Dave has always been a great help. This is a well-run location. Machines are well-maintained and I have never seen a piece of equipment in a broken state here. It def gets a bit crowded at rush hour, but that is par for the course in Charlotte these days. Staff has always been super friendly in resolving issues and always made me feel welcome.

Staff is really passionate about their business and their patrons. I had some potential issues from a previous AF location and they were ready to go to get it straightened out. The place is compact but hasnt felt too crowded when Ive been and theres plenty of equipment to go around. Overall a great place to lift and train!

This is a great place to work out on your own or with one of their personal trainers. The owner David, is a nice and freindly guy that will help you with your questions. This is not a large gym but it is packed with the equipment you need. This is a great value for your buck.

These guys know how to run a 24 hour gym. Best game in town for this segment. They have top of the line equipment, superior training programs, and David treats every customer like family. I feel like I could run through a wall when I leave that place.

I’ve been to a number of different commercial gyms over the years and this specific anytime fitness has been leaps and bounds above the rest. Everyone at this gym is extremely friendly and I’ve made a number of friends during my time at the gym. The owner, David, fosters a vibrant workout environment through great music and his contagious and constant high energy. I never took advantage of private training, but I would regularly see David give top notch training and I recommend him to anyone looking for a nudge in the right direction.

Stay away from this location. During the pandemic they stated they were suspending operations and not charging monthly fees. Then months later I see an uncollected debt on my credit report and had to pay $200 to clear it off. No one ever contacted me about anything.

Singed a 6 month contract, once the 6 months were up I contacted the manger of the gym asking if I had to do anything to cancel my membership. Since then me and my girlfriend have been charged 3 times since not using anytime fitness, every time we contact someone they say they’ll cancel it and we still get charged. Anytime fitness and charged us over 200$ each for a membership we don’t use and were told would end after 6 months. If you value your money and respect, I highly don’t recommend anytime fitness.

First ever gym I was ever a member of and the experience will truly be hard to beat! Staff is amazing - David does a great job of getting to know each of his members and providing excellent service to them. Super clean environment as well!

The manager Dave, is very professional and caters to his members needs, which is lovely especially in this day in age. A clean gym with all of the equipment you could ask for. By far the best gym in Charlotte!

David Takes is there constantly, Re-arranging the weights, keeping it clean. And the very Beautiful Anna is an added Plus, shes very knowledgeable and can provide good advice. They also didnt let Covid screw up their business which as a Gym Guy it helped me through some hard times.

Just joined this gym and love it. Everyone in here is here to workout... no one is sitting around on the cellphones or just sitting on equipment looking around. Very clean; and during this quarantine gave people a chance to feel normal again. Highly recommend

Awesome club, awesome manager. Visited from out of town and left my AirPods behind in the cubbies. They sent them back to me on their dime. Plus just an overall great AF.

This gym provides the safest, most fun, inclusive atmosphere. I have tried all of the big names out there, and Dave’s club in South End tops them all. It’s clean on every visit, you never have to fight for a machine, and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like part of the family immediately when I joined. I recommend to everyone in Charlotte!

For me, on a 1 to 5 scale this gym gets a 6. It is always spotless. I have never seen a gym where the equipment as well as the overall facility is as clean as Anytime on South Boulevard. I think this is in large part because the owner, David, is there most every day. This business is obviously a labor of love for him. The other fellow who works here, Anthony, is friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. There may be a reason for somebody to give this place at 4 store rating ( though I cant imagine why). However, if you see a 1 2 or 3 my two cents worth would be theres something wrong with the reviewer, not the facility. I am on a fixed income. I cannot begin to afford personal training. Yet David, the owner, was more than happy to set me up with a program. Good luck getting that kind of service at Golds or Fitness Connection!

Great gym - The owner is awesome!

Currently using the gym and they really need to turn the music down. Currently three people in the gym, all of us with headphones, and I can’t hear my audio book because of how excruciatingly loud the music is. Everything else is fine, a bit crammed and I recommend coming at night when it isn’t too busy.

Im still within the first 30 days of my first month being a member but the owner here is very understanding and lets me use this location to work out even though i signed up somewhere else. The gym is very clean and laid out in a sensible manner. Good amount/variety of equipment and space. Would definitely recommend. Thank you David.

