My lease renewal came with $200 increase and I am a resident for 3years. We all know Charlotte has real estate bubble due to demand supply. BUT this is happening alongside with pandemic. Is it the right time for Camden to aim higher profit? Is it a socially responsible action?I love my apartment and as a family we have lot of memories. We like to stay here.

We’ve been here a year and will be moving soon. While the community looks shiny and nice on the outside, stay here for some time and you’ll start to figure things out. If you want to come home to the smell of weed and have to worry about your car getting broke into, this is the place to be. Hey Camden, how about with all the money you’re raising our rent by you put some gates in or hire security? These screenshots are recent from the community wall.

We moved to this place from New Jersey a week ago. This place is very old, has bugs in and around. They didn’t even clean the apartments before handing it to us. There were cobwebs and dead insects in the apartment. The wooden floor creaks at every step. We got the middle floor apartment, it is just living hell here.when people living upstairs walk, we get horrible noises coz of the wood and same is for the people living downstairs to us. I would never recommend this apartments to anyone.

I honestly do not even know where to begin. I generally only leave reviews if it’s positive, but this post is necessary. Yes, the people above you are loud due to the flooring. But I’ll ignore that since there really isn’t too much to be done about that.Yes, it constantly smells like smoke and weed— this is actually huge. They claim they’ll do something. They don’t. Unless it’s during office hours and the person is actively smoking, then they’ll check it out. Which never happened.My biggest complaint is how I was treated toward the end of my stay. Let me paint a picture for you first: I had just had a baby…. That comes with its own sleep deprivations and challenges. Add to that- I was hospitalized post partum due to severe blood clots and bilateral pulmonary emboli. It’s been a struggle the past few months for me as I’m trying to get healthy and take care of my little one. Not to mention trying to get proper rest for us amongst the loudness, but also trying to keep us both healthy amongst constant smoke….. anyway. Our lease renewal came and on the top showed how rent would be going up ~$250/month which is absolutely ludacris. Obviously, we wouldn’t be staying. We wound up moving out about two months early because of how much we couldn’t stand it there. That being said, when I was charged an additional $2500 ( 1.5x my usual) the month AFTER I left I was fuming. Apparently there was a small disclaimer at the *bottom* which states they need 60days written notice if we’re leaving. I’ve NEVER had that and I’ve lived in many places across 3 different states (including NY, which you’d think would be most strict). Anyways. My husband went to talk to them because he was never informed of this and wanted to explain our situation a little. Apparently I was “head of household”. There were days I was struggling to live and you’re going to scrutinize me over not reading the fine print?! The fact we were not shown even an ounce of compassion disgusts me as a human. This huge corporation who has plenty of money and will continue to do so with the outrageous price increases…. Had the audacity to still charge me $2500 after I had already moved out early and while dealing with a newborn, hospital bills, etc. It’s absolutely disgusting to me. That that money means *that* much to them because of the fine print. Money they don’t need, but is absolutely HUGE to my family right now.They just spew “your lease” yada yada. I wanted to spew back, well my lease also promised me a smoke free environment. Anyway. It’s horrible and I am still so in shock at the lack of respect and compassion. All for a dime.

Me and my boyfriend moved in about mid october and were in a rush to find something affordable. Katy was amazing with the renting process and made the move very easy. Love how clean the complex is kept and the location is perfect!

Elizabeth has been very helpful, kind, considerate and caring with several situations but the most recent was when I had surgery she helped with arrangements to make sure my husband was safe while walking our dog (he has health issues and is unsteady on his feet). She also made sure to check and see if I needed anything until I was back on my feet.Elizabeth also handled with respect and professionalism the concerns I had with residents speeding in the complex especially in the mornings.I enjoy talking with Elizabeth about many different subjects and she always has a smile and positive attitude, she is truly a delight and I’m happy she is a part of the Camden Stonecrest Family.Rosie Green

I want to preface that the staff here is great and my problem is not with them! Honestly I love my apartment and would not want to live anywhere else . My biggest complaint though is how much money they raise the rent every year! The first 3 years was almost $100 each year . Now in the middle of a pandemic they want to raise my rent almost $200 a month!! I think that is insane and disgusting ( whether in a pandemic or not). Camden should be ashamed!!

