I usually don’t leave negative post about companies having a business myself I attempt to provide everyone with a good customer service. I ordered a dumpster and it was supposed to be delivered on a specified day when it wasn’t delivered on that day I called the office. I spoke to young lady at the office and when I tried to voice my frustrations she continued to talk over me. She told me that the order came specifically from the owner when I asked to speak to the owner to voice my frustrations she said he wasn’t available and continue to over talk to me then she hung up on me. During the whole conversation I wasn’t rude I wasn’t belligerent.When I called back I talked to a different young lady who said she was sitting right beside the first young lady that I talked with and she overheard the conversation and she was rude as well. I said I need to speak to a manager. She said she was the manager. Then she continued to be rude and said if I found another dumpster place that I needed to go with them if I didn’t like their customer service. Like I said before I usually don’t leave reviews especially if I have not spoken with a higher up or the owner but I would not recommend this company to anybody. I have never been treated so rudely by a business ever. I ordered from another place to say the least.

They are quick to take a payment, but not so quick on response. Office was rude when I called for updates. If I had known the service was going to be 8 hours later I would have called around for other providers. We were told in the morning someone would be on site, and follow up calls advised they were on the way. They then had a small spill, that we were left to clean up. We didn’t read the reviews, it was an emergency. Several events require both dumpsters and portable toilets that are managed by friends of mine, I will ensure they stay away from Carolina Container. I know this review will not receive a good response from their management (by reading the other mgt responses) but hopefully it helps someone else. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Be Safe...

I rented a dumpster from them. They are always so on time when comes to collect payment But, when I asked them to pick up the container they did not do it. I need the container pick up to be able to Close on a house Iam selling . I called them everyday and they keep saying is on schedule . It has been a week and they still have not pick up the container causing me a delay on closing and money I have to pay to buyer for delay. Horrible company to do business with

SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, MONEY AND AGGRAVATION!!!I honestly dont which was more egregious, the ridiculously SLOW service or the RUDENESS and contempt for a paying customer exhibited by the staff with EVERY interaction.40 other one star reviews and complaints is not a coincidence, its a trend! I could go on with a list of specific examples of how they repeatedly failed to deliver timely service and treat me with common courtesy (much less respect), but that would be wasting more time on these people after theyve already wasted so much of my time as it is.STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

We have been waiting THREE weeks for service! It is disgusting, They said our GPS shows are truck as been there, lies..I would put a picture on here, but it is to gross to look at or smell. PLEASE COME AND CLEAN OUR POTTY!! Problem has been resolved hopefully they will continue on a weekly basis like they are supposed to do.

I dont know why the one stars reviews. This company is solid and answers the phone every we need a new toilet delivered.I highly recommend this company.

I was told that I would recieve a price match on a port a potty for my sons graduation. they did not deliver the port a potty that was to be priced matched and gave as a lower level unit that did not flush. When I called today to let them know she was extremely extremely rude to me and raised her voice and was basically arguing with me and refused to give us the difference back. I guess bc they got the money they are happy with themselves. Even though that unit I could of got for $35 cheaper someplace else. There website did say they would beat any price but that seems to be a lie. DO NOT do business with these people!!! I have never been treated this way.

Difficult to deal with. Our contractor said the dumpster would be delivered a week ago; I think today he called them again to reiterate that it was already supposed to be here, so they showed up today. It was instructed by our contractor to be put at the end of the driveway. I parked my car at the end of the driveway and expected to move my car when the doorbell rang. I took a short nap, and did not hear the doorbell ring, or any attempt to ask me to move my car. So when I woke up, there was a dumpster right in the middle of the driveway, blocking my car. My dad then got home and called their number to talk to someone about this problem. The lady was rude and unapologetic, saying that she wouldn’t have parked her car in the driveway if she knew they were going to put a dumpster there. Keep in mind that we’ve been thinking they would show up with it for a whole week, so who knew when they would actually be here. Anyway, my dad got the situation straightened out. The guy who came to move it was nice and helpful, and actually put it at the back of the driveway as requested. This company was difficult to deal with, but there aren’t a lot of container services in Charlotte. Save yourself the hassle if you can.

Jeff and the team at Carolina Container Services came through big for me during a busy holiday weekend. They showed diligence with a quick response and great service. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for great customer service!!

I had a great experience. I needed a 30yd container on a Saturday. I gave several companies a call that morning, but they were the only ones who could get me out a container that same day. It arrived a couple hours later and the driver took the time to put it exactly where I wanted it. Great service.

I literally just called and wanted to this company the benefit of the doubt... I wanted pricing and availability for a dumpster for one of my clients and just like everyone else said.... the Woman who answered the phone was RUDE and definitely didnt have an inviting, front facing customer friendly demeanor!

I agree that google should not be used as a blackmail tool, but when an employee gets on google and diminishes the experiences by posting thier own review and i see none of the reviews have an online response at an attempt to reach out to those customers, i place more value on those negative reviews. Any person of reasonable common sense knows you cant please everyone. The best of businesses will have tattle tale reviews from people who just cant be reasoned with...but these have a common theme of poor communication and no response from the owner. Will not use this company...

