I ordered a 25000 BTU air conditioner when it got here it was broken free set up service to have it picked up then we had to take it to Walmart who were of no help whatsoever we still have it after three attempts for them to come get it and a fourth lie no one came no one called this pilot is awful Walmart is awful I will now go to Target Im done with them all I needed this air conditioner for my health but I guess that doesnt matter to these companies I think Walmart stinks

I ordered a tub on Wayfair and Pilot Freight Services Charlotte was contracted by Wayfair to do the local large item delivery.They called as expected to schedule the delivery and followed up several times to confirm and provide a window for the delivery. Excellent customer service. Team 3 came to our home today and delivered the tub. 2 awesome gentlemen carries into our garage (this is the service we chose), opened it with me to inspect it. They were on time, super professional, friendly - great team and guys!!

Worst freight company ever! They not only lost a rug once, but twice!!! How do you lose a rug?! My guess is someone from the company is stealing items and selling them for a mark up on marketplace! This place is a dump and is filled with a bunch of airheaded, incompetent people who know nothing about nothing! Take your business elsewhere! Lets hope this place goes out of business!

I ordered a couple 11’ stand up paddle boards from Isle that I needed in time for Christmas. I should have ordered them at least a week earlier as the shipment was being sent from San Diego, CA. When I called Charlotte Pilot to find out delivery status, instead of the customer service run around I got *real* service! They checked on the package, gave me the bad news that it looked like it would only be deliverable after Christmas, and recommended I call back each day so status could be checked just in case. On a subsequent call, a suggestion was made that I may be able to pick it up at the warehouse if it came in in time for that but not in time for home delivery. A Christmas Miracle, the package arrived unmanaged on 12/23 and since Pilot Charlotte is open until 6pm for customer pick up I was able to get there for it. The office staff was helpful, the forklift driver was helpful, and “the” Christmas gift of this year was opened on Christmas morning. Thank you Pilot Charlotte!!

Had a scheduled delivery and they did not appear. They didnt even bother to call or email. I had to reach out to them and the earliest they can receive my item is two days out from now.

Absolutely the worst freight company we have ever used!! 1st the lost our 75 inch t.v....2nd attempt to deliver and it showed up broken. Never have big items from Walmart or wayfair delivered. Just get someone with a truck to help you pick it up. Lesson learned. Long list of bad reviews on here for pilot. Employee was caught stealing big t.vs.

Delivered a boxed swing set on an 18 wheeler and RAN OVER MY FFENCE!!!!! The driver pretended it did not happen and never said a word about it. They knew it happened because they corrected their path and they left huge metal chunks of the shipping container in my yard. They have been ignoring my phone calls and emails for 3 months now.

The best in customer service! Tracy our onsite Rep has always gone above and Beyond! Other honorable mentions: Greg, Eric, Lamar, and Mike. All have always been helpful! When I took over logistics for our company We had ten different trucking companies to deal with. I have narrowed it down to two, with Pilot being 90% of our shipping supplier.They are quick to fix issues and they are great over the phone, and are very efficient in all that they do...

Horrendous service. I shipped a large 1920s Fireplace mantle item using Pilot. Product arrived so badly damaged customer wouldn’t except it, leaving me with shipping fees, plus furniture only good for firewood after being thrown around like a big box of toilet paper. They must be some sort of 3rd party shipping outfit that farms most everything out instead of delivering themselves with the care they claim.

Horrible service and unprofessional manners. They are not reliable.First of all my delivery was 11 days late and then they scheduled a day for it to be delivered between 12 pm and 5 pm. When my delivery did not arrive by 5pm, I called and Dave (I believe was his name) contacted the driver who told him that he did try to deliver the package, but there was a Confederate flag flying on the dirt road that I live on. Therefore the driver left and will not return with the package because he is a man of color and did not safe.Second of all if Americans actually knew history and that the flag is part of our history and understood that not all people who fly the flag are racist then maybe our society would run smoother. My neighbor is harmless and he even flies other flags as well. There is no reason to feel unsafe over a single flag. That is just ignorance.The customer service here is horrible and I would not suggest this company to anyone. I am also going to contact Fingerhut about their unreliable delivery services.