Hello, we moved in about a month ago and this place is amazing! A big shout out to the maintenance crew for how quickly they respond to our requests and how professional they are. But, our transition to this property would not have been possible without the help of Natalie Cole. She is really something special. Make sure you do what you need to do to keep her here. I give her 5 Stars!!

We moved in about a month ago and everything has been first rate from Natalie Case the leasing agent to the maintenance staff. She answers questions promptly when asked and maintenance request have been responded to quickly and staff is very professional. We are very happy that we chose Camden Stonecrest!

I moved to this community in late November. I had to find an apartment on a very short notice and Natalie was very helpful in making that possible. My experience in Camden so far has been mostly positive, and i like the fact that the staff is very responsive when something unexpected happens! If you’re looking for convenience of being near to grocery stores and i485, this is a good place to be at.

I’m so happy that I made the decision to move from Camden Ballantyne to Stonecrest. Beautiful clean apartments and everyone has been so helpful. Maintenance staff and the front office have been great, and covered everything to ensure moving in was very easy. Definitely think this is one of the better properties in the Ballantyne area!

I spoke with Katy about potentially transferring to Camden Stonecrest and throughout the entire process she was professional, very communicative, and helpful. She answered all of my questions and remained available for anything that I would need. I greatly appreciated her attentiveness!

I have enjoyed my time living at Camden Stonecrest. The staff has always been helpful. Anytime I have a question, they respond to my emails quickly. They also are very good about following up. The maintenance team has also addressed any issues very quickly. I am about to renew my lease. It is enjoyable to live here and in a convenient location!

My girlfriend and I moved here in July from Ohio, and though we did not have jobs lined up at the time, Camden was more than helpful and willing to help us out and lease us an apartment; this was a tremendous help! Everyone is so friendly and helpful here, especially Elizabeth M. in leasing and Oscar B. in maintenance. The complex and surrounding area is beautiful and with plenty to do!

It is a great place to live. Everything is clean, neat and surrounds with the green nature. The Elementary school is very good. The leasing office team is so nice and helpful. Maintenance requests resolves very quickly. We truly feel here like at home. Highly recommend this place.

Living at Camden Stonecrest was the perfect transition into Charlotte. I used to live in the Wingate/Monroe area, and between the car dealerships and fast food joints, there was not much to do. I was starstruck when I came across Ballantyne - between the Stonecrest and Blakeney shopping areas alone, you have everything you could ever ask for within walking distance or a short drive. I lived at Stonecrest for 1.5 years and am still finding new areas constantly.Disclaimer: I am a current Camden employee, but of course, my options within Camden were not limited to this community alone. I chose Stonecrest because of its large floorplans, reasonable pricing (especially compared to uptown), and of course, location! This apartment fell on my lap at the perfect time after graduating from college, and I loved every second of my one bedroom home here. The hardwood floors, large windows, and HUGE walk-in bedroom closet were some of my favorite features! I feel so fortunate to have lived here before finding a house.Some other perks of living at Stonecrest: it is a very pet-friendly community, there is a beautiful catch-and-release fishing pond on-site (complete with a gazebo and grills), I-485 is less than a mile away, there is an ADORABLE farmers market right around the corner twice a week, and I might be biased... but the office staff and maintenance team are pretty great as well. :)Come check it out for yourself - you will not be disappointed!

I truly love living at Camden Stonecrest. All of the employees are so caring and fantastic. They are always fast to complete work orders on needs within the apartment and certainly try and resolve issues quickly. I love the no hard selling at Camden Stonecrest. The community stays full and that in itself shows that they are doing everything correctly!A super place to live! Summer will be wonderful here as the pool is beautiful!

