Amazing way to see Charleston! So convenient and fun. We did everything from visiting the Angel Oak, driving by Rainbow Row, Tradd Street, the Battery, shopping on King Street, lunch, dinner and more! All in one day. Highly recommend. Great customer service.

My experience with Scooter Stop was awesome! I did a lot of research before buying my first scooter online, and Scooter Stop was the only dealer I could find that sold and shipped reliable scooters from respected brands. I also appreciated how they take the guess work out of figuring out dealer and prep fees by giving you the full price of the scooter up front.The delivery process was way more personable than I expected. We had a blast touring Charleston on a scooter. It was easy to rent and the 2 guys we dealt with were very friendly and they explained everything we needed to know. The price was very reasonable.

Caleb helped us figure out what scooter to get, answered all our questions and made the whole rental so easy. I definitely recommend going to Scooter Stop instead of one of the places at Folly Beach. The main this is that Scooter Stop’s scooters can be driven anywhere, whereas other places have a limited range.

Workers were extremely helpful and kind- highly recommend to anyone who needs service done on their moped!

Owner explained that he doesnt care about common courtesy to others as long as hes getting what he wants. His business leadership is that hes happy as long as he gets money, not making the customer happy or being courteous to others. This was explained through a phone call when his subcontracted worker who represents his company blocked in a lot of people in a parking lot rather than pull to the side where there was room. The subcontractor was also rude to a taxi driver who was trying to get through the parking lot. Yelling at him to back up so he would have more room to load the mopeds. Ownership reflected in the poor work and expectations of workers.To the owner: Heres your extra star, which is what you wanted. Unfortunately you never once sounded like you truely cared about others, including your customers

They provide a towing service but will only work on mopeds they sell. And will only tow to their shop, I told them that was wack and now I get cursed at in text messages. Very unprofessional idk what happened to this place but it was the best

Rented 6 scooters for the day.All worked flawlessly!You don’t have to fill the tank— but we did and total for all 6 was under 10 bucks.Helmets are included in the daily price.Had a great time exploring Charleston and surrounding area. Will use this place again. Have zero to complain about.

I rented two 50cc scooters from Caleb in Charleston, SC on two different days. Paul who prepared the scooter did a great job making sure my rental was safe by test driving it around the area before I took the scooter off the lot. He determined that the alignment of the front forks was off and setup another scooter very quickly. I wanted to return it after hours so they let me use the key dropbox around back where I parked the scooter when I returned it after hours. Very nice option. The second scooter worked out well too. I rode it around and this time returned it while they were open. Paul was there again and checked in the scooter pronto and thanked me for renting and I was on my way. My rental was provided as a gift card by a family member and the process could not have been smoother. Just entered the gift card online, completed the wavier. Caleb the owner was there and we chatted about scooters. I own a MP3 Piaggio. Caleb knows his scooters inside out. Great place to do business.

Caleb took it upon himself to cancel my order, and proceeded to accuse his customers of fraud AFTER a full payment was made. My Wife and I stayed in Charleston for a few days. We like to rent scooters as it gives us the freedom to come and go on our time and the wind in your face and the beautiful sights we truly feel freedom. It is easy to park and get around on. My wife does not mind it even when in a dress for dinner as it is easier then one would think for her to cover herself.Scooter stop was great with the pickup and delivery, the only thing I had to do was pay them and ride. They take care of everything, I was even able to text them a question and get an immediate answer.I highly recommend Scooter-Stop, World class service the scooter was in excellent shape and spotless.. If you’re trying to decide if you want to rent a scooter to see Charleston, then you absolutely should and you should rent from Caleb and Scooter Stop. My wife and I rented scooters from Caleb for the 4th of July 2020 and it was awesome! The customer service is amazing, and there is no better way to see the Charleston area. We took them all over: Folly Beach, Downtown Charleston, Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, and Mt. Pleasant. Next time we are in Charleston we’ll rent them for at least 3 days instead of only one.

I bought a Rough House moped 11-15. Since then Ive spent (other than scheduled maintenance) $240 on small repairs. A incredibly dependable bike. The staff is professional and courteous. The mechanics really know their stuff. I would recommend Scooter Stop to anyone in the market for a moped. I cant see how you could better deal them. Pat sanders

So I’ve been looking into getting a moped for a few months now. But I’ve been on the fence. It would save me so much money in gas, but it’s still a very new idea to me. Caleb and the Scooter Stop were awesome to deal with. Brought the scooters right to our hotel we kept them for 24 hours was there promptly. We had an issues late the night we rented them (user operator error :) ) Caleb was there 20 mins later another scooter. The scoots are all new, comfortable and run impeccably. One of the nicest customer service experiences EVER! We took my sons off-road hover board in to Caleb to see about a tire repair. We couldnt find anyone locally that works on hover boards. Great place to purchase a scooter from! They are super helpful in choosing a scooter and are timely and responsive with any questions or repairs that may be needed. They offer a towing service if you can’t transport it in for a repair yourself and are very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Went in to get a couple new parts for my moped (multiple times in one day) and Caleb and the guy’s were extremely helpful! Scooter Rental! Family of 4 rented scooters for 4 hours. Great service all around! Showed us how to use the scooters and off we went for a great drive straight south to Folly Island. Rented a Scooter for 3 days and everything worked great. There was another scooter rental place on Folly Beach too but you can’t take those off the island. This place is better, especially if you want to explore Charleston, folly beach, and beyond. The rental scooter fit two people easily FYI. Seriously top notch!
