I have used this same Speedee since moving to Charlotte. They have done my state inspection, oil change, brake change and general maintenance. I’ve also had more critical repairs done here. They are fast, professional and fair. The customer service is exceptional and friendly.

I came in for a standard oil change. They ended up doing a work I didnt ask for and didnt even ask me if it was okay to do the work. Charged me $100 for a coolant exchange & put synthetic oil in my car which I wouldve been fine with, but I wasnt even asked by the mechanic if that was okay. Honestly, they didnt do that much work & I still came out of there paying $200 and complaining only got me $10 off for such bad service. I definitely wont be coming back.

I had an awesome experience at SpeeDee oil.Had gone to Advanced auto parts and they were worthless. When I called SpeeDee oil I spoke with Roberta over the phone and she was super nice and helpful. When I got there I didnt have to wait and Sam helped me out. If you ever come here ask for Sam he is a great guy, very good at his job, very professional and honest as well.

They always do a great job! I’ve never had to come back and have them correct a mistake. I went in for an oil change and after that was completed, the mechanic told me that my charge would be $129 for an additional service and a free filter. After they finished, I was charged $190. Come to find what he MEANT was 129 additional dollars on top of the oil change fee. OK. Fine. My mistake for not clarifying.However, the receptionist then told me that the additional service was actually $119 and the filter was $10. So... the mechanic lied about the cost of services to make it look like I was being given a deal. Dont lie to your customers faces. Its rude.

Hi. I took my van in for a vehicle inspection. It was routine 20-30 min as lady told me when I called. Upon completion, I was told that I failed the inspection. It was for wiper blades. The lady said she would get the inspector to explain to me why I failed due to wipers. The inspector came back and said that my vehicle did fail due to wiper. What’s troubling is what happens next. He says to me in front of 2 customers and desk lady that the wipers aren’t sold anywhere except ford. That he checked with auto zone and advanced auto. I was a little upset but I proceeded to check out. As soon as I left, I called advanced auto....they had 3 different pairs of my wipers???? I purchased the wipers, called Sam the manager and came back. Same first statement was...these may not fit? I showed him the receipt that clearly says it’s for my vehicle. They went back and placed new wipers on. Passed my inspection. Please be aware that people aren’t always diligent. All I know is that...he lied to my face and didn’t even apologize.

Stopped in right at 8am this morning to have maintenance service (oil change and tires rotated) performed on my vehicle. My car was taken in immediately and after they had a couple of minutes to check everything out they brought me out to discuss a couple of other manufacturer suggestions that I agreed to have performed. Samuel Tyson discussed each suggestion with me to make sure I understood the need for it and even showed me how dirty the air/cabin filters were (oops).Maintenance was completed in under an hour for all items and Samuel included some discounts and coupons without request/prompting. Incredibly friendly and addressed me by name.I really appreciate the time/effort/energy the team put into my car and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable car maintenance provider.

This morning my fiancée and I brought our vehicles in as they were both due for oil changes. my high-mileage vehicle was overdue for several other services and I gave the approval. given a 30 minute estimate, I waited, and picked up my vehicle a few minutes after that mark.As for my fiancée, she was given a 10-minute estimate after I received my update. Two very long hours afterwards, we’ve observed the technicians starting the vehicle several times, running through gears, a smoky start, and a 5-10 minute test drive? I go in on her behalf once I notice the car is parked where pickup usually occurs. The staff take a moment to collect paperwork, and NO explanation is given. No conversation, no notes, no apology.I hope to exercise understanding with all service industries, but this was a terrible experience.

This place never disappoints! I showed up a few minutes early and the door was already opened and I was greeted very warmly by a friendly Sam that works there. He assisted me right away and they took care of me even though I was early. They absolutely never overcharge or try to get you to buy something you do not need, they are honest hard working folks and always friendly and polite!Sam has always been incredible as well as everyone else there every time I come. I dont really write many reviews but this one was a must! Went in for an oil change and brakes. Sam was honest enough to tell me I didnt need brakes but highly recommended transmission fluid. The mechanics are honest as most places will take advantage of a Woman. Im very pleased with the service and professionalism from the mechanics. Last Thursday my check engine light came on and I was instantly panicking. I came early Saturday morning and I was the first one in. Sam took excellent care of me and my vehicle. I was put at ease and I didn’t feel like I was being sold a bunch of services I didn’t need so that they could make money. They were quick, professional and thorough. I usually come here to get my oil changed and more recently I had my brakes done here as well. I like they I have a quality, cost-effective alternative to the dealership with work that I can trust. Sam Tyson and team worked with me on my car two days after Christmas. They greeted me first thing in the morning with smiles on their faces. I came in for an inspection and oil change and while a few additional issues came up at first glance, Sam walked me through each part of the process, explained what was needed and broke down the cost. When my car was finished, he showed me exactly what was wrong with the parts they replaced which made me feel much better about trusting them and their services and knowing exactly what my money was going towards since it’s so many places that work on your car don’t usually explain things and just expect you to pay the bill. I will definitely be returning for any additional services needed in the future!

Earlier this week, I was on my way to work when I saw the dreaded little light on my dashboard indicating low air in tires. I drove to SpeeDee, which is down the road from me on Pineville Matthews Road, next to Chilis. Sam took care of me right away. I was back on the road and on my way to work in minutes. I always have a great experience when I come here whether it’s to get an oil change or get basic maintenance. Sam is a great employee and he makes sure every guest is taken care of and I always appreciate that.

I’m new to the area, and this was the closest place to get a quick inspection done.I was here about 20 minutes after they opened and there was only one person that I saw in the bay having his car serviced. They said it was first come first serve, but I was here for more than an hour and a half because I made the mistake of parking my car, so everyone driving up was taken care of way before I was. I sat and watched people in and out getting the same service that I was. Pretty interesting way of treating first come first served, I didn’t realize that I didn’t have to come in first to get an inspection done.

