Pipe busted in our new home. Plumber fixed, however he had to cut holes in the walls and the carpet got wet. Flood medics dried us out and repaired everything like new. They are professional and punctual. Highly recommend this company if you have any water issues.

Mike, was an effective advocate in dealing with our insurance company to ensure corners werent being cut in the determination of the claim amount. After a significant upward adjustment to the insurance claim, I called our insurance contact to ensure everything was to their satisfaction and their representative complimented Mike on his thoroughness in identifying items the insurance companys own adjuster did not consider. How often does that happen?Flood Medics has a really talented water remediation and construction team. The end result–to this discriminating household–was beyond our expectations. We just might find an area in the house that needs sprucing and hose it down so Flood Medics can return to further enhance another part of our humble home.

Hired FloodMedics for remediate/ restore and repair of water damaged. They were able to remediate but were unresponsive after numerous calls and promised to restore. After they more than a month later they came back to tell they were looking for another 2 months for repair. They keep me hanging and did not communicate the delay for me to look for other options. I would not trust them for future project.

Flood Medics was recommended by our plumber here in Rock Hill. I did a little research online and decided to follow through with that recommendation. Flood Medics completed the first phase of the job very professionally. Because of the accessibility and responsiveness of the communication with Flood Medics during the cleanup phase, we decided to contract with them for the second phase the restoration process. Our job was no small matter. We needed to completely remove all flooring from the first floor. They did it in a timely fashion and provided the professionalism that was necessary to complete the job. We experienced a leak under the slab of our house and Albert, Mike, and the Flood Medics team were fast with on-site mitigation in coordination with the plumbing company. They were informative and kept open lines of communication through the mitigation and restoration processes. There was clear emphasis on customer satisfaction from start to finish.

I had water damage due to a leak in the wall intake value at the toilet. There was mold as well due to the long standing leak. The plumbing company suggested Flood Medics. I spoke to Albert about the issue. I was ready to pay out of pocket and he suggested calling my insurance company. It turns out that was the best way to handle the issue. I was very pleased with the work they did - replacing dry wall, flooring and painting. It took 2 days. They cleaned up as they worked and did not leave a mess overnight. They also ended up replacing the toilet. I have a brand new bathroom and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

I recently had the roofing in my garage that had been leaking for quite a while that started leaking into the walls, laundry room, kitchen, and crawlspace of our home. Flood medics was contracted to do a small flood repair for me. Nearly a year later, the job hasnt been completed. They passed the blame and have had 3 separate people come in to do minimal work. Now they wont return calls or emails. They are aware that my house needs to be appraised and that still hasnt encouraged them to finish my job.UPDATE: The work was completed. Albert followed through as promised. If you want to wait a year for mediocre work then call them first.

Had a water leak from my air conditioner in the attic and water came through the ceiling. These guys were at my house immediately. All the equipment was set up quickly and clean. All cords taped down and everything was very professional. I wouldnt use anyone else.

Flood Medics did an awesome job on our bathroom. We discovered a leak and they were there that day to evaluate. Our insurance company had worked with them in the past, and made that process extremely easy to navigate since they already knew their work. Mike was really helpful as it was our first claim (first house), on the process itself and picked up the phone literally every time I called. They are extremely responsive. My only small qualm was it was a large gap between the bathroom getting torn up to when it was fixed, but that was partially our fault by waiting to long to pick out materials/work with the insurance. Their crew is great, and our bathroom floor looks wonderful now. Very glad we came across them! Will call them back without hesitation if we ever needed any work done again.

We used Flood Medics twice for major water damage that occurred in our basement and first floor. Mike was wonderful in helping us understand the process to ensure the clean up was done properly and mold issues were abated. He also handled everything with our insurance company to make sure the right claims were filed and everything they required was supplied. In both cases we also used Flood Medics for the restoration work and again they excelled. Albert and his crew did great work with flooring - both laying a new laminate floor in the basement and refinishing a hardwood floor on our main level - and with the painting, drywall, and trim work. Everything now looks better than new. I would highly recommend using Flood Medics in the event you have any kind of water damage occur at your home. They are superb for both the cleanup and the restoration.

