top priority on customer service and/or satisfaction, seems to me make a sale take your and go (Cant See It From My House!) Kind of attitudeOh yeah, they dont have many bad reviews because those that have a bad experience they draw up a contract that is basically a gag order, too many people fell for that instead of standing up for themselves.Any one else with a bad experience speak your mind, its your Right, ( just do it within the bounds of the law), inform everyone of wrong doings by this and any corp. Consumers need to know, Period!.It has been over a week and noone has responded to me about this situation, it seems uwd does not care about their customers, and that they only want the money then run,Beware People when buying prods/services for your home improvements!The salesman(Angelo) never came out on the first day or the last as promised, never heard from again after the deal was made.If these people(I will not name names at this time) truly cared about customer service/satisfaction this issue would have been resolved before now!This needs taken care of Period! Was not pleased at all.Sales rep was quite rude and obnoxious especially when called out my wife while “on the phone with the boss”.Used the pushy today only discount of “$10,000”off if you sign today.Product was low end compared to other companies I believe.It was the low end of your products and the quote we received was more than double all other quotes we have received..Update:Not going to ask for details to find who this sales person was??? Looking at previous reviews it looks like I am not the only one with similar issues. I feel bad for the suckers you guys scam with your tactics.

Best buy anyone could have, excellent sales presentation , on time install, very professional installer, details matter very concern on appearance of windows took extra care in my satisfaction. Left no material laying around, would not know anything had been done except for looking at a beautiful set of windows that were just install. Thanks again to Universal Window Direct

Im sure their product is good but customer service is 95% of a sale. Your competitors will have comparable products so why not do better? Hopefully they will learn soon being available to answer calls and or atleast making it a priority to return calls is very important for retention and gaining new customers. How many messages does one have to leave before a returned call? Dont just make the sale and then disappear. Im done and will not be referring them.

The windows seem to be what they advertised. But .......... one of the plastic pieces broke. It has taken over a year to get them to come back and fix it. They have poor customer service. Tech brought wrong parts twice. The third time never showed up. So the fourth time has yet to come ......... update one day I hope.

Brian Hagen came by to tell us what Universal Windows had to offer. What we got was a full blown education on replacement windows and a even a demonstration of their products. We had selected this company to install a handful of windows on our house. The sales pitch took a very long time, approximately 3 hours which is way to long with two small kids. Getting your order information is very aggravating. You never speak to a person directly you are always directed to their call center and someone calls you back. If you miss that call you have to start all over again. The information they send out about your order or your installation is also not correct. The dates don’t match up and they blame it on the current Covid situation. The first crew that came out was very professional and completed the job in a very timely manner. They wore their masks and kept their social distance.We ended up adding an additional window which was supposed to install the window on a Monday at 8am. Even with the two hour “travel window” they didn’t show. I took off the whole day to have my window installed and no one informed me ahead of time that the crew could not make it. Instead they called me at 11am the day of and said they are behind on another project and due to the weather a couple of days prior. I was informed that the crew would still make it out that day (Monday) and install the window. They didn’t. They ended up coming a day after where the crew did not wear masks and implement social distancing. I was contacted by Universal Windows shortly after to see if I had a “fantastic” experience. I didn’t and I informed her why. The communication was definitely lacking and I did not feel like an appreciated customer. I still don’t. She told me she would expedite my comments to upper management but they seem to be very busy because I have yet to hear back.Definitely wouldn’t recommend them in the future.Edit: it’s been a month since someone “should call me” regarding this review. No one has emailed or texted me. Really disappointed considering I am giving them 15 grand.

Was very impressed with the entire sales process and the presentation. Randall Patton was on time, professional and respectful of house and out family. There was no high pressure selling, more of a respectful conversation. If in the market for replacement windows, consider calling UWD.

Had Evan come out and get some windows installed last year and I love them! Install went perfect and they were super clean. Once they were installed I immediately noticed the energy savings. I love my windows!!

Excellent craftsmanship. The color matched my other windows perfectly so I did not have to replace all of them. Installers were courteous and friendly. They cleaned up and worked continuously!

We had 10 windows put in and 1 of the windows has the pane crooked. The guys that installed took photos and noted our bill. They said someone would be in contact with me. 1 week went by I heard nothing. Emailed them, called and left msg, also emailed our sales representative Tyler. NO RESPONSE! Its now been over two weeks. Because of this I would not recommend them. The bad window needs corrected!

Evan Perez was the representative that came out to the house. He was very thorough and answered every question. When I first set the appointment I was only replacing one large window. I was very impressed by the product and decided to replace all of the double hung windows. I’m looking forward to getting this project started. Oh - and I found out they do gutters too! One more home improvement project I can check off my list!