They are not honest nor do they have integrity. Would never use this company. One of their trucks accidentally backed in to my yard and tore it up. I called them to repair it and they said they would look at it. They lied. I sent them pictures, was polite, but finally took the complaint to the BBB. They would not even respond to them!! So I am letting people know- they do not care!!

To start with HORRIBLE customer service. They delivered the equipment the WRONG DAY, and the lady on the phone thought that was acceptable. The equipment did NOT WORK properly and was not level so the commode LEAKED. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

Worse company to deal with, they refuse to sent invoices and dont pick up the porta-Johns and dumpsters when we told them.Customer service is the WORSE I HAVE EVER HAD the lady over the phone was being extremely rude and hung up the phone on me. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

If I could give a zero rating I would. I have called the office almost everyday for 13 days trying to get a full dumpster off my property. Everyday Im told that its on the schedule, the driver is in the area and itll be picked up today but yet I have a full 30 yard dumpster in my yard. The woman on the phone is RUDE and a liar. I told her that I had never ordered a dumpster so I wrote down all the info she gave me and the price was right, until it cost almost double what she explained to me. Then she played the you must have heard me wrong card. We were told today that we werent a priority so please dont hire this place. They are scammers and will end up costing you double the money, time and patience.

Which there was a no star option. Placed an order to receive a container, 2 days in advance, request to be called before delivery. Call on the promised day after 1 pm because no one had call or showed up, to find out they had no containers available. Dayana (customer rep) tried to explain they had no way to know in advance, but she didnt tell me tell it was not guaranteed when asking for the credit card information to place my order 2 days ago. I understand things can happen but wouldnt a call to let the client know be nice, or at least tell clients in advance is not guaranteed to have the container the day of the request. Very disappointed on the lack of commitment and costumer service.

We scheduled a dumpster to be dropped off weeks in advance with this company. We were told that we would be the very first delivery in the morning. By 11:00 am we called to find out where the dumpster was? We were told it should be here any minute, An hour later we called back. We were told the dumpster was on the truck and would be delivered by 1pm. Needless to say after six more phone calls the dumpster arrived at 5:30pm!!! We are now through with the dumpster and began calling on Monday 7/6 to have it picked up. We were told they would be out the next day. It is now four days later, the dumpster still sits in our driveway and every time we call we are given the run around.I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. We have received the WORST service I could imagine. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Ill have to agree with the previous post about the office staff.(Rude and very unhelpful) Every time we called Carolina Containers we were at square one We were required to remind them that we were a customer and where we had our porta pottys. I wouldnt use them again. I hate to give a bad review of any company as I understand the difficulty of the day to day trails of the construction world. The main reason I am posting this is to warn any other potential clients of my experience with Carolina Containers.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The office staff is rude and unknowable about the service they provided. I called 13 days ago to have the dumpster picked up and its still in my yard holding up my project. They were untruthful about everything from pricing to the amount of time they take to pick up and drop off. I have spent twice as much as I would have paid with another company. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I would not recommend using this company. The sales person that answered the phone was very helpful and pleasant and I was looking forward to smooth service. I ordered 3 portable toilets (2 regular and 1 handicapped) over a month in advance for an event on Halloween. I clarified that traffic was an issue and recommended a safe drop of time. When the expected arrival time came and went I called the company and of course they were closed. The phone message had an option for after hours emergency so I left a message. No one returned my call. The driver arrived with 2 of the toliets 1 1/2 hours after the event. We ended up opening our building, which we did not want to do and had to have it cleaned before the next morning. I never received a return call from my emergency message and never received the handicapped toliet or had any call to say why it didnt arrive. I did of course receive an invoice and charge on my credit card first thing the next morning for the 2 toliet rental - no mention of why the 3rd toliet hadnt arrived or why the other 2 were so late. I called the company immediately and again got the pleasant sales person from before. I explained what happened and said I wanted at least a 50% credit. She said she would speak to the manager and have them return my call. The pleasant sales person did NOT apologize at all on behalf of her company or mention why the driver was so late. I did NOT receive a call from the manager and called again a week later asking to speak again regarding this matter and did NOT receive a return call. It was too late at this point to stop payment as it had been a couple of weeks since our event so my only course of action was to leave this review so hopefully no one else has an event ruined by using this company.

Contracted for dumpster to be delivered on Friday, June 30th. for work to begin Saturday. Confirmed delivery on Friday and was told they were working on it. Workers arrived Saturday morning and there was no dumpster. After approximately 8 calls, received a return call asking us who called his office like a maniac the day before. Assume he was referring to the several frantic, strong calls this morning because there was no dumpster.There was no apology or explanation just an attempt to talk about the calls received. The fact of the matter is that this company did not perform as agreed and took no responsibility for their lack of performance and service.

Horrible. Just horrible. I have cancelled a weekly service because they average 10 days pulling a can after a call for service. What is worse is that they promise tomorrow every time we call.

