From the moment they arrived, they were professional, accommodating, patient, and swift.They handled my furniture with care and were easy to work with. Even finished a half hour earlier than scheduled..I was very pleased.I had all my important furniture covered and sealed in shrink wrap.. provided straps to secure my load and lots of pillows to help cushion. We hired them for moving help and ended up with DAMAGES to our brand new bedroom furniture AND our glass table top for our dining table was not placed in a secure and padded spot so that was SHATTERED and BROKEN on the truck. I asked Cecil the worker to use the pads that I provided to protect my furniture BUT he DID NOT listen to my request and now we have damaged furniture. He or the company is not taking any true accountability for the damages and not replacing our table top or repairing the damages done to our furniture. ON TOP OF THAT, the two days we used them, one of the guys were late BOTH days. I am completely DISSATISFIED with the service and company.

The movers who moved our four-bedroom rental house into the first home weve ever owned were INCREDIBLE. The way they watched all the walls carefully, the way they softly put down boxes and furniture, it was so caring, as if they were moving into their own home. They were extremely efficient, very polite and so cautious with our breakables. We would hire them again in a heartbeat, and Ill be recommending their services to everyone I know. I’ve been a bit of a nomad and thankfully this move will be one of my last, so I feel confident in saying that is, by far, the best moving experience I’ve had. I’vehad horribly expensive and stressful moves that lasted long nights and were traumatizing… this was not one of them. In fact, it was amazing. Cecil and his colleagues were beyond professional, efficient, knowledgeable and kind. I know for a fact if I do need movers again, I will never trust any other company.

The young men who did our move were wonderful, and hard working… even under extreme working conditions. It was 100 degrees outside, and not only did they not complain, they took it in stride and laughed about it. One of them, Andre, was even part of our moving crew when we used your services last year. Andre, Nick and the other two fellas were very careful with our belongings, respectful, and I would recommend them highly!

Let me just say the staff from the over the phone customer service to the movers are awesome! This rating is in no way reflective of their hard work.However, the process in which they operate sets limitations on end to end customer satisfaction.My first move was booked based on information about the contents of the move in which I gave over the phone. (3bedroom home, loft, and items in the garage in which I considered a room by itself). It was recommended to be a 4 men 4 hour 26 foot truck move and I booked it accordingly.Well all items didn’t fit on the first move. I was very understanding and asked the lead mover what he recommended to move the remaining items. A 3 men 3 hour 20 foot truck was assessed by the lead who could visibly see what was left so I booked accordingly.So we get to the day of the second move and all items will not fit, really? It was suggested by the lead that my husband and i move the rest of the items in our minivan. Lord, guys please don’t do that again with anyone else , you don’t know what people’s medical or personal issues may be before you suggest that they finish a job you were expected to complete.Anyway the short answer is that there is no buffer in between bookings for the movers to make any adjustments to time or the number of trips it will take to complete your move. When your time is up it’s up and they have to immediately make it to the next back to back booking. I think this company would benefit from changing their process and have someone come out to do an assessment before they quote you a move. If someone needs a second move like in my case where an experienced person is there to visibly verify what is left then the company should own that assessment and make it right when things don’t go as expected.I know that was a lot, but it needed to be said. If this company would put some improvements in place they could definitely grow as it would improve customer retention.

Swift was very helpful and flexible, rescheduling my unload when I was delayed multiple times due to issues with my rental truck. Day off, they were professional and got the unload taken care of much faster than expected. Highly recommended.

Swift Service was wonderful to work with. They did both our packing and unloading. They were flexible with our hours and even got us an extra person when we realized we had way more stuff than we originally thought. I would absolutely hire them again!

I had no issues with scheduling. I called to adjust the start time and they were nothing but pleasant. Keith and Justin were PHENOMENAL. They arrived early, were very polite, careful with our things, and unbelievably efficient. They had everything done in just over an hour. They got the furniture down stairs admirably. Other than that, they were not great.Did a horrible job packing the truck. They threw everything in with no organization, scratching my furniture. They didnt fill to the top of the truck or do simple maneavuers such as putting drawers in the dresser to save room. The movers then left 15 minutes before time was up. When we called to complain the receptionist was rude and did not help rectify the situation at all. Could have fit in much more in the truck. Will not use again.

Made a reservation online and it was cancelled. Called to inquire and was told the options online are not what were available. Appointment was canceled after scheduled.The MAIN ISSUE with this company, however is the Incompetence and lack of training of the female (or lack there of) who answers the phone for sure has lost them much more of the business they are unaware they will never have. The female was loud, rude with no TACT or professionalism. If she’s the owner or apart of leadership, they need to invest in an actual CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. Find another moving company there’s millions around with the same abilities.

I have used this service a number of times both personally and professionally and have always found good service. However on June 30 I hired two men, because the previous days work did not get completed. One of the men arrived 15 minutes late, and from all accounts did not provide the standard of service we have come to expect. Disappointed. I will not be using this service again.

