Five stars for protecting a woman from a kidnapper. THIS is why martial arts are vital and improve lives and communities. The results [see: stretcher and hospital for the criminal] speak for themselves. Well done, Sensei Ephraim!

Sensei,From time to time someone does something that makes me hopeful about humanity. Today, you are that person. Please accept my respect and admiration for you sir.If this moment of real-life response causes your classes to overflow, it will be worthy compensation for your actions and example.

Sensei Ephraim is a seasoned full contact fighter. He is also the most humble person you will ever meet. All the instructors are great! They have classes for all ages and mixed classes too. Every class brings the top notch training one can expect from a direct student of S.Oyama. Weapons training, Bag training, Kata and more. The atmosphere at the Dojo is like being with your friends and family.

Head instructor Randall Ephraim, center, fought off the suspect(CNN)A man tries to kidnap a woman by forcing her into his car, in north Charlotte. She breaks free, and runs into a nearby karate studio pleading for help. You can already see how this ends: with the suspect being carried out on a stretcher after a fight with a karate head instructor. The incident happened at 9 pm Thursday outside Bushiken Karate Charlotte Dojo, according to CNN affiliate WSOC and the head instructor, Randall Ephraim.Ephraim told CNN he was straightening up the dojo, the karate studio, when the woman rushed inside:There were still some kids in the dojo being picked up by parents and a couple of adult students cleaning up when a young lady came through our doors and stated that someone was trying to harm her, he told CNN.Shortly afterward, a big male entered the building, he said. Not knowing what he wanted, I assumed he was inquiring about classes.I asked how I could assist him and he stated that he was there for the lady. She insisted that she did not know him and tried to kidnap her.