HORRIBLE service, super unprofessional! Do not keep with their word. I’ve been calling for days to have the dumpster picked up and they tell me they didnt do service with me. Then when I do get them to answer they keep giving me a time to pick it up but never do. Rescheduled a time about 5 times, but no one shows up. Also they gave me a damaged dumpster!

Not a good experience. Over the past week or so, Ive been dealing with this company and the service has been dreadful.I think the firm is over-promising and cant deliver. I own a small business and understand...every call is a customer, which is revenue, but youre doing your customers a disservice. Below is my experience:• Got a 10 dumpster delivered. I told them to put it directly in front of the steps of the house. They didnt do it. Thats OK...fine, we made due and built custom walk boards to move debris to the dumpster.• Filled the dumpster and called to get a larger one for the next set of debris. I was quoted $350 for a 15 dumpster on Tuesday. This time, I drew out where the 15 dumpster should go and emailed the diagram to them.• On Wed, they delivered a smaller dumpster....in the wrong location. I called them and they said they would check on this and call me back. They didnt call back.• Next day...still no call. So I emailed them and asked what happened to the larger dumpster I ordered and why is it in the wrong place when I gave them a diagram. They emailed back a day later...We had no 15 dumpsters. They didnt answer why the one left was in the wrong location.• Next day (mind you...we still havent used the smaller dumpster)...I check my AMEX card and theyve charged $375 for the smaller dumpster...still no answer on why its in the wrong location.• So...this was it. Once again...Im sorry youre busy or have poor customer service or out of dumpsters or whatever, but the main issue is that youre not doing what you should be doing for your customers.Ive asked for the smaller dumpster to be removed and we will find a different vendor who can assist.Just not a good experience at all and this has pushed back our demo plans by a lot.Also, please note, the owners family (same unique last name) has added 5-star ratings to Google. Thats really not a good business practice, as well.I wish you the best and hope you do understand and fix your business issues.

What pros. I needed multiple containers for a community clean up that was starting on a Saturday. The lady on the phone had arranged for 4 dumpsters to be on site by the time the crews showed up Saturday morning. We finished on Sunday and all 4 cans were picked up on Monday. We will be using them again in the future. I would highly recommend them

We requested a dumpster on a Friday and were told no problem. When 4:00 pm rolled around we still had no dumpster. When I finally got through to someone I was told it would be there Saturday morning. Saturday and no dumpster. When I called Monday I was told by a very rude woman that we wernt charged, so I should get over it. I would avoid this unprofessional company.

Incredibly bad service. Dumpster was dropped in the driveway, not in the yard as they were directed. They delivered it a day late and did not pick it up after they were directed to do so. The office staff is the rudest Ive ever encountered. Dont know how they stay in business!

Took the dumpster without letting us know and we were not done. When I called they said, it was just sitting there ....what else does a dumpster do, but sit there and get filled up? Now they have been giving us the run around and we never got to fill it up; they actually had to move garbage out of the way to get the dumpster out. We are renovating a house and we knew we would need the dumpster for a while that is why we chose them in the first place. Was not what we agreed on. Just when my husband started his vacation to work on the house it was gone; when we needed it most. I have been trying to call.....unresponsive. They sure took our money quick enough though.

NO STARS... Worst Dumpster company in Charlotte. I cant speak for theyre other locations but I can speak for the CLT one. I am a contractor and keep a 30Cuyd Dumpster in my lay down yard for my guys to put trash in. CCS doesnt bring the dumpster when they say they will and they make putting the dumpster back in the same position the end of the world. Then just recently they started taking my full dumpster and not returning with a new one for weeks. I would have to call and call and when it did come it wouldnt even be my normal size. Theyre guys love to just place the dumpster wherever they want too. Forget about setting timeframes, guidelines, etc because it goes in the dispatchers ear and out the other. Then theyll tell you your dumpster didnt come because something was in the way even know I clearly told them they cant come after a certain time to dump it. Avoid the headache and dont use them.

Another post fom the owner..We do everything possible to maintain a positive work environment and forward that on to our customers. It is unfortunate that people use reviews as a blackmailing tool to threaten employees of our company. Is it right to tell us that if you dont get what you want when you want it that your first move is to go online and post a bad review. We have no control over things like traffic, or weather or a truck breaking down. Is it our fault that a contractor forgot to order a dumpster and now has a crew on site to do demo without a dumpster. So now its put on us to get there as fast as possible as if its our fault his guys are standing around waiting for a dumpster. In my opinion most negative reviews are an emotional reaction to a bad day at the office. All im asking is that you Please be aware of these things before trying to harm someones reputation

Orderd a dumpster and it was never delivered. When i called i was always told that it was being loaded. This company is a bunch of liars and this company shoyld not even be in buisness.

Budget dumpster was terrible. First of all they hit my car when backing the dumpster in and wasnt even going to tell me. Second they were supposed to call back to get this corrected, still havent. Third I paid for 2 extra days and they still picked it up 2 days early. No communication!!!