Awesome gym! 24 hour access and the manager is also the owner and does everything he can to make sure you have a good experience at his gym. Not too crowded and perfect for the people like my wife and I who couldnt make it to the gym until 11pm when other gyms are closing!

I’ve been going to anytime fitness for a little over a year now and would definitely recommend, the facility is always clean and never overcrowded. Dave the owner is as nice as they come and you can tell he really values the people that come to his gym.

Ive only been once but I will definitely be visiting again. From the atmosphere down to the trainer (only met one) was amazing. Plenty of room for cardio and bodyweight exercises, which I absolutely love. Anytime Fitness is definite must try if your looking for a gym. Thanks guys. See you soon! Miles

I usually don’t leave reviews but my experience was so great that I felt I needed to share with others. So I recently moved to Charlotte and the closest location to me is in Huntersville (which is okay but lack people interaction. Since I have started in February nobody has ever talked or welcomed me). So today I was in the South End and decided to work out for a bit and I’m so glad I did. The gym is extremely clean and I love how the equipment is set up. The location is great! Super convenient to shops, uptown and the train. On top of that management and staff are exceptional. I looked lost looking for the WiFi password and someone from the staff quickly pointed me to the right direction. Also, before leaving the manager came in to briefly talk to me and I loved the care and passion he demonstrated in a quick interaction. I truly wish I was closer to the South End to have this location be my primary gym. I have been to 3 locations in the Charlotte area and by far this is the best Anytime Fitness I have been to. Keep up the amazing work guys 💪🏻

Spacious and clean, with like new equipment. I did find the dumbbell selection lacking though. I only saw one pair per each 5 lb. of graduation so I had to keep an eye on other lifters until the weight I wanted was available.The staff was courteous and helped me connect my entry fob to the the Android app. (I couldnt read the serial # due to wear).

Best gym in Charlotte. David, Anthony, and Emily are awesome people, the place is always clean and neat, they have the stations that I need (and that most other gyms lack) for my lifts. All that, and being able to go in any time is extremely convenient. This gym has allowed me to maintain a consistent morning routine now ever since I first joined. Definitely worth a look.

First time I’ve ever worked out at an anytime fitness gym and im highly satisfied. Everyone of the employees were welcoming, clean place, enough equipment. Also owner is extremely nice! I highly recommend this place if anyone is looking at signing up at a gym!

Worst Anytime Fitness in the country, DO NOT GO HERE! Anytime fitness franchises can steal from other Anytime fitness gyms, I came here to work temporarily and they moved my subscription under them. Ive been trying to cancel my membership for 6 months now and they continue to STEAL from me. Dont let them steal from you. Move out and away from this Anytime Fitness immediately.

Anytime Fitness is a great place to get a workout in. The staff there is awesome and anyone who is looking for a great gym, with all the right equipment, at a price that will not break the bank, it is Anytime. David is a great owner and I expect great success from this location. The gym is always in tip top shape in terms of cleanliness and organization. I highly recommend Anytime.

I’ve been going here since they first opened. When I first moved to the west side there was only planet which had nothing functional........ The owner takes a lot of pride in his gym. And he keeps it clean (AMEN)! Also. He’s added a lot of function equipment which I personally love (boxes, bands, balls, all that good stuff). It is a smaller gym but they made good use of the small space. My only complaint is that they do not have a regular stationary exercise bike, they only have a recumbent bike. Still love it.

Its a nice little gym. I dont care for classes, I dont need a personal trainer. Just a clean place to work out. You get what you pay for. There are no ads on the piped in music thats a plus for me. Good spot to start my day. Its a little pricey in comparison to some gyms, but worth it IMO.

The gym is fantastic. Theres enough equipment to get a workout without having to wait more than a few minutes (if at all). The owner is extremely kind and works hard to ensure that everyone has a great experience. I would absolutely recommend joining this Anytime Fitness location.

Great Gym,has the latest equipment,the manager is also the owner, and he is awesome,the location is convenient to downtown,light rail available for transportation needs.,entrance to facility is quick no standing in line,they even have a personal trainer on site.
