I currently receive Clinical Supervision from Mr. Matthews in order to become a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). From the very first day I spoke with Mr. Matthews (not even seeking to be supervised by him) he has been a person of his word, a resource for a wealth of knowledge and someone who is not intimidated about assisting another counselor grow professionally. In my short time with him, I have learned so much on how to be a better counselor, how to grow professionally and as a business owner and how to challenge my thinking and expectations more. I would recommend Mr. Matthew to anyone desiring therapy, couples counseling or supervision. You know what you are going to get with Mr. Matthews because hes going to do a great job communicating the process, clearly define the objective, provide insight, summarize the conversation and ask you to provide feedback to make sure everyone was on the same page. Who wouldnt want a person like that working with you?

Chris was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Chris constantly ensured that we were keeping my therapy goals in mind and moving towards them. He is truly an incredible listener, and gave plenty of opportunity to provide feedback. I visited with Chris first for individual then couples counseling, and both experiences left me feeling better, more confident, more prepared, and lighter. Definitely would recommend.

I thought the class was pretty good. It showed me that I wasnt alone with the mistakes I have made and people have done similar things and still have a good future ahead of them. Jamal is unique as a teacher because he literally relate to things we did and are going through and its shows that we can have a good future if we are willing to make the changes we need to make. My decision making will be different because I wont be putting myself in the situation with the police that could get me in serious trouble and impact my future in a negative way

This class taught me that I need to control my anger. That I dont need to let everything get to me. What made the teacher unique was that he stayed on topic, and that he kept me up and moving. I learn hands on, so I thought that was good. What will be different about my decision making is that I wont turn my savage on all the time, Ill count to 10, or rethink the situation before I start going all out.

I enjoyed the class, it didnt make me feel bad about myself. I felt better because there was other people there that could relate to what I was going through. The teacher was unique because he had bad experiences in the past with drugs and alcohol and he was teaching through experience. I will make better decisions concerning my drug and alcohol choices.

Jamal is a unique teacher because his story is applicable to mostly everyone in that they can change their behavior. He went from kidnappung to having his own business.3. My decision making will be different because I will try my hardest to not smoke and I will think about the consequences.

Great speakers! Very informational sessions. Everything was very interactive and informative and has made it easy to apply to my life and future. I truly see a need to change my habits and create a better future for myself after attending a 15 hour weekend session.

I really enjoyed the class. It opened my eyes on how consequences can negatively affect your life. The class was both interesting and informative at the same time! Jamal was a unique teacher because he had lived the life he was trying to help us avoid. He also did not give the appearance of someone with a criminal history. Ive learned to be more responsible with my decision making.

The class is very eye opening and very educational. The staff is amazing and the class is open and a none judgment zone. He is a unique teacher because he is relatable and it he shows that you can change whatever the situation. Plus he asks the important questions. In the class we talked about decision making. And for my decision making I would change how I approach and handle a situation.

Jamal really helped me with changing my bad habits. The class was very engaging and interesting. I expected it to be boring and slow but I was happy to see it was fun and helped me realize I needed changes.

The teacher I had was very informative, made the class enjoyable. We discussed many of the problems we all face today. I feel like many people will leave this class with a different view on drugs and alcohol.

I thought jamals class was very interactive as compared to other teachers. His lesson is helping me think on how to cooperate more with the law and how those decisions ae helping me in the long run.

This experience has helped me grow and learn . The staff are very friendly and eager to help and guide you during a difficult situation . The facility is clean and well equipped for group discussions and they even offer one counseling services .
