Carolina Remodeling Services exceeded any and all of my expectations. I worked directly with Tyler, the son of the owner. From the beginning he was professional, consultative and worked with a very high degree of integrity. All of which I have found to be uncommon in home remodeling.Throughout the project he and his crew worked with me on the design and to find the best deals on tile, fixtures and other accessories. His crew was on clean and professional and worked with me on a schedule that I could rely on with the day to day activities.I would also like to add that he and his crew were committed to doing very high quality job above all other things. Again, not something that is common in this field especially once a project is underway and money has changed hands. I cant say enough for this company, the people and the positive experience that I had working with them.

If you like hiring illegal labor who could care less about your home or families safety then this is your company. Terrible service and dishonest with poor quality. Stay away!!

We had our kitchen completely remodeled with Carolina Remodeling Services. Their price was definitely the best from what we found around Charlotte. We met with Tyler initially who was super nice and helpful. We also used their designer Melissa who helped us throughout the entire process. She is amazing and patient and helped us complete our vision perfectly. Tony was our contractor and was super nice through our experience and so were all his workers. The project took longer than planned by a month and communication was an issue occasionally but that was where Denise stepped in to assist in that department and she is very sweet. Overall, the work was amazing and we LOVE our kitchen! Just have to have some patience through this process as it can be stressful.

Tony remodeled 2 bathrooms for me. The work was very sloppy; excess grout on walls and floor. There are chipped tiles, uneven grout lines, and unsymmetrical tile work. The niches were done so poorly, they had to be redone. They are still sub-par. The shower head in the secondary bath was so high, I couldn’t even reach the handheld unit. We had to buy a new shower head and install it ourselves.I have been unable to reach him since he was paid. His email is no longer functioning, and his phone disconnected. After hearing other customer experiences, I guess we’re lucky. Please do not use Carolina Remodeling. There are much better choices.

Carolina Remodeling Services recently helped me with a work-related community refurbishment project. Denise and Tony were awesome to work with and really helped turned my vision to life! They were extremely flexible with my tight timeline for the work to be completed and got it done on time and both spaces came out beautifully. They were complete lifesavers on this project and I cant thank them enough. Highly recommend to anyone in need of any kind of remodeling services!

It was my pleasure to work with Carolina Remodeling Services on my recent home renovation. They were prompt, polite, and very reasonable in price compared to other quotes I received. Within just a few days of the quote they were out to the home to get to work. Tony and Denise are both very kind and always available. I highly recommend!

We used Carolina Remodeling to remove our builder installed deck, and design & build a maintenance free screened porch and new deck for grilling out. Tony, Paul, Fernando and the entire team did a fantastic job, and checked in with us regularly to ensure that the details were spot on, and completed in a timely fashion. Wed call again for any home remodeling needs.

Company does great work at a reasonable cost. Very reliable and trust worthy I would recommend this company to everyone.

Tony Herbert failed to complete my 2 story garage. Garage was supposed to be complete by the end of August and by the beginning of December we were no closer to being done. I begged Tony to let me help him get to the finish line. After missing multiple commitments, being impossible to get on the phone and being generally unresponsive, I was able to track down Denise. Very nice and promised to help finish the project....Tony called the next day and fessed up that he had been lying to me and my family. He had become insolvent and asked me to pay his subs directly. Much different story than the one he told about his subs not being responsive or showing up. Tony came to my house with Denise and continued to lie about the whereabouts of my plumbing fixtures. I asked if he brought them (which I requested several times) and he said he came “straight from another job”… when I asked if we could go get them afterwards he fessed up that he never ordered them but would do so right away! Yeah right. After I paid his subs, they showed up and completed more work in 3 weeks than Tony completed in 3 months. None had good things to day about recent dealings with Tony Herbert. Twice I paid Tony earlier than the draw schedule that he provided and I agreed too... He told my wife he is going out of business but who knows. Called the folks that referred him to me and they are in the same boat. Some very expensive lessons learned on this one.

I too have fallen victim to this business. Slow response time, failed inspections, twice we advanced Tony money for materials and we never got the materials. Our project has been ongoing for the last 16 months. Oh and not to mention that he disconnected all of his phone numbers and we couldnt get a hold of him. He failed to read archetictural plans, work done not complete or done very poorly and he gave us the run around on a lot of questions. We paid him for a tin roof and front door change order in May and his excuse for why the roofer hasnt installed was we are on the list. what?? We also advanced him 50% for our master bathroom materials and he only put down $100 towards the full amount. The place where we ordered the tile started calling us because they couldnt get a hold of Tony either. I dont know what happened in his life but something happened. You dont have a signed contract with someone and then disconnect your phone number in the middle of the job and then also take money from the homeowner and not do the work. Stay far away from Tony and this company. Complaints have been filed, and awaiting futher action. Vauable lesson learned. Dont give not even 50% payment up front. Pay only a deposit and then pay at the end when satisfied. we trusted him because he had delivered at the begining. Then it went downhill from there. None of his subcontractors that he used had nice things to say about him. So dissapointed. We sent termination letter Friday on July 12 and also requested him to sign an affidavit. We have yet to receive the affidavit. Who agrees to do a renovation with someone and then slow pays, doesnt show up but once a week, and then ultimately disconnects his phone numbers so no one can get a hold of him??

Was very happy with the kitchen remodel that Tyler did for us. Showed up on time, did an awesome job, and left eveything in a neat and clean fashion. would recomend this company for sure.

I recently used CRS for a remodel on my second floor kitchen, living room and powder room in Uptown, Charlotte. Tony, Tyler and the team were courteous and profesional, and most importantly performed really quality work. This project was logistically difficult since I live in the city but they made it work. Tony and Tyler were quick to respond to my text messages (with a million questions) and kept in touch about the timeline of each subcontractor. The project did take longer than originally anticipated (in part, due to add ons from me!) but they were very conscientious about sticking to the original quoted budget. They gave me the freedom to choose my own finishes and design. Overall I am very happy with the final outcome and would most definitely recommend their services.

I give zero stars if that were possible....I cant even but into words how horrible our ecperience has been....overpriced, work quoted not complete, emails to sales rep ignored, too many middle men, I could go on and on but I will end with this....SAVE MONEY, GO WITH THE SELF-EMPLOYED FAMILY COMPANY

Took my deposit and no showed me. Never rescheduled. Changed numbers so I could not contact them and get a refund. Frauds.