Terrible service. They showed up at my house trying to deliver someone else’s bed. They left nasty voicemail messages on my phone about me not being present for delivery. Turns out that the bed was supposed be delivered to someone else. Our bed was not on the truck. I then had to call dispatch and explain the situation two different times. They were also nasty until the realized how screwed up they were. They finally delivered our bed and there was extensive damage to the box.This was an Amazon order. Very disappointing.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Iordered a pool table, when I received it the box was damaged. Upon taking the pool table out of the box to put it together it was cracked. Now I’m waiting on another pool table to arrive and I’ve been given three different delivery dates. It went from December 27th to the 24th now the 30th when this was suppose to be a Christmas gift. I’m beyond upset.

Ordered a paddle board with the expected shipping on June 3rd. June 1st I got the email stating it was in the shipping center closest to me. Called June 8th and they told me it just now got to that center and expected it to be delivered by June 11th now. Awful communication and shipping time.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. All the men that work there apparently do not document their conversations with you even if you speak with them on numerous occasions. They made the entire delivery experience terrible and I still do not even have the item I ordered. The manager was the only one that seemed to actually address the issue I am sincerely hoping that was the last call that I had to make. Their delivery time windows are small typically during business hours when nobody is even available at your home to sign and there is no other way around it. Had to go out of our way twice to come to their facility to get it. Jim, the GM, was our only saving grace but sadly enduring two weeks of Pilot was enough for us!

1860 called and they want their shipping service back. 12 days to ship from East Tennessee to Charlotte, NC. Wow - i know amazon sets the bar high, but even the post office does it in 1/4th the time to ship across the country. Over 2 weeks from ordering the item and I finally received it. The vendor i purchased from will certainly hear me complain regarding this since they said it was to arrive a week ago. What a mess. Will not use this company for shipping again. Good thing it was a neighboring state, could only imagine how long it would take from further away!

Definitely not a good experience. I ordered a patio set from WalMart and tracked it via the information the store provided.Stayed home all day that day because tracking said that the item was out for delivery - only to find after checking the tracking website later that it couldnt be delivered that day. No problem - made an appt. with Pilot for another day, stayed home again waiting for delivery. This time, got a call that morning that they were on the way, but when the driver arrived, he took the (very large and very heavy) box off the truck, put it down on the ground in the parking lot, told my husband he could not take the box upstairs, and left. Mind you, we live on the THIRD FLOOR. No assistance, did not carry the box upstairs to deliver it to our door, said he couldnt carry it because they werent supposed to take boxes upstairs. After waiting additional days for delivery, it was really insulting for a delivery person to not complete the job - actually DELIVERING the package to our door. Ive never, ever heard of a delivery service just dropping off a huge box in a parking lot and then refusing to bring it to the customers door, regardless of the floor they live on. Either Pilot needs to give their drivers more assistance for larger packages, or dont accept the payment larger stores are giving you to do a complete job of delivering. I really hope WalMart goes back to using UPS soon. We have NEVER had a ridiculous experience like this - and hopefully we will never have to use Pilots delivery services again. This was really sub-par at best.

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered a bed base off of Amazon October 17th to be delivered on November 2nd to our first house we just closed on. The product was never delivered that day. Back and fourth with Amazon and the delivery agent, they both were blaming each other as to what happened. Between the shipment got lost by the delivery agent and it never left the delivery agent, it is understandable that I was already upset. I was told by Amazon that the earliest date they could ship me another bed base was November 13th. Are you kidding me? I would finally get my product a month later after the first time I ordered it? I dont have a bed to sleep on in my first home, and my fiancés parents are visiting on the 15th. A whole lot of frustration and research later, I wound up re-ordering the same product off Amazon to come the 13th, due to cheapest price compared with other websites, and supposedly the earliest delivery date as well. Well today is Nov. 13th, and the delivery time was set for 9AM-12PM, it is currently after 3:30PM and there is no bed. I am beginning to think I am being scammed and there really is no bed. The driver keeps calling my fiancé over the past 2 hours and telling him that he will be here in half an hour. This is an absolute joke.

