The driver was nearly 90 minutes later than the end time I was given. I was given 11-1 pm and he didn’t arrive until 2:30. I traveled 30 minutes to get to the p/u site. And had no recourse but to sit and wait. It was not driver’s fault. He was over scheduled & did best he could. Very professional. The call center staff perhaps need better understanding of proper time allotments.

I had been looking around for an environmentally friendly way to dispose of my mattress and was pleased to find this place. I called to ask questions about their mattress disposal process and was told that they recycle as much of the mattress as possible - including memory foam. Within 24 hours I was able to schedule an appointment and have my mattress picked up. The 3 gentlemen who performed the yard waste removal were total professionals. They very efficiently got everything removed and loaded onto the truck in the rain. When they finished they asked me to inspect the yard and one gentleman offered my his arm so I would not slip on the wet slippery ground.I am very pleased with their work and I will be contacting Junk King in the future as I will be clearing more yard waste in the coming weeks. They removed a big, upright, antique piano. I’m not sure if this is typical for them, but the turnaround was unbelievably fast: I called at 9:45 am and the piano was gone by 11:10 am same day. It was as quick and painless as could be. Very efficient. Reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

My appointment was set for 2pm they called and asked could they come early. Which was awesome!!! They were fast and very professional, also affordable. If I ever need furniture removed again I will be booking !!!

I scheduled for the afternoon because I was at work in the morning. The appointment was confirmed for between 2-4pm.The company did notgive me an estimate ofcost although I asked and listwd all that was to be picked up. They said they would tell me at the appointment. I was at work and did not have my phone with me in the morning. They went to my house at 9 am and wokeupmy husband-who was not feelimg weel and did not make the appointmemt and therefore dis not know what to do. Results: they took the trash and charged 300$. Very poor way to cimmunicate. If you cannot get a hold of your client then do not change the appointment at thelast moment and just show up. And charge-without having ever given an estimate first-to the person who called you to hire you!! I do NOT recommemd this company.

I used this service in April, and it was a horrid experience! If youre a woman, and youre single, or your man isnt around, wait until you can get a man around when they come, because women get taken advantage of price-wise (especially if youre African-American). I decided to use them to show support for the African-American community, but my family from deep south was right, if you want something done right go to the blah blah blah, but I ignored that advice and decided to pay them my funds.I requested for a sectional to be removed on the second floor of my apartment building. When they came knocking, they had bad attituteds, they barely spoke, and I had to speak to them in order for them to speak back, which was very unprofessional.The only person that was decent was the dark-skinned guy that handles the card transaction with the earphones in his ear, and I think he has short twists/plaits, or dreads, either way, he was the only nice person. The other guys acted as if they didnt want to be there, and they kept stepping out to talk amongst themselves barely talking to me (because Im a woman I guess), and came back in with a sky-rocketed price.One of the men whom barely spoke, went back down stairs, and stood by the truck...I guess to be even more anti-social. Either way, the whole situation was uncomfy.I WISHED theyd quoted me online like other people in these reviews, but they didnt before they came...I couldve declined the service before they came to my house. Because it was last minute, I paid $268.00 for them to remove one two-piece sectional to their truck. I had cash from the ATM to give them a tip, but with that price I just couldnt bring myself to do it, because it was over-expensive, and felt as if I was being taken advantage of, like some of the reviews from previous women on here that I ignored.I couldve gotten ALOT of items, more than just a two-piece sectional moved for that price with a moving company, but I know better next time. Where Im from, men dont take advantage of women like that, and will even go easy, but thats the price I pay for moving from the deep south to the southEAST.Word of advice: just use Two Men and a Truck, or another moving service because you can get alot of items taken care of with that price. I had movers come by a few days earlier, and I couldve asked them to take it, but I wanted to donate it...I tipped my movers very well because they were respectable when they pulled up in my subdivision after moving out of an apartment, unlike the Junk King guys.I wished I knew what I know now.

Even when I contacted them via email to provide additional instructions for pick up, I received a response immediately. When the gentlemen arrived they were very friendly and professional. It was very easy to book the appointment on the Internet and get a quote on line.The two workmen arrived on time and were obviously experienced in moving large furniture. They moved the center in 15 minutes and were on their way. The two gentlemen were very polite and personable. I would hire this company again if the need arises and highly recommend their service.The price was exactly the same as the Internet quote.

I was quoted a price after filling out the online information of what I needed removed and I sent pictures of everything. I was quoted a price but when they showed up, they jacked price up by $237 more dollars!! Never again! I do not recommend at all.

I clearly wrote in the description that we had items inside a shed and some stuff outside as well that needed to be taken. They arrived with a truck already have full...meaning everything in the shed was not taken because theyd have to do another trip? I would have preferred if they arrived a little later with an empty truck so we could put everything. The labor was fine they worked quick and efficiently but I dont understand why they didnt come with a clean slate, prepared to take items because now everything left in the shed we have to drop off ourselves.

The guys who came to take my junk were very kind and professional. I live in an apartment complex and they made sure to double-check that they only took what I placed there so as to charge the correct amount. They were even able to come early and called to make sure that this was OK with my schedule before heading over. If I have a need again, I will use them again in a heartbeat.

First of all, I sent in a picture of the couch and was quoted a price of $128.00 including taxes and disposable fees. The two guys came hours earlier than my confirmed time which was an inconvenience for me. They moved my one couch in less than 5 minutes marking up my wall. Then they shocked me by charging me $218.00. This was not the original price I was quoted.To be honest, I thought $128.00 was a bit steep. I have tried to reach a supervisor with no avail. I will never use this companys services again. They are scammers so please be AWARE!

This was my first experience using Junk King to take an old bedroom set away to make room for new furniture. I wanted to use a company that would be able to repurpose, donate and recycle as much of the furniture as possible - all of which they do. I scheduled online 5 days prior, was able to select a 2-hr time window that worked for me and they called me as promised within 20 minutes of arrival. I was impressed with how prompt, professional and respectful they were of my time and home, making sure to remove the items carefully around tight corners and being mindful of my floor and walls. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and plan to use them again as the entire process was seamless, affordable and pleasant!!!!

Really appreciate Shawn and his coworker coming out to pick up my heavy Sony flat panel TV, the old school one that is about 200 lbs! Didnt take them no time at all to get it out of my garage. Now my window was 4 to 6 PM and I got a text around 6:10 stating they were on their way. That was the only poor customer service issue.We have had that TV for 19 years and it still worked but was replaced by a much lighter flat screen.Thanks for helping me clean out my garage Junk King.
