I have been cominghere for some time and I am very happy with the results, Jasmin Aguilar is very helpfull she always do my treatments.

I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal, the staff was very honest about upgrade pricing since the beginning. I have not felt obligated to purchase additional packages to date and I am still receiving my Groupon purchased package service. Today I worked with Sam, she was very professional and answered all the questions I had. I was in and out in about 20 minutes and there is lots of parking available at this location. In my opinion, they deserve 5 stars.

All the girls were friendly and very knowledgeable about which treatment plan would give the results I wanted. Heather was super nice to suggest options that I wasn’t familiar with and I love the outcome.

My mother is currently a patient here. She is very unsatisfied with the services she has received. She states that majority of the employees were discriminating against her, except for Jasmine. Jasmine was very friendly and understanding. My mother also states that they are very unprofessional with their nonverbal communication. Unfortunately, at this point she can no longer get a refund. Once treatment is over, she will not return to this facility or company.

The staff is knowledgeable & friendly. The rooms are way to bright, cold no ambiance. Like a hospital feel. It would be nice to have a little spa feel. I feel my results are not working as much as I thought. My confidence level is not high. I have been going about 2 months.

Nice people, but they will treat you horribly if you use Groupon. I Have two more sessions that are paid for but I’m not going back, they can keep it! Good luck my friends!

Would never recommend this place to anyone. Would give zero stars if it weren’t for Jasmine. Went here initially to buy a laser hair removal package for my face. I had already had 6 laser removal treatments on my face from a different company prior to and it worked out pretty well for me unfortunately I cannot say the same with LightRx. The first 6 laser treatments with Complete Laser clinic got rid of 50% of my facial hair. At LightRx I had little no improvement on facial hair growth even after my 9th treatment with them. Even after I already have had 6 treatments they could not get rid of the remaining 50% of my facial hair. I have one more appointment with them and after paying 1,1000 for 10 láser removal treatments and them not working I will not be going back for my last session. I have found a spa in Gastonia that has better and more effective lasers for me and was able to get rid of the remaining 30% of hair that LightRx failed to remove. And it only took them ONE session. If I could turn back time I would not give this company not one cent. Also I want to point out that when I bought my laser package I paired a Venus viva package with it that promised to give my smooth flawless skin and get rid of Lots of things. Guess what it did.. NOTHING. Except for give me a scab for a week then give me glowy skin for 5 days. Not worth the 1000 I paid for it. So in total I paid over 2k for lasers at this place and was left extremely disappointed and dissatisfied and out of 2k.In between treatments my mother bought a laser Lipo package from them for a very steep price which did absolutely nothing. There was no weight loss or shaping done.If you are someone looking for laser services I do recommended you steer far away from this place. There’s better options around or if you don’t mind the drive M E D I C A L S P A in Gastonia knows what they are doing. Their staff is very knowledgeable and straightforward. After going to many places for laser services I’m glad I was able to find someone in my hometown that is able to provide for all my aesthetic needs at very affordable prices and effective quality.

I say poor quality because the service I purchased on Groupon (Laser Lipo) was advertised to “kickstart weight loss” however from the moment I arrived in the office to begin treatment, they made it very clear that this service can only work if I exercise (sweat) for 30 minutes after each treatment, exercise every day, eat a healthy diet with no fatty foods, eliminate all caffeine & alcohol from my diet, & drink a ton of water all day every day. And if I don’t follow this protocol, laser lipo is ineffective, because it all depends on me. Then they try to upsell you with their $3500 Bliss treatment, which they explain “kills the fat cells forever“ so there is no protocol you need to follow. So basically, they made me feel like I just wasted money on laser lipo because chances are it won’t work because let’s face it, how can you follow those stipulations perfectly every day forever? Each time I was there they’d push the Bliss package, trying to entice me with a “promotion that ends tomorrow“ deal that would save me $200 if I acted now. The constant upselling was annoying. Turns out the laser lipo did NOT work, just as they had predicted. Too bad they don’t explain all this in the misleading advertising BEFORE you buy the Groupon.Something I found strange was on my first day, measurements where taken, but on my last day, no measurements where taken. What’s the point of the initial measurements if they don’t compare them to anything?People need to know that if you are late or don’t show, they charge a $50 fee & if you try to call to let them know you will be late, you get a recorded message that says hang up & text us, which is hard to do while driving. Basically, they rarely answer the phone.Some GOOD points: Everyone is courteous & friendly. The place is immaculate clean. They disinfect the equipment after each client. Mattie, one of their employees, is their GREATEST asset. She went above & beyond to treat me like I mattered.

I called to get pricing for 3 Venus bliss treatments. I had pricing from two other places and needed to know the best price, because I have to travel to each location well over an hour. The lady who answered the phone wanted to play games and say we are the cheapest but would not tell me without me coming in for a consultation. Very weird and unprofessional.

