Ellison is an amazing dude...He has lived out at Folly most of his life and truly understands the water in the area. It was very important for me to understand the ocean, currents and general safety. Ellison was able to teach me to surf and keep me aware of the ocean around me. He helped me spot rip currents, optimal tides, and trade winds that enabled me to pick the best time to go out during my lesson and on my own.Ellison pushed me into my first wave, helped my buy my first board, and was just down the beach when I got my first barrel!Dont sell out, go with Folly Beach Surf Lessons.