This company is awesome. We have had several people come out and quote windows and show us the product. But this company knew the product. The sales rep Jake new the window inside and out. And me being and in construction I already knew what I was expecting. But he knew everything I was asking about from start to finish. They even got us approved for financing when others companies couldnt.

I haven’t actually met with anyone yet, but did call to set up an appointment this week. After reading a lot of the Google reviews about the salesmen being pushy, I decided to cancel it. We ONLY want an estimate and have no intention of making a decision on the spot, but based off the reviews these salesmen have a hard time taking no for an answer. That is something we do not want to deal with, with any company for that matter, nor do we want to sit through a 1.5-3 hour sales pitch. I called to cancel the appointment and just stated we were putting the project on the back burner for now (which we are) and was asked 3 different times to basically reconsider, could they come out another day, if I let them come out this week they would give me an Amazon gift card, what changed my mind, and so on. I get they want to makes sales but when a salesman is pushy, people start to shut down immediately. When we do decide to do this down the road, I already do not want to give them a call back because of this. I will say though, when I made the appointment the man I spoke to was very nice and did mention that both homeowners have to be present (even if only one handles everything) to avoid having to come back out a second time to make changes because a spouse was not present. I can understand that but also in a lot of cases that cannot always happen for some people. Just seems like a petty rule to stick to if you’re losing potential customers because of it.Update: April 23, 2020These people WILL NOT stop calling me!! I have told them over and over that I am no longer interested and the calls keep coming. I had to block one number and now today they’ve started in on another number. These people harass you to no end to get business. I will never use this company now because of this. STOP CALLING ME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!

Before we went to Universal Windows we had an other supplier in mind, but that did work out well.Their sales rep. was several hours late on the agreed appointment time, so we cancelled them, and we went to the Universal Windows. And were happy we did. Their Sales rep. was right on time and he did the exellent job on his sales presentations that made us to change our minds for buying from the Universal Windows, and of course the great price we got from them.The installation of the windows came way earlier than was predicted which was good for us, sooner the better. Mr. Lisk and his crew worked hard in order to finish the installation in one day which they day did. The installation is professionally done and looks good. Only minus about this was that the crew did not wear masks during the installation. My wife and I are really happy with our new windows and would recommend Universal Windows to anybody who asks.

What a joke these guys are. My wife and I came across the booth for these guys at the Home and Garden show in Charlotte. We set an appointment with the girl at the booth for Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. It was communicated to the girl at the show that only I would be available for the meeting and she said that would be fine. As a sweetener for setting the appointment at the show we would be entitled to a discount for keeping our appointment.Here we are the day before the appointment and I get a call from a Chicago area code for the follow up confirmation of the appointment. This guy insists that my wife must be present or they will not come out. I explain to him that my wife isnt available, and will not become available. The appointment was made to meet with ME alone, not us. I told him that I exclusively make the decisions on household improvements and he insisted that my wife must be there and we needed to reschedule...rescheduling of course would nullify the sweetener discount we were promised at the Home and Garden show. So its clear to me from this behavior these guys are less than honest in their business practices.Theres plenty of competition out there and my recommendation to everyone is to keep on shopping right past these guys.

I was told they have in-house installers but they were not. One even told me they can give me a better price on future work. They did not use drop clothes or do any vacuuming. Left dust all over kitchen and kids room. Left footprints in the dormers. Windows were not cleaned well. The caulking is pathetic, I could have done better. They were smoking in our front and backyard. The siding around kitchen window has large cracks that will let rain in and a chunk of siding broke off. Told me all screens were made wrong so will be another 4 weeks. They make one attempt to call a day and every time I call, goes to voicemail. Absolutely horrible company!

Came to our house for an estimate, 2 hours at that, and have not left us alone since. In the 48 hours since they left our house, we have recieved 32 voicemails and 18 emails. Even after telling them not to call us, they persist. Next call, we will report them to the BBB. Also, their original quote to us was $8900. $4900 higher than another quote recieved.There is no sense in this. They must be desperate. By the way, any other review site gives them very poor reviews, which leads me to think they pad these Google reviews. Do your homework. Glad we dug a little deeper.

My husband Chris and I just had windows put in about a month ago. I wanted to thank the crew for doing an amazing job. They started on the job at about 10:30 am and were done by 3pm, and we have 12 windows. The windows look amazing and we can tell a difference in the noise level and look forward to getting the first power bill to see how much we save. Our house looks so much better now that we have the new windows. I would highly recommend Universal Windows Direct to everyone. From the phone call I made to get them to come demonstrate, to Sam coming out showing us the windows and the installation, it was a very pleasant experience. We never felt pressured. Thank you again for the best experience we could have asked for with our purchase.