LightRx of Charlotte is the best warm welcoming spot I have ever been to in Charlotte NC-for restorative touchups. I truly respect the entirety of the staff everybody is continually grinning thus decent. Demonstrable skill goes far and professionalism is a tact. Cheryl the Clinic Director is the most perfect she caused me to feel extremely excellent and sure about my own skin when at times I sense that I am not as lovely as everybody says. She made me feel beautiful and confident while guaranteeing me that the work I planned to complete would change the manner in which I feel and she was 100% accurate! I feel so much better about the age lines being gone and I have my delightful shine back! You cant turn out badly with picking this center if your hoping to have a couple of restorative final details. The medical attendants are very helpful and fun to talk to as well as the lovely Nurse Mrs.Kim who does all infusions and she is totally superb too, delicate with her hands and takes as much time as is needed ensuring that the entirety of the work is done cautiously and completely accurate. She has the best character and is stunning. She will help you feel comfortable and relaxed prior to anything even starting. I could continue endlessly with praising how well this center has treated me. I am certain all organizations are never 100% percent however this one with regards to this line of business as I would like to think coordinates the Top Score. Check them out I guarantee you wont be frustrated or disappointed!

They say you have to do two sessions a week to really see results, but you never have availability, barely once a week. And once I started the sessions they said they had other treatments that would work better and youre in luck, we have an offer right now, so what they are rrally trying to do is sell you other packages

Staff was very friendly and informative. There were a couple of times another technician would enter the room while I was being serviced or my technician would leave the room , but I was OK with it. I think if that hadnt occurred it would take it up a notch for 5 stars. Still not a bad experience and it works.

This is a nice place in a nice location. The staff was nice and accommodating. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because you dont have the same technician throughout your treatment plan. It would be best to have the same person so they are familiar with treating your concerns.

A complete waste of money and time. The whole thing is a scam. They really push dieting and exercise but when all is said and done the only difference is from the diet and exercise and absolutely no results from their treatments. I know what I lose from diet and exercise, I expected when combined with LightRx I meant see a difference. None, exactly the same results I can get without them. Ive done a lot of research on the treatment and it says your treatments should be about 1 hour per session depending on the body part. At lightRx you are in and out in less than 30 minutes. They will try to up-sell you from day one, dont do it. You are throwing your money away. The area they treated showed no difference at all.

My cousin and I have moved in 2019. Told them might not be able to come back. Fast forward i have been trying to contact for refund, spoke to manager sporadically. They dont return phone calls. Very unprofessional. Was told in last conversation missed check for March. Here it is middle of April, and no response...several voicemail messages later.

Laser hair removal:The website advertise that you only need 8 treatments per area, if not happy they give you 2 extra treatments free of charge and than the lifetime warranty on the treated area with a 90% discount if further treatments are ever needed.I previously bought 3 treatments and was planning to buy the remaining 5. The girl told me that I needed to buy a full pack of 10 to get the lifetime warranty, after going back and forth with her I decided to pay for 7 more treatments since she kept looking at her papers and she looked to be sure on what she was talking about.It kept bothering me so I checked the website and I WAS RIGHT! I even took a screenshot to make sure I can prove that’s what your company promises!Why was I pushed into buying the 2 extra treatments that are supposed to be free? Why is it that your employees not know about your company lifetime promise? I will definitely want to speak to someone in corporate about this because it’s poor business to push for sales without even knowing what your company policies are!

The staff are friendly and professional. I showed up early for my appointment and they got me in and out quickly. The person working with me assisted with paperwork, answered all of my questions, and explained the entire process. Will definitely be going back for other services!

This place is a big scam. From your first visit they are constantly trying to get you to buy other packages to allegedly help you. You cant even enjoy the visit without having all sorts of procedures trying to be sold to you. Dont bother using their app to scan your visits. Its all a trap to try to get you to buy a membership and the free facial is not worth it. If you buy a package the number of visits is not enough and they will push you to buy more treatments at a heftier price. My last vist I was continually being upsold on procedures I had no interest in and didnt even get my results and measurements. I would had been better off with a personal trainer.

I really don’t like giving reviews unless I can give a high grade but Unfortunately it has to be done in order for improvement and customers can get the good and bad opinions.Customer service and the technician are absolutely great, Cheryl is amazing as well! Always pleasant and informative. The facility was always clean and they followed CDC Covid guidelines definitely a plus.As far as the procedures for me they were a waste of money and time. 10 treatments mean you have to go there 10 times. As far as the price I’d recommend you go have Lipo and save you some time and money. It’s just not worth it!

