Im not completely sure why a lot of people only rate this yard 3 stars. The staff is friendly and helpful (mostly the ones at the entrance, not exit), and the yard is easy to walk through. I love that the whole yard is poured concrete because my feet dont hurt walking all over for what I need. Everything is reasonably priced, too. Ive never had an issue with returning something, but I always returned whatever it was within the given 30 days.

Extremely clean yard, all paved. Makes for easy cleanup and your tools stay clean. Good selection of vehicles as always. Super convenient location. This yard is right off of highway 85, so it is super easy to reach for those in the area. Pricing is fair and the staff informed and helpful.

Watch up for the prices before you paying. They charge whatever they want, even charge twice the parts and charges you for extended warranty without asking. Today payed $150 for some miscellaneous pieces (just plastic things that were missing in my car) I think it was way too much for what I got. When I checked the receipt find out some overcharges, went back to the cashier and didn’t get any money back, they said it was correct. Of course they had a really bad actitud. I will post a picture of what they call “large center console” and charged me $18.88 for that, so you guys can have an idea.

Review №6

Very disappointed with this place. I like the way the website works and the pics of the vehicles on the lot. Out of probably 10 times Ive been I have always left with empty but definitely greasy hands from looking for parts that have been thrown all over the place and 90% of those parts are destroyed from when the vehicle was thrown out onto the lot with their fork lift. So to put it in simple terms, this place is sloppy, disorganized, and probably wont have what your looking for or if they do itll be damaged and unusable. Instead of wasting valuable time and money, save up and just order new replacement parts.

BE CAREFUL!!!!they automatically add a unnecessary warranty for the part, this is 30-40% of the cost. If before buying you do not demand to remove the unnecessary warranty then you will lose money, the money for the warranty will not be returned to you. I have been a regular customer for 3 years, now I will not come back here. Zero stars, now cheaper and better buying from EBay, and no need spend time and smear hands. Its outrageous !!!

Make sure to scream NO EXTENDED WARRANTY please unless you need it. Otherwise, they will charge you for unnecessary warranties without even telling you and you wont get your money back for the warranty. You can probably get new parts offline for the price they charge you for the used part that you pulled.I even asked the guy, why my total is that high he gave me the part price but didnt mention that he charged me $60 in warranties for $200 parts. Warranty for even small metal braces, why would you charge me for something that I dont need or ask for. Once the transaction is complete, its like their POS system doesnt understand the word return, good luck getting your money back. I just wasted my day pulling the parts and coming home knowing that I could have bought new parts offline for roughly the same price.I noticed that there are 2 other guys wrote the reviews about the same issue so to me it seems that lot of people are facing this everyday but only few bother to make noise or bring it up.Well, I wont go back to these thieves.

RIP off they let there employees charge whatever they want apparently. Web site says wiper motor is 9.98 she charged me 17 when I told her that was wrong according to web site its 9 she said it dont matter its still an electrical motor and proceeded. So watch out if you get the very pretty Spanish girl with blue eyes. I will be taking my business back over to pull a part on Tryon.

It is a working automotive salvage yard. It wont be clean, so expect oil and other automotive fluids to be all around. Most of the yard is paved and the vehicles are all on standsThey are ahead of similar yards in that their online inventory search includes pictures of the vehicles and the VIN.Pricing-wise, they are typical of the other yards... Some are higher, others are lower. They offer a 30 day warranty on everything rather than issue credit, they refund in the event an item is defective. The atmosphere seems less relaxed though, so it isnt my first choice yard.

Review №46

It’s a decent yard. But be warned, pull exactly what you need because they will charge you for every nut, bolt, harness plug, cap and whatever they can. For example if you need a overflow tank for radiator you will be charged for the tank, and cap and whatever else is attached to it. Even if cut a harness to remove a par, you better remove the connector because they will charge you for that as well even when it’s useless.

I love this place the only problem I have with it is that they dont replace the vehicles that often and for the area a lot of people strip these cars down so theres really nothing when you go pay the fee to get in to look for what you looking for inventory control is also not as good so they dont keep track of stuff is hard for them only thing I would do to this place is have the inventory that is stripped down taken out and replaced if you know it sells a lot because the vehicle is stripped down and theres nothing left on it

Made two trips from a good distance away almost an hour drive pulled in both nights at 10 till 5:00 something like that pretty close to closing time only to find out that they close the gates at four-thirty so you cant get in & they were very rude no no help whatsoever nobody ever mentioned that u can go online and check it out, but even if you do still cant tell you if the parts there. I also know that the one eight hundred number which is the only way you can call them now that it was absolutely no help whatsoever they have no idea if they got the part dont know when they close the gates dont make any recommendations its just your flying by the seat of your pants so I ended up with $40 invested in gas,,,making two round tripsand still had no part and and got a gate and the window closed in my face

The lady at the window does not know anything, I bought head cylinder and she charge me for the valve cover and the timing gear and I told her the valve cover and the timing gear is part of the head cylinder, I showed her the camshaft is part of the timing gear they do not come separate , And she told me she has been working their for eight years, yes you have been but not working on cars. As far as I know , When you buy a head it suppose to be complete with cams and cover, and she even charge me for the oil cap on the top the valve cover. And i bought a plastic core support and she charge me a core, who charge a core for plastic. At the end , the lady is very rude and one more thing, She charge me for a turbo and exhaust manifold, well she should know that turbo is part of the exhaust , When you buy a turbo from any Used parts place they sell it to you with the exhaust. If you look at the price list on the their website it does not says the cylinder head without a cover.

I wish I could give this place -5 stars. We drove all the way to Charlotte from Greenville because of a transmission their website said they had. Buyer beware...I went through the line for 3 different purchases in 1 day. Some of the cashiers are fair but others will make up their own prices on the spot. They have a completely different price list than what is available online to the customers and will just add random prices. The yard is paved which is nice but $3 at the door, Enviro fees and core charges plus premium prices for many items make it worth checking full service salvage yards first. Deals can be had but make sure you check all your pricing before paying.

I’ve visited many scrap yards & self serve yards this is by far the Worst service ever, they rather throw away parts then work with you, didn’t read the fine print on the receipt and brought cores back from a previous purchase to find out I was 10 days late so they still took my part but no credit or adjusted value at all on the new parts purchased, being a owner of several businesses I would never recommend someone. They talk to you in a way that you don’t ever want to come back. My 3rd time there & I am done. I left so upset that I had to post this. There’s plenty of places where to spend your money and you’ll get way better service. Don’t waste your time

I dont understand why the prices of something in the junkyard is the same price of the same thing brand new. Also, why not try to make deals to get rid of parts. The hispanic woman told me an auxiliary rear heater water pump is $57 with core but a mechanical water pump is $8. On eBay the same auxiliary water pump is $37 brand new. I tried to explain that this pump sends water to the rear heater core and there wasnt a set price for an auxiliary water pump. Even after telling them this, they were still going to charge me $57 plus tax. Also they were going to charge me for the cut holes on the pulled pump, Talk about money-hungry people. I even asked for a discount to get the part lowered, but they didnt want to hear it, as if they were losing money.LKQ is a great place to get affordable parts, but I think they need to update their parts list and add the price of the actual part instead of an universal price.