We are very Happy here at Camden Stonecrest - its friendly, affordable, clean, and quiet .Being on the first floor there is occasionally the upstairs patter of feet!!!! The maintenance personal is excellent always fast to answer a request or Question. The valet trash pick up is a welcome plus. The office staff keeps us up to date on community news and they are welcoming if you enter the office for anything. All in all Camden is the place to come and see if you are looking for a home to rent!

Katy and the whole staff are great! The amenities are very nice (theres even a small, private theater that you can reserve. Are you kidding me?). Grounds are well kept and the maintenance team is top notch.

Ever since the beginning, Camden Stonecrest Apartments have held the utmost profeessionalism of any apartment complex I have ever lived in and toured at. From the beautiful entrance to the welcoming and warming smiles from the Leasing Consultants and Maintenance crew, Camden has been a place that I have called home and enjoy being in. The leasing consultants have always been very quick to answer my questions when needed and the maintenance crew has been prompt when I need something looked at in my apartment. My two pet cats love living here too because of the windows that have ledges for them to sit on and let in an enormous amount of light. They also love how spacious it is for them to run around and play. Camden is very pet friendly and many of the residents partake in having one. For a high end apartment complex, Camden is number one in my book and one of the top apartment complexes in Charlotte.

I have lived at various Camden properties for years now and I always seem to be equally impressed by each community . Stonecrest is in an excellent location; right between shopping and dining. The staff here will make you feel as if you are living at a resort. Katy LeGrand the Assistant Manager goes above and beyond for her residents, making sure we get top grade A service . The property is ALWAYS in tip top shape , and the maintenance staff is extremely fast to respond. I absolutely love it here and couldn’t imagine ever living under any other property management company.

My husband and I have lived here since February and couldn’t be happier. Even in our one bedroom apartment we feel like we have plenty of room and sunlight. We are walking distance from the Stonecrest Shopping Center, a mile or so away from Blakeny and Earth Fare, Whole Foods and Fresh Market are all within 10 minutes from here. One thing that makes a place home is the people. The staff at Camden Stonecrest are exceptional. Katy Legrand was in charge of getting us into our new home and has been such a delight to work with. I have to say I feel like we have become friends and I look forward to seeing her when I come to the office. She makes things simple, she’s helpful, kind, and even when we have a concern she takes care of it promptly. We highly recommend Camden Stonecrest.

First and foremost, let me give a huge thank you to manager Ryan Waterhouse and his staff for making my move from overseas to Charlotte so much easier than I ever thought possible. The thought of staying in a hotel while searching for, and finalizing accommodation after 40 hours on an airplane journey was daunting to say the least. Fortunately for me, a friend recommended Camden Stonecrest and agreed to act as an intermediary for my securing an apartment. While this certainly wasnt a business as usual arrangement, Ryan accommodated us, and worked his way though the maze of foreign credit cards, no previous tenancy record or credit rating to go on. Everything that could have been put in the too hard basket was easily and professionally handled by Ryan and his staff to ensure my apartment was waiting for me upon arrival. Prior to my arrival, furniture rental move in, utilities turned on, lease arrangements etc all went flawlessly thanks to his efforts. An issue came up shortly after I moved in. I brought it to Ryans attention in the morning, and by early afternoon the issue was satisfactorily resolved. The apartment is great, amenities wonderful, and am looking forward to using the newly refurbished pool in the months to come.Again, thank you Ryan and your staff for making my settling in here in Charlotte a most pleasant and easy experience.

I cant believe how great Oscar and his team are! Ever since we moved in he is always so helpful and beyond nice. He is a huge asset to your company and I love seeing him each time I need something fixed!

We love it here at Camden! We love our unique layout with a study, how there are so many windows with beautiful natural light, our huge closet and really nice kitchen! Any maintenance problems we have they fix very quickly and the office staff is extremely nice! They heard we got married and sent us a card and bottle of wine. They write you handwritten notes and it shows that they go above and beyond to let their residents know they care! We love it here!