I was charged for a service that I never received in January. Just a few weeks later, I notified the manager that I was relocating and would need a refund. She told me that it would be 60-days until the refund would reflect on my account. It is now 8 months later and I still have not received the refund. I have contacted this location via phone and email multiple times and have yet to receive clarification. I have also contacted LightRX corporate office and never heard back. They are IMPOSSIBLE to work with. Would highly recommend using ANY other provider to have laser work done.

Staff was super friendly but always recommended a better service (much more expensive) than what I purchased. However, when I went in for my consultation, I was told the Groupon that I purchased was a fantastic service and would help with my tummy area. I went in for 8 sessions (and followed all protocol) and had ZERO results. LightRx did not have any comment other than to purchase the better treatment plan. I thought I would receive a call from the manager with an explanation of why I received no results but that didnt happen either. I do not recommend this facility.

I am 55 years old. In my life I keep very hight expectations for any type of customer service. I started two treatments with LightRx . It is my first experience with them. They took the time to explain everything with detail. They were prompt to respond any question or concern. My first session was very good despite I was very nervous. I will definitively post comments after I finish both treatments.

The staff and management are always helpful and friendly. I have been going since December 2019 and can see great results. I recommend them highly. Be realistic in your goals and follow the directions and you will se results also.

Fantastic experience - great laser and very nice tech. The laser was not nearly as painful as I have experienced at other places. Highly recommend! Extremely clean and located conveniently in SouthPark.

Unfortunately my experience has not been the best with this facility. There have been way too many appointment scheduling issues on their part. I have been cancelled twice and then they were not able to accommodate me in a timely fashion. Then they scheduled me for 11:30 and couldn’t take me till 12:10 and said thats all we have take or leave it after I drove 40 minutes to get there. Another appointment mistake they made and had me sit there without really any apology like it was my fault that I showed up on time. There are not enough appointments to choose from. If you can’t provide a customer with more than 1 choice then you are having either staffing issues or over booking treatments that you can not provide clients with. I can’t wait till my sessions are over. Just FYI they will reel you in with great pricing but good luck getting an appointment!!!! Also once I was done with my sessions no one even asked or checked to see how my results were. I was finished with the last session and no one followed up with me. Results were not positive I did the Venace legacy which was suppose to give me amazing results according to the manager. That was not the case at all on a scale of 1-10 results wise a 4 (thigh area) and 0 (knee area) waste of money and time

My experience at LightRx was mediocre. The lighting in the treatment room was too bright and no soft music playing. The atmosphere in treatment rooms is important to relaxing the client. These are just small items which can affect the client experience. They appeared to not really tell you until you had started the program.that the treatments alone would only result in a minor change to your waist size. Exercise and diet would need to play a major role. When I finished my last treatment appointment the personnel did not review my treatment results. I just walked out the door and that was the end. No end consultation. All of these negative review points could have been the result of the clinic being overwhelmed by the major increase in customers joining via the Groupon coupon. They were not prepared for the volume of customers therefore personal service declined.

She was very nice and most important answered all my questions about my upcoming procedure and more. Now that Ive just forfeited the rest of my services here I can finally post my review. You get what you pay for here. Their machines are no where near as powerful as those at other places Ive been to (elsewhere 1 IPL service or 1 laser hair service, produces results. Here, not at all). Biggest issue for me was really poor customer experience. For example, post laser treatment (full bikini) you are left on a table covered in cold goop and must book your next appointment before being allowed to clean up or get dressed. Noted by the tech as thats the policy. Give people some friggin dignity!!! All my other experiences with laser treatments have been at spa, as more expensive, yes, but -- buyer beware -- you get what you pay for here.

I am basing this review on the current staff at the Light RX in Charlotte, NC.When I first began treatments, there was an entirely different staff that were only there a short while. The present staff, Kimberly, Whitney, and Ashley are all fantastic. They are very nice and also very professional. They are also very knowledgeable about the treatments and do a great job explaining the treatments to the clients. They provide a very welcoming environment and genuinely care about theirclients.I really hope that the company realizes and appreciates what a great job Kimberly, Whitney, and Ashley are doing. They all came into a messy situation but have pulled this location together and have made it great.I hope the company doesnt make any more changes because if they do, I will probably go somewhere else. There needs to be consistency for the sake of the clients

I should have read the reviews prior to purchasing a package. They have no regard for you or your time. You cant be 5 minutes late because they wont see you. I was there 6 minutes late and they wouldnt see me. She spent more time telling me why they wouldnt see me than if they would have done the laser treatment. My laser treatment is for a small area, it could be done in 3 minutes. I waited to see when the next customer came in and they were late as well. So bottom line, no customer service. They are there just for the money. Oh and after 4 treatments I have not seen any improvement at all.