Very diasppointed - poor business practices. Tracking info provided and had a window of 9am - 1pm. At 12:45 pm I called. They said the driver left some of his freight and had to return to get it which put him behind. If you know at 8:30am you arent going to meet the appointment because you are already behind, why not call those customers to let them know and reschedule.I was told the driver could probably be there by 1:30 pm. I asked if he could come later due to i had something scheduled after 1pm. I was told no and had to reschedule for 3 days later.Poor customer service

Ordered a bed cover for my pickup from a place in the midwest and it was shipped via PilotFreight. I saw via their website it made it to the Charlotte airport on a Friday. Emailed the company who sold it to me over the weekend and they said Pilot Freight will be contacting me to schedule delivery. No contact Monday, so Tuesday I called PF. The guy said their trucks were already out for the day, so they couldnt deliver that day. So I drove there and picked it up. Which was a more of a process than I expected. They were friendly and everything, I was just not happy my package sat in Charlotte for two business days and I wasnt even contacted to schedule delivery.

Ordered a large flat screen TV from Fingerhut and Pilot delivered my item one week late! When it arrived, found the box was damaged and the TV was missing the Power plug. What? 😦 Called Fingerhut to let them know what happened, they were totally useless and unprofessional! Called Pilot customer service and they could not do anything until Fingerhut contacted them for the return authorizations. So we purchased a temporary universal cord from Walmart just to ensure the TV was working. To our dismay, found the TV had a large crack that ran across the whole screen and which rendered the TV inoperable! We were so disheartened, this TV was a birthday gift for my husband which he couldnt even enjoy but turned out to be more frustrating with dealing with the whole situation. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH THIS COMPANY!!!😬

Ordered a tv and after reading the reviews I was kind of worried. Tv came from Texas to here in North Carolina and got here pretty quick. As soon as it arrived here in North Carolina, I received a call from one of the representatives from the charlotte pilot delivery office. He was nice and even joked with me and set up a delivery schedule which came on time. The delivery guy even brought my tv up to my apartment on the 3rd level with no damage to the box at all. If service is always like this I will have no problem using them in the future.

Im in a movie theater when this place calls to do a delivery. I call them back once I get outside the movie rooms but have no 4g internet but have reception to call.Some guy answers and asks for the tracking # and I tell him I cannot get it due to internet after he tells me he cant look me up by anything else but then says he can by name.Long story short he pulls my delivery up and then asks me to write down the tracking # at which point I tell him I have it at home and he then laughs and says ok so you said you didnt have it but you do have it OKKKKayThen puts me on hold and says he can do Wednesday. I just said OK and hung up. Im not going to be incenuated as a liar by some low life minimim wage trash. Hes lucky I dont drive an hour in person to Charlotte and wait for him to get off work at 5.. rude ahole.Im going to call the company I purchased from and suggest they never do business with these aholes again. Condecending twit should be fired.

Apparently Walmart uses this shipping company for their larger items purchased from their website. After 2 weeks of not receiving the order, we called Walmart and conference called in Pilot Shipping. The woman who represented Pilot shipping was awful. She was rude, yelled and screamed at me, the customer on the phone, for asking a simple question. She screamed... I am talking to WALMART! Wow talk about customer service. They lied and told Walmart that they had called us to arrange shipment, which never happened. I diligently checked my caller ID, kept the phone near me at all times, and ensured that Walmart had my correct contact information. During the extremely rude phone call, Pilot admitted they only had 2 boxes and not the full order. Pilot should really keep that lady off the phone and maybe move her to a department where she does not deal with the public. I will be sending a letter to Walmart and inform them of the Pilots lies and rude behavior toward a customer and will never order from Walmart again due to this incident.