This was my first visit, but it will definitely not be my last. The staff was knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me (which I greatly appreciated). To say nothing about the time it took; there were roughly three customers ahead and it only took anywhere from 40-50 minutes for them to get me taken care of and on my way. My technician was Samuel Tyson. And he was the best, he truly went above and beyond for me today and I couldnt be happier. I never felt that uncomfortable feeling of being pushed into getting an unnecessary service or sales. Samuel was able to explain why I needed something, what it does and showed me where everything being serviced was located. He also provide me with some additional tips and suggestions for better upkeep of my car.You guys made my day a lot smoother and I truly appreciate the quality work and laughs. It was a complete rip off. I went to have my car inspected and asked the guy if he could do an oil change as well. He stated that he could and told me it would be about three hours. When I went to check out I was absolutely flabbergasted when the lady said my total was approximately $120.00 (I dont have my receipt available). I asked her why it was so much and she said that the particular oil change that I received was a certain price. She asked if the guy had told me how much it was and I told her that he hadnt. She then stated that she would charge me for the lesser oil change. My total bill still was $102.92. That is a ridiculous amount for an oil change and car inspection. Never again!!

Last monday i take my car for first time to this place to do a oil change, the guy asked me if I want a flush on my cooling system I said sure a few minutes later he came back and said the have a leak in one the hose. They broke a the cooling filter neck on my car and tell me you need to replace the radiator. The estimate was $860 out of my pocket. I have the car towing to my house and I fixed with $29. The car was no broken when I first got there. No emeven an apology from them. Never againg.

I have been going to this location for many years. The service is consistent and the employees are extremely polite. Helen at the front desk is ALWAYS friendly, kind, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I look forward to seeing her as she makes waiting for an oil change or inspection pleasant. It’s so nice to see the same happy face behind the desk for so many years.

I visited about a week ago because I believed that I was due for an oil change based on the 6-month rule. I asked the representative to check my oil and let me know. She said okay and pulled my car under the shed. She returned to let me know that I was due for an oil change and that it would be the synthetic type. I said okay and asked her to please hold as Id like to compare prices with other places since this was the pricier oil change option. She said theyd already drained my oil! I look at her and said, Well, I cant drive without oil so I guess Im stuck. She replied, yes. Really didnt appreciate feeling played or as if I was locked into a service that I wasnt sure of. Generic discount was offered, but nothing additional. The gentlemen who handled the actual oil change were very friendly and helpful, hence the two stars. I wont be back.

I’m a girl and sometimes getting my car checked and stuff like that is super stressful for me, my tire pressure light came on and I was supposed to go to Charleston soon so I had to get it fixed. Literally the second I walked in yesterday Sam was able to attend to me and air my tires and fix two of my backward hub caps. It was so quick (I also had to run errands later) and it made me feel really good about going back there for more of my car needs!

Every time I take my car in to be serviced..the staff always goes above and beyond their duties to make sure I get excellent customer service. Lamont serviced my AC and now my car is so cold..it feels like winter in summer. All of the staff are friendly and will go out of their way to make sure your experience at their shop in Pineville is excellent. I will always bring my car here and would recommend this business to anyone looking for honest and professional auto mechanics.

Pretty fast oil change and knowledgeable staff. Mason did an awesome job, spotted a big problem that saved my brakes, and it didnt cost an arm and a leg.

They GOT me! Went in for an oil change and inspection. Mechanic then recommend an AC compressor belt. Then was told they also had to replace the serpentine belt (which was in perfect condition) at the same time. I agreed to the pricey and unexpected repairs. Less than 20 miles from the shop, the compressor began loudly clicking, then broke down completely. NO AC, WHILE ON VACATION!! When we returned, they insisted that it was a coincidence and handed me another quote, 4X more than what I have already paid. A coincidence that the exact part you worked on broke down within 20 miles of pulling out of your bay??? You must think your customers are idiots. Very disappointing!

Very nice place with great prices for everything. Came in for an oil change and was alerted that my car had several other things that needed work. Sam, the guy who worked with me, personally took me out to show me everything that needed to be done and why it had to be done as well. The entire team was very professional and timely as well! Sam told me it would take around an hour for everything to be completed but it took only around half that time. Kudos to Sam for helping make the experience a great one and being very transparent and helpful with what needed to be done.

Cant believe I am going to say this about a car repair shop, but I was highly impressed. Quality, the owner was friendly and sincere, and watched out for me. Scanned a coupon for me. I asked for mixed blend oil then changed my mind to full synthetic. Personally saw the mechanics change the oil again. They didnt try to sell me extra services or tell me my engine was about to fall out if I didnt replace the dilithium Crystals (for you star trek fans). They let me out into the shop to ask some questions and the crew was sincere and didnt have an attitude. I will take my car here from now on and let everyone I know this is a customer friendly shop. The blower motor died in my car and I didn’t realize it until i didn’t have any heat. I took it in at lunch time and within just a few hours they had everything taken care of for me. It was an expensive part, but the pricing was absolutely fair (probably less than they should have charged me!), and Sam went above and beyond to take the time to explain to me what was done/why. For someone who isn’t super familiar with mechanics, it was the least intimidating experience I’ve had. I’ll be back!

The mechanics there are very diligent and kept me aware of what was happening at all times. Got an inspection and an oil change and was out in an hour. Only reason it was 4 stars is because the lady at the desk, Helen, was rude to me in the way and demeanor that she talked to me. But I overlooked it because the mechanics here are the best and thats all I wanted. Shame though, when you have good mechanics but the person interacting with customers acts like that.