I was contacted by Mike Paturzo on Friday, November 23, 2018. My contact information was given to Flood Medics by the plumbing company with whom I’d contracted to repair a leak in my mother’s home in Charlotte, NC. My mother (SC Glenn) is 89 years old and I have durable power of attorney to handle her affairs. The leak in the hot water line behind the washing machine had caused extensive damage to drywall and hardwood flooring. Paturzo came by the house that same afternoon and advised me to contact the insurance company. Drying equipment was placed in the house on approximately November 28 and stayed there for about a week. Paturzo also submitted a detailed estimate for water mitigation services and restoration to my mother’s insurance company.The insurance company denied the homeowner claim and I was asked by Paturzo on December 5, 2018 to pay for the water mitigation services. He received a check the same day. When I asked about restoration process and how to proceed, Paturzo would not respond by telephone or email. I also contacted the Flood Medics office on December 6 and requested that Paturzo or someone contact me about restoration needed to repair the sheet rock and hardwoods damaged by the plumbing leak. I also inquired if Flood Medics only dealt with projects covered by insurance and was told that was not the case. To date, no one from Flood Medics has contacted me.I was fortunate enough to find another contractor to complete the restoration work.While I would highly rate the water mitigation services provided, the seemingly reluctance of Paturzo and Flood Medics to at least correspond with me about the restoration/reconstruction work is what led to the low overall rating.

Great experience.We had major flood in the house and our neighbors recommended Flood Medics. After calling them Albert came within couple of hours with his crew. They assess the situation and jumped right in. They moved all the furniture, removed all the wet baseboards. They were in crawlspace ripping all wet insulation. They installed powerful fan and dehumidifier to dry our floors to prevent from building mold. Albert came every otherday to check floor conditions and moisture level in the floors. Project manager Mike was very professional and curteous. He took care of all the paperwork and worked with our insurance company. They installed our new floors and painted all the effected area.Now our home looks better than before. They turned a nightmare into beautiful wish come true. I will highly recommend Flood medices to all our friends and family.

Flood medics came to dry out our water damage and gave us a 2 month lead time on being able to do the actual repairs. Than i was in a battle between the insurance company and flood medics to get them paid for ya work they did do. I communicated between the insurance company and flood medics and eventually got a very nasty text message from Michael who i totally dried out my water damage home. Threatening me with a law suit, in the future i should hire people and actually pay them, and was very rude. Unfortunately i chose a bad insurance company and later figured that out. So no one needs to be talked too with such disrespect and i would actually hate to see how he dealt with unruly customers. Would never recommend or use them again.

BEWARE!! DO NOT USE!!Albert came out 12 hours after my kitchen ceiling sheetrock collapsed from a leaking air conditioner and told us we didnt need dehumidifiers and dryer, despite being asked for them for fear of mold within 48 hours. It was soaking wet, but he said wed be fine without it.4 days later, and too late to prevent mold growth, he sent Mike out with the same test equipment who found the areas Albert said were dry even upstairs to be wet. The monitors were being held on the wall joints, where we were later shown by an honest company would cause a false positive reading.Mike had an argument with our initial insurance adjuster trying to add on additional services with the drying, which she testified occurred over the phone when we didnt hear back from Flood Medics for 12 days. I called the Albert to ask what happened, and he got defensive when I asked why he 1st said we didnt need drying, then hung up refusing to talk to me, saying I wasnt the home owner. The home is in trust to me with my mother who was there when he told us 1st wed be fine, and she also never heard another word from him.They had the audacity to send a letter to our home owners insurance company that we had refused drying, when wed both asked for it, and 1st were lied to that it wasnt needed, and days later told a completely different story, too late to prevent mold spores. Luckily the insurance company disregarded the letter after having the argument with Mike documented.At no time did Flood Medics offer drying within the critical 48 hours period, or a waiver we could sign to pay for it prior ourselves without insurance reimbursement, as we would have gladly begun the drying process, but we were lied to by Albert instead.My only guess is their drying equipment was in use elsewhere, and they were dishonest and risked mold exposure in my home just to try to expand the damages to our insurance days later. We ended up having to pay another flood damage company to treat for mold spores from the attic to my kitchen 2 weeks later after Albert hung up on me, and didnt return calls to my mother. He sent the letter that wed refused drying to our insurance one month later.What was already a disaster became so much worse because of Flood Medics.Beware.*Update: Alberto wanted this review taken down enough to threaten us with being sued. Unfortunately for him, its all documented. When his staff argued with our insurance company trying to add on uneeded charges, they documented it too. Stuff it Alberto. The truth is protected.Try Spangler friends. Anyone else.