I concur with Amanda, any discrepancy about not having appointments, or what they call “keys” for the machine. You DO NOT GET A REFUND! And when you contact corporate they give you the run round and LIES AND MOST OF ALL ...BEING DISRESPECTED BY THE STORE MANAGER, KIM! Ashley and Bethany were AWESOME 😎 AND A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. No results from series of IPL treatments. At the dermatology office, one treatment is all I ever need. They also do not use numbing cream here, like in a medical office. I can only conclude they aren’t using the same strength or quality of treatment. Total waste of money.

This Does Not Work. I purchased the package for tightening upper arm skin. After treatments were completed there was no difference at all!!!! I didn’t expect a miracle but after spending that amount a bit of noticeable difference was expected, especially after being told numerous times it would happen.

When you call it’s a call center that won’t provide pricing even when you mention Groupon. Then you get to the office and their prices are double of anyone else in town. Don’t get lured by the 75% off it’s a scam!!!!

Great for 1 service, but horrible with packages. I purchased venus legacy (about 8 treatments/sessions) to tighten and heat body sculpting (about 8 services)/sessions) to lose fat, however there are never appointments available (booked up) to use your package or full # of services. I havent received ALL my treatments, but they wont issue me a refund for UNUSED services, although they offer pricing for individual services/sessions. Ashley was great and THE ONLY REASON I tried to stick with it, but the old manager Kim was HORRIBLE. This was the biggest waste of $3600 that Ive ever spent. My advice would be to pay as you go, and purchase services as you get them because THEY WILL NOT give you your money back, if you dont.

Totally different amount of time if you use a Groupon versus what you would get if you just walked in. What they told me was longer sessions than I got. Their Groupon is a scam. The value was just not there and after multiple sessions I saw zero difference.

Was not able to complete all 10 treatment, paid for all sessions up front and was not reimbursed for 3 sessions that could not be completed due to covid. Treatments must be completed week over week.

I have to disagree with the last post by Eduyr Estrano. I was there for my appointment when she came in and the hatefulness and rudeness she showed to the staff was disgusting. She was clearly in the wrong and came in 15 min late for her appointment, yet screamed at the top of her lungs demanding to be seen. Ive never seen behavior like that. I observed the staff trying to be accomdating with her but she was acting like a child not getting her way and stormed out. Staff handled this client very professionally. This lady seemed far too demanding out of touch and ready to blame her being late on the staff because of traffic. Kudos to staff for trying to diffuse the situation and get the lady taken care of, she just wanted to scream and berate them. This lady was in the wrong and when she threatened to leave a bad review, I had to make sure the truth was corrected.Ive never had a single bad experience, but sure feel bad the staff was treated terribly.Shes not anyone Id want as a client.

I originally went to LightRx to inquire about a solution for facial scarring caused by acne in my youth. After being consulted, I was very confident in the staff and their knowledge of my situation. I decided to purchase a package and saw result after only one treatment (photo shown is one session)! I cant wait to finish my package and see how great it looks at the end!

First I want to say that the employees are very friendly, kind and always willing to help in your goals. Second the program works. When I first went there my self esteem was low. My husband and I starting seeing change after first session. I lost 10 pounds in ten weeks. I look at myself in the mirror and feel real good about myself. Thank you lightrx for also teaching me how to eat and from someone who never drank water to now only drinking 64-72 oz of water everyday. See you in March again for some more sessions.

No service ever rendered despite trying to make appointments many times (appointment rescheduled many times - multiple reasons for this provided by LightRX including overbooking, construction, etc.). Was promised a refund that was never given. Filed complaint with BBB. Only got my money back after filing a dispute with my credit card company. Was fortunate that I paid with a credit card. Google LightRX better business bureau or similar search for more information.

Great experience and very knowledgeable @ procedures. The personnel are so great!

Please AVOID THIS BUSINESS the company is a SCAM and has gone BANKRUPT!!!! Long story short my face was severely burnt during laser hair removal( july 2018). I requested a refund and was informed it would the process takes 4 to 6 weeks. I am yet to receive a call email nor REFUND. I filed a complaint with the BBB and I was told to also file a complaint with the Attorneys General Office. PLEASE AVOID!!!April 10 2019After MONTHS of reaching out to multiple people on different levels at Lightrx I recieve a response on a negative review!! I was told Id be refunded in 4 to 6 weeks based on lightrx policy. I have not received a refund and will continue forward with case.

So far I havent had my first appointment, yet, but the conversations with staff leading up to the date has been pretty chill. Not to mention the price in comparison to ideal image is by far a steal. My only hiccup is that I originally live in Atlanta and it would be nice if I didnt have to travel to Charlotte to get treatment. Im hoping its well worth the gas and miles that Ill be putting on my car. Knowing two people who had great results with LightRX makes me feel a bit more at ease. Heres hoping it works for me too. Ill repost anew after my sessions