My husband and I have lived here just shy of five years. We are a retired couple from NY. We cannot compliment enough how wonderful it is here. The staff at Camden Stonecrest are the tops. We are very happy with the area as well. People are very kind and gentle. We certainly give it a five star rating.

I highly recommend Camden Stonecrest. I moved here a year ago, and I am very happy living here. The management team is very nice to work with. The maintenance team responds to any work order in less than 24 hours. The apartment complex is well managed, clean and organized. Finally, the location is very convenient!

The Camden Stonecrest location is just one of the reasons I have enjoyed living here. The pet friendly apartments are recently updated and just a few minutes away from good food and entertainment. The staff is great to work with and if an issue does come up it is resolved quickly. I have lived in a couple different apartments here and Tina (manager) has always been great to work with.

Ideal loccarion: close to shopping, banking, and medical services, yet quiet. Excellent management and amenities.

Currently a resident here at the complex some of the pros are location, polite staff, maintenance fixes problems quickly, landscaping is nice, and the pricing is good for the area as well. But I have run into a number of problems as well. Such as, packages being left on your doorstep instead of at the front office (my previous complex held them at the office which was so awesome), the pool sometimes is very dirty, whoever painted our apartment before moving in did a pretty bad job there are drips on the floors I cannot seem to clean and its very thick and just thrown on there, and we do pay for pest control yet there are always bugs. we do live on the first floor however so I understand bugs are bound to happen but sometimes its excessive and we have to tend to it ourselves (defeats the purpose of apartment living really). The pros outweigh the cons however and it is a nice place to live but after our lease is up in a year we will probably not renew.

This was our 2nd time renting from a Camden property, and it was an absolute pleasure both times. The staff was always friendly, helpful and looking out for our best interests. We had a few issues with our air conditioning over the summer, but the outstanding maintenance staff was able to promptly fix the issue every time. Overall a great option if you’re looking to live in Ballantyne.

Staff including maintenance personnel are always most pleasant and competent which just enhances the living experience here. A peaceful place to live.

Pros: It is a beautiful, clean place to live and the amenities are great.Cons: The parking at night is terrible! I once had to park on the other side of the apartment complex. If you can, get an apartment with a garage if moving here.

This use to be nice place to stay but has become over expensive,poor quality and maintenance. For every small fix in apartment, you have to talk customer care central team and small water leak e.t.c takes 1 week to fix.On a rainy day, you can see snake and reptiles on road and getting into apartment which is very UNSAFE for kidsfamily. Also, its over hyped and over priced.

Bugs!!! We picked up a sublease for about 3 months and were really glad we found a condo down the road and didnt renew our lease.. The first night at the apartment I opened the garage door and watched a half-dozen Palmetto bugs scamper.

I have been living at Camden a little over 2 years.This is the first time I have lived in a apartment in 25 years.First ,the team at Camden Stonecrest is top notch and that is where it begins.They have terrific amenities,their maintenance team are trusting and efficient and the location is absolutely wonderful.

Very good luxury apartments along with parking lot and gym, swimming pool in community center including playing area for kids. One thing that doesnt seems good is not the spacious park for kids toddlers.last month lots of robberies happened.

We were very picky and when we came to StoneCrest and met with Cara Sanders, we knew this was the place! Not just because of the beautiful location and the amenities offered, but the staff was 2nd to none! Cara took her time, showed us multiple apts, and didnt even seem a bit pushy, she was very knowledgeable about the spots, and even looked for the apt facing the woods and on 3rd floor which meant she did her homework before we even arrived! We looked at about 6 more properties after leaving, but even though some were closer to work, we still came back to the warm welcoming StoneCrest. After returning, we met again with Cara, and Tina as well, and we knew we made the right choice. You know you picked the right spot when only after a day of meeting the staff they remember your name, and us theirs. Been here over a month now, WE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE!