My roommate and I just moved here from VA and we knew nothing about movers down here. We scheduled them for 5:30. They came at 5:00. Wow. You just dont hear stuff like that when it comes to movers. They requested 2 hour minimum of moving time and they were done in less than 1.5 hours (1 hour and 15 min to be exact). All 3 men Quan, Keith, & Jay were all so nice and VERY respectful. We had great conversations and even some funny moments. They were sweating their butts off in the 90+ degree weather and STILL had a great attitude. I am highly impressed and HIGHLY recommend them to any and everyone in the Charlotte area. Black-owned, Black-operated AND professional, you can not beat that! PERIOD! Thank you all so much. I WILL BE CALLING YALL AGAIN WHEN I BUY A HOUSE!

I’ve used Swift Movers on a few occasions, so when my niece needed help moving, I knew who to call! Andre and Cecil showed up on time, called upon arrival, then absolutely amazed my niece and her son with their skill, speed and respect for their belongings. Everything with this company (from the scheduler to the movers to the ease of payment) is top notch.

I hired this company to load a truck on 12/2/2020. The movers arrived on time which was at 6pm. I did not realized I had scheduled them the same time I scheduled to pick up the truck. Which means they started about 15 minutes late. When I arrived to the apartment the movers never introduced themselves nor did they tell me what company they were working for, and the only way they knew who I was because they were standing outside when I pulled up in the truck, they never asked who I was. The movers quickly got started once I arrived but instead of the movers letting me know everything was not going to fit on the truck and ask me what items I really would like to have loaded they took it upon themselves to load all boxes and both queen beds. Once they got done they closed the door down on the moving truck and left without saying anything to my son or myself which was very unprofessional, not only was it unprofessional to leave without saying anything to the customer they also missed out on a $50 each tip that was going to be given at the end of the job had it been done correctly. Once we realized the movers left my son and I both went out to the truck and opened the door to only find out had the movers packed the truck correctly they could have fit way more items on the truck. It was much more space on there that could have been used if the truck was packed right. Due to seeing this my son and I both started unpacking half of the truck and repacked it the correct way (this should never happen when you pay a company to do this). Had my service been good, I was also going to schedule this company to come back out on Friday to unload the truck but due to my experience with the movers on 12/2 I refused to give them another $124 just to be treated the way I was on the previous job. Instead I hired another company which they had done a great job. Not a happy customer of Swift Service Men.

The customer service is top notch - movers were decent. They moved extremely slow... and didn’t ‘pack’ the uhaul. They did well with boxes, but the furniture easy placed in the uhaul without intention and thought of getting everything in. I would recommend using a different service.

Our movers arrived right on time and loaded the boxes and furniture (1BR) into our truck in about 20 minutes -- so quick and efficient -- which left plenty of time for us to drive to our building and unload into our apartment. They made it look easy, especially the heavy, bulky items. Plus, they were very personable and kind. Thank you Marcus and Cecil and Swift Service Men. Highly recommend this company!

They asked lots of questions to make sure they place items in my home where I needed them to. They responded to my requests with professionalism. They asked which room to put my items in and they handled everything with care. 10/10 recommend them for your next move. Prices were extremely reasonable compared to others that I saw.

A friend referred this company to me for 3 pieces of bulk furniture to move. I easily made a reservation and paid online — I was thrilled I could schedule next day service. I had no trouble reaching a rep by phone when I had a question. I appreciated the email confirmation and phone verification the movers were en route. I relocated and needed to find movers to unload my items once I moved to Charlotte. I found this company through a google search for movers in Charlotte. They arrived on time. I thought it was going to be a tough job but they made it look easy. They unloaded a completely packed 15 foot uhaul truck and took the items to the 3rd floor in an hour and 15 minutes. They were professional and respectful. I will definitely be using this company again for any other future local moves.

I was truly set to give this company a 5 start rating.....until the end. I had hired Swift Service Men (3 men for two hours) to move already packed boxes and furniture from a 2 BR apartment. The men showed up on time and promptly went to work. The move was separated into three groups of items since, on the back end, we had to unpack the truck to three different storage areas. They worked diligently from 09:00 - 11:00. At 11:00, one of the men came and said that they had to leave, they had another job. What?!?!?! They still had more items to move that would have taken them just another 15-20 minutes to pack up. How can they leave just like that??? I had no problem paying the extra time that it would take to finish completely. I even had $100 set aside to tip them at the end...which of course they did NOT get. At no time, did anyone say that they had a hard stop time at 11:00. If I had known this, I would have helped them move the boxes so they could meet the deadline. They never said a word...until it was time to leave. SMH!

Both movers did such a great job and were pleasant, on time, and efficient. We especially appreciate that they helped us when our Uhaul truck door got jammed—which they didn’t have to do—in the cold, pouring rain. Would use again!

Ive never hired a moving company to assist in a move before but this company made the process super simple! They arrived a couple of minutes early and were kind a professional throughout the entire move (even when I got them lost in the storage facility). I definitely recommend this company to anyone moving in the Charlotte area!
